I understand not signing people for the sake of it, but there's a lot of good players out there, this summer that could have filled, filled one of those holes that we mentioned. Yeah, instead, he seemed to put all those basket, all those eggs in the basket of signing forwards.

3:07And we also saw how that went with the SAR and the Minty and the MBI Chases that ultimately all led to nothing. So I think, yeah, he's done well with the two forwards, he signed, but again, he's ignored the glare in the obvious problem. So I do like the sort of the Tuxedo analogy because, you know, he's, um, he's basically spent all his money on that and he's not, not getting a thing there for his shoes and socks. Money is important though, because we've heard, and I already mentioned that a few times about, you know, how we spent money and, you know, some targets were out because of the economic reasons. Money keeps getting mentioned and I know you wrote this. There is a need to be realistic. We know there is no money tree at Annfield, but again, about not signing the field, a, and a fallback. The one thing that people keep pointing towards, we keep hearing there's no magic money tree or, you know, we've got to be careful with our funds. We have the highest net

4:08spend. I think most people put it around 230 million, so people will quote, well, why did you choose to allocate the funds that way then? Yeah, yeah, exactly. You know, I look at some of the business and I think that it wasn't really their fault, but anyone you speak to in France says that they overpaid for barcola, which sort of, they sort of had to, I think PSG forced that, but, you know, he's 50 million more than last year and he's, you know, technically a year closer to his contract finishing. So there's that, you can look at that, you can look at, just last some other way that they seem to go a bit mad. And you think could they have possibly done something differently to get gay through the door earlier or, or a McPhil there? So yeah, I think he's, as we keep saying, he's

5:09got the big moves right, but he's, it's the little ones that have let him down, the less glamorous signings, the ones that aren't going to be, you know, a back page of every paper in the country, the ones that aren't going to be dominating sky sports news for weeks. Yeah, I think those were the ones that could have just put the jigsaw together a little bit better, because I do look at the Liverpool's team and I think they are just two or three players away from a really, really good team again. And obviously that can be achieved with the new sporting director soon, but just going into this season, I think there was a real chance. 7:16We finally got it announced that deals been agreed to sign Dillian and Gesson from San Etienne. The French forward is going to join on a permanent transfer in January but it's the rest of the whole season, breast on loan. Also, as you mentioned before, Broodmans, that's the best part of 30 million quid also and he's going to come as well next season. You think of him Dukeway and all these youngsters more talent and die. It is important to say that for all the questions we've got around the senior recruitment as plenty. The likes of Matt Uberi, Pedro Marquez, Julian Ward, part in it as well, there's losing to be like really on top of the youth recruitment, really killing it in that sense. Yeah, absolutely. I think for all we criticise the top dogs, I think we should say a word of praise for all the likes of Matt Nubri, seems to be pulling these players out of fin air every week. I mean, I've been in airports in Europe before and seeing some of these Liverpool people just knocking around. I think what

8:18are they doing there? There are always just scouring the market for the next talent. I think that Broodmans sounds like he could be one of the next best goalkeepers in the world. We saw in pre-season our talented enduckwiers, Taller and Die, maybe a little bit behind enduckwee but meant to be really good. Samuel Martinez from Columbia and the lad Dillian, Dillian, not sure if I pronounce that right, I'm just guessing with the pronunciation. But yeah, he looked talented as well. He gets a loan to the top flight in front, so that's good for him. So I think in the loans manager as well, Probert looks like he's good and you hear good things about him. So there's a lot of good talent there and also the ones they signed from this country, I think Rio Tre, you know, Maranalo,

9:23James McConnell was signed when he was about 14, 15, Kumar was signed when he was about a bit younger than that, Kira Monashima was nicked from United when he was a bit younger. They're really good at that as well, so not all of them are make it of course, but if two or three of them do, then they're laughing. Yeah, it will be interesting to see how many make it, but it should be something that's not ignored despite all the concerns about the senior element. The one final thing I wanted to talk about with the senior recruitment is sometimes actions more than words. Isn't it quite damning that Federico Chieza and Endo are left out the Champions League squad, even when long-term absentees, I know they could come in the end like the oldie Bradley and I could see K are included. But isn't that kind of a little bit damning of the recruitment that there's two senior players who they didn't shift, they're not even going to put in the Champions League squad. Yeah, it's a case of deja vu for Federico Chieza

10:25really, because it was the same last year I seem to remember and then someone got injured, it might have been the only one and then he came back in. Endo, sort of not really seen or heard from him for a while, thinking did he play one of the preseason games then he sort of don't really see much or hear anything about him. So you have to conclude that their time is numbered at Liverpool, you probably thought as much about Chieza for quite a while. I think the word was that Liverpool would listen to offers for him in the final days of the window, non-before coming. However, I think a lot of that was the fact that he's injured at the moment, which he seems to always be injured. So yeah, it's damning, but I suppose you could flip it on its head and say it's good for the younger lads who have been given the nod ahead of him. You know, the likes of James McConnell for example, who seems to have really forced himself into the plans, you know, the players

11:25who we thought might have gone out and learned like you could, right? Right. And your chambers and they've obviously forced their way into the plans as well. So, so suppose you can look at it that way and say well done to them, but yeah, it's very damning for Chieza and Endo, you'd hope that they could find their own new job, a new club in January, especially Endo, because Finky played a really understated role in title when sort of coming on last 15 minutes and showing it up, but of a fan favourite. So yeah, be good to see them get a good club in January. Yeah, let's talk about in January, but even just for the near future, it's important to say this coming week, Champions League starts, this is Ando, the Raiola's first three game week, you know, it's a regulated goes intense now, doesn't it? It's its which of course tonight, but I've led to Goatwood Wednesday and full on Saturday, so with three game week. It's interesting,

12:26you can never predict, but we don't last season on a slot where a boy changes it almost seemed at all costs. You get the feeling you're going to see a lot of rotation this coming week from Ando, and Raiola. Yeah, well, he's never had to do this before, so it's all new for everyone really, but there's, we mentioned the wingers the other day, sorry, not the other day, the other minute, and how there's four quality wingers there, you'd think that he could make a change there, you wouldn't mind a Rauho getting a start, because you don't want to overwork a Jacquet, for example. You wouldn't mind some midfield rotation as well, obviously that's a good opponent, and going to be a tough game, but I think it's going to be interesting, Raiola, shakes things up a little bit this next week, and then I think after that there's the Carrabale midweek as well, so you'd be looking for minutes for some of the younger players even still.

13:28I think it's a lot sort of tossed off the Carrabale last year, didn't we? I don't think here are there quite do that, but I think he will see it as a chance to give the rest to some players, you know, I'm thinking he's up to miss most of last season, you don't want him to be playing every week. So yeah, it's going to be interesting to see how he chops and changes. This coming week, Bradley Barcola, where are you reckonin? Not where he gets his debut, but where does he get his first start for you? Well, we were talking about this at the press yesterday, amongst the other journalists, and quite a few people seem to be putting him to start tonight, which I wouldn't be surprised at all if he did start, but I think realistically, I was expecting 25 minutes off the bench sort of, just fitness-wise, you don't want to flog him too early.

14:28So I would say, if in an ideal world, he does a cameo tonight and 60 minutes on Wednesday, and then what is it for them after that? Is it? Maybe he starts that one. Actually, no, I think he'll start on Wednesday, but I think he'll get subbed off relatively early as he builds his fitness up. But you never know, we don't know. It's a tough question. I think I'm going to go with third. Wow. Fourth. One of the two. I think Arsenal will win it again. I think

16:38City will probably finish second again. I think Chelsea will be up there. I think Liverpool could win it. I'm not ruling them out of winning it, but I just think there's a few design faults in there that might just hold them back. Take what most people would take. Third or fourth right now, we're going to all honesty. Hopefully that bears fruit. Double play a question. Player of the year and top scorer. I think I think I'm going to go with the same person for both, and I'm going to get EZAC. Wow. I don't think he's looked very, very good. He definitely didn't look good against Newcastle. He scored a tap in against Forest, but I really think when he gets going, I think he could be, I think he could get a 20 goal season. Famous last words, I'll probably do his hammy tonight and that'll be that, but yeah, I wouldn't mind EZAC.

17:40I think Barca will have a good season, but I'll stick with my guns on EZAC. Don't want to be too harsh on this. I don't want to say like a lot, but who do you think it could be a difficult season for player wise? Yes, it's another tough one. I think it'd be too obvious for me to go with Frimpong. I think you could probably say that already. Yeah, I think again, Rio goes through Madre, thought he might have a difficult second season, but I think he will settle. I will go with Frimpong. I thought I've got an edgy and going with someone like Van Dyke to time to catch up with him, but I think I'll get a lot of abuse of a said that, so I'll go with Frimpong. I think most people will go with that real. And the final question, because of course it's the most important thing that we talk about,

18:41there's a reason that we'll have a Champions wall. Realistic chances of silverware, CUP, League, anything this season? Well, as I said, I wouldn't completely rule them out of going for the title. I just think that Arsenal are probably a little bit better right now. And Champions League, you never know if they can put a run together second off of the season. I think it's a little bit look of the draw a little bit in the Champions League. FA CUP, you never know. I think I'll back them to win one trophy. I don't know which one Carrabale you never know. I think maybe it's hard to win the Carrabale because you have to sort of I think to win the Carrabale you have to fluke it early doors and win a few games with reserves and they've got spurs which makes that difficult but it's presumed they'll rotate as well. Yeah, I wouldn't be completely surprised at all if they went deep into the Champions League and maybe won an FA Cup in that represent a very good season. We would absolutely, I think,

19:46almost would take that in what could be an interesting year. Let's put it that way. Well there you go ladies and gents, again tonight some people have got a dash off to it switch. There's a lot to question we might be talking to any 27 transfers before we know it. But full backs of Bostly, there's a lot to consider in the near future.
