About this episode
Love and marriage have little to do with each other. At the most basic level, with all romantics aside, this is the truth. Marriage is a government contract. Love is a chemical reaction. Enter stage-left poets, authors, and musicians who slowly built this pristine palace of passion and neverending possibilities around these biological and governmental contracts. Every living organism has the same basic programming to reproduce, yet we as human beings have romanticized and monetized this biological exchange. Pair bonding has been assassinated by the debaucherous culture in which we live. If not for the fact that marriage is sheltered in the strong arms of religion and spiritual people, the institution would lose what faith it still holds onto like a loose tooth holding onto the gums of the human mouth.
