The Carolina Panthers' defense is on track to be the worst statistical unit in franchise history. While the stats support this claim, the Panthers have also faced a wave of injuries, with Derrick Brown and Shaq Thompson missing the majority of the season. Regardless, defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero has become an embattled figure among the fan base. If Evero were to be fired, he would likely emerge as one of the top DC candidates in the upcoming coaching cycle. Despite this situation, should Dave Canales consider moving on from him after the 2025 season?
