On 937TheTicket and TheTicketFM.com. I'm gonna steer me to silver stallion. We're not a mark upon a silky high. Teaching he can trust me like a brother. One day we'll saddle up and ride. And we're gonna ride. We're gonna ride. Ride like the one I had a jack of time with the devil close behind.

We're gonna ride. Song of the day is silver stallion by the highway man 1990 464 565 851 is bad. 10 is good texturizing the starter Heyman Juleur song of the day. I'm gonna find the reckless one. Raise your blades and die center mind. Just a touch of sadness and a pain under lightning. It fires. And we're gonna ride. We're gonna ride. Ride like the one I had a jack of time with the devil close behind. Once again, song of the day from 1990 Silver stallion by the highway man 464 5 6 8 5 1 is bad.

10 is good texturizing on the starter Heyman Juleur song of the day. What's the baseline bill? Baselines 7. I thought you would go mad. Don't start with that 5.7 you brought yesterday. Everybody had the highest scores of the year. Mad respect for the song. Very, very just incredible respect. The one I jack of time. That's there's some lyrics in there that are really good. Was it gonna find me a reckless woman? I'm gonna find me a reckless woman. Raise your blades and die center eyes just a touch of sadness in her fingers. Thunder and lightning in her thighs. What was that? Read it one more time. The thunder and lightning in her thighs. That's the sound effect. Okay, I mean, read it one more time. There's lots of good lines in this song. They said the lyrics were incredible.

A touch of sadness in her fingers. Thunder and lightning in her thighs. That's beautiful, isn't it? I mean, it's really, I mean, the first line is beautiful. I mean, you always look for a good first line and good opening. It's just like a lead of a story, you know, a lead of a column. I'm gonna steal me a silver stallion with not a mark upon his silky hide. Teach me he can trust me like a brother. One day we'll saddle up and ride. That's poetry. Poetry, I agree. The lyrics are incredible. The song's not incredible. The lyrics are incredible. I, we are at odds. No, it's just. I can still give it a seven, eight two. Okay, I'm not gonna go. I like, right, right. If all of a sudden, I mean, if we're getting ready to play Clemson and Asselt's Championship game, and that's what the team comes up. No, that's not the setting. Yeah, it just wouldn't do much for me. No, that's not this type of song. Or if I was just driving on a Sunday, it's not gonna do much for me.

Oh, I'm playing it 20 times. 20 times. I wouldn't go that long. I can go seven, eight, two. I'll play that song 20 times. It's a baseline nine. And I would go nine, eight, seven. Whoa. Yeah, that's, that song is incredible. Nine, eight, seven. That's an incredible song. Where's Conrad today, you think? The score. Six, nine, nine. Nine, eight, seven. Generational. It's just Conrad. He did hear me dubbing in this. He said, I love this song. He was, he was, I want to, I want to literally, it's a real score for him. No, we could hug. I mean, side hug. Uh, some rainy season before he gets the mail page. That's side hugged. Your wife, right? That was all I've also given her the, the nucks like that. All I could think about watching the Florida State game was. Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun. Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun. So weird. Why didn't you do that?

Why didn't you do that? It's not how you do it. So strange. All right. Ah, some scores before he got the mail, bag. Wishing was patient at Chris who gave us the glasses yesterday. 2.1, his first low score to 1. Very long time. Interesting. No, we can't not say it's ready. Chris, no way. Troy, I spent in our breakers. Troy, 65, Brian, uh, too early for this 4.3. Cornerators says, what is this? 2? And that's being generous. Huh? Seal, Porter, zero. 0. Albert, 5. Genghis, 7. 8. Mighty, mouse, 6.9. Bolt, 7. 6. Bolt, smart. Drew, 8.2. Charlie, 7. You're back in for a 7 right now. Genghis, 7.7 on that one. So that's Rashon. Rashon, 7.7. Oh, thank you, Rashon. Rashon knows what's up. Now we go to the text line. John, 1. John, 1. Robert in Oklahoma, 8.64. Cousin, bird, 3. Don't cross over the 8.64 from the Oklahoma. Caleb from Lee, not Lehigh, but Lee, 8.8. What about Shimonia? Shimonia. I haven't seen Shimonia. Yeah. Rick from Wahoo, 6. Brett Bertrand, that's Joey's friend, 5.

Jake and Hickman, 3. Rick and Susie, 9 from Hustleland, Bulldogs, and Center. They have Bulldogs. Brian and California, 8.5. Less, 8.1. Who in Columbus? Bird! 5 from Bird. It's about 8. The Bird's Day. The Bell, and the Bell, Bell, Curve, Bird. Cody Eckburn. I don't even want to, I'm sure if I can even take Bird's score seriously anymore. I don't even know what, what they are. Now, to be fair, the bird is sort of Jake's, yeah, Jake's going to sleep, Bell, Curve. It is Bell, Curve. Yes. For him, Cody Eckbear, 2.2. I've never heard this song in my life, he says. That's too bad. Now you have, and you should be happy. I'm not sure if I can do it again, Cody Eckbear. Robin Valparais was 7.7. Leroy, 8.9. Shim from Halem. Not Shim and the Abbot. Shim. Bye. We got, now we have, Chimai with the putter, Ike. Shim and the Abbot. 8. 8. It says, goes good with his weather. That song. Okay. Sad. Drawing out. Oh, stop. Don't see. It's scary. Oh, that's the take that will not make you happy.

Someone says, 4. Probably the worst song the highwayman ever did. No. And that's, that's really unfair. Big river. It's the best. I know the song big river. Not after here, I'm sure I have. The highwayman just, I love everyone in the highwayman. I don't love the highwayman together. No. The best song is big river. No. The best song is born and raised in black and white. That song is amazing. You like that, seriously? Yeah, great song. But face down, that's a 10. Not that. Sean and Omaha, 8.5. Downtown Scott. 7.5. I'm not a face down. That's a 10. Sean and Omaha, 8.5. Downtown Scott, 7.5. And Gavin and Pender, 7. See the scores ramped up. Jennifer, 6.5. One that did not ramp up. Hey, thanks for those candles. I did light one last night. Jennifer, thank you. Towers on. 4.2 from Banger yesterday to blah today. Did it went from Banger to blah? And yesterday was a banger. Oh, yeah. It's really squire. Oh, it's my favorite song for 10. Lonely is the dance. Lonely is the dance. Lonely is the dance. It's really incredible. It's really incredible. Jordan from Wilbur, 7.9.

Pop, 7.5. St. Potato. Usually low scores. Today, 9.3.3. I mean, one thing to address. You can't put Billy Squire in the same category as Chris. Stopperson, I add. Wayla Jennings and Willie Nelson. That's a mockery of music. They should have added Squire. You should have been part of the high. The biggest problem is that Squire was not part of the highway men. He was part of the highway men. He was part of the highway men. That takes off. The highway men didn't take off, Steve. It didn't. Yes, it didn't. It really didn't. That's your book. Yeah. But Squire would have added to that in a high rate. You can't even mention him in the same sentence as those guys. Billy Squire. Song of the Day was Silver Stallion by the highway men from 1990. Jake, thank you for that. You're welcome. Bill didn't like it as much. We didn't hate it so much. Seven eights done. Seven eights. It is time without further ado. Four. The mailbag. The bag. Here we go. Mailbag sponsored by our friends at computer hardware. You'll see a trip of the team just out of the 70th and O also in Carney Hastings and GI 46 years in business.

In Lincoln's just out the 70th and O Ryan starts off saying what the hell is going on at LSU? It was the first question. Are they getting expelled from the conference possibly? What is happening to LSU? I think it's over last night. They have made the move. They are not adding the two players. They're adding two players but not the former NFL players. I think that is over. I think in the end it was like was it ever not going to be the end game? Did anyone ever think they were going to play for LSU? I did not. I did not. I don't know. The SEC is the presidents are meeting to discuss. Yeah, but they're not going to explain that because they're not doing it. Lane pushed it too far. What I have. Lane's comments at half time of that game about what we do half time of the Clemson game. I think what we do if we had pro players that pushed it.

It pissed off the president's chancellors, the hierarchy of the SEC. Lane pushed it too much. Lane going on fansville and making a mockery of the rules is not good. I don't stay in my own lane. Lane's pushing it too far. That's my take on it. I would agree it's been pretty good. I can't just flout the rules and then make fun of it. But they will win the national championship. That'll be great. I really believe that. I'm actively cheering against that. I think the whole country insurance isn't one size fits all. Like I said, when it was 49 and a half states to one, there was no one pulling for Clemson. Everyone in LSU to win. They love LSU. People love LSU. It's the buy you. They love it. They love it. Now they don't. They're not sitting there out. Thank you. Other places are going awesome. Thanks for being real. It is made a turn. It has. Right now. But now it's full on embrace this character of himself. It's really off putty. John and Lincoln says, good morning. If you had a friend who asked you to help them with the corn harvest, what would you be comfortable doing? Driving the combine to harvest the corn or driving the grain truck to the elevator or doing something else that's John?

I'd feel more comfortable driving the combine. Because now with the GPS and stuff, it's almost unflappable that you're going to make an air on it. If you're driving a truck, let's say you're pulling one of those giant grain trailers full of it. The amount of weight in that, if you get too close to the edge of a gravel road or the music can happen, I want nothing. What could happen? The thing could flip and the danger of it. You don't want to drive the semi? No, I don't want to drive the semi. People now drive semi into fields. They drive that. They drive right into the field. That wasn't the case back in our day. They go right into the field with the semi. 100. Then they'd have the grain trucks you would drive. Again, and the best part about the old grain trucks where people are used to once a year, how the brakes, not good. Just understand you don't have very good brakes. But you're driving something that's now got just tons of corn in it to stopage. I think it's very... I'm sorry, I was looking at a text from Chris Slatt.

What did you... Slatt? Slatt, yeah, a trainer of the century. What did you want to do then in the field? I want to run the combo. I want to drive the combo. I want to drive the combo. I want to be able to drive the combo. That was awesome. Why do they need a GPS in there? I don't know. I will say this. I have some farmer friends in my births. One of them. Lingenfeld will do a field old school by hand. Just driving the combo. Like his dad did. Like his grandpa did. Bert Lingenfeld. Bert still does that. Yes. And there's probably several to do that. If you're a farmer out there and you still do some of it, just be... It's like this. Just put the tablet down and drive the damn combo. Try that out. Put the tablet down. Drive the damn combo. Be a dude. I mean... People know who they are. It's a T-shirt, Bill. Yeah. Put the tablet down. Try the damn combo. Get a T-shirt. You are not big on the tablet. No, I'm down on that. Really bug a pool. I mean, I'd love to see a guy driving up there like that.

You know who... Because you make a mistake. It's a big mistake. You know who makes very effective use of the tablet? Who's that? Greg. Is he? Tablet guy. Are you driving the combo or the truck? Steve. I was kind of saying the truck, but Bill kind of convinced me of the dangers of that. On those gravel roads that are sometimes narrow and it's a little bit... They're not like the banks aren't built up that well. I'd probably go combo on. We're about right on combo here. We're about right to drop into Pure Hell also. But it's a good one. It's going to be when harvest starts. You can't drive anywhere rural. And there's people on all the roads and highways and slow moving vehicles. And people are in the two car get stacked up. And when three car get stacked up. And you're going to go all the sudden. You're in between Central City and Fullerton. You're driving 40 miles an hour. You're not going anywhere. You're very familiar with this world. Yes. Next up, Kip says this. If you had to pee 13 inches tall or 13 feet tall.

Which would you pick and why? 13 inches. That's just over a foot. That's a tough question. A foot tall or 13? 13 feet is weird. That's weird city. Both be weird. I'm saying if I don't. 13 inches you can get stepped on. So I got to go 13 high. God, what would you do? Where do you sleep at? You can't get into a car. 13 feet high. You couldn't get into a plane. You couldn't drive a car. You couldn't drive a motorcycle. You can't do anything. No. Either one of them. I don't know. I don't know how to answer that question. I really have no interest in the question as far as the. It's a little horrifying. It will be horrifying. Yes. 13 inches tall. Yes. Yeah. Now if you had a way. It'd be dangerous to be 13 inches tall. If you would have went more. You could be devoured. Which would rather be, you know, four foot tall or seven or seven eight. That'd be interesting. More like, okay, we can have a conversation. Here both of them are very extreme. Yeah, just extreme. Not much there. Yeah. Very extreme.

I would lean towards high because you could get eaten by like a coyote. Yes. I mean, or whatever. A big dog, you know, could you'd be threatened by any any moment any day. Anytime. If I just if sugar was taller than me, it bothered me. Really weird. Yes. My dog is bigger than me. I'd be concerned. Sugar get over here. Yes. You wouldn't take your seriously. No, it couldn't be serious. No. Then taking sugar for a walk. Your 13 inches tall. Just pulling me down the sidewalk. Nobody would take seriously. Laura would not take your seriously. We could do talk radio at 13 inches. No. Yeah, you could. At the odd. You set you up on the table. You can't build his box. This is that you ride up there like a little doll talking doll. Last one is some Derek says real question is Davos when he did at Clemson. What happened to Davos? You got sound of him. Are you going to play it later now? I can do it right now. Do it right now.

Okay, this was a great moment for Davos. If it's the one I'm thinking of. This is from I think was this this week or just after the this week this week. This week probably is press cap. All right, here's Davos. You get the question. You're right. Anything about your offseason roster. Construction. I don't. Chapel, you come with all these questions. I tell you you're the gotcha guy. No, I don't. I don't, man. I regret being open one right now. I regret that. But no, we're. What can you ask me at the end of the season? You know, the season in over. I mean, we got one game. We got to love more. Well, if we go to lemon one, you promised me you asked me that then. Okay, good. I'll answer it. All right. But I'm not answering questions like that, you know, chapel. I know I know that's your role. And that's in this environment, you know, to be the to be the guy that wants to create all the controversy and ask the controversial questions. If that's who you are, it's fine. I get it. But I'll answer that and say we played one game.

One game. All right. Did you play football? No. Okay. Well, they give you 12 games. And at the end of the year, you count them up. All right. And, you know, that's when that's when those type of questions are fair to me. You know, not after one game. To maybe the best team in the country. Maybe the best team in the country. All right. Now, other people have good teams and coaches and things like that too. So I give them credit. We got 11 more games to go to go battle. And we'll count them up. Then you can ask me whatever question you want. And it's a double after you lost that. Yes. Yeah. Chapel Fowler. He's the chapel Fowler's the beat writer for the state newspaper. Did you think that question was out of line completely? Um, okay. The question was, do you regret the way you constructed your roster? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think it's.

It's a little much. It's a little harsh. I do that next. If they went to you and do that after they beat somebody. I think his answer was perfect. Now, somebody's going to use that against him if they go five and seven. They're going to bring that back. I have from an inside source. Very, very inside source that said. And it wasn't just it wasn't someone watching from TV. This is an inside source that said maybe one. Clums and player could have started in the 22 for all issue. That was that was their assessment from the inside. What's trouble? And that's that's trouble because usually always I've been. I've been a place before where we work very good. I'm going like, well, we have about three players here. It would start there right now. Well, three or four of that. And I'm talking on teams that would that one that weren't very good. And so there's always players that was that was the word was. That was it. And then several would struggle to be in the two deep. That's how that's how different the roster is to answer your question. Yeah, I think it's out of line to ask that after one game against maybe the best team in the country. Yeah, I do.

I wouldn't answer. I wouldn't ask. Ask something more like is was there anyone out that not by naming names. Anything else you think you could have done different. Maybe to bolster the roster you already have put together or something of that nature. Would have been as harsh but different way to ask it. They might will say, well, I need another example need another. Yeah, because that's still not that one game. I mean, dabble is right. You asked me that for one game. Come on. The gotcha guy. I like that. I know this. It's they they need to have it was seven and five last year. And they need to have a what did really good showing here in these 90s. I mean, there's I have to go through their skyline depth. But it's I mean, they need to have a they have another seven and five. Yeah, it'll be it'll it'll it'll get a little bit rough eventually because you go through all the places where things change. It always were on last. The the the the. The question. The the greatest team ever put together. He made it a year and a half. Here's the question about dabble. Would you hire him at another school right now?

Well, if he's available or you hire somebody sure would because they say, hey, listen, look at his background. What he's done all these things. But yeah, it would be it wouldn't be that it wouldn't be a discussion for sure. It would be the slam dunk that was five years ago. Yeah, yeah, is is dabble leaving. See, leaving if often Clemson lets him go. Now he's Florida State hiring him. Question big really good question. So if the board leaves is Alabama hired. I don't know. That is the mail bag. We come back hour two is next. The early break of the ticket. Your listening to early break with Steve Syphil. Jake Sorenson and Bill Bush sponsored by Sandhill's Global on 93 seven the ticket and the ticket FM dot com. In business, there's no room for guesswork. Every shipment matters. Every deadline counts.
