The Utah Mammoth dropped a 4-3 decision to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night, extending

their losing streak to four gains.

This marked their worst skid in the 2026 season after a strong run without long slumps.

Despite jumping out to a two-nothing lead, penalties derailed them against the Penguins

team with one of the league's top power plays.

Gwinter and Ian Cole stressed avoiding unnecessary penalties, especially on a 5-on-3.

Head coach Andre Torini noted they tried forcing plays instead of playing smart, losing

momentum despite a brief tie in the third.

With just 15 games left, playoff pressure is mounting for the mammoth, who need about

20 points to lock in a spot.
