Maria Bartiromo Leaves Fox, Vance Defends Tucker, Ryan Reynolds Sucks & Lindsay Clancy Jury Chaos

About this episode

Maria Bartiromo is suddenly out at Fox News, and questions are already swirling about what really happened behind the scenes. The Chicks break down the reported dispute involving coverage of China election interference, Donald Trump’s reaction to Bartiromo’s departure, and JD Vance’s response when reporters asked whether she could be headed to the White House.

Vance also faces tough questions about Iran, reveals the bizarre RFK Jr. diet behind his recent weight loss, and gets pressed over his continued friendship with Tucker Carlson. The hosts react to Vance’s defense of Tucker, his comments about Abdul El-Sayed, and growing criticism from conservatives who want him to clearly address some of Carlson’s more controversial statements.

Plus, the Lindsay Clancy trial gets even more chaotic as jury issues, courthouse drama, and the massive online movement supporting Clancy continue to raise questions. Ben Shapiro fires back at Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk’s PAC starts spending big ahead of the midterms, Enes Kanter Freedom takes legal action against the WNBA, and the hosts react to even more wild stories from the week.

Stick around for the lighter side of the show, including ’80s nostalgia, a hilarious AI-generated Chicks song, ridiculous police social media posts, listener comments, and more.

It's a huge problem that they're stifling right action will stories like that. Especially about China. Peter has snatched as the kids would say. All right, he's looking snatched like if you became demon possessed mock. I would be like I love you, but there's a demon in you girl. Right. All we want is to actually know where JD stands on some of this stuff. Right. The fact that we don't know is a huge, huge problem. Hello, happy Friday. Good people out there and see O. G. R. Land. How are we? It's Friday. It's great. I just tell you that I am pumpkin spicing it up right now. I am so fine. Really? Oh, yeah. I am basically done that yet. Oh my God. Like I am my look at my cool like mud. Too soon. My God every day. Week. PSLs. Happy you guys. You guys, we have a, I think it's going to be a fun show today. We've got a lot of fun, different

kinds of things to get to talk about. But first, we'll just kick it right out of the gate with the big news from Fox News yesterday. And that is that Maria Bartiromo, the reason for my name today is no longer with Fox. They were released a very terse short statement, as you can see, that says they've parted ways and they thank Maria for her work over the last 12 and a half years and wish her all the best on her next chapter. Of course, we don't know what that chapter will be, but there was some speculation right away. There were rumors flying around that maybe she's going to be the next press secretary, which I cannot fathom. Yeah. I mean, I don't, I don't know if that be the best fit, but I could see her working in, you know, in some place in the White House. I could see her doing that. But I also see she's worth 50 million just on her own. That's her independent net worth by herself without her husband. She's worth 50 mill.

She's an accomplished author. She's been around forever. Like she's also just days away from celebrating her 59th birthday, which is September 11th, by the way. She's going to be 59 years old. Like she could just retire. It's like, why doesn't she? I know. I would. I would 50 mill. I'd be like, I'm going to go ahead and just. I'm just going to go right a book or something. I'll do it like a tell all, you know what I mean? Yeah. People buy dirt. She could write some dirt. I don't know. I don't get it. I do not. I don't either. Trump is a huge fan of hers. And he tweeted about this. If you want to read this, I can't believe Maria Bartoromo is no longer going to have a great show on Fox News. Three different shows. Always number one, Maria is a total professional and a true warrior. Her fans of which there are many will not be happy. God bless you, Maria. President Donald J. Trump. He does love her. He does love her. I remember her from back when she was on CNN in the 90s. I would go to the gym back in like 95.

And like watch her on the TV. Is that because she had the short hair. She's really chic. I just remember thinking she was so cool. That's what you know, then didn't suck so hard, you know, back in like 95. But she was really cool then. And I still think she's kind of cool. She's super cool. Yeah. But there is reason to believe that this is not a friendly split because she has hired the same lawyer that Tucker Carlson used. The same lawyer that Justin Baldoni was with. I can't actually was this Blake's lawyer or Justin's lawyer. I think this was Justin's lawyer. So anyway, it's a big time big shot lawyer. And so that is that is something. That escalated quickly. That escalated quickly. And now there's some outlet called status, which claims to have the inside scoop on what happened. And if this outlet is to be believed, what they're saying is that this has to do with a speech

that Trump made in July, where he talked about 2020 election interference by China. And apparently Maria wanted to cover it. Other people wanted to cover it. And Fox News senior executives apparently sent instructions to their employees saying, do not give any credence to these claims. And they're probably super gun shy over the whole dominion thing, all of the stuff that went down. But apparently Maria, then maybe she was asked by the White House, how come you're not covering this? Like this is a big story. And she leaked, I guess, or sent them a copy of the instructions that they were given saying, you can't cover this. And then Fox News was like, you can't share that information. So by that's the story according to this outlet called status. Problem with that. I have a problem with that. Like it. It her not being able to cover something. Yeah, it's a yeah, it's a huge problem that they're

stifling right actual stories like that, especially about China. What the hell box? What's going on? I don't know. That's kind of a problem. I mean, like I don't know the whole gun shy about dominion thing. OK, that's fine. But if it's a real story and China's involved, we all kind of know that they do meddling stuff here, talking about propaganda yesterday, about the data center stuff. So I mean, it's not like it's so far fetched that they wouldn't have some, they couldn't have some sort of a hand. And that if she was on to something, why would you stifle that? What's going on? Are they controlling you? That's the thing. And so if there is, if that is to be believed, that doesn't make Fox look very good at all. Yeah. And you know that that's the kind of stuff that's going to get out. And so if they fired her because she actually outed them in that way, it's going to get way worse when there's a lawsuit and then there's discovery and all of the things. So I don't know, it's a story that we're obviously going to keep and pay attention to.

And actually JD Vance did the presser in, you know, obviously they haven't named who Caroline's successor is going to be. But JD Vance took to the podium yesterday and he was actually asked about Maria Bardromo. He was just finding out about it kind of like when we all were. And so we're going to show you what JD Vance's response to that was, but not before we remind you that your gut health is important. And cowboy colostrum can help it. That's the cookies and cream too, isn't it? This is the vanilla one. I love the vanilla. I love the cookie. I love the vanilla, but the cookies and cream is so good. And you guys fall as cold and flu season like I've been fighting a cold bug that's been flying around our house. I think I'm winning, honestly. The bug. Yeah, you don't sound bad at all. No, it did not know who he was dealing with that part. You know, gut health is a huge part of your immune system. And I know that now. And it's one of the many reasons I take cowboy colostrum. I take that and I drink my coffee before the show. And then I eat breakfast after the show. And I look you care, but I'm just telling you what I do.

But my chocolate or the cookies and cream colostrum is one of my favorite little rituals in the morning. And I can pack it when I travel. It is so freaking yummy, y'all. And it's rich. And you guys are going to love this. The bioactive like immunoglobulins and growth factors. And that is your end result. And those are the systems like front line. It's like the big old bonus during cold and flu season. It's like extra ammo that you have. And it works. It really does. I mean, I started taking it for my gut. But I'm pretty sure it's helped my hair and skin too. Because when your gut is healthier, everything else improves too. So you can get 25% off your entire order. Just head to cowboyclostrum.com slash chicks. Use code chicks at checkout. That is 25% off when you use code chicks at cowboyclostrum.com slash chicks. Chicks do it. All right. So here is JD getting asked that question about Maria Barbarino by the press corps yesterday and his response. News week. Hi. News week.

Hi. Can you tell me, Maria Barbarino just left the Fox News. Is she going to be the next White House press secretary? I don't know, man. No, I don't think so. I just saw the news literally as I walked out before. I love Maria. I think she's an amazing person, amazing talent. I don't get involved in the personal drama of media stations. In fact, I'd like to invite Peter Newsy to come up here and ask an answer question about what happened to Maria. But I think whatever she does, look, she's going to do great and I wish her all the best. She's a very, very dear friend. I haven't even talked to her so I don't know the backstory about why she's decided to leave Fox News. Yeah. She should, she should write a tell all. That's what she might do. Yeah. I mean, she's got a lot of money. She could take her time with that and just chill out. Yeah. That's what I would do. That's what she's asking me. But that's what I would do. You know, she's got some stories. You know, oh my God. Yeah. For her whole career, just spent her entire career.

She's written other books, but it would be interesting to read about the last couple of years. You know? Mm-hmm. So, JD also answered a lot of other questions and one of those, the Snippier one came from Caitlin Collins, of course, because she's just Caitlin. She's so, she's Caitlin. She's so Caitlin. Right. So she was asking about the timing of the end of this Iranian conflict that we're still embroiled in. And she asked specifically if this would all be over in time for midterms and here is how he responded. Will this more be over by the time of the midterm elections? Well, Caitlin, again, I don't, I wouldn't call it a war. Right now there is no active shooting. I recognize there has been places where this has flared up. Major combat operations. Again, major combat operations lasted for about six weeks. And since then, we destroyed, of course, their nuclear facilities with midnight hammer. With epic theory, we destroyed their defense industrial base for producing weapons and

also a lot of their conventional military. And then we made it harder for them to rebuild that nuclear program. But when you ask, when will this end? You're asking me a question, like, when will the Iranians stop shooting at ships? I think the reality is, I don't know the answer to that question. You would have to ask the Iranians. When will the Iranians shooting at ships stop having an effect on world energy markets? And the answer is it has less effect day by day. So what we're going to do is not depend on the Iranians behaving responsibly or negotiating in good faith. What we're going to do is use the tools that we have at our disposal to ensure that the American people, one, never have to deal with the threat of an Iranian nuclear program. And two, that world energy markets are properly supplied. Okay, so that was fair, but she didn't just let it rest there. She had to dig at him further. And out of that, ask him, so are you basically saying that Iran gets to say when the war ends? That was how that's where she went based on that answer.

And it's very hard to hear. You only hear the tail end of that question, but you will hear his response to that. Here it is. Well, if the Iranians keep on shooting at commercial ships, again, we have, I think, a responsibility, but certainly the only ones with the capability to ensure that the Iranians are not destroying world energy markets. And our attitude is we're not going to set an artificial timeline because let's just say hypothetically, let's say I told you three months, say I told you three days, okay? And then the Iranians start blowing up oil and gas ships. And the United States is the only country with the capability to ensure that those oil and gas ships get to market. Well, what I would say is it would be irresponsible for us to write out our strategy and our timeline for an Iranian nation that simply cannot honor its commitments and cannot stop shooting at commercial ships. Nicely handled, my thought.

Yeah, I mean, yeah, he handled that stuff, okay, yesterday. Yeah, there's another stuff that he did not handle as well, which we will obviously get to. But there was a question from Peter Ducey about his weight loss because JD is looking pretty fit lately. And so Peter has the kids would say he's looking snatched. So Peter wanted to ask if he is using secretary Kennedys Sauer-Crowt diet. There is that exchange. You've lost a ton of weight lately. How much Sauer-Crowt do you eat in a day? Oh, my lord. So I'll tell you a little story, Peter. So every lent, I try to like, you know, I'm a devout Christian. I try to take it very seriously. So I try to do some kind of self-denial. And so I was talking to my wife on Fat Tuesday, Marty Girl, and I was like, I think I'm going to give up sugar and I think I'm going to give up social media, okay? So if I wanted to tweet something, I'd tell these guys to tweet something for me and

I'd, you know, otherwise try to stay off social media. So I call Bobby Kennedy. And I'm like, I know you're really into health. I'm thinking about giving up sugar. What do you think? And Bobby Kennedy says, no, no, no, no. I've got something that's way better than that and way more intense. And basically it's like, yeah, I eat a lot of high protein stuff and I eat a lot of Sauer-Crowt. And let's just say that if that was Fat Tuesday, Fat Wednesday never came. So my advice to you is that if you want to lose weight, call Bobby Kennedy. And if you want to enjoy what you eat, do not call Bobby Kennedy. I love the second part. If you want to enjoy what you do, do not call Bobby Kennedy. Right. So remember going back to when there was the whole pop-tart story with Marco and so, and he was talking about, in his interview with Stephen Miller's wife, he was talking about how Kennedy's such a stickler about the Sauer-Crowt and he could never. And so after JD's presser yesterday, Secretary Kennedy tweeted and this tweet in the photo,

saying, join the party, Secretary Rubio and there he is in the background. That's what I'm talking about. Pop-tart. Oh my God. I love that. This is like one of the great things about AI. Right. It's never able to do these. I'm sorry, admittedly, I've never liked Sauer-Crowt. I do not like it either. Not. I'm sorry. I could not do a diet. And not partially. And not partially German. You think I would like it, but not a fan. So yes, you mentioned that there were some questions. One in particular that JD Vance did not handle spectacularly well and it was, and credit to the reporter, I don't actually know who it is, but a reporter asked the question about Tucker and said, listen, people are starting to think that you are hiding from having this discussion. What would you say to the people that have concerns about your relationship with him, Tucker's extreme views, et cetera, et cetera? And here is how he chose to answer that question. So, Tucker Carlson has called for the President's impeachment.

I think he was trying to jeopardize US presidential relations. What do you say to those who are uneasy with your close relationship with Carlson and claim that you're avoiding addressing a lot of these issues which may be causing divisions within the GOP? Well, look, I'm not avoiding addressing anything. Everybody knows that Tucker Carlson and I are friends. And I think it's very obvious that Tucker has said some things that I disagree with. He said some things about the President of the United States that I think are just wrong. I think yesterday somebody sent me a clip that said that he would support El Saiyad of a Rogers. I think El Saiyad is a crazy person. And I think whatever your views on micro-oger specific policy prescriptions, I'd like to have a non-crazy person like Mike Rogers representing Michigan and the United States Senate rather than a crazy person like El Saiyad. That said, my attitude towards this, and I try to practice what I preach. And I remember when I became the Vice President's nominee, one of the hardest things for me personally is not when people attacked me, but when people attacked my wife, including friends of hers

who knew her heart, who knew what a good person she was. And I remember thinking to myself, what a travesty it is that in the United States of America, we let political disagreements define who our friends are going to be and not going to be. So yeah, Tucker is a friend of mine. Tucker is a friend, despite the fact that we disagree on a number of things. And I'm not going to play the game where I throw friends under the bus because I have political disagreements with him. I think that is a terrible place for the United States to go. And if you have a disagreement with somebody politically, even over a deeply held issue, you could still be friends with that person because the whole republic depends on people of different perspectives, being able to talk to one another. That's how I try to live my life and I encourage everybody else to do the same. All right. I mean, I appreciate the sentiment because we lived during a time where people could actually do that. But now they can't. And it's like, Tucker Carlson actually said that Donald Trump should be impeached, like immediately removed from office if there's a nuclear weapon, blah, blah, blah.

Like he hates him now. He called him the anti-Christ. Right. He called thank you. He did. He called him the anti-Christ. So if he is removed, did you find it pretty interesting? It's awfully convenient for Vance that if Trump is removed, who's the president going to be? You know what I mean? And so I just, I appreciate the fact that Trump can say the uncomfortable things. You know? And it's like, I think people don't like that because they don't want to be uncomfortable. But Vance has got to get a thicker skin. It's okay to say, okay, I, listen, I'm so friends with this person. Like if you became demon-possessed, Mark, I would be like, I love you, but there's a demon in you, girl. And like you're saying some crazy shit. And I would say that. I would say it because I love you and it's, and I'm being honest. I don't think he's being honest. That's the thing. I don't think anybody really... Yeah, that's exactly right. Because nobody really understands the reason this keeps coming up is because JD Vance

will not actually express a position about some of the crazy shit that Tucker is saying. And that's the problem. He's acting as though everybody's screaming for him to end his friendship when literally nobody has done that. We have questions about how you are friends with someone who is so diabolical about the very administration that you are in. Exactly. And so like, how do you, why can you not address some of the, like obviously anti-Semitic things that Tucker has said? Why can you not directly address some of the issues and why are you pretending that we're all calling for you to like break up with him? That's not what's happening. And so there's been a lot of reaction to how he answered that question. We have commentary from Dana Lash who said accountability is a healthy trait in friendship. Right. If your friends views matter enough to negatively impact law and society, then they matter enough to judge that friend's character.

These aren't minor differences, folks. Tribalizing this as a mere disagreement hides the real impact. We're talking about control of Congress, scotus, national security, second amendment rights here. Like, I disagree with the way that we text people. Like, that's not what this is about. I think that is such a, I love that she made the point about accountability. Yeah. Because I mean, like, I know you've done this and I've had friends in the past who were doing shady stuff. And because I love them, I'm like, you know what? I'm out. If you're not going to shape up and figure out your crap, we're not doing this. We're not doing this friendship thing because I can't be around this. And you know what? They shaped up. Like that's, that is friendship. Like you hold people accountable because you love them. That's what you do. That is a good relationship. She's absolutely 150% correct. And you know who actually says and does the things is Marco Rubio. Like he gets that. He'll just say it. He's not afraid.

He's not going to pussy foot around and be like, oh my God, I'm afraid of what this person is going to think of me. Or I have to toe the line or I have to make sure everybody's happy. No. No. Part of that is I think it's because he's a Gen Xer. And that's just how we operate. You know what I mean? It's because we understand there is accountability there. And sometimes when you hold people to that standard, they rise up to it. No figure. All we want is to actually know where JD stands on some of this stuff. Right. And the fact that we don't know is a huge, huge problem. And he just keeps dancing around it. So I love this suggestion from Jackie Shea, who said if I were JD Vance and Tucker Carlson was actually my friend, this is what I would say to him. Look, you've had no qualms about going full force against the administration. We might be buddies, but you are a political opponent at this point. Right. I'll see you at Thanksgiving. We can have a good laugh, but expect me to go just as hard against you when I'm speaking in public as you are going against my party and administration.

100%. It's his responsibility to do that. And I don't know why he's so afraid of freaking Tucker. Yeah. And if he's afraid of Tucker, you think he's going to make a good president when there are people. There are people that want to annihilate the United States of America. The answer is hell no. That is the answer. It gets weak and we cannot have somebody in charge of this country that is unable to go against Tucker Carlson. Right. Come on. Because the loyalty clearly only goes one way. Right. And the party's going to be a good defense would see that pretty plainly at this point. And he does not. E.L. Yucobie saying Tucker Carlson saying, I disagree with Trump's decision to strike a ran. Here's why is a political disagreement. Tucker Carlson saying Trump is the anti-Christ is not a political disagreement. Hope this helps. I mean, it does not get more plain than that. This is not hard. This really isn't hard. So I mean, I just, I hate it. It's so disappointing.

I hate it. I really want to like him. I really want to be, I want to root for him. Me too. Because he is not making it easy 100%, Mark. See, he is very likable and he is competent. But on this issue, he is pissing me off. Totally. And I love how Andrew Clayvin put it. He said, I don't hate JD Vance. I want to like him. Yeah. But this seems to me an old Obamacric boldly rejecting a position that few people are actually taking. I don't care if the VP is friends with Tucker. I have plenty of nutty friends. But Carlson has accused the US of waging war on Russia because Putin is reimposing Christianity there. Putin, meanwhile, just gave his full support to Iran, which pledges to destroy the US. Exactly. Tucker hates Jews so much that he backs America's enemies because he fantasizes that the Jews somehow control the US. Be friends with them all you want, JD. But could you be clear about where you stand on this and socialism and constitutional liberty? Because I actually no longer know.

Amen. Amen. That is the problem. Yeah, it is the problem. And it's perfectly stated. And it's condescending to act like that's not the problem. Yeah. Because some of us understand what the problem is. And I don't know what JD is going. Right. He's going. I know. It's making me crazy. If now it's just irritating me. Yeah. You guys, if you want to know how Daisy's skin blows the way it does, I know the secret. And it comes from Jones Road Beauty. I mean, some of it is lighting, but I also, you guys, I love makeup too. I do love makeup. I've always been a girly girl like that. But as I get older, I love makeup that makes me look like I'm not wearing a lot of makeup. You know what I mean? I don't leave the house without makeup on. Mark will do that because she can't totally do naturally gorgeous. I don't have to worry. I just don't care. But I am so into bombs and products that make me look better so I don't look like I'm wearing a bunch of crap on my face as much as I'm enhancing what God gave me. So I was super stoked when Jones Road Beauty was like, Hey, we want to sponsor you guys.

Because I already used their stuff. I used the miracle bomb and I used their eyeliner. They have potted eyeliners, ladies. So good. The miracle bomb is like that effortless, your skin, but better look. And it simplifies your routine and it's fresh and it's dewy. And beautiful. And some of you older women know who Bobby Brown is. You know, Bobby Brown is. She's like that famous makeup artist from the the 90s, the 80s and the 90s. She's 69 years old now. She founded this company in 2020. She's awesome. She understands mature skin and what makes it look amazing. And this line of products is chef's kiss y'all. So great. The miracle bomb you can use is like a highlighter, a blush, a lip tint. It's universally awesome. You use it everywhere. It's so great. And it has all sorts of wonderful ingredients in it. It's all natural and awesome. They have great foundation. They have great everything. So check out their site. Kimberly. Kimberly says it makes me sexy at 67. I love them. It's 50 stick. And so yeah, the hippie state. Right. They have great, great stuff. We just love it, especially women are age, but women of all ages will love it too.

So for a limited time, our listeners are getting a free full size mascara on their first purchase. And they use code chicks beauty at checkout. So head to jonesroad beauty.com. Use code chicks beauty at checkout and then tell them that you heard about them from us. Do that. And the mascara is the curly wand. You guys, she loves that. I love me. I love that. And you guys, they're eyeliners. They have potted eyeliners. They're so creamy and they go on. They're just fantastic. Love, love, love them. Yes. Check that out. Do it. Okay. Man, there was some crazy stuff at the Clancy courthouse yesterday. We're going to get into that in just a second. But interesting tidbit that was going around on socials. And that is that this could make the Clancy cold less happy, considering that many of them are liberals. Unfortunately, there are conservatives in there too. But based on Kevin Reddington's tweets, he appears to be conservative.

And not at all, a fan of Obama, Kenzinger, the Clintons, rumor has it that he is a Trump supporter. And so I don't know how that's going to square for a lot of the Clancy cult. That's a disappointment. It is a disappointment. I would rather he's not, I would rather not have him on our team, frankly. Really, rather than be on the other side. But okay. Yeah. But I thought that that was interesting. And then also, maybe I am just late to knowing this, but I had no idea that Patrick Clancy's current wife is expecting. And I'm just so happy for him that that is the case. I am too. But yeah, he was spotted walking in Manhattan this past Wednesday with his wife. They just got married in April. And people were mad. People were mad about this because they believe that he, three years after the murder of his children, should still be in the courtroom every day, that he should, I don't know, he should be in the house. He should be in the house that they lived in. Yeah. Literally, like freeze and time and stay there forever.

Why would he do that? And not ever be seen smiling. God forbid that he actually have any joy in his life right now. He needs to be in constant mourning for the rest of his days. And that's that. And why wouldn't he move on? Why wouldn't he get out of that house where his next wife murdered his kids? Like why would, is he supposed to just sit in that house forever and rot and think about that? Like these women are certifiably insane. They are absolutely nuts. Absolutely. And they truly hate men. Like we're seeing a hatred of men that is of a level I've not seen in the 17 years we've been doing this, the hatred. Like he's supposed to suffer somehow. What did he do? He didn't kill the kids. You know, so I just, I'm looking at this and I'm like, you cray. It's been three years. What is he supposed to do? I'm happy for him too. Yeah. I know this. And so I was just like, oh man, that's so, that's so great. And I hope they have a great time. I hope they have a lot of joy in their marriage. I wish that for him.

Unfortunately, the bad shittery is, as you know, off the charts. And Kevin Reddington walked into the courtroom yesterday with like stacks of fan mail for Lindsay. I mean, you can see him carrying this box. And he showed reporters the stack of letters that he said he was bringing for Clancy from all over the world, calling the response to her amazing. He said you could name a country and he's got mail from them. He said that Lindsay reads all of them, but keeps them private and that he has never had a client draw this much support. Isn't that disgusting? It is. I mean, this is the OJ case for just white mental women. That's what it is. It's just what a bunch of stupid white women. That's what it is. They're all just rabid and they're loons. It's crazy, man. So then yesterday, we saw that the jury was coming back and that they had another note.

This is their, I guess, third note overall in the number of days that they've been deliberating. And so people were like, oh my god, what does this mean? Are they going to say that they're deadlocked again? And essentially, we found out through this note that there was a holdout that they were complaining that there is one holdout and that this juror has allegedly admitted that they cannot apply the law on reasonable doubt. And things kind of exploded in the courtroom when this note was shared to the extent that it was shared by the judge with the entire courtroom. And Kevin Reddington then demanded that this juror be replaced with one of the alternates. And here is what he said in that moment. Court has an instruction from the four person of that juror that's been working for a week now, saying that there's one juror who refuses to listen to the law that you've given him or her on reasonable doubt.

And I suggest respectfully that the soft instruction that you gave them saying at the sidebar, can you listen to the law as I instruct you? It does not focus on the issue. It is the question is not sufficient enough. It does not allow any foundation for emotion to remove the juror who refuses to accept your instructions on the law on reasonable doubt. And if we come back here in a half an hour with a mistrial because of a juror that has just spurring the instructions of this court, it's a shame. It's a real shame. So the prosecution responded and said, we don't want that. That's not how this is supposed to work. You're not supposed to just remove a juror because they can't get to agreement. I mean, if they're holding their own based on their commitment to whatever they believe the truth is, you can't replace them for that. That's just what happens in juries.

And so the judge agreed with the prosecution and said, no, we're not going to replace the jury. And then he instructed the jury to go back and deliberate some more. And figure it out. So that was crazy. You are texting and my sister was texting me at the same time going, I can't believe there's some holdout, Lindsey supporter on, you know, that everybody wants to convict and use this one holdout. And I was like, I don't think that's right. I think it's the opposite. Right. But the truth of the matter is that we don't know. We genuinely have no idea if I was one person saying I want to convict and then there's 11 people saying insanity or the opposite is true. She's supposed to be the optimist. And I just don't think it's, I think it's 11 crazy people are saying she is not guilty by reason of insanity. And there's one holdout. Yeah. But I was hoping it was just one person who wanted to let this crazy bitch off. So I don't know. We got somebody in our comment saying that we've lost our credibility because we haven't

watched that trial. Okay. My God. I don't know if you're aware of this, but she killed three innocent children and it made it out. And they've had three years to come up with the case against Patrick if he did it. And you know what? They haven't done that. So anyway, oh my gosh. So anyway, this is crazy. This is there are so many things that have gone wrong in this trial that at this point, even if there was a verdict, which I highly doubt, I don't think they're going to come back today in a half an hour and decide, oh, okay, we all agree now. There's just, I just don't see that happening. But if there is a verdict and for some strange reason, God willing, it is a guilty verdict, it will be appealed and there will be a lot of reason, valid reason to appeal it based on all the technicalities that have been just, everything has been so crazy. Outside the courtroom, reporters caught up with Kevin Reddington and asked more questions

about this one juror and here is what he said. So the juror has been identified by the note from the floor. And there will be an inquiry by the judge. Tomorrow at nine o'clock, I don't know what his question is going to have an argument about it. I don't think it will be at the side by, I think it will be an open court, which is my concern that we have arguments in open court at the side by. So I expect that, and that's B-A-R, not B-A-H, okay? And what is it, is it one person versus all the rest? Is this one person versus all the rest in the jury? Is it one person holding this up? That's, you've heard the question. That's basically that there's a person who has doubt but will not listen to the judge's instruction. Has everybody else agreed with, do we, do we know where, do you like the only guy? No, I'm just allowed. I'm from, I'm from Brockton. So, my last question, I'll be quiet. Is the one person, is, they tell you that all the rest of the jurors are going one way

of the other, do they tell you that? They don't tell me, okay, it's just a note that they don't tell you. Do you want a new juror or do you want to mistrial? I don't want to mistrial. Why would I want to mistrial? Did you want that to put a new kid? Get the shit out of the case. I don't want to mistrial it back up. That guy, he's just, he's, he's, you guys, this is crazy. He's like, yeah. That he's calling out the juror that way is freaking bananas. Matt Walsh commenting on this saying, the defense attorney is now running a public pressure campaign against a juror. This is insane. It is totally unprecedented. They're going to burn the whole system down for the sake of letting a woman get away with triple homicide, sickening, he said. And I don't disagree. Yeah, all of the jurors are going to be how and did after this. Oh, I can't even imagine. They won't get a moment's rest. Did you say that there was a pregnant woman on the, somebody told me there was a pregnant woman on the jury? I have no idea.

It may have been my daughter-in-law because she's been following this case like, oh my God, she's one of the, I watched every second of it kind of people. And she's, I think she told me that there was a pregnant, which I don't know how you could do that. Like, I would, I would not have even been picked for this jury. Yeah, that's the way I'd be picked. I just, I would have been that person. I would have been like, oh, this crazy biot just guilty. You don't kill your kids, period. I don't care how psychotic you think you are. I don't care. If you kill them, you kill them and you go to jail. That's how I feel about it. And also, there's some person in our audience that said, I hope your daughters don't ever acquire postpartum psychosis. Yeah, I hope so too. That, I don't know what you're, what is that supposed to mean? What is, you think all of our daughters are going to like kill their kids? This is like the, the links people will go to to rationalize the, this woman taking exercise bands and sing just single handedly going through methodically and strangling her three

kids. I, I'll pray for you, the flip her three one six two. Oh my God, the fat lord and justify it. I know it's gross. Great. And then bring my daughters into it. Maybe go check yourself and check your heart. Oh my God. Good lord. What in the world? So there was a great skit done by, I think it's, they go by read Choi on all the socials and they're having a conversation between all the crazy women who are like, they're postpartum, just like this idiot in the comments. Nothing about this with any given man. And here's what it looked like. You don't understand what it's like to be a woman who is hormonal. There needs to be empathy and she shouldn't be held liable for any criminal behavior. I, precisely, I could not have summed it up better myself. Who are you? We are all the men ever before the 20th century. Oh, no, you treated women as second class citizens. What I'm saying is that because women are hormonal deemed incapable of self governance

and therefore requires a male shopper on that can protect and guide the weak of sex. Right. You know, that's so sexist, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying because of our hormones. Yes, because your hormones should become incapacitated and capable of making rational decisions and your emotions become to control you like a child. And women should not be held accountable during such feats. That's just precisely what I'm saying. It will stop saying what I was going to say like it was your point. I'm just saying that this woman should be in prison. She should be put in a mental asylum. Yes, because women are not criminals. They're hormones dictate their very lives. They are slaves to their emotions. And so they cannot choose. They are forced to do whatever they feel because they are children in cable over controlling their emotions. Right. We agree that I just FF feminism. Yeah. Yeah, all this. You can't have it all the ways. You can't. Picking ladies. Pick Elaine. Oh my God. How is this like even a hard because they're gone? I can't believe there's argument about it.

You know what I mean? It's just I know. It's mind blowing to me. We avoided talking about this case for a while. And then when we started talking about it, it's like, well, words can open. Here we are. Oh, man, women, you guys. I know, right? Women. Uh-huh. Speaking of which, thank God for honey love because women need bras. And we also sometimes need shapewear. Let's get real. We do. Sometimes we do. We got to hold the bits and pieces in, ladies. All right. Just like just suck it in. And I'm at the age where if I'm wearing shapewear, I wanted to do its job, like smooth, sports, stay everything. Everything needs to stay in place. Like just bring it in. You know what I mean? But I want to be able to breathe. Okay. I want to be able to I don't want to feel like I'm in a sausage. Like I'm that's I hate that. And that's why I like honey love because it's designed to support you. And it doesn't squeeze or restrict. It just it's like compression that works with your body and doesn't fight against it.

It doesn't pull or roll. You're not constantly having to, you know, when you go out and you wear that stuff, you're constantly having to move it and adjust it. You don't have to do that with honey love. It just stays in place and it moves with you. So it's great. And it's not about changing your body. It's about supporting the body that you have and feeling confident what you're wearing, which is great. Plus they use high quality everything. The fabrics are beautiful. They have great bras, you guys. Like the best. I love their bras. They have the kind that cover like that part that gets all back fat. Back fat. Like the armpit back fatty area. Yeah. We're talking about ladies. Yeah. It's like they have all that into. Yeah. It's all soft. Like super soft material. It's breathable, supportive. I love their crossover contour bra, which is fantastic. And then their cloud embrace bra, which is like great under t-shirts. It's so good. And none of it has like that weird underwire. It's all just and it's pretty. They have really, really pretty stuff. It was founded by females.

They actually understand your body. So they produce wonderful, wonderful bras and shapewear. Check them out. Save 20% off. Honey love at honey love.com slash chicks. And when they go, Hey, where did you hear about us? Tell them that you heard about them from the chicks on the right. Do it. Do it. So semi related, but not I guess to this entire story is just sort of this other amazing story out of Virginia about a mom who got a six month suspended jail sentence for letting her five year old walk to the pond. So this mom eight months pregnant. She took a bike ride with her son or five year old son in their gated community that they walked around a million times. And then once they got back home, he said, can I go out again? Can I go walk to get some more feathers from the grass that's near their goose pond. And she said, yes, because he knows his way around. It's a safe community. She's watched him cross the streets a billion times.

But then someone saw the boy unsupervised, called security, cop show up. The caseworkers put her on a child abuse and neglect. Unbelievable. For seven years, the cops charge her with, quote, contributing to the delinquency of a minor judge finds her guilty. And we can't get a woman who killed three kids in prison. Yeah. Make this make sense. Yeah, this is our American judicial. She should have just said the voices told me to do it. And then that would have been fine, right? That's all she needed to do. She was just feeling some sort of way because of her hormones that day, right? She just felt that way. And so you know hormones. Right. And this is the thing. She was just experiencing like pregnancy psychosis. So let her go. What's the problem here? I everything is so messed up right now. So bored. Oh my gosh. Anyway, moving on, we've got a whole bunch of random headlines that we need to throw

at you. And we're going to start with this crazy story out of Missouri. Please read Trump's tweet about it. The Missouri Supreme Court just ridiculously ruled in favor of changing the maps back to what they were a long time ago. It's called ancient history. The problem is, according to legal scholars, that not only was the ruling horrible, ridiculous and unconstitutional, but there won't be enough time to change the map back with the election coming up in a very short period of time. The election process, as usual, is being disturbed in America. Missouri must be able to use the map that was in effect just a couple months ago in the primary. This is a dark day for justice in Missouri. Thank you for your attention. It's a matter. This is crazy because they just had a primary with the new maps drawn. And so they voted like 1.2 million people voted based on these maps. And now their state supreme court is like, those maps are no good. So we're going to change them back. And so now what? Like the primary has already happened. So they're going to use different maps in the general.

That makes no sense. So Trump is obviously, they're, you know, they're taking this to the Supreme Court because this is absolute madness. They can't. This makes no sense. I don't even know how this is going to work. They're there. It doesn't need to make sense. I guess not. It does voting in America. Oh my god. Yeah. Yeah. This is absolutely insane. It is. It is. Insane. In other news, this is a piece of good news. Trump has cut the migrant population by nearly 3 million. OK. So this, that's kind of stuff. All right. We got about 17 million to go. Right. We've got a ways. This is significant. It's a nice start. But I still want to see more deported. Yes, please. All the deportation. All of them. In other good news, we also have Elon stepping up. With his pack, they are now starting to spend some money in some key races, including the Michigan race, including Ken Paxton's race in Texas.

Thank God. This is now, obviously, everything's picking up in September. Now that we're just a couple months away from the election, the first drop is going to be 800 grand. There will be a lot more. And so this is great that his pack is starting to spend some money. Gotta love that. Yeah. And it's needed in Texas. Because I'm not seeing half as many of the Republican ads and whatnot as I am the Democrats. And so, and he has a vested interest in Texas because he's got a lot of crap here. I mean, I lived 12 minutes away from SpaceX. And then he's got stuff in Austin. I mean, Austin is becoming Elon land. So he is building a bunch of stuff in Texas. He has an interest here. So I'm glad that he's putting his money where his interests are. Yeah. For sure. Also, Trump tweeted about his anger once again at the media and how they spin everything that's going on with Iran. And please read what he wrote right here. For the treasonous scum that refuses to accurately report on our military operation in Iran,

we have virtually unlimited amounts of mid to high grade ammunition far more than we get ever used for this or for any other war, which is highly unlikely. That could probably take place. In addition, we are producing munitions at levels never seen before. We are stockpiling and preparing for any contingency that could happen. We are taking them for ourselves, the USA, rather than selling them to others, but sales to allies will soon again begin. Also, please let it be known that the Biden administration gave far more munitions away to Ukraine at no cost to them. What's so ever than we have used in Iran? Hundreds of billions of dollars was given to Ukraine and NATO free of charge that Europe would have paid for if they were only asked. But we will be asking for that money, though somewhat belatedly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Yeah, it's of course no one. People aren't reporting this, of course not. Why would they? And they're trying to doomsday everything they can doomsday about this conflict instead of focusing on the winds. And Trump also had a follow-up tweet saying the people and media outlets that keep harping on the fact

that we have no ammunition and they are 100% wrong are actually treasonous. They do it because they'd rather see the US lose a war that we're easily winning than see me win, which is 100% true. And Ben Shapiro took it a little further saying the actual traders are the people in government positions leaking classified information to the members of the media, investigate, arrest, and imprison. Yeah, and Vinnie 9192, great question. How many munitions were left in Afghanistan? Mm, yeah. No one ever talks about that anymore. Yep. And speaking of Ben Shapiro, he took Tucker to task yesterday because Tucker, as much as he likes to say, I don't even think about Ben Shapiro, who's even Ben Shapiro? Whatever that means, that's what he's constantly saying about Ben Shapiro and then he's constantly talking about Ben Shapiro. And he made a couple more ridiculous accusations that Ben responded to. The first being, well, the first was about, I guess he's mad that Calci is a sponsor

of the Ben Shapiro show. And so Ben wrote, apparently Tucker's upset, that Calci is one of our sponsors. Tucker Carlson's funders at 1789 Capital, led by his friend, Omeed Malik, just led a $1 billion investment round in polymarket. Weird. Yeah. This is weird. It is. So weird. So weird. So weird. And then he just like outright lies and made the most ridiculous accusation about Ben Shapiro somehow being in favor of porn. Oh my God. Ben wrote, also, Tucker said last night, again, that I am somehow pro pornography. Here's the cover of a book I wrote in 2005, when I was 21, ripping into pornography and labeling it perhaps the greatest danger to America. And here's Tucker in Romania, circle jerking, an actual pornographer. Oh my God. So what is Tucker's problem? And that's, well, we know, the demon, right? Yeah.

And this is the thing. What was Ben doing at 21, writing a book about the perils of pornography? Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson was like a Trinity college and his little bow tie probably like living it up on his trust fund money. Like to get Ben, dude. And Jackie Shay, once again, with a great tweet on this specific issue, the pornography issue, she said when Tucker says that Ben is pro pornography, at first it seems puzzling. Ben is the family values guy, the Orthodox Jew. But that's what it's about. Ben is a Jew. Totally. The Jews caused pornography is a really gross trope that is all over the dark corners of the internet. Tucker recycles anti-Semitic talking points as easily as he breathes these days. It's just so lazy. So right. It's like, I hate lazyness. Yeah. It really is at this point he is. He's just being lazy. It's ridiculous.

Do you remember yesterday when we showed that clip of chunk yogurt's chair breaking in the middle of a fight that he was having? No. It's the Jew chair. You guys, somebody made it into a gift and I just cannot stop playing it like back to back to back to back to back to back. Because it just looks so funny. We got to do that again. Do it again. Please do it again. So good. It goes way too fast. But it's like, there he goes. Is that going to let it go? Let's go. I'm going that's unfortunate. We really do hate the Jews. We really do hate the Jews. Bad timing there. So chunks trying to make light of it. He means trying to be a good sport about it, I guess. And he tweeted at Pierce Morgan, why did my chair break during Pierce? Obviously Israel. To be fair, they were promised that chair 3,000 years ago. And the rabbi wrote back and was like, your chair broke because you weigh 300 pounds. That I just love that so much.

This is the reason for the internet right here. This is why the only reason I stay on it, you guys. This is why it's so good. OK, now we have to talk about you, Bernie. Why? Who are? It's Friday. I have four homes. You are. Sometimes it's like he forgets that there's a whole other world outside of America that has to be contended with. And so here he is. Now he's proposed new legislation to pause AI, which is not possible. So he's saying the leaders of mean. And well, exactly. He said the leaders of the AI industry acknowledge that they're building a dangerous technology that they can't control. We need an immediate global pause on advanced AI development

before it's too late. That's why I'm introducing legislation to do just that. Because I guess he thinks that legislation that he proposes is going to be adhered to by China. That is going to be China that is like, oh, OK, America has introduced a bill. Well, then we're going to back off on all of our. It's just a stop. It's a button. It's just a button. And you push the button and it'll stop. He's such a moron. Maybe we'll get Hassan Pica to do it. I'm like, oh, push the button. Like when this guy is retarded, he was old and retarded. I mean, he's not. Oh, my God. I'm introducing legislation to stop AI. He's going to take the keys away from Uncle Bernie. Yeah. He's out of control. He's going to be like, man, responded to this saying, would Bernie prefer our enemies to get to super intelligence before we do? Who votes for this guy? We know about to this guy. Is that my God?

Oh, I just, I don't know. He's a streamer. He's a streamer. I can't believe this up, you guys. And these people are so stupid. These are world, I need a weekend. I need a long weekend. I just, I do. I'm going to, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to stare at the wall the whole weekend. Because I just, I can't. I missed the 80s. I missed the 80s, you guys. We're going to talk about that. I'm sure in just a little bit. We are. But first we have to show you, because this is real. This is from not the B, which means it's a real truthful story and not satire. This is real. There was a Spanish gay couple who have said that they will immediately see the asylum in Gaza. And conservatives take over. Oh my God, conservatives. This is real. They were interviewed. I'm not going to play the interview because it's actually in Spanish. Oh my God, I can't. But they did say if the far right wins the next election, they will seek asylum in Palestine because they consider it to be the most progressive place on Earth.

I then I say, this is real. This is real. You go. You go girls. You get them in Gaza. You go in there. Just draped in your pride flags. I love it. These people are so stupid. There's another example, a guy by the name of Owen, a gay man tweeted as a gay man. I'm beyond repulsed by the idea that I should choose whether to oppose a civilian being killed based on their attitudes towards LGBTQ plus people. Does that involve children, toddlers, and babies? Speak to queer Palestinians and learn some humanity. And so a Palestinian wrote back and was like, there is no LGBTQ and Gaza Owen. We worship Allah alone and our religion is Islam. It's like they tell you exactly who they are and the queer people are like, but I'm sure they don't mean me. I mean, what's wrong with these idiots? Oh my God. And I can't. I'll just say, at this point, I'm just down with it. You just go. You just like liberal women, gay people, like you be all for palette,

be down to clown with Palestine. We'll be over here. Just watch it. We'll be over here. Dispectator sport at this point. That's what it is. Oh my God. People out there. They're just so dumb. So dumb. So dumb. Also, this is apropos of absolutely nothing that we're talking about. But I wanted to make sure that we included it. Remember when NS Freedom Cantor got kicked out of the game for the T-shirt? Yes. He's suing in federal court. Good. He's taking legal action over his ejection from the Chicago sky game while peacefully exercising his First Amendment rights. My T-shirt did what the whole WNBA apparently couldn't define a woman. No threats, no violence, just biology. And somehow that required a security escort. You don't have to agree with my speech, but you don't get to silence me for it. I will not be intimidated. I will not be silenced and I will continue to stand for women and defend free speech. I love it. I think it's fantastic. You have all these crazy beaches out there going, man, can't have a say in the Lindsey

Clancy case because they've never given birth. Okay. So you're saying that men and women are different. Huh? What? I picked a lane. I just, yeah. Welcome to the pretzel. That's exactly. You've tied yourself into it. And you do it over and over and over again. I hope that he takes, I mean, I hope that case just goes way up to the Supreme Court. You know, we all get to see it. I hope all of that is televised too. Yeah, that'd be good stuff. Good, good stuff. All right. We're going to talk about some just some crazy people and crazy things here in this next segment. Unfortunately, as we've told you, I mean, not unfortunately, but the TPSA has decided to have Charlie's memorial celebration at UVU. And which is, you know, appropriate, people do question the choice. But it's up to them to choose how they want to honor Charlie. And that is what they chose. And so naturally, we already have lefty clubs at UVU who are preparing protests against

the memorial event. And there are flyers that are floating around claiming that Charlie Kirk was against UVU values. And that students will demand that the views of Charlie Kirk are not on campus. Okay. So their values are basically anti-first amendment free speech. That's their value. That's their value. These people are great. These kids are gross. You know what the parents should be ashamed of themselves for raising little jerks. It's so gross. To me, this is like Westboro Baptist Church, you know, doing all the protests at funerals. But can you just not, for a day, be disgusting? Right. Exactly. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Yeah. And your parents should be ashamed. You have raised evil trolls. Mm-hmm. It's just, it's so gross, absolutely disgusting. And speaking of which, we're not going to get into a lot of Candace today except to mock her for not being able to say a new word. And I believe this is from her show last night.

I'm not 100% certain. But apparently she's got some new theories. Remember that the message, not tweet, but message that Andrew Wilson released on that debate with her. Right. And this was like breaking and it was like Charlie saying I'm afraid the left is going to kill me. Yeah. She's apparently got like a whole new theory about him sending that message while he was in a Zoom call talking about how bad Israel is. But I don't know. We're not going to get into that because I don't even. So she tried to tie it to Israel is what you're saying. She tried to ultimately tie it to Israel because of course. Yeah. And she's still trying to say even though he clearly said, I'm afraid the left is going to kill me. She's now claiming that that must be fake or not. Whatever. I just want to make fun of her because she doesn't know how to say the word, Lausage. So really? You guys, she thinks that she's dead. How does she say? Mm hmm. She's adding letters to it.

I know. It's like it's that's what you say she's no had a pronounce it. I'm like, how do you how do you miss pronounced? How do you miss pronounced? I know, but she does. And I know this is how she genuinely believes it is pronounced because she says it multiple times in like a 25 second period. Look. And when I noticed these laws and jurors on the ground of his car. A lot of little laws and jurors all around. Maybe it looks like perhaps Nate Walker picked them up. We see the bag. It's not an Uber bag. It looks like they went to some sort of a convenience store. I gather that Charlie's throat was hurting him. Laws and jurors ever all littered across the law. Laws and jurors because of the laws and jurors. Re-cola. What? Is she? I just love that. I love that so much. I think people follow her. Yeah. Like she, unironically. Yeah. And to some people, she is like this deity. She is the end all be all. She is the pinnacle of intelligence. She is a retard, you guys.

Absolutely. I'm even laughing. How much more proof you need of it? But there's some other laws and jurors. By the way, the kinds of people that you can expect to see protesting at UVU. I would imagine like when I'm just trying to get out of the car. I would imagine like when I'm just trying to conjure up a visual of what they might look like. I picture the woman that you're about to see. Okay. This happened at the Southern Connecticut State University campus. Some crazy person like assaulted and spit on a Republican. And you're going to see her absolutely freaking out about being at because this Republican triggered her. And so it is the fault of the person who said things calmly that she had this complicate. Meltdown. This is so typical of the left. Check this out. He just kicked me twice. I'm just. I knew I was there. So you kicked me. You maybe said I was there. You just kicked me twice. I'm calling the police. Call the police.

She just assaulted me. She just assaulted me. Get the police over here. She just spit on me. Call the police. You need it. No, you're just assaulted me. I want to speak. You just assaulted me twice. Freedom of me. Freedom of me. Freedom of me. Freedom of me. No, no. They're all over the place. Yeah, call the police, because you just assaulted me twice. I have four witnesses. I'm happy to say I did. You were sitting here. I guess it's also her with it. We were sitting here talking about abortion, and she just kicked me in the live twice. She is crying. Nope, he's calling campus police. They're going to come over, and you're in trouble. You just kicked me. I'm happy to speak for myself. Let me speak for myself. You do or not just assault me? I hate you. It was because you made me upset. So you did. You hit me. I'm a trigger from being me. So first of all, I will be pressing charges. I will be pressing charges. I will be pressing charges. So fucking go ahead, check out. I will. You made me do some of the protests. We were talking. You came over. You came to my table.

God, these men are unhanged. Absolutely insane. Okay, so that was a person on campus, so presumably that's a college student. I guess so. That's a chick in college, you guys that made it into. First of all, we got to hire the standards to get into college. Remember when he used to mean something to get into college, that chick is out. And then second of all, I know that I'm going to get pushed back for this, and I don't care. Conservatives need to understand what a right hook is, and they need to start doing it. Somebody walked up to my daughter, and I've given her full permission. I've always said, you stay out of fights because she's seen on my middle school and high school. Girls, girls will fight. And I always say, if you see people fighting in the halls or whatever, you walk the other way. But the minute that somebody involves you in a fight, or if they come at you, or they hit you, or they lay hands on you in any way, you freaking whale on them. You have my full permission to do that. And Conservatives need to do that. I would have wailed on her, man. But this is a dude who probably could have just been like this to her.

Okay. But he trapped her, and now is going to charge her with the skull. Which is great. And he didn't have to lift a finger to do it. Which I love that. But if it's a woman, like a conservative woman, so many conservative women are like, oh my god, I can't say, you can. You can, and you should. That's all I'm saying. These women are, they're crazy. Look at how she melted down over a conversation. Right. You guys, it's, I just, and I cannot believe this is a college student. Like she probably can't even write in full sentences. You have to see this other one because there's the guy Adam Francisco, who does really good man on the street interviews as well. He, I guess, was trying to, this kind of picks up like midway through a conversation. But apparently he was having an interview with someone who decided midway through that she wasn't comfortable with the questions anymore. He was like, okay, great. By like he was totally willing to just let the conversation end.

Watch how obsessive this woman is. It is beyond crazy. Oh, the man, they got it. Wait a minute. That wasn't it. Is he chicken and biscuits? I don't know. Oh, yeah. It sounds really good. I'm hungry. Okay. You guys like forgot I have this in here. She's like so. I was like, and part chicken and biscuit. I know. But the crazy thing about this video is super quick. And it's like, I don't even know why I stuck it in here because I has nothing to do with anything. Except that you, do you guys ever see or do you ever hear a voice first and then see the person with the voice and you cannot make it make sense because the voice doesn't match the person. Mike Tyson. I mean, Or David Beckham. David Beckham. Totally. Like it just doesn't make sense. This is an example of that. Only it's just, I'm not even to say anymore. Just watch the person whose voice come, I mean, whose voice is talking about the chicken and biscuits or chicken and walk us because it is not what you will expect.

I pulled up in here. Man, they got the right mother fuck for that. Let me tell you some. And I'll be pulling up in a drive through like two to three times a week. Man, if it's a you some baby girl. It's just like, it does not look cute. Like why is she like that way? That she won't make it make sense. She was possessed by like a 1962 blue singer. Like what just happened there? I don't know. And I don't even know why I included that and why it was in that. Oh, we know because this is our show. I know why you included it because welcome to the chicks on the right show. This is what we do. Okay, but like for real. Somebody say that she was dubbed. Maybe that's crazy. No, I feel like she was lip syncing. I don't know. She could have been lip syncing. Yes, she could have been lip syncing. Is that right? Yeah, could have been. I feel like it was a voiceover. Mm-hmm. Oh my gosh. Okay, well then that was incredible. That was like amazing talent.

She's really good. You guys, I don't think I think my video is lost. The one that I like got everybody all psyched up to see. I think it's lost. Wow. Wow. I don't see it in my little mix here. We're all so excited to see it. Can you like reenact it for us? No, I cannot reenact it because it was too crazy. I'm going to just try to find it really fast. Okay. She's going to find it. You guys talk amongst yourselves for a second because it was so, so good. I'm just super excited. I don't think I'm right. We're going to be talking about Ryan Reynolds and I cannot wait to talk about him. I'm going to have to save it for next week. You guys, I'm really, really sorry that I psyched everyone up for a video that I actually don't have. But I'll save it. And then we'll see it next time. Yeah, because we do need to talk about Ryan Reynolds. There's a lot of chitter chatter about Ryan Reynolds right now because of some comments that he made about the best time in the world to grow up, which was the 80s. The 80s. So before you listen to it, I just want you to keep in mind that Ryan Reynolds grew up in Canada.

Okay. He is not even an American or he wasn't until he moved here when he was like 19. He was 19. Yeah, to be an actor. That's when I get here. And he's a dual citizen, but he didn't get his dual citizenship till 2018. So he is a Canadian talking about America in the 80s. And he has no business doing that. He is no business. No business. No. So here he is telling us that the 80s weren't really as great as we thought they were. Interesting about when you get far enough away from time period that's quite distinct. I think there's always a lovely feeling associated with it. It's almost like you pave over all the trauma with like puppy dogs and ice cream. And the 80s was a brutal, brutal time for people. It was a fucking mess. People forget that it was like that was a tremendous strife. Social political tensions everywhere. We're still pretty fresh off like a Cuban missile crisis, which is only like 15, 20 years before. So it's a tumultuous period.

But you look back at it now and you're like, oh yeah, top gun. cocaine. Like no, it was like a really scary. So I think, you know, I think when you look back at 2026 in this era, I think they're gonna like pick on the big ticket items that don't really, didn't really leave the footprint culturally that you would think it would. Like I don't know so much of the odds were like a mix of all the decades previous. Whereas the decades previous were their own things. So I don't know. I wonder what it's gonna be. Maybe it's gonna be like the, oh, the COVID era or something. I have no idea. No, you're probably right. It'll be Rose color glasses. Of course, this, we are living in the friggin' salad days right now. We just don't know it. Oh my God, he is just so wrong on this in every way. He was four to 13 in the 80s in Canada. Hey, I just, it was different in the 80s. It was exponentially better. We talked about this yesterday and we're like, we have to talk about this on the show. Because he's so unbelievably wrong about this.

He has no idea. Like we had news for 30 to 60 minutes a night. That's it. And then everybody, like we didn't have computers in our hands. Remember when we didn't have computers in our hands and we weren't locked into those all day long. We literally had news for like 30 minutes. That's it. And then we shut off the news. And we watched things like, I don't know, silver smash and mash and family ties and growing pains and facts of life and stuff like that and cheers and front all that friends friends was later on. But like, I mean, at night court, I remember night court. I freaking love that show. I just, you guys, I was cleaning a box out yesterday because that we cleaned out our attic. Again, we had to go through some of the stuff in there. And I was telling mock that I found notes from people and middle school and high school written notes. Like that's what we would do. We would pass. Please. Do you guys remember? You guys remember? You remember? The notes that we would pass and they'd fold in.

It's like we did origami without even knowing it. And we would pass those notes to one another. And I kept, oh my God, so many of those notes. And I would read them. I'd be like, oh my gosh, I forgot about this person. And we would write the most intimate, long, drawn out, lovely notes to one another. And it was, we were more intimately connected with one another than we are now. Hands down. Oh my God. I will die on that hill. We were. And it was just a more, I mean, listen, I remember. And even, even though it didn't affect me personally because I was young. And I didn't know like mortgage interest rates. I had no idea what was going on. But I know that they were like in the teens. And that was completely crazy. So it's not like there was, it was idyllic. But in terms of a time period to grow up in. It was. It was. I mean, there was nothing better than that time. And we've got a few tweets to share about this, which I thought were just so great. The first is from Kevin Dahlstrom.

Please read what he wrote. I love this. Ryan Reynolds didn't come. It didn't come. It didn't come a age in the 80s. And he grew up in Canada. So allow me to explain. The 80s isn't a decade. It's an American cultural phenomenon that began in 83 and ended on September 24, 1991. When Nevermind was released. Oh, my God, it's so true. It was a period of unbridled optimism and glorious excess. Just look at the music movies, fashion cars. It was in five. Of course, bad things happen. Bad things always happen. But nobody walked around talking about sociopolitical issues. Algorithms didn't feed us rage bait 24, seven. There wasn't enough technology, but not. There was enough technology, but not too much. There were no cell phones. I have no idea how we got around. We listened to radio. I'm buying. We listened to radio. I'm buying albums on cassettes. We read newspapers. Kids disappeared on their bikes all day. Moles were packed. And local economies thrived. It was the high water mark for human civilization. I will also tell you that I think we peaked as a civilization in like 95.

I think we peaked. I mean, my daughter is 16. And she will say to me because she loves 80s music. And she's like, best music was in your time, mom. Like, did you even know it? We didn't know it. We didn't appreciate it as much as we probably should have at the time. We didn't know we were living in the best time. But like, the music in the movie suck now. Absolutely. Yeah. It was the best time. Glenn Beck also went in saying 80s nostalgia is just paving over trauma with puppy dogs and ice cream. That's what Ryan Reynolds says. He's right. That the 80s were brutal in many ways. Drunk driving, crack, the cold war hanging over the wall. Right. That the 80s were brutal in many ways. Drunk driving, crack, the cold war hanging over our heads. But he's missing why we actually miss it. We don't miss the 80s because it was safe or easy. We want the unity back. Yeah. 106 million people watched the season finale of MASH at the same time. That's right. That doesn't happen anymore. We are argued over the exact same set of facts, not somebody's personal truth.

And we remain friends at the end of the day. We have the humility to check our own biases instead of 30% of the country, pretending to be influencers and an ego driven feedback loop where every disagreement turns into total war. That is what we miss about 80s. It's true. We do. And you know what? It's like kids and now being a mom and having grown up in the 80s, it's like it was before we grew up in a time before reality TV before computers in our hands. That silence equaled imagination. Kids don't have that anymore. They just don't. I mean, they don't allow themselves to ever be bored. Where your imagination is allowed to actually kind of percolate. Right? That's just grab a phone. And you know what adults do it too. I told you it now. If your adults don't like to be bored, they don't like to just sit with the world and think about stuff. They're like, oh my god. Or be in an elevator with the stranger and be forced to talk instead of like, you know what I mean?

Exactly. It's just we've lost so much connection. There's no wonder that we have this loss of humanity because there's less interconnectedness because of phones. Right. And attention spans are lower. Everything. It's like everybody is just just so impatient and intolerant of one another. And I'm not saying intolerant like the liberal way of intolerant. But just like they just they cannot just sit with somebody else's views on things and be like, all right, cool. Whatever. We used to be able to have conversations about politics in the 80s. And I mean, like, look at who is it that? God, Ronald Reagan and like, who is the guy that he was friends with on the other side of the aisle? And they were just like, they were friends. Like they were the guys back in the 80s that were politicians and they were friends with each other. And we saw that. Like we they all piled around with each other. They don't do it now. It's just vicious. It is it's literal just meanness to one another. And we're living in it. We live it every single day.

Right. I mean, people are just tip O'Neill. Thank you. Tip O'Neill. That's who I was trying to think about. And so and they would kind of they were they would razz each other. But at the end of the day, they were nice to one another. Does that make sense? We were just different back then. We were a different species. And there's no going back. It's like you always say the toothpaste is out of the chin. Yeah. And so it used to be that Supreme Court justices would get unanimously appointed and confirmed. Right. I mean, unanimously guys like with 98 to 100 senators would be like, yep, that's the right person for the court. Can you imagine that ever happening again? Ever. Yeah. I mean, I can't. I genuinely can't imagine it. And say everything is done. And you I know you did this too, but you go out. You play your parents would you be out outside with your friends until your your mom like scream for you to come in. It's that isn't heard of now. Now you get arrested. If you let your kid walk by themselves to a as evidently and a gated community.

No less. You get arrested for that. It's insane. Yeah. Dan Bungino also tweeting about this. Whoops. Where did it go? Where did it go? Yes. This dude doesn't know Jack shit about the 80s in America and Jack left town. I was a teenager when the 80s ended and it was an incredible time to be alive. No social media rage farming. The miracle on ice kicked off the decade. Berlin wall and communism came crashing down at the end. Reagan putting up monster GDP growth numbers pre woke MTV Indiana Jones. No men in women's bathrooms. So much more the 80s tore it up. Yeah. Friends don't let friends fall for Hollywood propaganda. God bless America and God bless the 80s. Yeah. Indeed. And enough with the revisionist history. We're not buying it. We are rejecting it. Ryan Reynolds. And what's up with him? Like what is that? Like a little sweatshirt. I don't know what that was. You're not like a part necklace part. Ascot part. I don't even know. I don't know. I don't know what that was. You're not like a part necklace part.

Ascot part. I don't even know. I don't even know. I don't even know. I don't even know. Like quit trying to make that happen. Yeah. That's definitely not going to be something that happens. No. Yeah. It was an email that we got from Mike TIFFT. I think is his name? Yes. Who said, hey, Chicks. I absolutely love your show. I've been watching for about a year now and never miss an episode. I write songs and decided to pen some lyrics about your show. And then I had AI to turn it into a catchy little tune. I hope you enjoy it. God love them. Chicks. And so making it's debut right here on the Chicks on the right show is Mike TIFFT's song. With the help of AI.

I'm not going to get it. We won't get a copyright strike for that. Who would've thought? That was fantastic. I was. Oh my gosh. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I love that we have a song. Actually, super fan said had made us a country AI song. Which is also great. But this one, I don't know. There's something about this one. A little bit more ass. Yeah. Because you know, I don't, I'm not a country girl. Right. But and this one has just got a little twang, but not too much twang. I love it. I freaking love it. Not sure I don't love your song. So we should make it a new opening. I don't know. Our team needs to work on that. Ooh. Somehow incorporate that into the opening. It's fantastic. You guys, I love it. But then would it cover up the mean poached.

I poached I probably would. You know what I mean? It's still so good. I love it. It's such a great. I mean, it's great. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Right. Thank you, Mike. It's so great. I love it. You guys, we hope you're going to have like the safest, most awesome party down weekend. Or not. You can do whatever you want. Because it's America. And it's awesome. That's right. That's right. We're going to be off on Monday. And we're going to miss you. But we'll see you on Tuesday, bright and early. So everybody have a fabulous weekend. Bye. Bye.
