Maria Bartiromo ousted at FOX: Is conservative news seeing a shift?

Certainly some shakeups in media. Maria Baratomo, I could never say her last name.

1:00I've never been able to say her last name. It's just like one of those words that I just can't get out of my mouth, which shame on me because I should be able to, but I just can't say her name. But anyways, Maria is out at Fox News. We're hearing rumblings that she is going to be picked up possibly by 60 minutes and very wise. I think maybe she's just getting, she'd been there for so many years. Maybe she was getting a little burned out with that job. And 60 minutes, this is a quite different job. Maybe she could get some investigative stories there. Might be something good for a career path for her, but she's been one of the voices at Fox News that's been making sense for a long time. So she will be sorely missed on Fox News

2:00network in 60 minutes. It's such a different path. I'm sure she'll do a good job at that if that's what she decides, but she'll be missed at Fox Rob. You're right, Andrew. I want to think all of our listeners for tuning in tonight for another edition of After Dark. We do appreciate you tuning in because as we always say that we know that there are other podcasts that you can be listening to, but you have decided to carve out that small segment of time at night. And listen to After Dark for which we are appreciative. Speaking of Marie, not a Romo, I also have difficulty pronouncing the last thing. I think I'm just used to the one syllable names when you start adding all the other syllables, my Gidell Tonkai. But without a doubt, she's definitely a force to continue with going all the way back to the early days of when they had news. For now, our news on the TV. And she was one of the first to be with Fox. And she's also one of

3:06the first to actually broadcast on the trading floor. People oftentimes speak about that and to have last this long, almost like 30 plus years and still going. And then all it wants, she's gone. I remember I look forward to watching her show on Sunday, Sunday morning futures. And then the past couple of Sunday she was gone. I thought, well, maybe this is a holiday, you know, they take off. They're scone and vacation, but I'm like, right about it. She's still not backly. What's going on? Then only to read the headlines that look, they have scrapped her name from the headlines. They removed her from the site. She's out of there. I thought, whoa, what happened? And then of course, you know, stories start to leak on the internet as to possibly what happened. And some are saying that there was a story that she wanted to cover dealing with the 2020 election and how it had been compromised. And Fox News did not want that story shared or mentioned. And when you, if you watch

4:07your show, you go back to some of the early days, she was no all in on it. And not only that, she, sometimes she, you know, took issue with Trump, especially on the economy and things that were happening. So I would say that she was fear across the board, but that was one topic that I don't think the folks, the powers at B at Fox wanted to want to hurt to discuss. No, some would say that they didn't want to talk about it because they were in on it and they didn't believe that there were malfeasies that that Trump had no evidence. He couldn't prove it. And you know, and we hear this all the time that Trump can't prove that the election 2020 election was compromised. I was watching fake news CNN and by that, a swammy was on it. And he was being questioned by Abby, the Abby Phillips. And she set the same thing. And when they say it, they'll like try to dance over it, they'll throw it out there so that you can't address it. And she said, well, you know,

5:11Trump said that when the election was, we're still in there's no proof. And, you know, so we're going on. I mean, they say I'm not going to put it out there so that people could say, aha, but he pushed back. And he said, wait a minute. You just made a comment and I want to talk about it. And she's like, oh, well, no, no, because there is no proof. There is no proof. And you see this all the time. But there is proof. And the proof is out there now. And it's unfolding. But the legacy media will not cover it. Trump did a, I don't want to say it was a press conference. He had a news coverage event, media event, event earlier this summer. And he talked about how the election of 20 to name was compromised and how there were a lot of malfeasings taking place. Many of the networks

6:12chose not to cover it. I think Fox News did cover it. I don't know if News Max covered it or not. But he laid it out and said, this is what happened. Well, some said that maybe it should have been someone else as opposed to him. Possibly, but I know this is near and dear to him because of what happened. And there was a guy very little coverage. And he was so, and I have been had been saying this here and after dark for quite some time during the election as to what happened and how judges activists judges interfered with the election. And it made rulings that was completely out of their purview. Those rulings had to have been made by the legislation branches in those states. But judges intervened and said, no, you can't do this. You can't, you can keep counting. You can't do this. You can do. Now they can say you can keep counting, but they can't say what you count. That has to go to the legislative body. So, and we see this now is happening. It's being exposed

7:14across the country. And Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, it's like Connecticut, New Jersey. But no one is paying attention when they said that people voted, it shouldn't have voted. Andry, they people denied it. And now you have the governor of New Jersey saying yes, people voted. Some, then she came back and said there were a lot. Some were illegals. We see this in Arizona. We see it in California. And I remember Bill Barr saying who was the attorney general at the time and doing Trump's when he was in office in 2020, he said, well, it's not so significant that it would have impacted the election. And a lot of other people jumped on that. But I would say that any amount of mouthpiece is taking place in any election, impacts the election because it challenges the integrity of the election. This is the United States of America, not some third world country. And if the third world countries can get it right, why can't we get it right? Look at what Democrats are doing now

8:19fighting tooth and nail about mail-in votes. They don't want the USPS United Postal Service to control that because they want election ballots to go out to everyone. And you can't, you send it off to everyone. You're sending it to dead people. You're sending it to illegals. And there's no concern. And it's because people don't understand the election process. Why don't they understand it because it's not being touted schools. And those individuals who do understand it, they have either their old, they're in a nursing home or they're not voting, or they're dead. You got to lay a lot of baby boomers who are like, okay, I'm just going to vote I'm not concerned about. But back in the day that was so important, making certain that the people who vote it were the correct individuals. And now it's like become commonplace that you have people saying, well, who cares? Anyone should be able to vote. Just in the past decade, it's gotten to the point that anyone should be able to vote who cares. What do you mean that anyone should be able to vote?

9:23Everyone doesn't have that right. Only United States citizens should be able to vote in our election. Do you think I can go to China? Russia? UK and vote in their elections? No. And if I tried, Andrew, they were probably throwing in jail. But now it's like the mindset is that anybody should be able to come here and vote. Well, why? Well, because they're part of a community and they should be able to say what's going on. And some of them that are part of the community shouldn't be because they got here illegally. And how we just give away the right to vote so cavalier. Oh, here, black people, it's like, how how'd you fought to vote? And then you're okay with illegals voting, deciding your future, the future in your communities. And a lot of them have been dumped. A lot of them being these illegals have been dumped in your communities. So they will get to decide how money is spent. They'll get to decide how it's governed. You look at Dearborn Michigan. And you look at a lot of these other cities that have just been an influx of illegals, Somalis and Arabs and Muslims

10:24that will be making decisions. Look at Abdul Al-Saheed, granted he was born here. But how is he able to get so far? Because if you look at the community, you'll see the community is comprised of people that look like him that share his background. I said the same thing about Ilyan Omar. And there was Ilyan back in 2016. I kept saying when she was elected to the house, I think in 2018, I kept saying, how did she get there? How did a coalition come together to put her in power? Way back then I was calling it out. And I said, we need to look at it. Now look at where we are. It has been exposed and you're looking at that community and you see that there are more Somalis that are there, there are Bodhi that are sitting a businesses. And some of them should not be. A lot of them have stolen from the government millions of dollars and we learn about it. Some of them went to jail and then we moved on. You can't move on. That is a cancer that grows. And that's

11:25what they're hoping that you do. They'll say, okay, we gave you a bit of satisfaction. They're going to go to jail. Let's move on to the next issue. Let's move on to attacking Republicans. Let's move on to say that they're racist. Let's move on to attacking Trump. Let's say that he's a racist and he's not doing what he's supposed to do. And we've left this on the table. And while we've left it on the table, it's able to fester, it's able to grow from 2018 to 2026. Look at how her coalition Ilyan Omar and Rashida Tuleeb, their coalition has grown. We have a mayor in New York City who's a Muslim, who's a radical Muslim, who's pretending not to be, who's pretending to, oh, I love everybody, oh, I just love everybody, but he doesn't. Look at the crime levels that have gone up just this past, earlier Memorial Day weekend. They had a parade in Brooklyn. People were stabbed or slashed. The media is barely covering it. You know why? Because they don't want it out. They want you to think everything is fine. Look at what this mirror is doing. Those are the things that people

12:26like Maria Badaromo would cover and would expose. But when you have folks in Powell who don't want that out there because they want you to think, oh, it's not them. It's you. Oh, look, look, look at your problem. Look at what you're doing. You got to remember this. And then we focus on what they're saying. And I've always said this. We allow legacy media to dictate into narrow rate, to set the agenda. And then we go right behind them going down that rabbit hole. It is, it's an endless rabbit hole that you'll never find your way out. You look at the Jeffrey Epstein files. Look at how much how much capital was wasted on that. And where are we now? Still at the beginning. People still thinking, oh, there's someone there. There's some names. You have Thomas Massey standing up on the floor now naming names, but no one is concerned about it. But look at the capital that will stand on that. We should have been spending capital saying what the hell is going on in Minnesota. Why is Tim Wall still in office? We should impeach him. We should kick him out. But no one is talking about it because you know what they're saying, Andrew? Oh, well, he'll be out of office soon. Oh, well, he said that he's not going to run for governor. It

13:29doesn't matter. The damage is done. And he should pay the price. Hattisman and Republican, even if he said that I'm not going to run again, they would impeach and kick him out of office. Well, look at the Democrats. Look at all this, this, this leeway we give them. These are the types of stories that Maria would cover. There was another reporter on false Catherine Hathrich who left and went to CBS. And at the time, CBS was at the top was a radical liberal. And then she fired her because she didn't want her talking about the election integrity. You see how they silence our voices? And then they throw something else and then we run right behind it. All the while their agenda is being pushed. Mandami would have never become mayor. Just out of nowhere. That all at once he has all this this force behind him and people, oh, well, it's not going to matter. He'll just be there for four years. But look at the damage that he has caused. And even if he doesn't get his agenda pushed across,

14:33look at other folks that are looking at him and they say, oh, if he can do it, we can do it. And look at what happened. Look across the country. You look at all these radical Muslims that are running for office. You look across the country. And we see that a lot of these radical Muslims are mayors or aldermans in these small towns. And it makes a difference because when they all start to add up, it is a powerful coalition. And then they're able to push their agenda while we're still trying to argue and fight over things that are just like, are you serious? There's a bigger fight that's ruined. And they're hoping that we don't see it. They're hoping that we're thinking, oh, well, it doesn't matter. But it does matter. It matters for our republic. It matters for future generations. That's the reason why it matters because for four years, you think about it. Four years of going back was in Ford. And they're like, oh, so what? I think some are planning for

15:36the long game like China is always the long game. Okay, you can hurt us now, but we're looking at the future. You can go back to Bill Clinton saying, oh, wait, it's the civil developing country. That's all China wanted. And now look at China. Now look at China. Still classified as a developing country. Oh, really? These are the stories that she would bring out and would cover, along with election integrity. And I guess some felt as if, though, oh, we don't have the appetite for that. Let's just shut it down. Now again, I don't know. That's what they're saying. Yeah, that's a reason why, but I will say this entry before you come in. I will say this. One thing that they do got to got her on is that if she did leak documents to the White House internal documents that belong to Fox, they have every right to fire her. You can't do that. Okay, that's the documents that's supposed to be in house. Now, I know that it has happened before because we know that these reporters leak things to the media. They leak this and leak that and no one says anything about it. And see,

16:37that's why it matters because when others do it, we give it an okay. And we say, well, we needed to know this. But with someone else does it, that's going to benefit us. We look the other way. Go ahead, Andrew. Yeah, she'll be missed for sure at Fox News. Do you think now that we're hearing about the 60 minutes possible gig that she was getting a little bit, she could have been getting a little burned out anyways on that gig. Maybe she's wanting to move on to something different. I know a lot of people are saying maybe she'll be a president, Trump's press secretary. It doesn't look like that's going to happen. But maybe she has aspirations to do other things. No, I don't think she would have gone out like that. If she wanted to ask the case, she would have just done like Catherine Heteridge and just left. Catherine Heteridge wasn't forced out of Fox. She decided to leave her own. She might have saw the writing on the wall. The saw that, wait a minute, they're trying to stifle my stories. And then CBS wanted to add some credibility to who they were said, hey,

17:42let's pick her up. But once she went over, the powers that be there who happens to be and happen to be an ultra liberal shut her stories down and got rid of her. So I doubt that she was getting burned out and was thinking, well, maybe CBS. Because like I said, if that's the case, she would have just said, okay, I'm going to continue to enter my resume. Yeah, and leave out of here. Get out of here. My resignation rather not resume, resignation. I'm going to jump ship and I'm going to go somewhere else. Now, even had that happen, contractually, they would have said, you can go, but you can't appear on another network for X amount of days, which is like a non-compete clause, which is what they did to Carcacol Carlson. See, the way it is now what I'm hearing is that they're saying that she was fired, but she's still contractually obligated to Fox. So she can't go on any other news outlet until they release her from that contract, which I doubt they'll do. And she's probably okay with that because they're going to continue to pay her. She doesn't have to show up to work. She'll

22:01that they lose. Personally, I haven't watched much Fox News since the 2020 election when I feel like they were in on the steel against President Trump. They announced Arizona before any other network for Biden. At that point in time, it looked like there was an away Biden was going to win the state. But nonetheless, they ended up being right and they announced it ridiculously early. And I didn't like that. I thought I called shenanigans there with Fox News. And I haven't watched a whole lot of Fox News ever since. And that was six years ago. But Maria, even back then, was one of the voices that you could always tune into. I didn't know that she was going to tell you the truth. She was going to tell it like it is. Like we said, and have great cast on our show and feature stories that a lot of the other Fox News anchor shied away from. So this is one more black eye

23:04to Fox News losing Maria as an anchor Rob. It is to lose her. Maybe they lost her, Kalkson at the time. A lot of people were upset that he was taking off the air. I think they held their having second thoughts about Tucker Kalkson. And they said they removed him because he caused him a lot of money with this lawsuit saying that the election was stolen. And my position has always been this whole thing with the election integrity. And who stole what? And you know, I think it was piece. What was I think called systematic or whatever manion voting, voting, what was it? Demenian voting, Dominion voting machines here. Dominion. Dominion voting machines. And now we're finding out. So it was like high to perhaps George Stowers. And I mean, my position on it is that these reporters should have been able to report on that story. It wasn't as if they were using

24:08malice to attack Dominion voting system. They were calling it the way they saw it. They were following the leads. And for activist judges to come in and to say, well, you're going to lose this lawsuit. You might want to settle. You have to also realize that a lot of these companies have insurance set aside to pay these lawsuits, not that they want to. And of course, once you pay it, sometimes the insurance companies will say, you're too much of a lot of ability. We're going to dump you. Go somewhere else. So maybe analog folks saying that Fox was looking at that. But my position is that they caved. They gave in as opposed to fighting this. And say, we need to expose it. And it was because it was Trump. And as I said, now we're seeing that there were malice. He's taken place during the election. People were voting who should not have voted. Questionable ballast being dropped off. Questionable people appear and voting twice. And we saw all

25:10of this. I mean, guys, remember Rudy Giuliani even they had like these specials. I mean, people were testifying saying, yeah, this didn't make any sense. And I went up to vote. And they said that I had already voted. I mean, this wasn't made up stuff. And you also remember with Rudy Giuliani, he was found guilty and a liable suit. I don't know if it was liable or not. But he had to give up like almost half of his money to these two women that they claimed that he defamed. Now they defamed Trump 24 seven. They defamed other Republicans 24 seven. Nothing is done. Now some would say, well, why don't they bring a lawsuit? Well, why bring a lawsuit when you know it's just going to be endless legal fees. And at the end of the day, the judge is not going to decide in your favor. Or he's going to come out and say, I'm going to toss this. So do you want to spend all that money trying to defend it? Or just say it's not worth it. Because we're not going to

26:11get it their shake. And that just goes back to holding people accountable. Holding judges accountable. None of the judges going back to that time have been impeached, gone to jail. And we know that many of them done things that they should have done. This one judge in DC, Tonya Shotkin, who was doing her best to work with what was a guy's name, the Smith guy, and to try and bring charges against Trump. I mean, they weren't working, Jack Smith, they weren't working tirelessly to try to take a court, bring a court case to court so that Trump could not run for the presidency or that they would say he's in jail. I mean, they were working tirelessly, but then the Supreme Court finally came in and said, no, everything that he's done, he did this as a president. Now this judge, Tonya Shotkin, she knew it. Jack Smith knew it. But they were hoping that you didn't

27:11know. And there are people on the left and the right that don't know. They'll sit back and say, oh, well, no, this, this is right. Because the judges are looking at it. No, it's not. And if you don't know civics, if you don't know the law, you will assume because of the way they're positioning it that they are within their rights, but they're not. I did a show Monday with an attorney who represented Daniel Penny, and I would encourage you all to go and look at it. And we were talking about the the legalities of different things. And one of the things he mentioned, Thomas Kenneth, is that you can sue anybody. You can break a kite, bring a case against anyone. It doesn't matter. I remember doing the Clinton years, there was a saying that you can someone who said you can sue a my dog who had a tuna turkey sandwich and you can't have the money you can do it.

28:13But it comes down to well, a judge let it go for it. Does it with the judge say that this case has merit and let it move forward. And then once it starts to move forward, well, a jury say, yep, we see that someone has been wrong and we're going to pronounce a verdict. But it's all at the discretion of the judge. Remember all these cases that were brought against Trump and you had all these legal leads to say the judge should throw this out, judge you should throw it out. But we knew that they weren't going to. Why wouldn't they going to? Because they were they had it in for Trump. They wanted to stop Trump. You go back and you look at what Trump went through before the 2024 election. Endless charges, court cases, and look at how they decked the court cases to keep them off the campaign trail. This was done by design. And some of you say, well, no, it was fallen the law. No, it wasn't. You know how I know? Because you look at Tyler Robinson. Look at how long it's taking this case to go to court. Because they keep stalling. You see what I'm saying? Look at Luigi Manjone. Look at how long it

29:17took that case to go to court. So when all of those were saying, oh, no, they're fallen the law. No, they had to do it this way. No, they didn't. They could have postponed it. They could have held it off. But the judges were in on it. You see, you have people like Maria who calls it out. You have people like people like Captain Hedris who call it out. But their voices are oftentimes silenced because they're hoping that you're not paying attention. And that's how this works. The legacy media controls the narrative and then people fall along with it because it seems so really, it seems so true. It has to be, look at Janet Sixth. How many people fell for it? Oh yeah, well, Trump, Trump sat this and Trump, Trump, Trump. And then when they played the tape, I feel like, oops, wait, wait, I made a mistake. Even some Republicans. He was at the ellipse. They said, oh, well, no, this was Trump. JD Vance, the same thing. Nikki Haley, there are so many people who said Trump is guilty. Oh, no, no, because they didn't see all the facts. Then once they saw it, they said, wait a minute. Meanwhile, you had people like Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, and where is Maxine Waters? Andrew, feel free to jump in here

30:22and share your thoughts as well. Because I'll just keep going. You look at Maxine Waters, where is Maxine Waters? Remember, she came out in the public and she said, you surround them and you tell them you're not welcome. Yeah. Chuck Schumer, what did Chuck Schumer say? Do you have unleashed the world wearing Brad Kevonaw? Cheer Mitch McConnell. And Simon Bibles. Speaking of Maxine, Mitch McConnell starts to be back next week. Well, I heard that he had died, according to some, or that he was on desk door, but now we're hearing that he's going to be back in Washington next week. So that'll be interesting to see. In Maxine Waters, she's about the same boat as Mitch McConnell. These people are the poster child's fratern limits, Rob. But notice, Andrew, all the focus is on Mitch McConnell. Why don't you wondering if we're Maxine Waters? In what sort of Nancy Pelosi, I thought after she stepped down to speak through the house,

31:26she was going to stop running. Is she got any plans for retirement? Or she just going to keep on going until she croaks like the rest of them? Well, she's not running. I think it's 2028. I think that's my term. No, she's not running. I can't remember who else was running. So she is very proud. I always knew. Well, somewhat I guess, but I always knew that behind the scene, she was still pulling the shots. Still pulling the shots behind the scene. I mean, tell putting the players on the chessboard and moving them around. And just going back to you mentioned Max, what's her name? Nancy Pelosi. She even admitted when she was leaving the Capitol that it was her fault. Jan 6th, what happened? Why isn't she being held accountable? Why are more people on social media calling this out? Why are we allowing this to be swept under the proverbial rug? Because it's easy to say, oh, well, yeah, but when it comes to Republicans, oh, we're going to attack them tooth and nail. And we have some on our side, Andrew, doing the exact same thing.

32:28I mentioned the names. The biggest one is JD Vance, but they need to sell the light and said, whoa, I made a mistake. Well, to me, that's kind of questionable because if I can't trust your judgment on something that is important as that, how can I trust your judgment on other things? And I'm not taking a swipe at him. I'm just being realistic here. We see we hold people to different standards, depending on who they are and what they're doing. And if they're helping our cause, but it shouldn't be that way. Mitch McConnell has been gone for quite some time when I first heard it. We did a story on a, where is Mitch McConnell? Where is he? Then it's like, wait a minute. Maxine Wartus is missing and it's missing in action also. But look at all the focus on Mitch. Last time she was on the hill, I think it might have been April, May, where is she? She's usually out there for ensign, with everything that's going on, with the Democrats' socials of America trying to take over their party. Why hasn't she said anything? And we did find out that what was the ladies name, Jopal Primal, a Primal with Jopal, the Indian,

33:29and California who liked to say that she had an abortion, and she's glad about it. Yet that woman even voted on behalf of Maxine Wartus. I don't know if that was that permitted or not, but she did. And you know, we were just moving along, looking at Erickseewawell, banging a rush, he's Chinese spy, and was going to run for president at one point. He was going to run for governor this term. And that's still his, his science, his there just kind of lukewarm. The guy was going to run for the presidency. Have you all forgotten? He was going to run for the presidency, and when was it in 2020? He was out there talking. He was on TV. He was in one of the debates. Then he dropped out because he didn't make, he had any traction.
