1:01On and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. So Leon Black has paid a $62.5 million settlement to the United States Virgin Islands for his alleged role in Jeffrey Epstein's bullshit. And isn't it amazing how all of these people who had no idea what was going on, who had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein and his criminal enterprise, how they're all paying out so much money? That's very interesting, right? Because if you were innocent, you would fight that. You wouldn't say, all right, you know what? Here's $62.5 million. Let's call it a day. I know that if I was innocent, I certainly wouldn't be forking over that though. But all of these people who were involved with this comeback have no problem forking out this money. And all of that is to avoid going to discovery in any of these trials because they know at discovery, they're going to get absolutely walloped with evidence about their role and about their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. And Leon Black's no different, but the saddest part

2:04is the fact that the US Virgin Islands is going to get this money and not the Epstein survivors. So if we're doing our math correctly, the US Virgin Islands has now profited to the tune of 100 and $67.5 million directly off the back of the survivors and the abuse that they suffered. In the words of Sebastian Maniscalco, aren't you embarrassed? Today's article is from the St. Thomas source and the headline report billionaire Leon Black paid the Virgin Islands 62.5 million over Epstein ties. But I thought they weren't really friends. I thought they were just associates. This article was authored by Cian Cobb. Millionaire investor Leon Black agreed in January to pay the US Virgin Islands 62.5 million dollars to be released from any claims related to the Territories investigation into the sex trafficking of late disgraced financier, pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, the New York Times has reported.

3:10And now it all makes sense, right? It makes sense why the US Virgin Islands set out all of these subpoenas to all of these rich people. They were just fishing. Let's see who we can get to come to the table and give us a settlement. I know that's a cynical way to look at it, but did they send anybody to prison? Did anyone even get hit with criminal charges? Well, we all know the answers to that. Black 71, the former chief executive of private equity firm Apollo Global Management had a decades-long relationship with Epstein, whom he paid some 158 million dollars over the years for tax and estate planning services according to the Times. And does anyone believe that has anyone ever paid 160 million dollars in the history of the world for somebody else's advice? I highly doubt it. Not somebody like Leon Black. So what was the 160 million really for? That's the real question. And my guess is Epstein was hiding money for him. You know how Epstein was out there, laundering money, had a whole last operation set up, offshore to do just that.

4:15And that's what all of these scumbags were doing. And that's another reason why you didn't see a Rico case here because it would have been all encompassing. And all of these jack-offs that were hanging out with Epstein, giving him his money, getting money from him, well, they'd all be caught up in this Rico scam. And all of your favorite politicians, well, they couldn't have that because who would fund their next run for office? He severed that relationship amid a dispute in 2018 according to the newspaper and was cooperating with the VI government's investigation into Epstein. In 2021, he stepped down as CEO and chairman of Apollo after an internal investigation revealed his payments to Epstein. He also did not reseek election to the board of the museum of modern art in New York City when his term as chairman ended that year in the wake of protests over his financial ties to Epstein. According to reports at the time, Black saved at least $1.3

5:16billion using Epstein's tax avoidance strategies. And in 2021 pledged to donate $200 million to women's initiatives. They always say that, right? We're going to donate to this woman's initiative. Then the money goes to this gigantic. I'm using air quotes here charity where only pennies on the dollar even reach the victims. So it's all BS. And my guess is he's probably giving the money to some foundation that's run by a friend of his. You know how the nepotism works with these scumbags. All of these people the so-called elite, they have a lot of disdain for you. VI attorney general of the spokesperson, Venetia H. Velasquez said in a statement Friday evening that the settlement with Black reflects the department's determination to fight human trafficking. Oh, give me a break. So who did you arrest? How many people have you arrested? And how much of that money have you distributed to the survivors of Epstein? Oh, that's right. None. Not one single dollar and nobody arrested. So do us a favor and stop trying to tell us this is all about justice.

6:20This is all about securing a bag and getting more money for the US Virgin Islands. For the past several years, the Virgin Islands Department of Justice has made it a priority to support human trafficking victims and to enforce the law to prevent and deter human trafficking. Unlike any single individual, JP Morgan, had detailed and comprehensive financial data on Epstein's activities and the legal obligation to share that information with law enforcement so that it could act to stop his ongoing abuse said Velasquez, the Virgin Islands DOJ, has and will continue to allocate substantial resources from settlements and enforcement actions to enhancing and expanding its counseling and mental health services and preventing human trafficking. Oh, give me a break. They've had all this time to do that. They've had all the opportunity in the world to do that. And they've also had all the opportunity in the world to hold people accountable. They've done

7:20none of it. Not one single bit of it, but now, oh, now they're going to allocate all the resources that are needed. Yeah, I'm sure the people of the US Virgin Islands, the people who need those resources the most are going to get them because you know, that's exactly what governments do after a cash grab. According to the Times, some of the money from the settlement with Black will go to mental health programs and to combat sex trafficking in the territory. No, it's not. What does that even mean? Talk about a vague ass statement. Give us a line by line itemized list of where this money is going. And here's an idea. Instead of doing that, why don't you give this money to the survivors? Oh, that's right. Because that's not what it's about. It's not about justice. It's about greed. Like everybody else involved in this bullshit, it's about greed. The settlement does not cover claims that anyone else might bring against Black, but also cannot be used as evidence of wrongdoing by him. The paper reported, wait a minute, assist US Virgin Islands. Imagine in the

8:22middle of his other legal disputes, criminal, mind you, the US Virgin Islands comes flying in here and collects a few bucks. It's like when the vultures are circling, right? Somebody's about to die in the desert or whatever. And you got the vultures circling above them. Well, that's what the US Virgin Islands is like whenever there's a settlement to be had when it comes to Epstein. Whit Clay, a spokesman for Black, told the Times that the mogul engaged in made payments to Jeffrey Epstein for legitimate financial services, which based on everything now known, he very much regrets. Consistent with settlements of other major US banks, Mr. Black resolved the USVI's potential claims, arising out of the unintended consequences of those payments, which allegedly involved Epstein's Southern Trust Company, the same one that received lucrative tax benefits through the territories, economic development commission, and was at the center of the USVI's suit against is a state. The Justice Department produced a copy of the previously unreported settlement agreement in response to a public records request by the Times, the paper said the deal was reached during a private mediation session in January according to another document reviewed by the Times. Black, a married father of four has faced accusations by a woman named

12:19Gazelle Ganiyava who claimed she was sexually harassed and abused by him for years and ultimately forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement under duress according to reports by business insider Bloomberg and Reuters. He has said it was a consensual affair. She also alleged that he introduced her to Epstein and tried to force her to have sex with them. Another accuser, Sherry Pearson, said Black Rape Der in 2002 in Epstein's Mansion in New York City according to reports by CNN, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Post. Black has denied those claims. The January deal with Black came after the territory settled a suit against Epstein's estate for $105 million in November. It subsequently sued JP Morgan Chase, the wealthy financier's bank, Yiming Petifiles Bank, in December. The bank is denied wrongdoing and said the government's lawsuit

13:19is a masterclass in deflection. It is a masterclass in deflection, but that said, JP Morgan is liable. Both sides are liable, the US Virgin Islands, and JP Morgan. The V.I. government is seeking damages of $190 million in that case, alleging the bank violated the Trafficking Victims Protection Act and its dealings with Epstein. According to court documents, that suit is ongoing with a trial date of October 23rd. Now remember Deutsche Bank only paid out 75 million, so Leon Black pays out almost as much as a whole ass bank. Okay, well, what was he really up to if he's paying out that kind of money? The government has alleged in its filings that Epstein connected JP Morgan Chase executives with some of the world's most high profile and wealthy individuals, such as Black. It claims that in return for bringing valuable new clients into the bank, JP Morgan, through its senior executives, ignored the evidence of Epstein's crimes,

14:22and traded victims public safety for its own profits. Sounds like the same exact thing that the US Virgin Islands did, because that's what they did. How else did Epstein get all of these taxocups? Why was he able to continue to bring girls to this island? They don't ever want to answer any of that stuff, but at some point, they're going to have to, and Judge Reichoff isn't really buying their BS. He is not buying the BS of the US Virgin Islands when it comes to this lawsuit, so it's going to be very, very interesting to see what happens inside of this courtroom if it gets to that point, and I think it's going to. JP Morgan has no desire to settle with the US Virgin Islands. In fact, they've already taken the posture that they're ready to litigate until the cows come home. And litigating against JP Morgan Chase, I don't care if you're a government or not, is not going to be a cheap or fun experience. These guys have lawyers out of the wazoo, and they're going to make it super expensive for the US Virgin Islands.

15:23According to the government, beyond black, Epstein offered JP Morgan access to such high-profile individuals as Prince Andrew of Great Britain, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, former US presidential adviser David Gergen, Israeli general and politician Ehud Barak, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the children of former Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating, Lord Peter Mandelson of the British government, the Agnelli family of Fiat Motor Company fame, and the ruling shakes of Kuwait, Buran, Dubai, and the United Arab Emirates among many others. That list reads like the bad guy list in a superhero movie, and it's also interesting how many people on that list have ties to you know who Bill Clinton. Epstein 66, a registered sex offender who pleaded guilty to procuring a minor for prostitution in Florida in 2008 was found dead by a apparent suicide in August of 2019, while in detention in New York on federal human trafficking charges.

16:29His primary residence was Little St. James, his private island off St. Thomas, where for years he trafficked and girls and young women and ran a complex web of shell companies registered in the USVI that enabled his crimes core documents have alleged. So who set that up? Was it JP Morgan or was it the government in the US Virgin Islands? We all know who set it up and we all know who benefited from it. So now the US Virgin Islands wants to get duked on both ends of this? So you want to get duked on the front end and the back end? Meanwhile you shouldn't be getting any money whatsoever. Never mind both ends of it. Epstein, who held some 50 JP Morgan accounts, was valued at more than $577 million at the time of his death according to court documents. We all know it was more than that. The offshore, unaccounted for money forget it. How much is that worth? Who knows? But we know there's a ton of it. That's what he excelled in. That's what Epstein

17:29did. He hid money overseas. He hid money so he didn't have to pay taxes. And that's what he did for people like Leon Black and the rest of these dirt bags. Meanwhile you have the government over here looking at your Etsy account. And then they wonder why people are pissed off. And it just adds to the frustration. It adds to the anger when people like Leon Black continuously are able to buy their way out of problems that would have the rest of us rotting in jail. And so the story goes. And unfortunately you're gonna remain under the radar when it comes to the overall narrative

19:31of what Jeffrey Epstein was up to. And that's the whole entire goal here to make it just speculation to make it just allegation. And the one remedy to all of that is depositions. They all know that at that position time the bullshits over. So that's why they do everything in their power to avoid getting to that point. And that's certainly why Leon Black paid out $62 million. And that's why I said the USVI with their subpoenas was extorting people. That's all it was was extortion. It has nothing to do with law and order. It has nothing to do with the fact that they're trying to bring people to justice. They were trying to find a way that they could justify going after all of this money. And they came up with this scheme, this plot that said that the USVI overall was a victim of Jeffrey Epstein. Now for those of you who've been following the story, you know that that's absurd as it comes. If anything, the USVI was victimizing the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein.

The Caribbean investigators also wanted to know about Black zone trips to Little Sane James, Epstein's private island, where the late finance here pedophile is said to have abused countless girls and allegedly handed them off to his friends too. Yeah, well, I don't know if there's any allegedly there. I think we could say allegedly about who was involved, but as far as what happened, the actual pattern of abuse, no allegedly there, we all know the deal, we all know what happened, and we all know how pervasive it was. Black ended up settling, agreeing in January, to pay $62.5 million to make it go away. The settlement was first reported by New York Times this week. Black's representatives have insisted that it does not indicate complicity in Epstein's crimes, or even knowledge of it, now just to be clear, this article came out back in January. Once the Titan of the finance industry, Black stepped down in shame from his firm Apollo in 2021

He paid Epstein $158 million over the course of five years between 2012 and 2017 after Epstein had been convicted of soliciting prostitution from children and Palm Beach. Imagine? This dude knew that Jeffrey Epstein was out here dittling kids because that's what he went to jail for, and still was willing to give him $158 million. After Epstein was already a convicted sex offender. I don't want to hear shit from Leon Black, oh I had no idea what was going on. Yes you did. You had every idea in the world, and in fact I'll take it a step further. You knew a lot more. Now can I prove that? Unfortunately I can't. But I think that the $62.5 million payment is a pretty good tell. Black insists the payments were for a state planning and tax advice, and that he was given poor advice by Epstein, who was professional credentials barely touched his own. And that's so crazy to me, and I've said this from jump street. Anyone who knows about Apollo global knows that

25:49they're one of the biggest and top investment firms hedges around. And these guys are not the kind of group that's out here looking for the advice of anybody else, Jeffrey Epstein or otherwise. So all of a sudden Leon Black needs to go to the guru Jeffrey Epstein to the tune of $158 million? Yeah, I don't buy it, okay? Not for one single second. There is no amount of advice on this planet. That's worth $158 million. The Senate Finance Committee is now investigating whether Black were the reported $11 billion, owes taxes on those payments. Oh, you and I would owe taxes on them. Go ahead and go and sell something on eBay. You owe tax on that. But Leon Black paying out $300 million, paying out $600 million, paying out $60 million, no big deal. Black was a pillar of the New York High Society as a chairman of the Museum of Modern Art and husband, the theater producer Deborah Black, the pair remained married and have four children, even though he was cheating on her,

26:51even though he had a gumaad on the side. Even though that same gumaad Guzelgani Eva has made some horrible claims about him. Even though his wife was sick at the time he was cheating on her, good ol Leon Black, the captain of industry, Mr. Ramoma, Mr. New York City High Life Himself, Black has also been sued in Manhattan Federal Court by a Jane Doe who claims that he raped her in 2002 when she was 16 at Epstein's house. Now in her 30s, she is too old to file a claim against them with the New York Police Department, even in light of New York State's stretched historic child abuse statute limitations. The woman is autistic and has mosaic Down syndrome, a condition that is only manifested internally and has no physical symptoms. She describes in graphic detail how Black allegedly raped her on a massage table at Epstein's mansion after sodomizing her with sex toys and making her bleed. She claims he threw her to the

27:52ground after the assault, calling her a whore, the woman's attorney Jean Christensen described in the filing how she had been allegedly trafficked Epstein and Golan Maxwell, now in prison, for her part in the sex trafficking operation by a mystery couple named only as Elizabeth and Charlie. She says the girl had been given to them by her unsuspecting parents then was subjected to horrific sexual and physical abuse and we know that several of these lawsuits against Leon Black have been thrown out whether on merit or because Leon Black is just too powerful. Either way, going after a man like Leon Black, you better come prepared because not only is he a downright scoundrel, he's gonna bring in the big guns and he has enough money to litigate you from here to San Genad. The lawsuit describes shocking and twisted tactics allegedly used by Golan to win the child's trust. The girl's attorneys claim Golan called her beautiful darling and

28:55compared her to Adal, lauding her with praise whenever she pleased Epstein sexually and even clapping after the first time she made him ejaculate. Maxwell has long denied the many allegations against her from a number of women. She remains in prison serving a 20 year prison sentence for her crimes, but she is the only person in Epstein's orbit to have been sent down for what is described as a worldwide pedophile ring. And not to digress too far, but come on. All of these people involved, all of these people named in court documents, how is it that only Maxwell's in prison? Epstein killed himself in jail allegedly in 2019 while awaiting trial. Black's attorneys have strenuously denied the most recent lawsuit filed by Jane Doe. They say he is never before, even met the girl who claims he raped her. And you know, the question still remains that I asked in the beginning of the episode. What the hell is this guy given Jeffrey Epstein $158 million for?

29:57And furthermore, how is it that the USVI is just going to let him get off with a payout? Unless, of course, the USVI has been bullshitting you all for all this time when they say they care about justice because the optics and their actions tell us that it's not about justice. And in fact, just like the estate, it's all about money. And just like with the financial institutions and with Leon Black, when it comes to the USVI, it's profits over people. Richard Khan, an executive of Mr. Epstein's estate, testified in a deposition in May that the victim's settlement included a carveout provision involving Leon Black, a billionaire private equity investor, and James E. Staley, a former top executive at JP Morgan Chase and Barclays, said the people who were briefed on the deposition and spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to publicly discuss the matter. Well, we had not heard that Richard Khan had been deposed. So that's a good thing. Getting that guy under oath was a very, very important matter to get handled. And I wonder if he perjured himself at all during that testimony. We know that

34:13Darren Indyke and Richard Khan were key pieces of what Epstein had going on. They were around from the very beginning. Indyke's name and signature is everywhere on documents as well as cons, and then just listen to what the survivors had to say about these two dudes, and it's certainly a head scratcher how they ended up as the executors and not as defendants. The exceptions made for Mr. Black and Mr. Staley show how the two men continue to be dogs by their social and business dealings with Mr. Epstein. Four years after he killed himself in a federal jail, allegedly Mr. Goldstein, while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. You know what's so funny to me? All of these people that are so gung ho to believe what the OIG wrote in that ridiculous report, but out of the other side of their mouth, they're criticizing this ruling or that ruling, and then they say, well, that was just a bad decision by the court or a bad decision by the

35:13Supreme Court. Well, how about a bad decision by the OIG? But that would run directly in the face of the narrative that they're trying to spin, and that narrative is, look, everybody's he conspiracy theorist and Jeffrey Epstein most certainly killed himself. How do we know that? Well, we're telling you that. Meanwhile, the OIG report did nothing, nothing, not one single thing, just to be clear, okay? You want it in Italian? I'll give it to you in Italian too. It did who gots when it comes to furthering any sort of reliable narrative about what happened inside of that jail cell, and furthermore, what happened the first time around inside of the jail cell with Nicholas Tartaglioni. You notice the New York Times and Mr. Goldstein here and the rest of the reporters that cover this case, I'm using air quotes, they never bring that part of it up, and the reason that they never bring up Tartaglioni and what happened in that jail cell is because it absolutely destroys the rest of the narrative moving forward.

36:17The arrangement could set a precedent for other victims of Mr. Epstein, potentially exposing Mr. Black and Mr. Staley to further scrutiny and liability. They deserve all of it, all the scrutiny, all the liability, and hopefully all of the repercussions that comes with it. She was a victim, potentially to these individuals, Mr. Khan said in the deposition, according to one of the people. Mr. Khan said that Mr. Epstein's estate agreed to the carve-out provision so that the unnamed woman could potentially sue for harms that she incurred. Well, as much as I hate Indykin Khan, I'm glad to see that the estate acquiesced to this portion of it. That way, the woman here doesn't just have to say, you know what, I got a payment from Epstein's estate so everybody else is off the hook, screw that, enough of that nonsense. Everybody who is involved has to be brought in, prosecuted, if they've done something criminal, and arrested. I

37:19don't understand what the hold-up is here and what the problem is. In the deposition, Mr. Khan, who was Mr. Epstein's longtime accountant, said at least one other victim had sought a similar carve-out from the estate, according to the person. He suggested in testimony without providing details, the other victims might have asked for the provision with regard to other men the person said. It was unclear for Mr. Khan's deposition whether either of the women had pursued claims against Mr. Black or Mr. Staley or what their specific claims might be. The people briefed on the deposition said, well we know what the claims are. We know what women are saying about Leon Black and Jeff Staley. And then we have Jeff Staley's own emails that are more than suspect talking about Snow White, Beauty and the Beast. Come on, do you really think they were talking about Disney movies or were they talking about something a lot more sinister?

38:20In settling claims with victims, Mr. Epstein's estate had sought to limit the potential for litigation against anyone with ties to Mr. Epstein, something that should have never been allowed by the way. That should have never been allowed by the government, but you know the USVI and the government down there they care so much about the victims right? Give me a break. As there's stuff and money in their pockets like Scrooge McDuck, both Mr. Black, co-founder of the private equity firm Apollo Global Management and Mr. Staley have been frequent visitors to Mr. Epstein's Manhattan residents. Mr. Black paid Mr. Epstein $158 million for a tax and estate planning services. Outside payments that are now drawing scrutiny from the Senate Finance Committee. Oh, they finally got around to it huh? That's nice of them. Well they're too busy, playing political, fuck the football before? Oh that's exactly what they were doing. The whole lot of them discussed me by the way. All of our elected officials, I don't look

39:21at any of them and say to myself, man, this is somebody I can trust. This is somebody that's gonna do the right thing. And why do I take such a cynical outlook when it comes to our politicians? Well, take a look at the way they behave. Take a look at all of the shit going on, all of the things that are wrong in this country, and they can't even figure it out. They can't come together, they can't work together, everything's a big argument, everything has to be absolutely politicized. That way they can continue to divide, me and you, so they can continue to do what they want to do without any scrutiny. That's the plan, I can't believe more people don't see it, but that's what they've been doing forever. And that's what they continue to do. Do you really think that these politicians that are out there talking all this trash about the other politicians really mean that? It's like wrestling. Oh sure, they hate each other when the cameras are on, but when the camera goes off, they all work together again to continue to plunder your future and your wealth. Meanwhile, everybody stands on the sidelines and cheers them on.

40:24Susan Estrich, a lawyer for Mr. Black, said the leak of Mr. Khan's deposition testimony is baseless character assassination, involving anonymous women who have never brought a claim against Mr. Black. So you know that this is a heavy claim if Susan Estrich is trying to get out in front of it the way she is. She knows that this is going to have blowback, and she knows that the writing is on the wall for Leon Black to now face other civil suits. A lawyer for Mr. Khan declined to comment. The deposition for Mr. Khan was in connection with a class action lawsuit filed last year by Mr. Epstein's survivors against JP Morgan Chase, the largest bank in the United States and a related lawsuit against the bank by the US Virgin Islands. The lawsuits contend that the bank turned a blind eye to Mr. Epstein's trafficking of teenage girls and young women to and from his

41:29residences in the Virgin Islands Manhattan, Florida, and New Mexico because he was a wealthy client with famous and powerful friends. Don't even get me started on New Mexico. What occurred down in New Mexico as far as an investigation is straight up embarrassing. And everybody involved down there, baldarras and everybody else should hang their heads in shame for the rest of their lives. In June, JP Morgan agreed to pay $290 million to settle the class action lawsuit, but it continues to contest the suit by the Virgin Islands, which seeks $190 million and damages. JP Morgan is also suing Mr. Staley in connection with that suit, claiming he could be liable for damages. So basically what we have here are a bunch of monkeys banging a football. That's what it looks like. Okay, lawsuits come in from every side. This one's liable, that one's liable, breaking news, you bunch of dicks, you're all liable. In a court filing on Monday, JP Morgan

42:33said it continued to do business with Mr. Epstein because it relied on Mr. Staley's representations that Mr. Epstein had turned the page on his past conduct. So his past conduct, he was fixed from that. He was no longer a molester. He was no longer a child abuser. We all know that people that do what Epstein did don't stop. What do you even talking about? He turned the page. It's not like this guy didn't pay his taxes and got nailed for that. We can all forgive that, right? Ah, yeah, the guy didn't want to pay his taxes shitty, but I get it. Hurting children, trafficking women, yes, sorry, not the same thing. An internal review of Mr. Staley's company emails conducted by JP Morgan following Mr. Epstein's 2019 arrest found that the two men had shared sexually suggestive emails. Lawyers for Mr. Staley in court papers have said he did nothing wrong and he was unaware of any sex trafficking by Mr. Epstein. He had no idea, folks. None of them knew anything. They had no idea.

43:40In 2021, Mr. Black resigned as Chairman and Chief Executive of Apollo over his ties to Mr. Epstein. This year, he quietly agreed to pay $62.5 million to the Virgin Islands to head off a potential lawsuit that would have claimed his large payments to Mr. Epstein helped finance a sex trafficking operation in the US territory. And you see why they don't use Rico, right? Because if they did, they'd have to arrest Leon Black. They'd have to arrest all of these scumbags that hold the keys to the kingdom. And when I say the keys to the kingdom, I mean the financial sector. Who do you think puts your favorite politicians in office? You think it's you? You think it's all those ballots that were sent in? No, it's not. It's these people that are pulling the strings of their puppets. They're the puppeteers. People like Leon Black, okay? So keep that in mind when you're arguing about your favorite politicians. Mr. Black is also being sued by two other women who say they were raped by him roughly two decades

44:45ago at Mr. Epstein's Manhattan Townhouse. Miss Estrich called those allegations false and frivolous. Lawyers for Mr. Epstein's survivors have estimated that he sexually abused hundreds of teenage girls and young women over two decades. More than 125 women have received $153 million in settlement payments from either a restitution fund set up by the estate or in deals negotiated directly by the estate. As was the case with the two women, Mr. Khan was asked about during his deposition. All right, so as you can see here, Leon Black and Jess Staley certainly aren't out of the woods when it comes to getting sued. Survivors who have taken money from the survivor's fund, well, they're still going to be able to sue Jess Staley and Leon Black according to the deposition of Richard Khan. And that's a big development because now that means that they're

But unfortunately, it's not going to matter because at the end of the day, they're just going to break out their checkbook and pay their way out of whatever trouble they find themselves in. And that's what happens when everything's civil and nothing is criminal. So here we are talking about a seco case that should have been a rico case and all of Jeffrey Epstein's pals and fellow travelers are doing nothing more than pulling out their checkbook and buying their way out of trouble while the rest of us are left aghast wondering if any real justice is ever going to arrive.
