A favorite mantra, like, mantra is changed depending on

just where I'm at with my life.

You know, I heard really good quote recently from the book, just from Michael Singer.

And he said that stress only happens when you resist life's events.

Okay.

And I was like, man, it took me a long time to learn that lesson.

So, you know, right now, let's say like that is a quote that has really stuck with me.

Okay.

Man, how have you used that?

So we had our first kid and we're doing a lot in the business.

And so what I had to learn to do was because I was so busy, I was like, dude,

I just can't keep living this all relaxed when everything's done.

I had to learn to enjoy the moment like with my kid while I was cooking, while I was making breakfast,

while I was maybe picking up the house.

So rather than me and just completely focused on like accomplishing my to-do list

and just being stressed out for an entire freaking year in my wife,

instead of just being focused on that particular task.

And so it was like, learn to surrender a little bit.

I used to have the house buttoned up and straightened up every single day.

It was Chris Cling perfect.

Now I'm okay with things being a little bit messy.

I'm learning to surrender a little bit more.

The what life has thrown at me rather than trying to fight it

and keep everything perfect the way it was before.
