In this episode, I'm joined by Michaël Bijker, the founder of the Life Awareness Project. Michaël has traveled the globe in pursuit of knowledge, driven by a deep passion for enhancing both body and mind. His journey has led him to specialize in Meditation, Yoga, Qi Gong, and breathwork. Michaël embarked on his path of mind training and meditation at the tender age of 14. However, his dedication deepened after a severe car accident in 2001 forced him to explore Qi Gong and Yoga as part of his recovery journey.
Remarkably, through the potent practices of Qi Gong and Yoga, and with the grace of God, Michaël defied medical expectations and healed from injuries that were once deemed irreversible.
Subsequently, his life mission crystallized into guiding others in mastering these transformative techniques. Today, he boasts a global community of over 100,000 students, all on a collective journey to train both mind and body, facilitating an understanding of one's true nature and essence while liberating the mind.
Currently residing in Portugal with his wife and two children, he continues his mission by teaching yoga, meditation, and breathwork both online and offline.
