1:08This is the Monday Mansion podcast. We're here with Jeff Radcliffe. This guy does not do a lot of podcasts, but he made time for us. We're super appreciative and we have a lot of questions. Radcliffe, we are going to get right into it, but before we do, zoom out. Last 10 years. Was this the worst year, worst off season for suspensions and injuries, or has it been worse? And we just forgot. You know the movie Memento? Yes, I just watched that. Yeah, it's a good one. I need to forget that you watch it, right? I'm sure most people who are listening watching right now have seen if you're not familiar with it. It's a great watch. I think it actually holds up fairly well for it's not like a it's not a super old movie, but it's not a new movie by any stretch. But in that movie, obviously the main character basically has a short-term

2:09memory of about 15 minutes and then he forgets everything. And it seems like that happens in fantasy football and it's not just injuries or suspensions or anything like that. It's what didn't work or did work last year. Like people collectively just forget annually a lot of the stuff. And I get it. I mean, hey, nine months passed between the last time we're really thinking hard about this stuff. But I don't think there's anything more. I mean, we had one season and a in jaden higgins. We've had a bunch of small injuries that people have made out to be very large injuries. But generally speaking, I don't think it's any more or any less than what we've seen in the past. Yeah, we've got some DUIs. That's par for the course. You're always going to have a few DUIs here. Guy waking up is car with police batons like tapping the window. That happens every year. We know it. We didn't have any tragedies. We've had some real tragedies in some of these off seasons. That actually didn't happen. We did have a tragedy, which was. Can't see chiefs. Offends a coordinator.

3:10Oh my god. You're right. It's fun. Yeah. Oh god. Okay. I was thinking about players. I was thinking about Henry. I was thinking about Henry Ruggs. I was thinking about people going to jail for a long time or Ray Karoo's. It's Eric the enemy. Now it comes to me because I know it's people like listening or like, yeah, yeah. That was that was very tragic. That was the tragedy of the off season. Yeah. And it was to a coach. And yet that's most off season sadly. I just listed a couple and every year there's at least one super tragic thing that happens. But we're going to focus on the positive today. And we're going to focus on how to get edge when there is when there is an injury that or there is a suspension for so just let's just start. Marshawn Lloyd. Okay. What do we do? Avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid. That has been and I have to say it four times just to drive it home. So I take that warm buff at mentality of be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when

4:11others are greedy. And in this instance, there's been a lot of greed. We saw a recent example. Now for a very, very, very, very, very different reason, but if people being exceedingly greedy and then kind of get burnt by it, the example was Ash and Gen. C and Mike Washington. Mike Washington going as early as the third round right after that injury happened. And I know that stories didn't make it sound good. It's especially bad when the teammates take a knee and pray. But Gen. C might even play in week one. That was a extreme overreaction. And my instance there are like, if I don't know something, I'm not going to pretend like I do. And I'm going to back away. I've done that with Marshawn Lloyd. Obviously, I've done it with Josh Jacobs. We heard from Brian Guterkundz yesterday that there is a distinct possibility like he thinks Jacobs plays this season. They're not cutting him. Like usually if it's that egregious, that's the first move. Now it doesn't mean he's not going to be cut. If TMZ gets their hands on the video and the video does not paint a favorable picture, which I imagine it might not, then he they may be forced to cut him. But the reality here is we

5:14don't know. We know what a baseline suspension is in the NFL for domestic violence. It's six games. We know that there have been instances in the past where players have been commissioners exempt, then suspended. But then they've basically time served. Jiburo Peppers was a seven game on commissioners exempt. And then he was suspended. Lo and behold, for seven games, time served was allowed to go back out and play. That could be Jacob's by late October. Now the initial court date would say probably not November 17th. But like do you see like all of these moving pieces say I have zero clarity. Also, let's not ignore the elephant in the room. How many carries is Marshawn Lloyd having two seasons as a professional? Is it six? I think it's six. He doesn't stay healthy. Now he's not going to be pushed by the dudes behind him necessarily. But what if they just go Washington commanders from last year and just use all three of these dudes? He's athletic. He's exciting. He's the kind of guy I like to draft. He really is. There's is tantalizing upside. And then you have him and he helps you get to the playoffs. And then he's not usable in the playoffs

6:15because Jacob's returns. But all the money's made in best ball. He's not going to be there for you. That's the danger. Yeah. Jacob's has been on the decline. His health has been on the decline. He's suffered more lower body injuries in recent years. Their offensive line is one of the worst in the league rated 30th on player profilers. Offensive line rankings. Thanks to Dan Fornic. It's the case for the Green Bay running game isn't there. Right. If you can get a great value on Marshawn Lloyd, what would you say to be a great value like ninth round? Yeah, but he's not even going anywhere near close to that. I mean, people are paying what? Fifth round. If you have a labor day draft this week and you're probably paying a fifth or a sixth round price point because that's about what are we 23 to 29 in that range? Which is, I mean, I'll be honest, even though I'm not, I don't want to draft the dude. I have to have him ranked and I have him at 29 right now. That's where we have him. Yeah. Yeah. And I drafted him in the seventh round, which is actually probably decent. At some point, once guys like Giderium Price and Trevion Henderson are all off

7:20the board, those mid round upside plays, the guys that have the explosive athleticism, but they just don't have the projectible opportunity share. He's got to be in the mix with those guys. The problem is this Green Bay running game is just going to be a bad running game this year. Yeah. So no matter how explosive you are, you need to catch passes. And so the nice thing is, we did see that in preseason and in training camp reports coming out that he was smooth in the passing game and he could be efficient there. That's going to be the thing that saves him. It's going to be him as a satellite back, not him as between the tackles runner because there's just not going to be any daylight for the packers running running backs with elite offenses. I like to get pieces of both the running game and the passing game chase Brown and T Higgins. Why not? Right. And then on down the board with the mid tier teams, I like to pick one or the other, the passing game or the running game where I'm going to get my action. And a lot of that has to do with how good the offensive line is. So in this case, you know, I've been drafting a bunch of Christian Watson.

8:23I have a ton of Jaden Reed. That's where my chips are being placed on the board with the packers. It's just I don't care much about their running game. I don't care much about the running game in Minnesota. I don't care much about the running game even in, you know, a place like Tampa, because it's hard to project and the guy I really love, Gainwell is capped. He's finally priced right for the first time in his career. So it's one of those things where I just have a hard time getting enthusiastic about a guy I really should be more enthusiastic about in Marshawn Lloyd. And I kind of get it when people, but I just like, I'm already so out over my skis with this packer's passing game that I'm good. I'm good. And then with the really bad teams, I just as soon have nothing. None. Running high, like Jeremiah love. I wasn't drafting Jeremiah love anyway, because he's a rookie and he's a rookie. And it's a groundhog day with Tyler Aljir, but he's on a worse team than Tyler Aljir and B. John Robinson had in Atlanta. So I'm like, what are we gaining here? We're getting

9:28basically 20, 25 Ashen Gentie or 20, 20, yeah, I mean, in 2026, how many weeks did Ashen Gentie really help you last year? Two. And the scary thing is his numbers really aren't that bad. Exactly. He was like RB 12. You look at the grand scheme of things. He caught a lot of balls as well. But it's always expected, managing expectations, expectations with reality. Like I did this whole bit on my radio show today about B. John Robinson, who just mentioned, it's like, just no. Brian Robinson's going to have seven touchdowns. It just came out. The news came out today. Yeah, just know that it's probably going to bite you a couple times. But B. John's also going to touch the ball 350 times. He's such a 360, you know, 360 plus to each of the last two years. He's going to have 1400 rushing yards. He's going to have 70 catches. It's not all video games. It's not always going to be video games. But I do think that the market is a little bit sharper on love than they were on Gentie last year. Yes. I also really want to say something just to tie a bow because doing national radio five days a

10:32week, I know that if I leave even a crack open in a door, people are going to storm through and tell me how wrong I am. I am well aware that March on Lloyd has spent time working on trying to not be injured. I saw all the reports. He can prove us all wrong, though. I hope he does. But I am aware of that report. I pointed out though his injury history still because his injury injury history is real. Now, as far as Jeremiah love is concerned, this kid was special at Notre Dame. He was so special in fact that Giddarian Price who apparently can catch the ball out of the backfield was relegated to basically almost no catches. That's how good he was there. But he steps into this weird situation. I mean, they do have more mouths to feed. If you have healthy Marvin Harris in junior, along with Michael Wilson and Trayn McBride, Jacobi Persecan spin it enough. I mean, eventually we'll see Carson Beck, but the beauty here, they should have a lot of opportunity to play catch up through the air. I don't think it bodes well for the run game necessarily. But Jeremiah love catching the ball out of the backfield should at least be okay. But you bring up the point. I mean, Tyler Algear is going to be there. They've already made it clear,

11:36Michael Fuller made it clear. They're going to use both of these guys. So that has to be a part of the calculus if you're drafting love. You can't just expect that he's going to be an instant top 12 dude, which he's not being drafted as such. But you know, that has to be the baked in expectation. You mentioned Robinson, Doug and a little bit on Beijon. He's talking to Lord Rebs, Rich Rebar yesterday. There's a case. There's a case that you should draft McCaffrey over Beijon. That if you knew McCaffrey would play 17 games, you would want him over Beijon. You just don't know that. And when I talked to John Paulson from four for four, he said there's one player I'd love to know beyond McCaffrey. How many games he plays and that's Mike Evans. Is there another guy where you'd love to know how many games he's going to play? And badly you desperate to know. Well, I mean, maybe for a different reason. Pukinikoa. Oh, no, Pukinikoa is going to play. I mean, there's more allegations, although they really were exceedingly vague from his ex. Like she said abuse, but she did not say what abuse. Like obviously, you know,

13:46could be a wide range of things. I don't even want to speculate there. He avoided commissioner's exempt. He's not going to be placed on commissioner's exempt. I'd be very surprised. There's photo evidence. It's about as damning as it gets. And he wasn't placed on commissioner's exempt. But that doesn't mean he can't still be suspended at some point. I wouldn't imagine it's a lengthy suspension, but it's something I'd still want to know nonetheless. So what is the new rule with the NFL? If there's photo or video evidence, they will throw you on the commissioner's exempt list before any kind of court ruling comes down. But generally, if they don't have anything visual, they're going to wait for all of the court proceedings to play out before they come down with any kind of punishment. That seems to be the new standard, but they're shifting it all the time. I don't think it necessarily would have to be visual. Like you mentioned an example of murder earlier. Well, yeah. Well, Terry and Arnold's in Seattle. I mean, he would have been placed on commissioner's exempt for that. If he's on a roster, he'll be on commissioner's exempt immediately. So the way here it has to be

14:48an absolutely egregious example. Sometimes when there is video evidence, it's pretty egregious. But the collective bargaining agreement and all of the NFL rules here, the personal conduct policy, all these policies, they actually can step in and suspend before the legal process, but they typically do wait for the legal process to unfold before acting. We've seen this over and over, Alvin Camaro was suspended almost a year later or a year and a half later. That is, Rashi Rice, same thing, almost a year and a half later. It's almost as if you forget what they do by the time the suspension comes around. So in the in some of these instances, yes, that would be the case. But there's like photographic evidence. Now that's what I'm saying. We didn't have any of that evidence with Alvin Camaro. And that seems to be the big differentiator with the timing, in which they're going to issue a suspension. Whereas if it's out in the public, if it's out in the media, they have to do something. They feel compelled to act where not as much when it's just a report that's been filed in a behind the scenes investigation without anything leaking to

15:50the media. I do think, by the way, the packers not just letting Jacobs go. I think this Terri Arnold thing because he was signed by Seattle and it was on hard knocks. I think you couldn't help but feel for the lions in that situation where it seemed like these guys were just getting this gift that was walking through the door and they were all high fives and celebrating. And the lions were like, but we did the right thing. And now we're getting humiliated by a team that is going to bury us in the playoffs. And one of the reasons they're going to bury us is because we can't stop any Woody in the passing game and the opposing passing game because we don't have a guy like Terri Arnold. This is really a punch in the gut. And so now teams are I'm sure like, we don't want to be in the lion's position where a competitor in the conference picks up a valuable player that you released because you felt compelled to do the right thing. The packers are like, no, it's the same reason why we as fantasy gamers, if Jacobs is available late enough, we have to pick him because

16:52if we don't, our competitors will. So now the packers are like, listen, screw PR, we're not going to let a competitor down the street. We're not going to the Vikings get Josh Jacobs. No way. I mean, potentially, potentially. I mean, it was really interesting hearing the transparency from Seattle. Yeah. Oh, yeah. If it was us, we would have caught them too. But here we are. We're going to pick them up. Like that part of it was one of our interesting elements except, you know, the running back coach dancing in episode one was the one redeeming moment from the first episode. And then the show has really gotten better. It's really improved. And so there's a lot of these interesting elements that you're seeing with that. Yeah, the the terranonal thing by far the most interesting narrative because we've never really got to see how the sausage is made when a player that's that soaked in controversy gets signed by another team. And it was it was a pretty we don't know. They say they would have caught him. We don't know. I don't know. Green Bay is not cutting Jacobs. I can tell you that right now. It's not going to happen. So even if you knew, okay, let's say you knew McCaffrey was going to play 17 games. Would you draft him over? Be

17:54John or not? I think still not. It's really close. But the one element McCaffrey last year that kind of gave me a little bit of pause is is not the passing. Pass catching is still phenomenal. From my money, he's still the best pass catching running back I've ever seen. I know there are others out there who are pretty good. But from my money, that's my personal preference. But he does appear to have lost and I'll call it a quarter step in the run game. He's getting older. And that happens to everybody out there. He still can be very effective in that offense. But you know, I look at it. Who's more likely to rip off a extremely long touchdown right now? I'll be John, right? So I'm looking at it from a ceiling standpoint. And he can still catch just as many balls as McCaffrey. I don't expect a hundred catches for basically anybody out there. Obviously he did last year, but he could catch as many passes as anybody. So I think it's close. I actually am not showing away from McCaffrey even though the 400 plus touches the last time we saw him do that earlier in his career. He did get hurt the next season. But I'm not showing away from him. However, I still think I would just go be John. We're going commando at player profiler with

18:59our rankings. So we have Puka at three and McCaffrey at four and eat it. Eat it, right? So I mean, if you want to play scared, go ahead. Go ahead. We're not. That's that's how we're doing it. Sure. That's that's that's that's that's we're just you know, F you. And if you want to pick your draft spot, I say get the one on one because then you get Jameer Gibbs and 32 points a game with basically nobody behind him at this point with Pichecco. Not the Pichecco was that much of a threat. But I mean, you're talking you got a guy from the UFL is your your number two running back right now. Well, that's that's like a 5% carry share potentially going to Pichecco that they wouldn't. No, no, I'm in in terms of difference where Pichecco is going to get a 20% carry share. Sailor gets 15 that 5% is it going to go to Vocky is we you know, you have a quarterback that does not run at all. So you have a statu at quarterback. If I were to lay out all the things, all the elements that would be needed to break the record for fantasy points per game by a position player, he checks

20:03every box Gibbs checks every single box in terms of the talent profile a more explosive version of Christian McCaffrey on the right offense with a bad defense and a good offensive line and a statue quarterback and no target competition out of the back field. No carry competition out of the back field. No wide receiver three that commands any kind of target share. It's lined up. It's lined up for 30 plus fantasy points per game and if you're not drafting him at the 101, you're crazy. The big question is in super flex Gibbs or Josh Allen. That's the only conversation around Gibbs that I'm interested in at all. Yeah. And you know, early on if it was if this was like May or June, I would have said Josh Allen. The more I've seen super flex drafts, the more I would say no. You can wait insanely long in super flex drafts. Like there is not a sense of urgency right now. I've been really trying to build out and have you know, be sitting there with you know, three in three like in terms of running backs and wide receiver. I'm going to wait a tight end

21:06because I'm a glutton for punishment. But if I can do that and then come back and still like Jared Gough is fine with me or you know, if I draft it Gibbs, I might be a little reluctant there. But Matthew Stafford is hanging around there. You know, heck you wait even longer. Sam Darnell didn't his beautiful spiral. Sam Darnell's not bad for super flex. Like in super flex, if you can outclass your opponents at running back and wide receiver, all you need to do is keep pace at quarterback. You don't have to win the week at quarterback if you've already won at running back and wide receiver. You know, if you keep pace, you're going to be ahead of them and when they're drafting quarterbacks early and often they're letting all of that fall into your lap, you can really build a robust group of running backs and wide receivers. Alan's going to win MVP though. He's got DJ Moore. He's got Dalton Kincaid. It's a very it's a Dalton Kincaid's kind of a career year. He's my favorite tight end to draft this year. The PCL is long gone. Basically, it's just like building strength up around that PCL that wasn't surgically repaired and every year that goes by

22:07and now he's working out with the same guy's marshal on lawyers working out with out in California. It only gets better and stronger and he's going to be more of a two way tight end trusted more inside the 10 yard line and it's all systems go with Kincaid. It's all systems go with DJ Moore. Finally, a wide receiver one that he can trust. First one since Stefan Digs, you know, fewer snaps for Keon Coleman. All this stuff, you know, a healthier, a little Shakir. All this stuff, your mind starts to spin about how how good Josh Allen could be this year. So it's tough. It's a tough situation. There's heavy debates at player profile are essentially on our draft kit. We've got Allen and then on my personal cheat sheet. I've got to do it. I got to do it. I got to do it. All right. God has set a quiet off season, but I think it's prime to explode other than say Sequan Barkley who's boring now. I'm Mary and Hampton. Mary and Hampton. There's been injuries. I think multiple injuries throughout training camp for Keaton Mitchell, but nothing about

23:13a Mary and Hampton. Harbaugh is really stingy with his praise. Right. And but except the Trey Harris. Right. They like Trey Harris a lot over there. Hampton. I feel like that's these are the types of guys I got to get in the second round, man, because as soon as we get out of this area, if I leave the second round, I don't have at least one running back. I'm hurt. Oh yeah, 100% this year. Like you were mentioned in two, historically, you know, the reason why zero RB or the reason why hero RB worked so well is because there was a lot of upside in the middle rounds. And like that is not the case this year. There is some upside at running back in the middle rounds, but it's not loaded up like it once was. So I do think coming out of those first two rounds and having a top dude is helpful. Now if you're talking about Hampton, I mean, it's really set up here. Keaton Mitchell, the fact that he's hurt, he's suffering from that pesky case of undisclosed is not a surprise. What was his MO in Baltimore come in, the electric get hurt. And it's just because he's undersized.

24:19I'm not trying to knock the dude. He's playing running back in the NFL at his size. And his name is not Divan HN. But you do have, I mean, you got to Alicangold there now. So that could help the cause a little bit. But Hampton, he has no issue with size. He can certainly catch the ball out of the backfield if necessary. He's going to run between the tackles. And I know people think of Mike McDaniel as this mastermind passing guru. This dude runs the football. He runs the crap out of the football. That's what he loves to do. So this sets up really well. And yeah, um, you know, Kamani Videll is there. Okay, great. Keaton Mitchell is there. Cool. He's going to get a handful of touches each game. But the bulk of this work goes to Marin Hampton. Look at his career at North Carolina. Have it up on the screen. You tell me how he could do better. You tell me how, I mean, improving the touchdown total, doubling it and then improving it again, the reception total, you're quadrupling it. And then adding it to adding another 10 on top of that. Yards per reception going up every year,

25:19target share, spiking, finishing with 1600 plus rushing yards at North Carolina in his final year. I mean, one of one of the least discussed college statistical profiles has to be a mayor in Hampton's just because oh, he got drafted in the first round. He's an athlete. But I also like to just zoom out and see the full picture on him, just to remind everybody how good of a situation this is with an offensive line that's getting healthier and a running back this absolutely prime to explode. This is the type of running back you're looking for. Soft more running back with first round draft capital and stuff. The every checks every box, box stuffing guy. Yeah. Why not? Why not, man? In terms of sleep or wide receivers, I know we should definitely talk about about struggling because it's just very interesting to see how high he's going. Someone that was in a rookie draft said that he went at the 103 recently in a rookie draft. That was curious to me. That was interesting. It's a great. But in terms of like guys that are mid round guys or early mid round guys

26:24that are moving up still consistently the drum beat. I think the guy that's been moving up most consistently at wide receivers going to be Jalen Waddle. I think Jalen Waddle at the wide receiver position and then Deandre Swift at the running back position. They're just sort of marching up, marching up, up, up, up, up, up. I think I was ahead of the curve. I've had Waddle at 16 for quite some time. Nice. The story just checks out, right? They trade a first round pick. They're not doing so for him to be one in one A with Cortland Sutton or even second fiddle to Cortland Sutton. Who by the way is getting up there in age? And he's one dimensional. Jalen Waddle is the most multi-dimensional wide receiver in the league. And it's like one of those things where I, you know, you could paint a picture here. It's like what if Michael Thomas had speed, you know, he's not, he's not the same size profile necessarily as Michael Thomas, but couldn't he play that role in that offense? But with run after catchability, yes. And it's not Sean Payton calling the shots. Obviously, Davis Webb, but Davis Webb is now a protégé. So that role in that offense is going to be very, very important.

27:25Bohnix continuing his ascension as a, as a starting quarterback in the NFL. I mean, obviously there should be plenty of volume there. I do expect them to lean on the run game. I do expect Sean Payton to annoy the crap out of us for fantasy. You know, it'll be dobbins. Then it'll be a little bit of Harvey and then every so often maybe Jonah shows up just to get our hopes up a little bit before he dashes them. But I think the one constant feature, the one consistency here will be Waddle. Now, I've been on the other end of the spectrum with Deandre Swift. I don't see it. Last year was a career year for him. I totally get that. I know Ben Johnson wants to set offensive records this year. Good luck on now. When I love to see it, I want to see a 4000 yard passer for the, the bears first and foremost, but I just have major concerns of Deandre Swift just being a Tony Pollard like player. When I say that, I don't mean the exact same profile as Pollard. I mean, Tony Pollard for the last couple of years. Matt, if you drafted Tony Pollard, RB 23, you know where he finished? RB 23, right? Like there was no upside. There was no ceiling. Like sure, he'll get you a thousand

28:27yards. Sure, he'll be out there touching the ball 250 times, but there was no ceiling. And that's my concern with Deandre Swift at his price point. He's going in the fourth round. If you were telling me he was going in the sixth or seventh round, like he historically would have at this type of profile, I would be fine with it. But it's at the fourth round price point, him and David Montgomery, that I've just been backing off on. So I get it. I understand what people are going after because of the position, but he has been a player I've been avoiding. Whereas Waddle, I'm definitely in on. That's where the upside is with Swift. Is all that touchdown equity that he's going to be getting because Monanguy is not even healthy. And even when he is, he's a platter. He may be a platter, but he's a platter who saw his much red zone work over the second half of the season as DeAndre Swift did. I don't think he will. This is why we play the game, right?

30:30This is one of those hidden news items where the guys week to week, which is really month to month, and it's a hyper extension and it just gets filed away. It's like, wait a second, is he even going to be active week one? And then DeAndre Swift comes out and has a huge game. The thing in these manage leagues is as long as the guy has a big week one, you can go ahead and trade him if you want. You don't really believe in him. That's the nice thing about like, where super high versus consensus on Justin Herbert. And we have Justin Herbert projected for the most fantasy points among quarterbacks in week one. So even if you're like, man, I reached for Herbert, you could always get out after week one, but I would suggest not a lot of people draft a week one, but it's nice to get that win. And then you can also trade if you're in a manage league. So that's, I think Herbert's one of those guys and Swift, Swift for me, he's still young enough where I don't think that he is quite that Pollard level, just a carbon copy of a running

31:41back, right? A placeholder running back. I think he has more, he certainly had dynamism coming out. And he's not so old that it's all been burned up because he hasn't been the featured guy year in year out. He's in Detroit. It was David Montgomery like you mentioned. So I'm on the bull's case for DeAndre Swift. And part of that is I just don't respect Monanguy. That's a big part of it. I have to admit it. And so there was a little bit of bias there where, okay, my priors already, we were down on Monanguy. Now I hear he's week to week month to month. And I'm like, all right, well, this is this is all I needed. They didn't keep anybody else. It's just Rochon. I mean, they did sign Savonok Med and I think they have another back on their practice squad. But that's usually a hand tip right there if you have any any concerns about it, dude. Oh, I handed that Monanguy's going to be back. Yeah. I mean, the Lions had three other running backs in addition to Pichekko and Gibbs. And then Pichekko goes to IR. I didn't that obviously wasn't coincidental. Now they did, like I said, they went out. They signed Savonok Med, but keeping two running backs on a on a practice squad in

32:46this era isn't outlandish. The Eagles did the same thing. And I'm sure other teams, I just don't know there's so many time practice squad signings over the last couple days. But we'll see. I just, you know, I look at the bulk of the career for Deandre Swiftening looks like just a jag type to me. I know he does. I know he does. Damn it. Damn it. I know. This is why we play, man. If we all agreed, they would this game would be stupid. Yeah, I would love to draft a more exciting player, but a lot of those guys in that zone are on teams that I don't really want that much exposure to. Yeah. Breese Hall is also hurt. And I'd rather with Breese Hall throw a dart on a guy like Braille and Alan lay you know, that's when they were well held at consensus on a guy like Braille and Alan because that's the move in my opinion is to go that route with the Jets. I'm very excited about this actually not being a bad team for fantasy. There's a lot of these teams I think like the Cardinals, I think are going to revert back to being not a great team for fantasy. The idea,

33:47they're going to lead the league and you know, pass rate in the second half maybe, but probably not. Right. Now they have Al's year and they've drafted a running back in the top five. This is this is a signal just like Houston sending a signal. We're not going to turn up the dials on the passing game this year guys. I'm getting the sense that the Jets are ready to just let Geno smoke a cigarette and go out there and it's going to be Geno Cutler. I'm excited for that. The problem is and Rich Rebar mentioned this on yesterday's show that the way they're by week lines up. It lines up perfectly for club Nick in December. Yeah, well, I expect to see that. And honestly, like, so I was explaining them to somebody in a homely, you know, like, I'd really know much about. I know he went to Clemson. I was like, well, he's kind of like a more polished man's L in terms of like he's going to and I know listeners going to go immediately to the worst part of that, but it's backyard football, it's improvisation, it's out of structure, and granted we didn't see a lot of that with club Nick last year because he was hurt, but he's

34:49very mobile. He can be very fun at times and then he can screw it all up in an instant, right? Right. But fantasy wise, honestly, the last month of the season, especially you're a super flex person, I've just happened in the back of my mind, you know, if they start losing, they look like they're going to be on the clock. They have two, how many first rounds, two first rounds next year? There's an interesting quarterback class. I'm not going to pretend to know who's going to be the number one because if you would have told me this time last year, the Fernando Mendoza was the number one pick in the draft, I would have thought you were crazy. So is it, you know, is it manning or more probably, but you know, if it's saying or anybody, I don't know, there's some rando guy that we're not talking about right now could be. You know, manning could keep staying in school. He could. He could. None of his family members have come out early. He'd be the first one. Yeah, it's definitely you're not incentivized to come out. That's for sure. Carson Beck made a lot of money at the college level. Made a lot, a lot of money. I'm not that I'm sure Arch is hurting

35:49in that department. He's doing great. If there's a person in our society, if we could just pick a guy made just to, you know, walk in his shoes for a day, I got to think arch manning would be up there. It would have you that would be a fun day. We would all have a fun day doing that. That would just just hanging out in Texas, just hanging out. Everybody loves you. Big man don't get me lots of family support. You have like a family money, they set for life. Everything every, every day is just a gift and a bonus. It's like great. You know, I mean, and then you can play football. That kind of level and you're so big that they can't really touch you and you could do whatever you want of the football field. I mean, that would be, that would be kind of cool. Another one of those news items we talked about with the Moninguy and others just not get so much happening with Josh Jacobs and all these other situations that a guy like Calvin Austin goes down and it just doesn't move the needle, but it does mean something for a guy like Malachi fields. And if you're, if the other guy in your passing game is coming back from a torn ACL and now all of a sudden the guy that was supposed to be the starting slot receiver, he goes down and as a rookie to put a rookie big bodied wide receiver out wide against NFL alpha corners, that's setting them up to fail. There's been many, many wide receivers that have just never fired because they were banished to that area. It's not just like a key on Coleman, but some players that were probably could have had quality careers if they were handled differently earlier in their career. Things just might break right from Malachi fields in New York. He's huge too. I got to interview him at the combine and my experience at the combine.

37:53I never knew who I'm going to get. I'm just at like a little table with my little radio setup and just recording interviews, rapid fire. And all of a sudden sort of last second, he comes walking over and I'm telling you like he just blocked out the light. Like the dude is enormous. You can see that that now obviously do we expect him to separate it will probably not, but when you can play up above the rim, I think that that bodes positively and honestly, he already had that job regardless of the injury to Calvin Austin. Calvin Austin, if anything, opened the door for Darnell Mooney, I guess, but he was already beating out there. You're slated for that gig. Well, no, the outside receiver, but it allows him to have more freedom to move inside. I mean, they will have Mooney. I'm sure they'll try and get Odell involved in some way, shape or form. Oh, that's right. Odell Beckham. He made it. He got his number back too. But either way, you know, you went out and bulb and now you have and you have an alpha who, so you don't have to be key on Coleman in that situation. You have a true alpha here. I know some people are a little

38:57bit nervous about neighbors for week one week one. I'll come and go and I'll be water under the bridge and I'll be back out there and be his same old self, rack and up targets all over the field. I'll lodge a march. He's got that to his game and we're going to forget all about it and that's going to be good for fields. I think we're going to see our fair share of above the rim plays in the in the red area of the field, especially in the end zone. My buddy, thanks for spending time with us. They pushed all in. I think there's a fantastic team, but they're pushing all in yet again and yet I don't think they win the Super Bowl, but also here's something else though. I will say this. I didn't buy it with Ty Simpson during the draft process and then I watch him play in the preseason. I get it. I understand completely now. I think he's actually going to be a pretty darn good pro. Super flexed on us. He leagues. It's not too late to trade for Ty Simpson.
