The MLB gambling podcast on the sports game podcast network is brought to you by the SBN app got over picks and podcasts for free with the SGP and app. And welcome everyone to the MLGM podcast here on the sports game podcast. So now we're currently Thursday afternoon, September 3rd or end five PM Eastern time. I'm Raskar Michelle joining my long day. We're going to break down the Friday baseball games. Have a bonus game. There's a double header. So we actually have 16 games. Instead of 15, what on the as going with you? What's up? Not bad, bro. Not bad. Looking forward to some football tonight. Got a few baseball games that are be going on also. So yeah, it's a good time of the year. Yeah, I definitely looking forward to it. Of course, college football already started, but there were a couple of games tonight. Besides the Georgia Tech game, I believe every FPS team is favored by about 90. But if you want to watch the games you can, there's a lot of options there. I believe UMass and Rutgers starts in like an hour. Yeah, I bet you miss 28 and a half. I think a lot of people are UMass today.
At least for the sake of Rutgers not winning by 29 plus points or whatever. Because Rutgers, one by four touchdowns is a lot. The Rutgers winning by four touchdowns and still not covering is pretty funny. So I think that's the outcome people want. So yeah, we'll see if Rutgers calls off the dogs at the end. But either way, I know that Colby and the guys did like UMass as well in that one. Before we get into the actual games though for the card or minor to check out the free roll contest for football, which is back. Take every game a TS for chance to one of the $4,000 and are today exports. Game box comm slash free roll once again free contest there. Also check out the fundraiser they were having for Columbia to be able to rebuild it after the her after the earthquake ended up kind of decimating it. Check out the links for the game box comm slash relief to help out today. So moving on into the games for the Friday card first game. We're going to go with a double header and go with the Tigers taking on the Guardians of makeup game from June 14th. You have Monteiro taking on Griffin. Now for the match up here, the Guardians are minus 145.
Tigers are plus 120 overunders at seven and a half. We saw the Guardians already lose today as they lost to the Blue Jays six to three. As for Detroit, they don't play today. So they have an advantage in terms of rest for this makeup game. Longtailless you. I know Griffin in general has been good. He's 14. He's 15 and four. Monteiro has been pretty good as well. Both E arrays are basically similar are almost identical between them. What are your thoughts on this game? Yeah, I looked at the under in this one sky. I mean, I think that if you look at Monteiro, he's got a pretty up and down August 05031 is in his five August starts. He's got a low K rate. But I don't even trust the Guardians to do anything. I mean, today, I think they scored three runs. They didn't score until maybe like six or seven. That was a pretty game up into that point. But I don't really trust the offense of either side. I mean, both of these teams are under in six out of last 10. Detroit score two runs a lesson four to last five games. So I like Griffin.
He's got two or less in four straight. Not a lot of hits allowed in that span as well. 3.21 E array overall. I think Cleveland's playing well. I would take them here, but the under is probably my better bit. I mean, three of the last five meetings have went under and it's been around this number. So I think that's a good bit to start off the car with the under. Yeah, I think I agree with you. I think at the end of the day, I'm looking at a spot where I don't know if I trust either offence and Cleveland. It's kind of cooled off. The Detroit doesn't play well, but Monteiro's been OK. And I do think that Griffin, I can go OK as well. I don't mind the under with you at seven and a half. Maybe a first five under, but for the actual side, I think it's Tigers are passed. I think plus one, 20 is just too big for this matchup. So I think we agree on this one. Moving on to game two into this double header. We have a matchup between four of the pictures here. We have Sears taking on. We don't know a six point seven five E array,
but then again looking at his actual numbers. He hasn't exactly pitched much this season. He's made two outings. So nothing really read into there. He has yet to start a game. So see if they use an opener for him there, but for Cleveland, we don't know for the pricing into the second game. You have the guardians who of course are favored again. The minus 130 Tigers were plus 109 and we have no total and no run line. Alante, what are your thoughts on this one? Yeah, you know, I mean, really thumb for me is always like to watch the first game. If I can make a bit on the second game, obviously that's why you know, the lines is what it is. But again, I would tend to go towards an under here between both of these teams. The guardians have the advantage with the bullpins. I was at that. So they're a little bit more. I probably would, you know, be more reluctant to take their side in the second game because of their bullpins depth and how good it is. Not sure about the Tigers. So it would be Cleveland or past, let me dependent on what the number is, but it's kind of hard to bet the second game without no without no one to result at the first game when they're going back to back days. I mean, when I'm back to back, you know, double hitters.
Yeah, I think for me, I'll go with the split. I'll think Tigers game one. I'll go for Cleveland game two, but I'm probably not going to bet game two without knowing who's pitching in this game. Yeah, definitely not betting on this game without knowing who's pitching. I'm moving on to the next game. Brewers taking on the V. Reds. For this one, you have Drow Han taking on a louder. Before the pricing here, Milwaukee, of course, is favored because they're good and the Reds are not. Other minus one, 53. Reds are plus one, 43 overunders and nine and a half. A Drow Han's been fine this season allowed to re-know in general has not been very good. 5.1.1. ERA however, 3.35 ERA at home. So he hasn't better at home. However, he has allowed a total of, I believe that is 10 earned run over his last three starts. But the Reds have actually won those games as they've scored a total of 27 runs in his last three starts. A Drow Han in general has been fine. A 3.75 ERA better on the road. Recently, though, he's been good. I guess allowed three earned than his last two starts combined. For me, though, I do wonder based on the actual spot, the brewers are wrapping up a four game set in Riggly.
Where they might win 3.1. Is this just a great letdown spot? I understand that they're going to get the one seat anyway because the Dodgers have fallen off a cliff. They are about dead, at least pushed against the Cubs, chopping the four game set. They're going to win the annual central. Is this a very good letdown spot for Milwaukee? After potentially winning three to four against your main division, Emma says it might be it might be a letdown spot here. So I don't mind actually the Reds at plus money. Having said that, I wanted the over but nine and a half does feel kind of high. But I get it because a louders had so many high scoring games lately. So I'm going to go for it. You know what? Random spin on the Reds and I'll go with the over. But I see runs. I do wonder if you traveled the Riggly and you basically wrap up the division with like three, four weeks left in the season. Are you just going to overlook Cincinnati? You might. I mean, I'm not going to pay one 53 on the brewers here. So I'll be different. Give me the Reds money one. Yeah, yeah, I don't disagree with the side as far as the letdown spot.
That's a good angle to go with. I agree with you when he told me I like the over a lot here. I know 10 and 10 is a lot of runs to score to get us over this number. But when you look at both pictures, pretty volatile. I mean, louders given up between two and four runs in his last seven. So anywhere in that stretch, I mean, hit rate is up. So a lot of the times he's, you know, allowing a lot of people on base. Milwaukee's, you know, one of the best as small ball in it. So, you know, Johans is solid, but you know, it's nothing to write home about. And I'm looking at it. Milwaukee's actually over in seven of the last 10. Cincinnati's five plus runs in what three to last five. Milwaukee scored 18 runs in the last two. Like so I think we can get over this number pretty easily. As long as both offense is due their job. I mean, Cincinnati's offense, you know, it's been okay lately. So if they can do their job, I think the Brewer's can handle the risk. So I like over I like over nine. Yeah, I like that too. Moving on to the next game, Angels taking on the pirates. You have Johnson taking on Jones for the pricing here.
The pirates are favored. Their minus 190, Angels or plus 175 over under eight and a half. The under is minus one 12. So bit of juice there on the under. So Johnson the season mainly not been good. Earray over five, Earray over six on the road. However, he's been great recently. In fact, he's allowed less than three earned runs in five straight starts. So he's been quite good. In fact, the entire month of August, 26 and a third, 1.71 ERA. So quietly been really good. Jones is good stuff. However, you hear that all the time for pictures, you just don't get enough outs because recently he has not been very good. In fact, the pirates have actually been awful when he's pitched. They have lost seven straight starts that he's made. So look, Pittsburgh's been good offensively lately. That's where five again today they beat San Francisco. The angels we saw lose and extra innings to the anchies because the bullpen is useless. Having said that minus 190 is a gregious like Johnson's been good. And Jones has really not.
If you want to go angels first five and avoid the bullpen's, I don't mind that either. But Johnson's probably worth backing based on his form for the last months. I'll go angels first five. Yeah, I completely agree. I mean, you, I mean, you said pretty much everything that I was going to mention with Johnson. He's been great in August. Does have some more concerns though. I think you probably need to clean it up. But I think 190 on Pittsburgh is outrageous. Jones is given no real length. Innings have kind of fluctuated. He's only got out of the fifth inning once in the last six. So that's right where we want to be as far as the first five with Johnson. So I thought I was pretty selfless. I think that's where you broke it down perfectly. I mean, Johnson has allowed three hits or less and four of his last five, two earned a list in every start in August. So I think the first five is a lot is a value. I would even take a nibble on the full game. I don't just the bullpen and all, but two and I mean minus 190 is kind of insane for Pittsburgh. I know they ain't just bad there was, but they've been in a couple of these games. They were up on the Yankees. I think in all of the games for a little bit.
So not the last game, but they were tied to one to one to one textures. Yeah. So I mean, I, I don't get 190. I mean, the pirates aren't playing that good of baseball. I think they were five and five, they're five and five or less. The point is they're scoring some rooms though. So the angels can score their screwed, but Jones isn't worth being minus 190. Yeah, he's not. Yeah, I don't think you ease worth that. So let's go with the, let's go with the angels first five to play it safe. Yeah. Moving on to the next game on the slate. We have arguably the series of the weekend. You have the braves taking on the Phillies, definitely with the pitching matchup over the weekend. You've sail taking on Sanchez, which should be a lot of fun. For the pricing here, you have the Phillies who are minus 106, braves are minus 101, and they over under it six and a half, a very low total here, especially in citizens bank. So I'll see how the offense is looking this one. Now for the updated stats pitching wise, I mean, both pictures are really good. Like Miss is going to win the saw, young, but I imagine sail and Sanchez in some order are going to finish two and three.
Now they have six games left in the regular season or is that seven? They've six left, no, sorry, they've seven left and currently it lends us four games up. So Phillie can really just cut the deficit in the division pretty handily if they win the series. And you're looking at sail who we saw shut out the Dodgers complete game shut out there. Sanchez in general has been good. We know he had some, I'd say mid season woes, but he's bounced back at least recently. He had one best starting against the Cardinals in his last home start, but that's the only time he's allowed more than one run in his last four starts. So he's been quite good at home. He's 11 and one with a 1.680 array. Like he's really, really good. I mean, they give you a coin flip because it is a coin flip. I don't know if I really like either side here. A part of me thought about the over just because six and a half in citizens bank is crazy. But like I understand it because sail has been incredible. And Sanchez has gone back on track. I won't point out though that sail did throw 109 pitches in his last start.
So maybe we'll see him have a little bit of, I'd say a lesser workload. But I don't know if it's true. Like if it went into wins this series and they go up, but let's just say five games in division. And you kill off three head to head games. So like you're in a great spot. Like this is a very important series for both teams. More so for Philly, but still I'm going to ask you though because this feels like a coin flip. And I might rather just watch this game. Yeah, that's definitely what I'm doing. You know what? I think one of the better bits is something that you kind of coined on the podcast is the no home run. I think that's going to be the best bit with both of these pitches going rather than betting, you know, the under. I mean, six and a half is a low total, but both of these guys have been unreal. If you look at even Chris sale against against Philly, the last 13 innings pitch versus Philly, six hits, one run, 16 K. So he's been pretty good. And Sanchez is one start versus Atlanta in April. He threw six scoreless. So I mean, maybe two, I think maybe you get a two one type of score or maybe one.
Like we saw with the Dodgers and against sale whenever we saw that. I mean, it really was just like first at that for I think Drake Baldwin. Like he went yard and that was like I was the only was first pitch of the game. First pitch to win nobody scored a sense. Nope. And so I like the I like the fact that both of these pitches are on the air game. Both of these teams fighting for something is going to be a great series. And Philly, I know it's going to be a lot of fans out there this weekend. So I'm just looking forward to watching it. I would I mean, if I had to do anything, I would maybe go first five under. Six and a half is really low. So I don't know you get the extras and while things happen. So I like to know home running the game. Scott. OK, I can get behind that. It's fun. But yeah, I think it'll be a fun game. I'll be watching it as a bit of a preview for playoff baseball. And of course, your chance to win a thousand dollar NFL future with Welcome back everyone to the on the game podcast finish going through the first couple games on the card for the Friday card. Time to move on into the next game. We have the Red Sox taking on the Orioles two teams who are really not good over the last couple of days. The Orioles lost a series to Colorado and the one game they won was arguably catch of the year. So that was definitely a series they weren't good in and Boston was horrible pitching wise against Seattle in Fenway. Now for this one though for the match up, you have for the Red Sox Suarez taking on bass. I feel bad for bass. He's kind of in the same boat as baby who has an e-ray of like four but he's five and 14 but they just lose every start that he has but his overall pitching numbers aren't that bad. And Suarez is really not been that good lately for the pricing though the Red Sox are favor minus 115
Baltimore is plus 105 and the over under is at eight and a half of for the scan. So for this one, Baz at home has been slightly better. Recently, he's been okay, not great. I mean, he's allowed three runs or less than three straight but still he is allowed 13 earned runs over his last four starts, which is not really ideal. I like the over in the game. I think Baz can give up some damage. Boston's offense even in that Seattle series was still fine. The issue was it couldn't pitch, but Suarez in general was really not good. The last couple of outings. He went five and a third against the Yankees gave up six runs. Miami shut down. They stay Arizona at home, five and a third, four earned. He's kind of alternating good and bad starts, but he's not going any distance. And Boston's bullpen has not been good lately. So I like the over. I think eight and a half's kind of low and I think Baz and Suarez can give up. Let's say three a piece and you're in a good spot. Give me the over eight and a half completely agree with you there. I like, you know, Baz has been decent outside of one bad start in his last two months.
You saw that at home Baltimore's playing well at X4, five plus runs in three at our last five games. Suarez has got four plus and two of his last three to end August eight to nine walk the K ratio in his last three. I mean, Boston's just not been good. That's a late one and four last five. 41 runs given up in the last four sky 41 runs. That's a lot of runs. 10.1 by my math. If I'm correct. I I can't see a world where this doesn't go over over this number. Both offenses playing OK. You know, Boston plays well on the road. So I think both of these teams are going to see. I think we're going to see fireworks in Baltimore and definitely after the game. Because I think Baltimore's going to win a game. So I like them to get it in. Yeah. Moving on to the next game. Cubs taking on the the Marlins for this one. You have a matchup between Imanaga and junk for the pricing here. The Cubs are minus 120. Marlins are plus 110. Over under is at seven and a half.
So Imanaga to start off the season was very good. Since then, it has mainly been ugly courtesy of the usual reason why he struggles. The man cannot stop allowing home runs. The man gives up a crazy amount of home runs every year. And long time and ask you right now, he has thrown 150 and a third innings. Keep that in mind, 150 innings. Do you want to guess how many home runs he's allowed? Well, I will tell you this. I'm going to try to do some quick man. But I know he's had six games with straight where he's allowed a home run. He had 11 in that spin. So that's that's about. I can't if you just take it, let's say he go five and you don't have to add this like two per basically. Yes. And so if you if you do that, I would say about 37. You're very close. He's he's allowed 33. Oh, okay. I knew it was. I knew it was outrageous. Now, Pigeon regularly doesn't help because of the winds blowing out your screwed. I mean, it is what it is.
But yeah, the home runs are a problem. Give up six earned last start since an anti give up give up three home runs there. He's allowed eight home runs in his last four starts. So yeah, not in good form. As for junk, he's been fine. A 4.11 ERA better at home. Pretty good lately though. A last two starts. He's gone at nine to third to two earned runs. So junk's been decent. Now, I know Miami at home is a lot better than Miami on the road. So Miami might be backable in this one. On the other hand, though, the Cubs are cheap because they know that Emonog is not been good lately. And I said a second ago with a couple games to go with Milwaukee. If you win your series against Chicago, do you immediately know show a game against the bottom feeder? If you're the Cubs and you lose three and a four to Milwaukee, of course, we don't know what's going to happen on Thursday. Do we think the Cubs respond well against Miami? Or do they just roll over because the division's over and you're going to get the one wild card spot? Like, I don't know. I think I can go either way, but I'm not going to back Emonog. I'll go for Miami a plus one time.
Yeah, I like Miami as well back at home. They are 42 and 27 at home, about 500 last year. But a lot of that had to do with them going on the road. I really don't like the, you know, nine of 13. They've lost nine of 13 Chicago. And we talked about Emonog. So I don't have to worry about, you know, regurgitating that was a mixed bag. And August, we went over to home run issues. His endings have actually fluctuated as well. So now that you, when you talk about all of the things that you're not winning at the vision, like, do you kind of dial these guys back? Like, I don't really know what the, you know, what the plan is. I mean, you could say the same thing for going forward with like me is Henderson, like with those some of those guys, like, are they going to, you know, rest up for the post season? We kind of really don't know. So a little bit unknown here, but I mean, Miami at home has been, you know, really good. Stowers are hitting the ball well. Junk's endings have fluctuated, but he's been okay. I looked in over as well, Scott, but I think the side is, is plus one team with, with Miami at home. At home, yeah, or good home team, moving on to the next game, giants taking on the Mets, Mets to the Enkeys of Salt.
They went to one, two out of three against Tampa. I appreciate it. For this one, though, you have Wilkinson taking on McLean, haven't seen McLean in a while. At least I don't really remember him pitching that off. And unless I just block, I just block out the Mets. I just walked him in good. He's very good. I just haven't paid attention to the Mets. But yeah, I thought he might have been injured. He wasn't. He just been amazing. I've flown the last like month or two. Wilkinson bit of an unknown overall this season, not great 4.63 array. However, made his best start last time out. Six innings two earned against the dime backs. It was at home, but still for the pricing, Mets are a decent favorite about minus one seventy two. Giants are plus one fifty eight. Overrunner isn't eight and a half. Give him the Mets minus one and a half at plus one twenty five. McLean has been amazing. So I thought he just might have been injured, but I guess I've been zoning out on the Mets. He's allowed to earn than his last four starts combined. So he's been great. Wilkinson in general, bit of an unknown and the Mets offense got going against Tampa as they won two out of three. I'm going Mets minus one twenty five. They're a bad team, but you know what?
I do think McLean can bring some very, very dangerous strikeout stuff to this Giants offense. Give me the Mets minus one and a half at plus money. Yeah, absolutely. I agree with you. Scott. I mean, McLean, he's been lights out. I mean, you know, numbers that he's got a 13 scoreless innings pitch street going. But I will say he does have one flaw in his game. Kind of got some retro issues. He's allowed. What is this? Three plus walks in three of his last five. So kind of got to clean that up. You know, Wilkinson, I like Wilkinson. I think he'll be good for San Francisco. I mean, just a small sample, but he's been okay. I think you showed the flashes against Arizona and San Francisco. It's not really a play against San Francisco. It's more so a play against Wilkinson going on the road. I don't think he can go fire for fire with with McLean. So I agree with you. I think this ends maybe like three, one, four, one, something like that. I really think that the mitts offense has been. It's been a really roller coaster. Remember, at the start of the season, they were like all the way down and they rose up when they were on that streak. And now they're just kind of like still up and down. So I don't really trust the mitts of tune,
but in this matchup, when McLean on the mound, who I know can limit the opposition, I'll take them here, minus one and a half as well. Yeah. Moving on to the next game, you have the twins taking on the white socks. For this one, you have a matchup between Matthews and Fetty. For the pricing here, you have the twins who are dogs, the white socks are minus one, 25 or 124. I see the twins at plus one 15 over under nine and a half in this one. So Fetty, the season, you know what? He's been okay. Good for him. He's allowed two runs in his last three starts combined. So he's been solid. Zebi though has been up and down all year. I mean, on the road, he stinks. He has a six plus a year right on the road. However, he's been nails lately. A last three starts, he's allowed a total of three earned runs in basically 21 and a half. So he's been great. In fact, Minnesota has been winning all the starts. They won six straight, that he has started. So I don't mind back in the trend here with Minnesota plus money, but I don't mind the under at nine and a half. You know what? Zebi and Fetty have both been good and Bucks and Stolenjord.
So Minnesota's offense could definitely take the game off on the road. Give me the under. I don't go for Minnesota. Yeah, that's not exactly as well. Three of the last five meetings went under. I mean, Fetty's been super solid. You know, White Sox have one six at the last 10. They won actually one three at the last five meetings versus Minnesota. And I think those coincided with the three games that went under also. You talked about Matthews. He started August down a bit, but you know, he had seven earned in his first two starts, but he ended well three combined his last three. Serviceable on the road. You talk about the offense without Bucks and completely every. I think this ends up in a, you know, four three type of game, three two type of game. I think this is going to be a low scoring game. Yeah, I think I feel the same way with you. So I'll go with the under as well. I'm moving on to the next game. Raise taking on the Rangers for this one. You have Martinez taking on a rocker for the price saying the razor minus 120. Rangers are plus 110 overunders at eight in this game. So I'm going to let you go first, but at first client, the line looks pretty cheap.
Yeah, I agree. It's pretty cheap. I mean, this won't be the first game. This will be the second game of the seven game road trip ahead for Tampa. There are 15 and four last 19 games on the road. You know, rockers six, six, he already have six in August 4.4 overall. I don't think that's going to both will against Tampa. Martinez has been better on the road lately. Six earned in his last five on the road. First 17 is last five at home. The open and shut case for Tampa. Thank you. Sure. Yeah, moving on. I agree with you. Nothing else to add. Tampa's better. I think the price is too cheap. I'm moving on to the next game. Dying backs taking on the Astros. You have Kelly taking on Javier for the price saying Houston's minus 125. Dying backs for plus 116. Over under is it eight and a half? So we saw the Astros jump on Castillo today. I mean, it makes sense. Castillo's saying Kelly, though, has been better lately, but still not good. He had allowed six earned and back to back starts. Then he gave up three against the Cubs.
And then no runs against the Giants. Now, I know the Giants aren't very good, but at least he had a scoreless outing there. Will he replicate that? No. I don't think he's going to. I think he's going to have some problems here. How many years? Nothing good either, though. A 6.45 ERA. He's allowed at least three earned runs. And I've got to pull this up here. He's allowed at least three earned runs in four was last five starts. So give me the over in this game. I think you can argue that Houston should win it. I'm not going to get into sides. Because I don't only trust either team, but eight and a half minus one and 15. I don't mind that. Give me the over. Yeah, I like Houston as well. I will say that, you know, me and Mal kind of called the, uh, called the game today. Like it was just a perfect spot, just to keep Vegas, Theo. But I would more so good, but a team told over versus that. I mean, Houston scored at least six runs and what three at our last five. I just don't think that Kelly will be able to do anything like you talked about it. If you look at his walks, he's got 22 walks in his last six. The reason why I went away from the full game over because that's originally what I looked at.
I look at the airs and offense. I mean, two runs are less and four straight. I know how the air has issues, but I'm just going to take them out of it. And I think that Houston will be able to show Kelly. So I'm going over the team total for Houston. One of his picks on the car. I got that. Yeah. I think Kelly's going to struggle in the spot. He also walks a bunch of guys. Yeah, 22 in his last six. Yeah. Moving on to his next game, the blue J's taking on the royals. Blue J's trying to get back into it. Tyrone's pitching. I haven't heard that name in a while. Taking on a Lynch for the pricing here. The royals are favored on this game. They're laying about one 15. Blue J's or plus one of five over under is a nine and a half in this game. So Tyrone, we saw actually pitch well. Then he got injured. He hasn't pitched in basically a month. But for this one, look, his overall season number stink. Like we know this. Lynch, though, is going for Kansas City. He's been good. Basically near a three. Not going much length, though. He starts, but basically never goes five innings. So there's a lot of Kansas City bullpen expected for this one. Now the royals, the last time these teams played, they were in great form.
They had one nine in a row and they look good against Toronto. However, they've not been good lately. They lost the first two games to Miami by three runs and Toronto has been playing better recently. So I'm on the blue J's. Actually, I get why the royals were favored if this game was taking place like two weeks ago. But the royals are still a bad baseball team and they've reverted back to being bad. And you know what Toronto, whether they make it or not, they're trying. She were trying for a wild card spot. I'll go for the plus money with the better team. Give me Toronto money one at plus one of five. Yeah, I wanted to take the royals, but I looked at the price and thought they should be reversed. And that's how I feel. And I wanted to, I wanted to royals at plus money instead, but like I can't get, I mean, the blue J's are playing amazing. They won another one today. I think they're hoping it's not allowed to run in like the last 14 to 30 anything to something like that. So they're playing well. I mean, I'm not a guy who usually takes a picture off of injury who come back. He and the entire owns, you know, last speech, like you said, August 10th for arm injury,
especially I don't like that. But I think from a price perspective, the blue J's will have to be the only side that you can bet. I mean, just looking at the actual number, I just think it makes conceptual sense to go with Toronto in this. Moving on to the cardinals, taking on the Rockies, you have a lehi taking on feltener for the pricing cardinals minus 126. Rockies are plus 109 and we have no total and no run line. So look, I have lines available right now on Calche, except I don't believe these lines are actually correct because the cardinals have actually been good against the Dodgers over the last couple of days. In fact, they might sweep the Dodgers. Yeah. The Rockies want to steer against Baltimore, but feltener has not been good. Lay he's been good. The cardinals offense has been mashing. So like, I don't know of minus 126's real or not, full disclosure, but I'm going to grab if it is real because it should be minus 140 and minus 150. So I'm on St. Louis. Yeah. I mean, nothing else to add. I mean, Lehi has been amazing.
Feltener, the complete bait. I mean, look at his walk numbers. If you look at his iron runs, like it's just a complete clown show. I mean, St. Louis has put up really good numbers against a Dodger. So yeah, if that is accurate, that'll probably be like a max bit for me. I just can't believe that's like not like minus 140. Yeah. Bet them around a ball. First five will gain minus one and a half. They might have five runs by the third inning in that game. We'll see. Moving on to the next game, Yankees taking on the Padre. As you're free to taking on Bior for the pricing Yankees are favored in this one. They're laying about 125. Padre is our plus one 15. Over under is at seven and a half. The Yankees won the series against the Angels. They looked horrible for about 80% of it, but you know what? A win's a win. And they got the job done two out of three there, gained one game on Tampa over the last couple of days. But either way, the point is the Yankees have still been, I'd say, okay, lately,
like they beat the Red Sox 3 to 4. And against the Angels, I was very unimpressed, but they won some games. So there's that. San Diego has been okay too. They were in great form. Then they completely fell off over the last week or two. They are two and seven in their last nine. A classic San Diego team, very, very streaky. They either lose seven out of ten or they win eight out of ten. They just kind of go back and forth and then they make the playoffs and they probably lose in the playoffs in the first round. But either way, a viewer we know the season has mainly not been good. Freed has been good so far the season. He's at injury issues, but still a free. It has a 2.8 ERA. Bure ERA though below five is better at home. And recently has been preaching, I'd say pretty well. Tampa, he was okay against three earned in five innings. However, in his last six starts, 31 to third innings, a 3.16 ERA. Not too shabby for a viewer. We know Freed in general is just very, very good.
So I like the under in this game. The angus at a hard time score against the angels. And I think San Diego's bullpen, of course, is a light years better than LAs. I think Bure goes okay. I think Freed goes well and I think we get a rock fight in Petco. So I'm going to go with the under as my thoughts in this game. Seven and a half a minus one ten. Sign me up. I see a classic Petco like three two type game. Yeah, I love the under in the game. Did you hear that boom was saying that, you know, Judge might come back during the next home sting. So that's a positive time when he. Yeah, I mean, they said that, you know, months ago, but still hasn't came to fruition. So I'm going to hold my breath. But I, I mean, they need him in the worst way. I mean, they got to, they got to do something to get some consistent offense going. And I mean, who, who even knows to actually being judged from, you know, but that's all another story. But the game, I like, I like the under. I mean, Bure was been okay post all star. I think he's over six dark. He's been really good. The Yankees bullpen has been really good as it's late to the three of the last three,
four to last five opponents to three runs a fewer. I think that's been impressive. You talked about San Diego two and seven last nine one fifty four. They hit one fifty four runners in scoring position. I don't, I don't think that's, that's good at all. Freeze been really good in August. Didn't allow over one run. It's been good on the road all year. I don't see a world where this doesn't end some type of three two way. Hopefully the Yankees that get it, get it down. But under would be the best bet for me. Yeah, I agree. I'm moving on to the next game athletics taking on the Mariners. You have again, taking on Gilbert for the pricing Seattle's laying two. We sure the A is or plus one eighty one over under nine and a half. Give her take. I'm not laying this with Seattle. Like I think Gilbert's really good. Like I get it. Gilbert's definitely better than again. I do want to point out though Gilbert has been a lot worse at home than on the road. But there's no chance I'm laying this. I gotta go with the athletics for pass.
Yeah, I just would be a complete pass for me. I'm not going to bet on the game, but I cannot take Seattle. Yeah, I can't do that either. Yeah, team total although they've been scoring a lot lately. I mean, 23 runs the last three. Maybe a team total over butler's been hot for the athletics as well. 11 game home. I'm living game hit streak. I think he's like minus one fifty five to get a hit tonight. That's a little that's a little far pitch, but yeah, this it would be athletics or pass. Maybe if you want to go athletics first five or something, but I can't lay that big of a number just so much in the next game. We're going to talk about I just can't lay that big of a number with with the mirrors. Yep. And moving on to the last game. Nationals taking on the Dodgers Dodgers are in free fall right now. It's not going to matter because they're ahead by so much of division. But for reference here, the Dodgers have lost six of their last eight. They play again the night trying to avoid the sweep against St. Louis for the matchup, though, looking at the actual pictures for this game. Sorry, computer's acting up. You have snow taking on Kent in this game. Dodgers are relying about a million other lying minus two seventy five.
Nationals are plus two twenty over under seven and a half. Snell has been amazing. Came back off the I.L. He's been mainly saw young caliber and Kent overall is not good. Is he raised in the mid fives? The Dodgers though simply put have been losing games as massive favorites all week. And the question is, do you want to take the Dodgers at minus one and a half at minus one twenty or make an argument for the nationals or take a total? What are you liking this game? I can't bet the Dodgers. You know, not not. I think this. I get it. I really know. Snell's been amazing. But it wasn't being horrible. It was missing for the last ten. Yeah, a long take disconnected. So I think he's back. Yeah, what's up? You there? All right. So while long take figures out the audio, I'm going to just talk about the game. Dodgers have been bad. If you follow the other show that I do for baseball, at least for the last couple of weeks. Yeah, I ended up feeding the Dodgers with young Moto pitch. I just thought that two seventy was too crazy.
And yet I know he threw through five and they blew the game. So the point is like the Dodgers have been overvalued recently. And the fact is I really do question if they are worth backing at all for the sake of their current form. So I do think that it's definitely a red flag. I'd say laying this number obviously with the Dodgers. Even if you want to go for like a Snell classic, stop the slump moment here where he just pitches a gem, Kent stinks, and the Dodgers end up stealing the game. However, I do think if I had to pick a side, I would go Dodgers minus one and a half. I think Snell is going to go very well. Kent is young. He's still not very good right now and Dodgers bounce back and beat them. They have not been playing well though. So it's probably a pass for me. I really don't see any in my opinion desire to actually jump on the Dodgers with my own money. But if I had to go for a side, it would be the Dodgers because I just simply trust this team a lot more than the nationals with snow on the mound compared to Kent.
Do I like the actual matchup? Once again, no. I think that the Dodgers are probably worthy of being this big of a favorite with Snell pitching and with this current form. The Snell has been unbelievable. I mean, read off the numbers here for Snell. He's allowed three runs in his last four starts combined. The issue though is that the Dodgers ballpen has been really badly and you're looking at the nationals who have an atrocious ballpen. So you might see a bunch of runs if Snell leaves the game in like the fifth or sixth setting because their ballpen has not been good either lately. So I'm looking at runs in this game. I think we might see a bit more than expected. But for the side, it's probably Dodgers, but I'm going to pass. So I think we agree on today. We're just not going to have action on this game. I can't take the Dodgers at that. So it's just to speak of a price for me, especially with the way they've been playing. So it would be nationals or nothing. Like you said, I think I caught the tail end of what you were saying over.
I think it would be the only way I could look at it. Yeah, I think I'm with you, but I'm probably not going to bet that game at all. Welcome back everyone to the end. We'll get in podcast finished going through all the games on the card for Friday. Time to move on into the lock and dog picks. Laun Tay what's going to be your lock and dog for the show.
Yeah, so we're going to stay in Texas for both of these picks. First one minus what I see minus 121 for Tampa. I see what I see 120 is same thing. Yeah, that's way too short. I mean, 15 and four last 19 on the road playing really good baseball. I don't see a reason why they don't put a number on Texas here with rocker who's been you know mediocre at this. So that's going to be my lock for the dog. Give me the Houston Astros plus one of seven minus one and a half. We talked about Kelly. No need to get cute and rewrite it. I mean, 22 walks last six five plus runs to two of his last three. I think he's going to get she over by the Houston offense. Yeah, so for my lock, I did look it up on Calche, by the way. And the price is minus 126. Oh, that's it. So I am going to go to St. Louis at minus 126 in the money line. A Felder has been a mess. And the play he's been good with the Cardinals are on the verge of sweeping the Dodgers. The offense looks good. I'll go for the Cardinals money line as my lock there for the dog. I'm going to go what I want to go with here.
I mentioned the reds, but I'm not going to bother with that. Instead, I think I'm going to go with a small dog, but it still counts all the same. I'm going to go with the, I don't want to go with the met's minus one and a half for the blue jays. Give me Toronto at plus 105. Cancidys cooled off a bit. Oh, I know Tyna's in pitch in the wild, but still I think the royals are laying or it's just insane. They're on the verge of getting swept at home by Miami. Miami is awful on the road and they're on the verge of getting swept. So based on that, I like to form Toronto's in nice series winning against Cleveland in Cleveland for the last couple of days. I'll go for Toronto money line at plus one of five is my dog for the show. Moving on to the home run picks. Lonte, who's going to be your home run pick for the show? Well, I think we probably got a similar mindset, but I'm going to fade in my dog here. I'm going to cast hours since he's coming back. He missed two weeks with some, I don't know if it was an injury or a what, but he missed two weeks and since he's came since he's come back, he's a lot, he's had a hit in every game, but two and he's going back to back home runs.
Hopefully he does in a home run tonight. He waits and holds that out for tomorrow. But we went over Emma Naga's home run issues. If you want to go just a small sample lately, 11 in his last six, a lot of home run and six straight. I like that fade of Emma Naga with a hitter who's on fire right now. Yeah, I feel you on that. For me, I think I'm going to fade Javier actually because he allows a bunch of home runs and left these have been quite good against him. Let me just see how Arizona's active batters have been against him now. He's never faced him, but you know what? I think I'm going to go Corbin Carroll in this one. I think Carroll's got a pretty decent match up here. Javier does give up a lot of hard contact and Carroll quietly has been, I'll put it this way. He's not been great recently. I'm aware that he's in a bit of a slump right now, but I do think it's a decent match up here. I think that he has a pretty good spot against a pitcher who gives up a lot of home runs, do some damage, in Houston, especially. We know lefties can dominate in that environment. So I'm going to go for Corbin Carroll home run as my pick for Friday and wrap it up though
for the show. Back once again tomorrow, until next time, good old tall view and all of your bets. Bye everyone.
