You're in the sports game podcast. Now we're currently Sunday afternoon, September 6th, the round five PM Eastern time, Murzkar H. Shell. Join again by doing we're going to break down to the games for the Monday card. A Dylan has gone with you. How's your weekend? It's all right. It's going all right. Football is back so that is good. By the way, did you see the Weston, Michigan? Michigan? Yeah. Yeah. Cousin. Crazy. I think they got hoes, honestly. I don't really know what to believe because I've seen a couple. They showed the clock like that was used to determine there was one second left. And I feel like most people initially, I felt the same thing. The issue I have is with the actual television broadcast. I don't understand how you can pay billions of dollars for right supporting events

and not have synced up clocks. I don't know how that happens. You're paying billions of dollars to provide the most, I'd say, realistic atmosphere and broadcast possible. Yeah. Why do you have your own clock that's not properly synced to the clock that actually matters during the game? I don't understand why that happens. Why does that happen? I have no idea. And it's crazy because this supposed to be the expert. And they came out and said there's zero on the clock. They were like, I don't know how they got one second, but they got it. Because one camera that they were using during the review, I saw a picture of it said one second left. So if you want to argue, there might be decimals involved, then great. Then why don't you use an MBA style clock and show decimal points? It just feels lazy all around with the clock. It's one thing if you want to argue that Weston, Michigan got robbed and it was a scam and Michigan found a way to win. Could be true. Like I'm not saying that's definitely not, it's just 100%. I just don't get why the stadium and the actual officials are using one particular clock

that is not also displayed on NBC. These are the questions people need to be asking. It just comes in sense to me. Like if you're going to pay billions of dollars, get the clock right. How hard is it to sync up a clock in 2026? I'm actually surprised you're not up in Lambo. For me, no, to watch Notre Dame win by 20 plus points, no, I'm good. So they're going to cover. I mean, I think Wisconsin probably is not going to be very good. There might be better than in pre-procedure. I was going to say they're going to be better than last year, don't you think? Well, there's schedules with joke. Besides the Notre Dame game, there's schedules very, very easy in the big 10. So we'll see how they look. But look, they got an old dominion quarterback who apparently is pretty good. We'll see how it goes. The last couple of years, though, Wisconsin's gone some recruits and they got injured immediately. And their season fell apart. So we'll see how it goes. But Notre Dame is really good. I don't think Wisconsin's winning the game tonight. So how many years do you give Luke Fickle? It really comes down to the boosters. In today's college football, it comes down to how much money the boosters are willing to invest in your program in the NIL era.

So if he has booster support, it'll stay around. If not, they'll go somewhere else. The boosters are the ones who really control the strings in college sports. Yeah. You bring him in and you feel like he's going to have some success. And it's just it's not the same. No, he was good at Cincinnati. They saw his gardener. They had Ritter and they made it to the playoffs. But I mean, after they lost the Bama, he decided it kind of just fell apart. So we'll see what happens. They tried the dairy raid, which makes no sense. They're trying to go spread offense basically. And Wisconsin 10 degree weather. They found like our rid of it. We'll see how it goes. Do I think it goes well? No. Wisconsin hasn't won a big game when you really think about it in a long, long time. Since what Melvin Gordon? Since before I was there, I can't remember a big game they want. Will you be attending a game this season? I haven't attended a single Wisconsin. I haven't gone to Wisconsin besides Milwaukee as the best man at a wedding. I haven't visited the campus and the graduated. I just haven't gone. No interest or it's too cold.

I mean, the weather sucks. So you're not telling me what that is. I'm not telling you what that is. But I look, I've been invited back. I probably should end up going at some point. But I don't know. Maybe I'm protesting how bad I think the team is a camperanvil. But we'll see. Like I want to go back. It's a fun culture of course, the drinking is out of control. My friend got an upgrade in a house. So I definitely like would have a good time if I went. Also, you kind of reached the point right after I graduated to COVID. And it's like, do I really want to go back as the random 29-year-old who nobody in the front knows? No. Because I graduated before. Any of them were even probably in middle, in like high school at that point. So do I want to just go back and be in a alumni that nobody knows? And it's like not really. Like I don't know if that's that fun. I go to a homecoming of anything. But I just haven't gone back. Have you gone back to Towson? I've gone back one time and it was for... It was just for like a party. Okay. Oh, like, is it a party that you, like, people that you knew or was it a frat party?

No. Like, Towson wasn't big for fraternities or sororities. There's a big bar school. But you were going to meet up with friends that you were at. Correct. Yeah, correct. So like the point is when it comes down to the frat, I only talked to like two or three people from the frat. So I got only go if they were going because none of the younger kids would know who I was. I'm a footnote on the family tree. Like nobody would know who I was. It's just going there and enjoying the nice fall weather and seeing a football game. Oh no, it's a good time. I just feel like if I was going to go... That's what I meant, not miss, but that's what I wish I got out of college because Towson, as you know, is not a big sports school. So I never got like that big atmosphere as like you where you're like, you're at Michigan. That's a huge school. Yeah. The thing is, like, I went to a game, multiple games broadcasting in Wisconsin. So I know the actual experience of Camp Randall. If I was going to go to another college football game, I would want to go to the south. Like, I would want to see different environments that I've not experienced before. I get that it's cool to support your own team, even though my team hasn't

won a big game in basically 10 years. But like, I'm still your team though. I mean, correct, but I'm realistic with it. Like, watching them lose consistently to Michigan and Ohio State when I was there. And they'd lose every big 10 title. They lost the Penn State and that one big 10 title game. They lost every big game that they had. So I'd say, are you excited to go to college game day? And I'm like, no, they're going to lose to Ohio State again because they always do. Like, what do you want me to do? And they would lose again. Of course, it's fun to support the team. You want to be a full Debbie Downer. But I'm realistic. Like, Wisconsin isn't in the same boat as these other elite teams in the big 10. There weren't even on the same boat as Penn State. Yeah. I mean, thank God you weren't in Death Valley last night. I mean, I'll put it this way though. I would rather go to Death Valley to see that environment. I see the thing is, you experience college football in the Midwest. And it's a great environment. Like, it's great. I can't imagine how crazy it is in like the swamp. Or in Death Valley or in Tuscaloosa. Like, I want to see that. I want to go outside and next week.

I want to go because Ohio State is in Austin. I would love to go to Oxford and where Lane Kiffin returns the old miss. But the point is though, like, I imagine the South just knows how to handle a college football game day. And I feel like Wisconsin, besides jump around a lot of the time, you're against great teams in your losing. And I'm just like, this isn't the environment that I really, you know, want. The games haven't even been closed most of the time over the last couple of years. Same thing with Rutgers. I went to one Rutgers game because I had a bunch of my buddies from Jersey. They were there. You saw UMass kicks him in? No, no, not that kid. That would have been insane. No, it was 2019 and Michigan State was involved. And this was actually when Michigan State was pretty decent. They kicked the shit out of Rutgers. Yeah, I feel bad for Rutgers. I mean, look, Wisconsin, I love Cam Brandle great time. But I do think the South, I would want to experience it at least once. I did go to Miami game. I saw Miami play against Pitt years ago.

Nicosa Perry was the quarterback for Miami. You couldn't throw it all. He went to him for Atlantic afterwards. I remember the game didn't mean anything for Pitt because they clenched his fall in the AC title game already. So it's like, why are we even playing this game? And Miami beat him. So I actually watched it in the Hard Rock stadium. Very nice stadium and all, but like, I want to go to the South to see just an SEC no holds barred like College Football game. It's so weird because it's not in Miami. They're in Coral Gables and then he traveled north to the Hard Rock. It's correct, but that was the only college football game that I went to that was not Wisconsin related. And it was fun. But I feel like if I was ever going to go to another college football game, I would want to go to the South for a SEC game. If you could go to one stadium, what would it be? It probably be the game for me. Could be, I kind of want to see all of us you play now to be honest, fully even even the Iron Bowl or like the Red River Shoot. The angle doesn't intrigue me as much because Auburn stinks. And I know that be Baylor over the weekend in a very unimpressed by it's one.

Yeah, Brown can't throw a pass, but like Auburn, well, it's a great environment over there in here. But the team just not as good as I kind of want it to be. I want full on like two title contenders. If you want to give me Georgia Bama or LSUL Bama or something like that, that's the game I don't want to go to. Yeah. But seeing rivalry games just to see like one team who usually wins dominated again, I don't want to see Bama versus Auburn. I don't want to see even out of state like Joe's mentioned in Georgia Tech. I don't want to see Georgia Georgia Tech for state rivalry when Georgia wins every time. It's not what I want to be. Yeah, especially when it's in the Mercedes-Dome. I hate that. I do that too. If I had to go to one stadium, though, I mean, I feel like Tuscaloose is probably safe bet. Yeah. Georgia at home, I mean, they're very, very good. I'd assume they'd win. I would probably see. That value is up there too. Yeah, that value. Both of them honestly. That's what I'm saying. Like I think if I had to go to one right now,

I would probably try to aim for some type of, well, LSUL mis would be great for rivalry stuff, but I think LSU would kick the rasses if they played this year. Even next week in Austin, Longhorde's house state, that should be a really good game. By the way, they're making that a thing every year. And now they've played, I think they played each other the last five years. The point at all last year's game was horrendous, because archmaning was atrocious in the game. But still, the point is if I was going to go to a game in the south, it would have to be two teams at a ranked that are, I want to say equal, but at least close to each other. I don't want to go to a random SEC game where Bamba beats are consolved by 50 points. What about outweigh to my son? What are you saying? What about out west? You could go in the frame or now you could go to Utah. You mean big 10 West? Exactly. I can see Rutgers take on USC in the Coliseum, or you can see the Holy War. That's a great game. That's true too. That's a good game. And they're both getting a pregame for the Holy War. That is not the dream stuff as well.

Well, now that we have it in, we actually have it in now. I mean, I guess I've met a couple of Mormon people in my time. They're nice people. But they're great. They're rich. They do not know how to party, which is kind of a problem for me. By the way, it made me a little tan by comparison, though, which I appreciate. Yeah. Very, very pale folk over there in Mormon. Good people, though. Good people, very tan. They're allergic to the sun. Yes. So overall, though, I'm glad Coach football is back. And then we got an opening night in NFL in a few days. So locked the load. And then we got baseball. We got what, playoff in like three weeks. Oh, yeah, about three or four. Give her tick. How you feel about the Yankees, all right? And when Judge comes back, none of this matters. Like the Yankees are not going to catch Tampa. I saw the, I saw both teams are losing right now. We're going to baseball, you know, actual game breakdowns in a second. But I think they're going to be in the wildcard game. Yeah. They're playing balls. And the question is, will they host or not? And would you rather back them on the road or home? I mean, they're either being Yankees stadium, but I think they might lose the ball

soon anyway. I don't know if it matters too much. But in none of it matters until Judge comes back. The team isn't winning anything if Judge is not going to be playing. So if Judge comes back and Russia's back and he looks even decent, maybe they got something. But without Judge being even in remotely normal form, this team has no chance. She stands out for the year two. I think I know. Yeah, I heard that. Do you, when do you hear rumblings when he will come back? Judge, I mean, he's already been ramping up. Apparently, he looks good. So I'm assuming in the next week or two. It seems like he's going to be back before the playoffs. The question is, will you look anywhere decent or is he going to be extremely rusty? And that's going to result in basically a black hole in the lineup. We're going to see what happens. But I mean, Christian got injured. I know Yankees fans, they could have myself don't really like him that much. He plays in a bismill center field defensively. But they need the outfielder because they lost depth with the Christian being out. So we'll see what happens. But none of the matters until judge looks even remotely decent. And then we could have a conversation. So when judge does come back, because he is going to eventually come back outside of maybe

the two teams in your division, the raise and the red socks. Who do you think is the toughest opponent to get through to win the pennant? My pick to win the A.L. is the race. Okay. I still stand by it. I understand they've not played well lately. But I get they play in a dome, a very home, field does matter for them because I mean, look at their home record. Like they win all the damn time in that building, even if there are 10 people there for the actual game. But Tampa, I think, is, well, they have a buy, which helps. The Yankees and the Red Sox are going to kill each other. I don't know. Tampa plays a certain fundamentally sound brand of baseball that I like. I get that in the playoffs that has been exposed over the last couple of years, mainly for Milwaukee. But the A.L. is also not very good when you look at the teams that are involved. So I picked Tampa just to get whoever comes out of the Boston Yankees here. Yeah, I would agree. I think it's Tampa. It's either going to be Tampa or Boston, in my opinion. I was going to ask if you're afraid of like Houston just because of their experience now. I know, obviously, I don't think Houston's good. So yeah, I ain't far with that.

And the White Sox right now, the division leader, I'm not scared of them either. No, the bottom half of the bracket's a joke. Yeah, I was going to see what happens. But I mean, you have the Yankees Red Sox and Tampa on the top half, which I think is insane. And just because the Brewers have the best record in baseball, we still, we still favor the Dodgers though, right? I mean, Dodgers have been good lately, but yes, I won't pick the Dodgers against them. But even last year, they didn't play the best to close the season out. But then when playoffs start, they just flip the switch and get the Dodgers. And you got to always healthy again. You got your motto. You have an insane rotation. So does that really matter going into October? Some people think it does. I don't think it does. I mean, talent's going to reign supreme at the end of the day. For me, my world series is Dodgers versus Race. And I have Dodgers in five. That's kind of where I'm at. We'll see what happens. Ken the Brewers, all right, here's a better question. Ken the Brewers get over that hump, meaning can they actually get to the NLC? Yes, this time. I mean, they can. Their schedule is going to be tough. You look at the Dodgers schedule by comparison.

It's kind of a joke. I know the Joe is a Braves fan, but you're looking at the bottom half. And you have like the Padres and the Braves. It's a great thank you. And you're looking at the top half. And it's like the Phillies and the Cubs. Like, yeah, sure, give them a walk in the toughest path possible. It's by being the one see it. So I think the Dodgers have a much easier path by comparison. Yeah, not a degree. And I know there's seven games out. I don't think they're going to catch them a walkie, but I think the Cubs are a sneaky team, I would say. I don't under sneaky. I just think that I question if the pitching staff is pitching that actually win. Yeah, the offense is there. It's going to come down to the pitching. Yeah, Emanolio gives a three home runs a game. I got them that's going to fly in the playoffs. You'll see how it goes, but yeah, what would I pick them in a series against Milwaukee? No, no, what are picking against the Dodgers? No, could they in theory make her own sure? I think they could definitely keep up with the Braves though. Yeah, I think I would pick them to beat the Braves. Yeah, but the Braves on the other side of the bracket, it doesn't matter. Yeah, they'd be playing Philly. Like the two biggest opponents for the Dodgers on the other side of the bracket,

playing each other on the round one. And they're on the same half as Milwaukee. So like the Dodgers have a very easy path by comparison. Yeah, but either way, look at the end of the day, it should be a fun playoff to see what happens, but yeah, it's kind of just my thoughts overall. I have chalk so far in the playoffs in general. But anyway, time to move on into the actual games for the card before that. They're my other Bra 2 buyer sponsor. Check out the actual free roll contest. Now we're doing for football because it is back. Take every MATS for chance to win up to 4k. Enter today sports, come back, it's come. So I should free roll and it should be instilled, raising money for Columbia after the earthquake. You can run help out the cause, but it's for team box con. So I should relief you help out today. So moving on into, we'll do a couple of games first actually. First game on the card, we have the Braves taking on the Philly's. Pretty rough collapse by the Philly's today as the Braves came back and they won. For this one though, you have elder taking on a Lazardo. For the pricing, Philly's minus 157, Braves are plus 147, and the overrunner is at 8 in this game.

So Dylan, what are your thoughts on this one? Yeah, I did make the Philly's a favorite here at home, but only around like a minus 145 here. So it probably be dog or past, but I actually like the over, feel like eight is a small number. My total came out to 8.9. To be honest, I really don't trust Braves sell there on the road. He's inconsistent to begin with. And as good as he's loose his ardose as season as he has, 13 wins. He's much different pitcher at home than he is on the road. 452 ERA at home, last two starts flew over this number. I like both offenses. I think they'll be able to get some runs. I'm not the craziest about the bullpen for Philly either. So I think we'll see some runs here. I like the over if anything, but yeah, for a side, I do like dog or past. Yeah, I'll go with the Philly's first five minus half for one. After watching the bullpen today, I'm good. I'm not going to bother with the bullpen's, but I think Luzardo can out pitch elder. Luzardo has been great recently. So give me him the pitch well in this one.

Give me Philly's first five minus half for one avoiding the bullpen's entirely. Moving on to the next game, the Mets taking on the Marlins. You have Tongue taking on Perez. For the pricing, Marlins minus 112, Metz plus 110, over under seven and a half. Dylan, what do you like in this one? Yeah, Tongue is back. I did make the fish a pretty decent favorite. A minus 160. I know they've lost all they won today, but they lose three of their last four. It kind of owned the Mets to this season. And I think Harry Perez is solid at home. I think this could be a nice bounce back start. Last two starts on the road. Did it look the best? Think coming back home, I think this is a good spot for him. He also had two really good starts versus the metropolitan's earlier in the season. So yeah, I'm on the fish here. I think minus 112 is a very discounted price here. I don't want a back on a hill. This is first our back since. Jonah Tongue, man. Jonah Tongue. What I say, Jonah Hill. He's a Jonah Hill. I would want a back on my either. But he knows you just so watch out. He knows you just he'll fuck us up.

You will. But yeah, he this is first our back since early June. I'm not a big fan of Jonah Tongue here. So I think the offense has been good here. For me, they got the win today. I think they keep it rolling. Minus 112, I think is very good price. Yeah, so I'm going to join Joe on his pick. I like the over in this game at seven and a half. I just can't back a Perez right now. A last two starts seven and two thirds. 11 runs like I can't do it. He's been terrible recently. As for Tongue, look, he's mainly been like bouncing around between the majors and the minors. Is he good? I'm not really like he's okay. I guess, but I don't think he's going to go too well in this one. I think you'll see some runs in this game. I'll go with the over as my thoughts for this one. Jonah Hill cook did money, ball. Oh, he did. He did. He did. That's fucking hilarious. Yeah. But he, look, I'll put it this way. I don't really understand why brief segue here. Yeah, but Jonah Hill was so mad that people would refer to him as like the fat guy from super bad.

Would you rather be the fat guy from money ball, the fat guy from war dogs, the fat guy from 40 over version cameo 21 jump street, the fat guy from 21 jump street. Like bro, you're heavy in every movie. Why doesn't he? Like what are you talking about? Like it, what would you rather be viewed as? And why did he like, he like grout his hair and his beard? He looks like he became a little bit like bohemian. A little bit, a hundred percent. Like a California type vibe. Like would you rather be the fat guy from Wolf Wall Street? Like you're heavy in every movie. What do you want people to say? Am I missing something? No, you're not. He was in knocked up. I forgot about that as well. Oh, yes, he played one of the friends. Oh, yeah. That's wrong. Oh, yes. It was just kind of vironics. The same thing as Seth Rogan. We're like the best Seth Rogan is fat Seth Rogan. Yeah. As a Yankees fan, he's a bat that you wanted him over 300 pounds. Yes. The same exact argument for Jonah Hill and for Seth Rogan. But like don't get mad when people refer to you as being the exact weight that you were when you filmed every movie you've ever met.

Is that why he brought up the jujitsu? I think so. Yeah, he said like I can like mess up anybody you refer to me as like the fat guy from Superbad. And I'm like, but you were the fat guy from Superbad. What are you talking about? He's insecure. I guess. I mean, that's why you learned that it's like, yeah, I can, you know, I can like fight you. And it's like, bro, you're heavy in every movie you've ever been in. Why are you mad at people for like, oh, you were great in this movie. Like, what are you talking about? I was what you're known as. I was listening to Sean and Ryan. And I think Kobe was on one of the one of the shows. And they were talking about old coaches. And I think Kobe and Sean said, dude, like, I forgot the fucking coach. I got to go back. He's going to kill me. But he's an older gentleman. But I think he is kind of yoked in there. Like, they're like, they're like Ryan. He would beat you up. And he got or talking about all the coach of Michigan. Yeah, yeah, Kenny. Winning him. Thank winning. Yes. And what do you have like, isn't it? All the time. But still, Ryan made a good way. He's like, dude, he's 60 years old.

I will fuck him up. I don't know if Ryan works out. I would take winning him in that one. No, no, I'm taking Ryan. Are you kidding me? I don't know. You saw him at the sideline last night. Yeah. He looked terrible. As a coach or as I go, no, no, no. Fitness guy. Both. I mean, he looked lost in the sauce when he was looking up at the jumbo's tron. He looks, oh my god. Once again, I'm not familiar with the workout habits of my boss. I don't keep track. I know Sean does hot yoga, but I don't know what Ryan does. He does. But the point is like, fights are also a matter of stamina. If you're in the gym doing workouts, I think you'll just outlast the opposition. Oh my god, winning him would fuck up Ryan. No way. I would take winning him personally. The only coach I'm taking is Bobby Salah. That man will fuck people up. He like is, yo, I've met Bobby Salah. You know who to win? You know who to win? Those fights, oh, I got of all the coaches. Bring them more. Bring them more would kick everybody's asses.

Hurricane's coach, Stanley. Yes, yes, yes. The guy works out like a madman. Bring them more would be like a number one seed in the coach's fight bracket. Bring them more would kick everybody's ass. Bring them more is a monster. Honestly, even the Western Michigan coach yesterday looked fucking yoke. Yeah, well, a lot of them are in the gym. I think the boys he coach would actually do pretty well in that. Danielson. Yes. Bring them more works out. Like bring them more would be a first ballot guy for coaches that does that. Who's another like strong like, that's Sean McVeigh. He's, no, McVeigh is more like pretty boyish, but I keep he works out. Honestly, Kurt Signetti. Or he just talks a good game. Oh, I don't know if Signetti works out. I just think that he has like a certain like no nonsense temper. No, I don't think he would do well in a fight. I'm trying to think off the top of my head like strongest coach. I'm sure there are a couple were missing. Yeah. Any coach for any of the service academy? Oh, Demiko Ryan's. Yeah, well former players are going to look pretty, are going to like, you know, mess you up.

For college, I'll take any coach for the service academies. That tells you to see the Citadel coach last night who was like running side on a sideline like. I mean, he's clearly working out with the kids. I mean, they're in the service academy. Well, yeah, I would think any of the service academy coaches would do pretty well. Dan Campbell. Well, Campbell would bite kneecaps like he'd be fighting. And he's fights like that would probably count to. I'm looking at the Citadel head coach. Oh, yeah. I don't know what his name is. I'm nice winning in Charlotte, but like, I think he would probably do well in a fight. Shout out, Navy. They did destroy. Did I cover the spread? Well, I had them. I had them again, still. I do can't. I know. No, I had, I had Air Force against Air Force. Navy destroyed. House and yeah. Yeah. The good old days when we, when we had Joe Flacco's brother as our starting QB. No, didn't you once have like a Venetary kicker a couple of years back? Didn't you have like Venetary's son? It was like a nephew or something. I feel like I remember those Venetary's that were the kicker.

Yeah, he, he also played like Rugby, too. He was a pretty big boy. Doesn't surprise me. Before we get into the other games on the card though, or mind of the Brawl 2 by our sponsor, Clutch Paralaze. The NFL is right around the corner and the sports gambling podcast is back with our 32 NFL team previews. And of course, your chance to win $8,000 NFL future with the phrase that pays. Welcome back everyone to the mlgp podcast. Finish going through the first couple games on the card for the Monday card time to move on into the next game. Moving on to the angels taking on the red socks. We have Rodriguez taking on sand of all for the price thing. We know the red socks are favorite in this game. They're lying 180 angels or plus 150 over unders a nine in this game. Rodriguez is a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. We have bro tester welcher過來 a five-shoes for one guy, two guys. Turn that off and start with three guys. Three guys was not good against the Yankees and looking at sand

of all. Who was not good last start. He was good before that. But see, I will got to him for all in 4 runs. So not a good outing there vários의 20 on this contra on the road, Boston 14 games over. camp back Rodriguez here. I mean, he's been terrible. They've been terrible as well. He's not good on the road at all. It's actually better on the road than at home. But I mean, he just got smoked by your Yankees in his last start last week. And actually, Alquist wasn't the worst to him, but they're just not good. They've lost four of the last five game offensively. They're not it. I know yesterday they scored like five, six runs. They got the win, but they've lost four of their last five, not a good series. They're not good on the road and the Red Sox are finally above 500 at home. So finally, but yeah, I took the Red Sox here, depending on what the price is, I did make him a minus one 90 favorite. So if you could get plus money on a minus one and a half, I probably would take Boston there. Yeah, it's plus one 15. That's what I got. I think Rodriguez is very good. I think Boston will win. I'll go for Boston minus the one and a half as well.

I'm moving on to the next game. Guardian's taking on the Orioles. You have Contilo, take on Rodgers and Battle of Lefties. For the match up here, Orioles minus 120. Guardians are plus 110 over under eight and a half. So Rodgers had a bad start to the season. Since then, he's been mainly good just for the reference though. He had one bed start against the Cardinals on the road, but at home recently, he's been pretty good. So I think he can go well in this one, but either way, I do think it should be a fun matchup. That makes sense based on price on why the Orioles are favored, but also why the one is close. Contilo is not good last start against the Blue Jays five and the third nine runs. Only four of them earned though. So defense didn't exactly help him out. Before that though, he was good. So I can understand his form. I'll ask you, don't know what he like in this one. Yeah, I know the Orioles are home and I get to be in the favor, but I like the Guardians here. I just feel like Baltimore has not looked good. They've lost five in a row. They failed to score in two straight games. And I actually like Joey Contilo. Outside of his last start that you mentioned,

think he's had a really solid August. And he has a win over this Oriole team earlier in the year. Think Trevor Rogers a little bit consistent here. So I'm going to back the hotter team. I do think the Guardians are the better team. So yeah, I'll take the plus money plus one time with the Guardians. Can I actually like the under in this game? I mean, especially if you could get an eight and a half. I see a half a minus one 15. I'll go with the under in this one. I think Rodgers at home can go well. I think that Contilo in general, besides the bad start last time out, it's been good. And do I trust Cleveland's offense? Not really. So I don't mind the under. I think eight and a half is pretty high. Moving on to the next game, you have the dimebacks taken on the Royals. For this one, you have a matchup between the pictures. We've undecided taking on Cameron. For the pricing though, we have the dimebacks minus 112. Royals are minus 107. We have no total and no run line for this game. I mean, Cameron was in great form last start though, not good. A five innings four earned against Miami, not ideal. Before that though, we had a lot of two runs in his last three starts combined.

Arizona, those are the better team, which we know the record's much better, but we don't know the picture for this game. They've not been good as well recently, Kansas City, as they are two and five in their last seven, as they went back to being bad. Algo Arizona in this one, I don't have an actual listed picture. So I'm going to wait, but minus 112 is kind of the cheap and you factor in the talent disparity. Algo Arizona. Yeah, we like Noah Cameron, but at home doesn't look good. He didn't look good in his last start against the fish. I gave up four runs and five innings five hits as well. So you're right. They are back to being bad once again, four and six in their last 10. I think it might be Jose Cabrera going for the snakes and you know, it doesn't go long into innings, but I do think he was decent once out. And wasn't it? Yeah, he only went two innings and he only gave up one hit against the Phillies. Yeah. So maybe like a spot start kind of situation here for the snakes, but I would agree. I did make them up to a minus 140 favorite. So we'll see, but total maybe you get maybe you get a high total.

My total did come out to 9.4. It's going to be windy tomorrow, 10 mile an hour winds blowing out. So do that with what you will. But I do like, I do like the snakes here tomorrow. Yeah, I was in the price is pretty cheap when you factor in how bad the royals actually are at baseball. Moving on into the next game on the slate. What do you want to go next? We'll go with the Cubs taking on the brewers for this one. You have boy to take on gasser for the pricing brewers minus 124. Cubs are plus 115 over under the eight and a half. So boy, it in general had a good start to the season. Recently he has not been very good. I guess a lot of three plus earned runs in three was the last four starts. In fact, he's allowed a total of 15 run 15 earned runs over the last four starts and the Cubs have lost four straight starts that he's made. A gasser in general has been up and down all year. I'm not the biggest fan of his, but you know what he's been finally lately. Last two starts, including one against the Cubs, four and a third to earn. The last two starts and nine and two thirds, three earned.

So not totally awful. He hasn't better at home. So at least there's that. I'll go and Milwaukee at home. I mean, this team is 47 and 25 at home. The price feels pretty cheap to me. I'll go for Milwaukee in this one. Yeah, I just think the price is extremely short and cheap here. I got it taken. My number is made of minus 150 favorite. Like you said, Brewers are a wagon at home. You mentioned this straight up numbers and I think gasser has been okay. You know, he just had a win against this Cubs team last week. But he got a no decision with the team one. With a team win. The Brewers, they won his last six home starts as well. And to be honest, on the other side, Matthew Boyd, I'm just not the biggest fan of this year. I don't think he was good in his last start. He's giving up two plus runs and five of his last six games. Brewers offense has been great over the weekend as well. So yeah, I'm all over the Brewers here. My S1 24 feels like a very short number. Yeah, I think I'm with you. I would probably have the Brewers all like minus 135 at the price of myself. So 124 does feel like a pretty good number in general.

Coming on to the next game on the card. Next game we're going to go with the word I want to go next next game. We're going to go with the Tigers taking on the twins. They're hosting the twins. We've undecided taking on Melton for the pricing here. We have Tigers minus 126 twins are plus 113. We have no total and no run line. So Melton actually just faced off against the twins last week and he got the capitated five and a third to seven runs, five of them being earned. He's not been good lately. He has a lot of total of 11 earned runs over his last three starts combined. So not exactly pitching well. They've lost four straight starts that he's made. Now Green did come back. So at least the Tigers got some boost to the offense. But they've still not been good recently. They are two and six in their last eight. I'll go Minnesota plus money. They're the better team and they just killed Melton about a week ago. I'll go for the twins money line at plus money. I think it might be Joe Ryan going for the twins.

Okay, nice that he's back, but that's even better because I actually think he's pretty good. So I'll go for the twins. Yeah, and I think he's actually been better on the road too. I don't mind Joe Ryan. He didn't look good in his last star versus the Royals, but that was when they're hot. The Royals are not hot anymore. Yeah, and Troy Mellon just hasn't looked the best. I mean, he obviously got smoked by the twins last start. I mean, even against the Royals and the Reds or the Rays, excuse me, he didn't look good either. So I actually like it over, depending on, I know you said there's no totals yet, but if it is, I did make my total 8.7 with these two guys when blowing out, should be partly cloudy. So I do think we'll see some runs. It's just trusting both of these offenses. I mean, Minnesota's offense has been fine recently. I mean, they put up double digit runs over the weekend against the Tigers in their last series. I mean, Tigers, I think they're good for a few as well. So depending on what the total is, I might look towards in over, but I probably would take the twins or anything or nothing. Yeah, I agree.

Moving on to the next game, Nationals taking on the Padres. You have Dion taking on Vazquez for the pricing here. You have the, sorry, you just have to scroll up to actually find it for the Nationals. They are pretty decent dogs plus 146. Padres are minus 175. The on's been good. Doesn't go much distance, but he's been pretty effective this season. Vazquez has been good too. In fact, he's allowed for earned in his last three starts combined. So he's been quite good. We have no total, but I actually like the under assuming it's going to be 8 or 8.5. I don't mind the under on this one for a side. I don't want to lay 175% of the AGO, but I also don't want to back Washington. So I guess it's Washington at plus 146. We'll probably stay away. Yeah, I'd have to stay away. I only made the Padres a minus 155 favorite. I agree, though. I do think Randy Vazquez has been better, but they're not playing the best baseball. Three and seven. Their last 10 Washington has lost three in a row. I don't think will. The on's been that bad, but love the under. If you could get an 8.5, I would take that.

My total came out to 8.1. We got wins blowing in around 11 a mile an hour. Wins blowing in tomorrow afternoon in Peckel Park. So yeah, I think we see a lower scoring game. Maybe first five under kind of eliminate Nationals bullpen, but yeah, I think both pitchers have been good. And I think the first few times around the lineup, I think we'll see a lower scoring game. Yeah, I think we're probably end up getting a total of eight or eight and a half because the Nationals were involved and I'll go with the under. I'm maybe the first five under the board time for Washington, but that's kind of my thoughts on that one. I'm moving on to the next game. You have the Cardinals taking on the Giants and other no, no named pitcher here because the Cardinals decided we don't know his pitcher. So there you go. You've web going for the Giants after he got destroyed by the pirates in his last start. For this one, you have the Giants laying 130 Cardinals or plus one 12 over under seven and a half in this game. So web gave up nine earned in two innings in his last outing. In fact, he's allowed a total of 16 earned runs over his last three starts. So out not going pretty well and the Giants have lost three straight that he's made for

the Cardinals though. I mean, we know his pitching. So nothing else to really add there. Web though has been a lot better at home than on the road. As he always is, he's usually a pretty drastic split sky with home and road. Do I want to lay 130 with the Giants? No. You watched them probably blow a lead today because the next came back in one in the eighth inning. You saw a Bichette of a monster home and on there. Finally. I don't trust the ball pen. I don't trust the current form for Web. I'm going to bet this probably not, but I'll take the plus one 12. I see total of seven and a half, but Web has been terrible. So I don't know if I actually want that. Web cardinals and pulse money better team. I think it might be Michael McGreevy. And if it is, I'm going to take the dog and I also like the over seven and a half because I just think both pictures are going to give up some runs. I do think Michael McGreevy is good, but even in his last start, he gave up four now. It was against the Dodgers, but the game before that against the Orioles who are not when I'm in compare them to Dodgers. He gave up seven runs on 10 hits. So he hasn't looked good. Two pictures that are just giving up a ton of contact right now.

So love the over. It's a hitters ballpark in San Francisco, the ball travels. Winds are blowing out. So I do like the over. My total came out to 8.4. So love the seven and a half. And I only made the giant to minus one 10 favorite. So it's dog or pass. I do think McGreevy is just a tad better than Logan. If it is McGreevy, I'm not sure if it is, but yes. Yeah, it's dog or pass. And I do like the over. I think we'll see some runs. I want to see if McGreevy was put on the potential aisle. That's why we don't have all this picture. No, he pitched on the first. So it probably should be McGreevy. So I don't know. But if it's McGreevy, I like McGreevy. So I'll go through the Cardinals. Even though he has not been the best, hasn't they? But yes, neither is Webb. So I guess I guess. So yeah, that's why we like over. Yeah, there you go. Moving on to the next game, Red's taking on the Dodgers. So the Reds won a series against the Brewers over the weekend. Nice series won for them. He got Burns taking on We don't know. Lots of undecided pictures for the Card.

But you have the Dodgers laying 180. You have the Reds who are about plus 146. We have no total and we have no run line. Burns 15 and three. However, he had a couple of, he had a bad stretch and he kind of bounced back. He has a lot less than three earned and three of his last four. But he has gone less than six innings in the three straight. So not much distance. But you know what the Reds have been pretty decent recently. They can score. The Dodgers have not been good lately, which is well documented at this point. I'm getting a great price on Burns. Give me the Reds of plus 146. Oh, you do see him. So plus 146. Plus 146 minus 180 on the Dodgers. I'm not laying 180. I'll go with the Reds. I think it's Yamamoto going here for the Dodgers. I only made it up. It could be Yamamoto, but I'm trying to remember the last time he pitched. Well, I don't think it's going to be him because he had the no hitter going and they lost an extra. But I think that, I want to say that was like, Tuesday. Was it Tuesday or Wednesday? Yeah, it was against the carinals. That was Wednesday. So I doubt he's going to pitch.

I assume he's going Monday. I mean, I assume he's going to go, uh, third, I think I assume he's going to go Tuesday, right? Yeah, that would be five minutes. Maybe, maybe. Regardless, I can't lay it with the Dodgers. We can't do it. No, no, I would agree. And Chase Burns, he has a different pitcher on the road than he is at home. But like you said, they're on fire right now. They won four of the last five. I mean, and against good teams too, against the Padres last series. They just took two or three from the, uh, Brewers are putting up numbers. I mean, they put up 12 runs here. So I like the over. I do think we'll see some runs because, uh, regardless of who goes, I think the Dodgers will be able to put up some runs here. Uh, so yeah, I like the over depending on, do you have a total or no? Oh, no, I have nothing now. Yeah. Yeah, I probably would like, like the over. I do think we'll see some runs, but, uh, yeah. I mean, the reds are definitely live at this price. They're playing some good baseball right now. Yeah. And moving on to the last game, Blue Jays, taking on the athletics. You have cease taking on a Lopez. Oh, boy. Uh, the Blue Jays are laying 180.

The A's are plus 165. If you want the run online, you can get Toronto minus one and a half and minus one 13. A's plus one and a half and even money over under eight and a half bit of juice on the under. We know C's is a lunatic. He might win the saw, young, he might not, but it'll definitely be a top two finisher. He's allowed to earn in his last three starts combined. Lopez though has been pretty good. Recently, four of the A's is allowed for earned in his last three starts combined. So decent pitching matchup. Then again, a total of eight and half in this ballpark. I will never take the under on, but I can understand the argument for it. But any thoughts on this one, Dylan? Yeah, Dylan. C's has been a fucking ridiculous. And I think Toronto's been playing much better as of late. The one eight of the last 10, um, Dylan. C's is actually better on the road. A and one 154 ERA. Barr is only hitting a buck 53. But like you said, you can't take an under here in Sacramento. Winds are blowing out. We're just going to see a ton of runs here. And I just think with the recent offense for both sides, we're going to see some runs.

And I know you mentioned Jacob Lopez. And he has been better, especially. He said, I think he's had a really good stretch here. Probably late July to about now. He's been actually really good. He hasn't given up more than two runs since July 7th. So he's actually been really good. But Toronto's been really good as well. So I'm on the over over eight and a half. My total came out to 8.7. What do you think the first five Toronto would be? You mean for the run line or what are you trying to? The first five run line I can pull up right now. Yeah, you can find minus 130. That's for minus one. That's for minus half a run minus a half. Sometimes you get the first five result a little better. And odds, but I probably would want to take a bolt more in the first five. I think I mean Toronto. Toronto, excuse me, the blue J's in the first five I would want to take. Just with Dylan Seas, I think he's going to limit them. But once that bullpen comes in, I do think the athletics will be able to score some

runs. So yeah, probably take the blue J's here in the first five minus a half. That's exactly what I'm on. I'm not going to overthink this. Give me cease to just shove potential intense right out to nose, but I'll avoid the bullpen. I think Lopez is fighting him being good. He has given up a couple of runs. Yeah, one run might be all Toronto needs to cover this run line. So I'll go for the blue J's first five minus a half with you. Welcome back everyone to the MLGM podcast, finish going through all the games on the Monday card. Time to move on into our lock and dog picks. Dylan, what's going to be your lock and dog for the show? Yeah, for my lock, I am going to take, I'm going to take the burst here. I just think it's a really good number here against Matthew Boyd who I'm not a big fan of. I think he's been inconsistent. Brewers at home are a wag and I think it's a very short price. So I will take Milwaukee here at home as my lock. As my dog are the guardians still underdogs plus 110. I want to see what I can get here. Guardians right now are available at plus 110 plus 110. So I will be on the guardians here. I favor Joey Cantill a little more than I do Trevor Rogers. And I just think the guardians are the better team right now than Baltimore. So yeah, I'm going to take the value here with the guardians on the road as my dog. All right. Give me the light game. Give me C's minus half run on the first five at minus 130.

I think I'll shove. I think a little puss of give of a couple Toronto has not been good but look, C's we know is an absolute machine. I think we'll go well here. And in this ballpark, I think Toronto can get a couple across in the first five. Give me Toronto first five minus half run on minus 130 as my lock for the show. I think that one will definitely climb before the start of the game. Moving on to my dog though. What did I want to go with here? I think for this one, I am going to go with the, I want to go with an unlisted picture. You said it might be Joe Ryan, right? I'll be able to. That's what you said. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I said. He should return sometime this week. But he had a rehab start. Oh, let me just see. Yeah, he had a ball pen session on Saturday. So I don't think he's going to go on Monday, but we'll see. But they did just kill Melton in his last start. Like he gave up a bunch of runs. I'll go Minnesota, Monday one with an unlisted picture at plus one 13.

Detroit's not very good. Minnesota has been like not great recently, but they're still better than Detroit record wise. And if it is Joe Ryan, I like my chances, but Melton got killed by this team a week ago. So I'm going to go for the twins, Monday one at plus one 13 as my dog for the show. Getting on the home run picks. A deal one who's your picked to go yard. So I'm going to go back to that Milwaukee and Chicago game and Matthew Boyd actually had a home run problem. Now, you didn't give up in his last loss to the Bruis, a home run, but he gave up one every start in the month of August. And I'm going to take William Contreras here. He had a home run on Saturday. I think this is a good spot for him. He already has one off of Matthew Boyd as well. So I'm going to take William Contreras here to get a home run. So I was going initially fade Rodriguez with the problem is he really doesn't allow many home runs for a picture that I don't think is very good, but it tends to keep it in the ballpark, which is problematic. So there's not many pictures that I really like to just give up a serious bomb in this one. Elder though has not been good lately.

He's allowed at least three earned runs in three of his last four and he's allowed 16 earned runs over his last four starts along with five home runs. So the feelings of a lot of history against him. The question is who I want to go for and he has been worse against righties. I'd say this season by comparison. So that eliminates Harper and Shorber. So do I want to go for a trade turn? Turner's an option. I can go for trade turner. He had a home run like a week ago or so. I'll do it. Give me trade turner. Yeah, give me trade turner to go yard against elder as my pick for the home run for Monday and wrap it up there for the show. Back once again for the Tuesday games tomorrow. Till next time, good old tall of you and all of your bats. Bye everyone.
