2:07Joe at work says Jordan love. That's the QB for the Packers. He put that he put that in the take. It's not just me doing it. Yeah. Leads the NFL in yards and attempts for the first eight weeks of the season. The Packers current running back room of low eight at Johnson and Brooks have a combined 116 career rushing attempts. I mean, the offense will have to go through love. I'd love to see this. Did I get it? Love. Yeah. Nice job. Yeah. I certainly think this offense is going to be a little bit more past. I think it's going to be a little bit more past. I think it's going to be a little bit more past. Focus with what Josh Jacobs' status for playing football games is going to be. Yeah, I can buy this. Well, you and I both yesterday when we go through our MVP picks. We kind of both admitted it was like thought about making love my regular pick. Yeah. It's super interesting because like he loses two receivers that have been kind of good form right and wicks and dobs.

3:11I mean, I think that's why he's coming back from injury and read and craft. But I kind of feel like that more defined passing structure is going to help Jordan love. And I mean, I think highly of a skill set. He's been so efficient. It's just how many passing attempts can we get to? Can he throw the ball almost 600 times a year? If that's the case, I think the numbers are going to be huge. Yeah. The first day of the season. And I think, you know, you know, I think he's going to see the spirit of this is the first eight games and the status of Josh Jacobs. But I think kind of absent of any Josh Jacobs layer. I'm kind of expecting a lot of production from Jordan love is I think Jacobs is a good back. But I. You know, I think he's he's been a little bit more modest. Or at least last season. I felt like he was more modest and so. I've always kind of been thinking this is a big year for Jordan love. Big opportunity to an at the vision. been on an upward trajectory for each of his three seasons as a starter from an area yards per or average yards per attempt perspective. He just hasn't thrown the ball as many

4:17times. Right? Is that the first season 579 to Jordan Love puts 579 past times up this season. Big number. We're calling him big number. Big number. This one's interesting from tell. I didn't even realize this. Tell says the big sleeper for defensive rookie of the year is Jashon bar him. He will start over D winters and with the revamped Dallas front, he will get a lot of run and hit opportunities. He's also a good blitzer. So he could rack up some sacks too. Also add that Dallas market, add the Dallas market as the cherry on top. I didn't know he was going to start for that team this year, man. Yeah, it's flashed big time at the preseason. I'm stunned. Yeah. College points. Right? It's good college player. Kerneth big pro player. Um, I think his draft stock will hurt him in that race for an award, right? Like typically unless you are no doubt about it. Doesn't the bias kind of tilt

5:26towards earlier drafted players? Well, probably in your pick for D Roy is also on the same defense. And Caleb down. Yeah. That kind of complicates it a little bit. It's exciting for Dallas. I have two guys that we're talking about right now is candidates, right? But it just don't be the worst defense league this year. Malikai Lawrence Caleb downs to Sean Barham. A year after you drafted he's not even he's a Raku. It feels good. That's got to feel really good to get some significant young talent going into that defense. Yeah. So we're out. We're out on just showing him out. I think it'll be very good. But I'm out. I think it's a the sleeper calls it a big sleeper. I can I can get you there. But I like our own, but I yeah, sleeper deep dark horse. DeAndre says the commanders will finish top 10 in both sacks and pressure rate. Durante Jones coming from Minnesota has a similar effect

6:30as can't Anthony Campanelli with the stable of bodies in the front seven and that attacking style defense. They will take a leap. Top 10 commanders sacks and pressure. Yeah, I think so too. But what what is it for you? Is it just the collection of players or is that the right way to sum up the yeah, I don't think their players are going to get them there. Jason Oway, Chanel, Kim Settles, Charles, how many of you? Top 10. Yeah, it's aggressive to me. I think they're more like middle of the pack to if you if you told me top 20 20. Yeah. So top 15, I think it would be like still a bold tape. I have the lead. You know what that means. Despite the ball, baby. If you're right, you better

7:30spike that football come January. Josh Joseph's as well. Draft pick. No, Joseph's is flashed. He flashed in both preseason games that I watched for for Washington. One was obviously against Miami. But even in the other one that I watched, he looks like he's got a nice pass rush bag ready to roll. So no more death in the secondary. Make her break year for Dan Quinn. I want to I think top 10s to Rich, although that defense should should be a lot better this coming year. All right, coming up next. Someone has a dolphin steak. 9:39All right, Brad says the Cincinnati Bengals will have a top 10 offensive line with the potential to be top five. Last year in the final 11 weeks, the old line was only charged with seven sacks and at the third best rushing success rate, there should be more improvement under second year offensive line coach Scott Peters. You're on mute. How are we measuring success? Top 10 is a very open ended interpretation. I know we gave us two two numbers, but sack totals and sack totals in pressure. A rushing rushing success and sacks. Yeah, that was the method out or the metrics he pointed to. It's something rushing success is a very great deal to do with the offensive line. It's got to have something to do with it, right? Like something.

Or Caleb Williams in his rookie season. Okay, it's your own lot that can get sacked, man. It's Caleb Williams. I guarantee it. Finally, it's finally, it's Regis. Finally, it's Caleb Williams was sacked 68 times in his rookie season. The Chicago Bears. Yeah. Jordan Love in five seasons of play, 57 games, 48 starts, has also been sacked 68 times. Same, same number. Yeah, 68 sacks. Let's show those passing attempts are a lot different.

12:50Jordan Love has 1526. And Caleb Williams is rookie season had 562. So it's about three times the past attempts for the same amount of sacks. Caleb's got him better, right? The sack rates come down. He did get a bunch better last year. It was just a, it was, it was only 24. He cut it to 4% last year. It was a phenomenal drop. He cut it by almost 7%. Yeah. Uh, trajectory is good for Caleb Williams. So we're out on, I mean, this Brad said top five for the Bengals offense. Yeah. Well, potentially said, but, but we'll have a top then. I think it's just too talent, the talent level there's not good enough. It's, it's, that's the same thing as the Washington take for me. And also keep mine. Yesterday, I just sat on this program and predicted Joe Burrow to be the NFL MVP. So it's not like I'm not like in on Cincinnati this year. I just, I think it's too aggressive for their offense one. All right, Robert Foster enthusiast says for the first time since 2002,

Yeah, yeah, I don't think I I think in Cade and Shakir will be probably both over 800 yards, but to have two over a thousand feels aggressive to me. Scott says the dolphins leading receiver in yards will end up being having Coleman this year. Just changes number to 21. It's not going to happen. Oh, did he really? Yeah.

That would be pretty surprising if he was the guy that did this. He looked pretty good in spring. I just think there's a blockade in front where I don't know that he's a if you're in base formations, I don't know the Coleman's on the field. So if they're playing 12 personnel, I don't think Kevin Coleman's on the field. If they're in 21 personnel, I don't know if

18:57Kevin Coleman's on the field. That's a good point. So just from a volume perspective, it's like, okay, like if you're only going to be in the winning, we run 11. Are you beating out Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas from Malik, Washington at the start of the season for playing time? I don't think you are. Does he feel like Malik Washington is the biggest block to him and it's the one for one skill set. Yeah. Would you guess Malik Washington's the guy that leads the team and receiving yards? Yeah. If you told me Caleb Douglas gets over 50 receptions, I could buy a Caleb because I think he's going to average 14, 15 yards of catch. Is it too? That leading receivers probably going to be six, 57 yards and then it's going to be a bunch of guys between like 450 and 500. As a big Chris Bell fan coming out of college, of course, mindful of the injury,

19:58is the timeline of his return and like maybe not getting a full off season plus being a rookie. Is it too aggressive to think that he has a chance here or I think if you think Chris Bell's going to do that, you're ignoring the risks that come with what his timeline is. I'm just too into the skill set that the context of the situation. And his Chris Bell didn't have already non-contact practitioners he won until about 10 days ago. Like I'd probably be there. And I can't dismiss it as a possibility, but I don't want to ignore the fact that he was doing rehab until the second week in August just to get cleared as a rookie to come back in and play. Who's your pick Malik Washington? Yards. Probably from a volume standpoint. It's kind of what I might think as well. All right, this one's going to be interesting because I don't know if I agree with it. I think you're going to like it. Buffalo live says the modern day play by play camera angle football broadcasts use from the sidelines is outdated. It was used and adopted during a time when teams heavily ran the ball and it does not serve viewers well in the current era of offensive passing and angle from behind the quarterback would take time to get accustomed to but viewers would eventually enjoy seeing the routes wide receivers run down the field and how the defensive secondary moves at the snap of the ball. Imagine not watching skycam broadcasts. Because it gives you that. So you're this is yes, you you like this. Yeah. I have a confession to make.

No, I have Kyle, but I do I honestly struggle with them because I'm so used to watching live broadcast football games a certain way that I just don't feel like I'm tracking the game as well as I normally do with that presentation. Yeah, you should have a punter that's good directionally and your your punts schemes should leverage the sideline right is the best defender in the history of the NFL. It's never miss tackle. But to just try to push it out of bounds, I think is leaving so much potentially hardwich on the field and so many potential takeaways. So I love the creative idea. I'm completely out on it though. The last one here is interesting. It's not football. It's from Lurk. Lurk says pork chops are a goaded breakfast meat. Right. Have you ever woke up in the morning? So you know, man, I wish I could have a pork chop right now. No, I don't think I can ever recall having pork chops for breakfast. I've had steak. I've had bacon. I've had ham. I've had turkey sausage.

27:17Yeah. I had scrapple. Remind us of what that is. That's what you get the shady maple. It's on the leftover stuff that they throw in the grinder. Yeah, I push it out in the paste. Scrapple and what are those comes out of the big, like a big frozen block. What were those? You're in high in college. You would go and get the debt. Was it deli ends or something? You'd be, oh yeah, you go to the store. You'd buy the the package like they'd have like the styrofoam bottom and they'd have the plastic wrap over the top. And like, you know, the meats, they're like 599 for pound of this 899 for pound. You get deli ends for like a dollar 99 pound. I just had 10 pounds of deli ends. The little like skinned off rounded like him. So when they're slicing it, it's like the piece that they can't push through anymore because they're going to cut their fingers off trying to get it cut down. This got you through the Pennsylvania state university program that you. Yes. Yeah. A lot of sodium. But I bet other than that.

28:21Other than that. My guy's I got 150 grams of protein in somehow and I don't got any money. That's great. I'm going to the deli. We use walking and be like, Hey, I'm back. No, they tell them set out. They knew you were coming. Yeah, I guess. I could I walk into the Harris theater right now and get these. I don't know if they sell them like that. Some just they find something else to do with them. Hopefully don't throw it out. Maybe become scrap. No, scrap was like an individual like when you slaughter an animal. I'm not going to get the cuts and yeah. It's like the rest of the things that they can't get like the standard cuts from is what is reused. But very big fan of the idea of not wasting anything, especially if it's involving eating another living creature, right? Like don't waste any of that. It's I agree. It's morally. I'd argue scrap. Is the most high moral food that you can eat? Sure. The pork chops were practiced. No. Never had. Yeah.

29:25Should we try this? Well, I've had a pork chop. So I know I'm aware too, but like I've never had one before like 3 p.m. What's your least time of day you've had a pork chop? You have one for lunch? Yeah, I've had it for lunch. I'm sure. Like leftovers. Leftovers. Yeah, it's not like I'd be like, you know what? I'm going to prepare a pork chop right now. Right. So no, it's never happened. Yeah, but it's leftovers, which you know, it's not rare. Breakfast. I'm out. Trying to give any of the meats that I've had for I haven't grabbed ground beef and like breakfast burritos and stuff like that. So pretty much everything. Just about every. Yeah, I've had two different kinds of pig that is not pork. I've had ham and I've had bacon. So breakfast pork chops. They're thin cut boneless. I mean, cook them in like five minutes in a skillet. Serve with eggs.

30:33I mean, a normal stuff that you would serve it with, I guess. They're thinner. We'll have to give it the old college try. Yeah. That's it. That's it. I'm glad my right eye settled down for the second half of the podcast that those you're rubbing out of my skull there for 15 minutes. You're doing the app race.
