Eric Morris has Oklahoma State fans cautiously optimistic entering this season. With all the NFL level star power surrounding Drew Mestemaker, Caleb Hawkins & Wyatt Young it's impossible not to feel enough excitement for a successful season. However, it's players like Nate Ost & Harrison Dempsey that will ultimately keep the locker room dialed in enough to stay focused while still having fun. Having talent means absolutely nothing if you don't have leaders in the locker room to keep everything flowing smoothly. The last few years has had plenty of star power, they just didn't have the mental make-up to overcome obstacles late in games. Just watch the sidelines and you will see #85 & #47 keeping everyone dialed in. THESE guys deserve our NIL praise because without them it's hard to be successful, without them you have players in the headlines instead of in the training facility, without them you see teams fall apart with 2 minutes left instead of rising above adversity. So, when you see them thank them and if you want to keep guys like Drew Mestemaker happy then we should also try to pay them!
