The prop cast on the sports game podcast snowwork is brought to you by the free roll football contest $3,000 up for grabs and today sports Gamebox calm slash free roll. And welcome everyone to the prop cast you're on sports game podcast snowwork curling Tuesdays, 10th or 8th, around 11 am eastern time. I'm Roscaro Shell joined again by my co's Adam Roseberg. You're here to break down some football. We are officially up to the football season. The NFL. We have a random Wednesday night football game. So a little bit different, but either way we're here a day early to break down our props from the upcoming game between the Seahawks and the Patriots into that Super Bowl rematch. Adam has going with you. What's up? It's going. It's going well. I just I built you know us a little bit of a research agent. There's no reason to ever use one of these betting insights sites because like you can just build whatever you
want just get the data for it. So I'm just checking out some things on one of my plays. But yeah, no, things are good. Kind of excited for football to be back. It's so dumb that they're doing a Wednesday game. Just so effing dumb. Those are especially you like why not the Austin like if they're going to do anything just like make the Australia game you know Wednesday. Well, that was the weird part that I was going to say was that they have a game in Seattle a Super Bowl rematch on Wednesday. And then you have an Australia game on Thursday, which is just extremely weird. But either way the Australian game is actually not the first game of the season, even though it's been talked about. But yeah, well, we have a Super Bowl rematch. Of course, Seattle one last year. We'll see if Nguyenlin gets some revenge about either way point is that is the only game on the NFL card for Wednesday. But it's football season to strap in and we have courts are going to stay with our usual format. Three props each on the standalone game. No, wrap up the show with our best bets and of course underdog, but either way, Adam, anything you want to add before we get into the game? Now I'm just now I'm good. Cool. So before we get into the actual props that we have for the game
tomorrow or a reminder that the free roll football contest is back together game ATS for chance to want to 4k enter today sports, Gamebogas, come slash free roll and check out the fundraiser that we're having right now for Columbia as we're trying to help Columbia deal with the earthquake they just had going to help out the cause go to sports, Gamebogas, come slash relief to help out today. So moving on into our actual props for the first game of the NFL season. Same format as usual. Three props each. Adam goes first as always. Adam what's going to be your first player prop for this Patriot Seahawks game. All right. So my first one we pulled up. I made a made a new agent that I it's been pulling all the NFL data so I haven't all together. Let's go with Cooper Cup 30 yards receiving. This is super low, dude. He had he had 60 in the Super Bowl in a blowout. So with seven targets. His hit rate is great. I mean look last season 12 of 19.
Six of 10 is last 10, three of his last five. His median is 35. Where'd you go? I'm still here. Okay. He's also was eight to 10 at home. As a favorite 11 of 16 over this number and the last three is his favorite 36 60 61. There seems to be this talk about him having a lesser role. I think if anything last year was like a down year and you're just going to have like a solid number two role within this. I expect Christian Gonzalez to be who I have a lot of respect for and I think is one of the better corner. I think it's really good. Dude I took him the other day on a pre bet 60 to one for defensive player the year. I think that's super bowl. You would it with the way he played in that Super Bowl. You would have no idea that they got blown out because he was literally all over the ball all over the place. I expect him to keep JSN in check and I'm not a huge fan of the Patreons linebackers ironically even though for a little is the coach. Other than it's boy and I'm not really big fan of those linebackers. I don't know. Spallane is the main guy that people like. Yeah he's the main guy and that's about it. But I'm not impressed. Expect Barner and I expect
Cup to have good days. So 30 yards man is just really really low for a game that I think is one going to go under. Two is going to be one by Seattle and three is going to not going to have a bunch of these deep crazy plays. So that takes out Rashid Shaheed for me and that takes out JSN. So give me Cooper Cup 30 yards minus 108. At the end of the day you're looking at Shaheed and you're looking at JSN or both going to be I'd say big player receivers. We know Shaheed is more of a burner. We might catch like two passes for 60 yards. They need somebody underneath. So if you're looking at potential volume and if you want to argue Cup is potentially semi washed it's week one. Like you should be fine. I think the problem will be the longevity of Cup throughout the entire season. But for week one 30 yards is nothing. For a guy you double this in the soup. It's I think that that's a I mean we don't need to go crazy. We don't need to I think in future shows we can tell people we guess we will ladder like we'll have a ladder on Sunday. For some people or Friday first people over for the Sunday. You don't need a ladder Cooper Cup here. I just think 30 yards is too low. Yeah. And he and Fury can get this on maybe even Q catches.
Two catches in theory. So there you go. I think he gets like I think if he gets three receptions this goes over. Yeah I agree. But either way I like to play. I'm moving on to my first play. I'm going to go to a Seahawk as well. I'm going to go with George Hullani who is the backup running back. Sharma. And of course is out Kenneth Walker and that I'm believing to Kansas City. They drafted price at a Notre Dame. We'll see how he does. But either way point is Hullani. I'm going to go with his longest rush. I see under nine and a half at minus one 15 which I'm going to grab. Whether it's nine half or eight and a half. It's a massive number for a guy who really never logs many carries anyway. And a fun trivia question. Hullani's been in the league for a couple of years. Do you know how many ten yard runs he is recorded in his entire NFL career? Zero. What happened? That is correct. The answer is zero. He has never had a ten yard run his entire career. And I can get nine and a half. Am I in his one 15 on the under? Sign me up. I know England also. I know
that you said before you might not have been the biggest fan of their linebacking core. That's mainly for I'd say the past defense. The run defense is great. They were a really good run defense last year. On the regular season they allowed just 99.2 rushing arts per game which was the sixth fewest in the league brought back the main core of that D line. But the Patriots were very good against the run last year. And I do think in general Hullani is going to get if I had to guess maybe like five carries in the entire game. Like I just don't see much usage for him in this one on the ground. He's mainly going to be the third down pass catcher. Price is still probably going to get a decent workload at least as the main I'd say runner. But Hullani is mainly a pass catching back only and you might have to sweat out one or two carries. But the point is Hullani's never gone over. I don't think he goes over now against this defense. And he of course did not go over in the Super Bowl. I think he had one carry in the entire game for like seven yards in the Super
Bowl. So based on that I like the actual play and I like the price. Give me Hullani longest rush under nine half yards at minus one 15. Yeah. Um this just seems so bonkers high. He's never gone over ever in his entire career. He's never going over. So I'll go forward. Yep. There you go. I'm moving on to your second play for the game though. What do you like? Demo I'll Douglas under 12 and a half longest reception. I think I got moved up to 13 and a half. I don't care. Um for me this is about having two new toys on that team that are going to be in those kind of game breaking situations, which is look if they're in a situation where they need to make something big happen. AJ Brown or or or dobs are going to get that ball or hunter Henry. Um I think with the state of what the wide receiving core was last year. Yeah. Maybe pop Douglas would have been the alt to boot a but I don't think so. Um under this though in 11 of 20 last season six of his last 10 three of his last five. His median longest catches 11 and a half. So this is like right on
there. We're betting on this being on the underside of everything on the road six of nine to the under um 0 6 and 10 in his last three on the road. And as an underdog six of seven he's gone under this um and they are obviously dogs on Wednesday. So um look at it. Seattle's also a really good defense here man. Um they have a they allow 26 they allow 26 yards for wide receiver longest catches last year. They the fifth stingiest of all the all those guys in the league. They didn't have any turnover on their um on their defense. I guess Tarek Wollon like but I don't think that he's the best like wide receiver or D back on their team anyway. Um but yeah seven of 20 games as long as catches under 10 yards and the line usually was between 1317. I I just think that the there's going to be other options here for this. So give me tomorrow Douglas under 12 and a half longest reception minus 110. Yeah I mean we're not sure how many times you're going to get target in the
entire game. So you're looking at what could be a limited opportunity. I mean it's kind of similar to what I said about Hualani where you might just have to sweat out maybe a couple of place you're there. But if you're not going to get many targets you're probably not going to go over that often. And Douglas as you said without booty in the line of now because he got traded brown's going to take that spot. So like I don't really know what Douglas's role is going to be on this team besides being what the occasional underneath guy for like some depths. And that's like I don't really it's a pretty high number for a guy that might only have like what one or two catches in the entire game. It's a pretty high number. So I can get behind that too. It was the price on the I have like minus one time. Okay cool. Before we get into the other props that we have for the game or mine or they're brought to by our sponsor. Welcome back everyone to the prop guys finish going through our first cold props for the ones that I football game kind of move on into my second plate for the episode. I'm going to go back to a quarterback here. I'm going to go with an interception. I'll give me Drake man reception
at minus one 14. So we saw in the playoffs throughout the entire playoffs. Majors would not stop throwing interceptions and Seattle intercepted them twice in the Super Bowl. But I like the price here. He's had seven interceptions in his last 10 games including two against Seattle. The real story of that Super Bowl which might not have been resolved over the off season for this rematch. Can they block anybody? I'm not sure about that. They got very Tucker to help out the guard position. But we know Will Campbell was basically Swiss cheese in that Super Bowl. I do wonder if Mays going to run for his life for the entire match up and the fact is when he got pressured which was quite often he was sacked six times in the Super Bowl. I do wonder if Mays going to be forced into a couple of say off balance throws couple of risky decisions or maybe like the Super Bowl the trailing by a couple of possessions. They have to play catch up and maybe the actual attempts skyrocket for May. But the fact is May was not good against this defense and the Super Bowl.
The Alvetsville line got a little bit better with their Tucker but on the ends with the tackles they have. I have my questions. So I'm going to go for the recent form of May which has been full of interceptions. I like the price. Give me Drake May INT at minus one 14. June I talked about our plays last night. Obviously like this was one that I like to and I full disclosure everybody. Skydark on both this is NFL. We're on both of each other's plays all the way through. Sometimes we're not always on them. We are very much on all of each other's plays on this one. There's nothing better than a prime time game INT to root for. So I like it for Drake. I like it for Drake May. I like it for Tucker as a player went healthy. Big question mark there. But that doesn't really solve the same I'd say vulnerable spots that Seattle exploited in last year Super Bowl which was the tackles like Wil Campbell still starting. So if you're looking at the game script for New England and getting AJ Brown and getting a couple of new weapons they're still going to throw the ball. But I think you would agree like even if
Henderson's banged up that might impact the actual balance for the ground game. May is going to have probably similar problems to what he had in the Super Bowl right. I don't think it's going to be the same degree. No, the same extent but still like that Seattle defensive one in secondary or both nasty like they can cause. Yeah, like we got to do some credit for that which by the way you and I do we want to let Seattle to leave the league and turnovers. Is that even a I don't even know that was an option. Yeah. I mean like turnovers forced them in for that. Interceptions. I mean I'm in for that they finished. I think it's like 15 last year. They finished yeah tied for third in the lead with 1.1 receptions per game. I mean they I draft them for my fantasy team. So I like Seattle's defense. But yeah, I'm okay. My I guess my point on all this is yeah, I don't look like I don't think that I think Wil Campbell needs some help and it'll be what it'll be. But I also just have a lot of respect for this defense. In a situation where you and I think that they're going to have it's going to be a slower game. We're on the first half
under. We think that it's going to be not the same kind of pacing. But also for it's countertuitive. Obviously to my tomorrow Douglas play, but they're going to have to do a couple of these deep shots. And this is not a team I want to take deep shots against. Well, no, it's countertuitive. The argument is that it's just not Douglas's role to be the guy. It's right. It's right. Well, it's not this role. But also I guess what I mean is that I think that to to make the game bust open, they're going to have to do that. And I just you know Drake Bay has had throws a very, very good deep ball. Seattle's a really, really good matchup for that kind of thing. I do think that he can have one mistake on this and the mine. I think the price is really good. It's like minus 105. So. Yeah, I got 114. So that's the best price I see left. So the odds went up a little bit. But I think May throws at least one. And as you said before, rooting for a prime time interception is pretty fun. So there you go. Moving on though to the I see how Fox asking if we're going to be doing a weekly pick them show. Do you mean pick them as in like unordered, I mean pick them as in like
spreads because spoiler, we are doing a spread. Yeah, yeah, we are. We're doing our we're doing start someone Wednesdays Wednesdays will be our we have a circuit contest entry, which we have a we have a bet with the mothership guys. Some money and some dinners. Yeah, basically the loser is going to be funding the other. Yeah, but we're going to find something we're still looking for you guys to find something good. Like there's this thing going on that like Kramer's going to pay for my daughter to go to college if we win like, which I think it's extremely generous of him. But you know, and then if we lose I lose Scott as a co-host for six months, which I would be devastated. That'd be like the loss of a child to me. Yeah, literally and figuratively. So you know, I see Adam with the us. We're still working it out. But yeah, Fox asking for a side show. We're doing that. We're going to be giving out our favorites. Yeah, we're going to give out our five on Wednesdays. So tomorrow we're doing our actual side show. And then Thursday will do the 49ers game. That's
what we're doing. So there will be sides for the NFL season. And so folks, I know like, so this is a weird week. We're not going to get a lot of baseball. But look guys, I don't know if you've noticed this over the last five days, walks hit a wall. A lot of things hit a wall. Like we've moved into football. Yeah, pretty much. I mean, we're probably still going to end up doing maybe like one or two MLB episodes a week. But no offense NFL does kind of, you know, keep the actual engagement flowing. Like a lot of people are waiting for the NFL. So we're going to be going mainly NFL for now. But we'll still be throwing in some baseball, of course, on this actual show. By moving on to your third prop. What do you like? So my third prop is we talked about it a little bit. And I think that it's may have already moved. But I still like it. Remodest evens a TD plus 120. Look, this is a volume thing. I get it that Seattle hasn't given up a ton of
rushing TDs. I think they gave up like three last year. But I don't expect Henderson to play even though I'm pretty high on one. Henderson does take over that role by the way. Like, you know, when he's healthy, they want it. Like he's going to do it. Yeah. So just as an update, by the way, Henderson yesterday still did not practice. Did not practice, right? He hasn't practiced all week. So I have to imagine he's not going to play a random Wednesday game. So with him out, you're probably getting a lot more reps for students. Yeah. Anyway, point is, yeah, I so anyway, a reminder Steven said, I think this is a volume thing to me. I like him a lot for this. Like it's chalk. But this is where they use him. And if he does anything, it's just kind of bulldozes in there and gets that touchdown. I think that that's something that we could see happen here. They also, they're there happened like a couple injuries on the front line on Seattle. You know, in the way that I think this game flow is going to move a little bit, when they inevitably do not get the ball to AJ Brown enough, they're going to go with, they're going to have
to get it to Ramandra Stevenson. And let me see. I have, you know, my, if you guys need some other stats for this, it's just a, it's a really good price on the board for a guy who's going to be getting 20 plus carries and is a red zone option is the red zone threat. Also 20 plus touches, not carries because he also catches passes, but say also catches passes. Same idea. He didn't used to do that. No, but I'm saying like 20 plus touches, probably is in the cards form. I mean, look, it's the number one rush TD defense in the league, but I still like this one a little bit. So I mean, at the end of the day, you're just picking it for the usage because Henderson's probably not going to apply. So there you go. Moving on to my final play, I'm going to stay with the quarterbacks. I'm going to go with Sam Donalds. I'm going to go for a D-Gen play, though. I'm going to go with the first quarter passing yards under 55 and a half at minus 112. So Donald really never went over this number 10 last season. In fact, he had less than 56 passing yards in the first quarter in 10 of his last 11 games to wrap up the season. Knowing one also very good against the past, we talked about before whether they're going to double a JSN with a
bracket coverage or whether they put Gonzales on them. The point is if JS ends going to be somewhat, I'd say, limited early in this game as they try to scheme them open, I do think Seattle will struggle to pick up these chunk plays through the air early in this game. I expect the Thiela process. We saw it last year in the Super Bowl. The game was disgusting for basically three quarters. The game exploded late, but there were no touchdowns. We had so much on this pence. I know we did. There were no touchdowns the entire first half of that game. So like the point is looking at a very ugly game script and our opinion on this matchup. Also, you have to wonder if Seattle gets the ball first. We'll see what happens there. But if they don't, maybe New England can drain like six minutes off the clock on an open drive. Who knows? But I see a couple of paths to get there. But Donald has gone under this number in 10 of his last 11 and New England's past defense is still very, very good. So you can be saying, Donald, under 55 and a half first quarter passing yards of minus one. Yeah, I like this play too. I also could be accident his. I don't see anymore.
So he's they're gonna have a run first to see. So yeah, I, you know, which is now there. Well, we'll get there. We don't have bonus plays, but we have other bonus thoughts. Well, we always throw in so like potential bonus play stuff. Yeah, like so something that didn't make either of our cards, but it's kind of tied to that. Hualani play that you mentioned earlier. I don't we don't think that they're like we both don't see to very price having like a 25 carry game. They they have made his they've they've priced him as it's a split. But I don't see them running him into the ground. But I, but the thing is is that the number was so low. We just so low. Darnal also in the on the way we can go in the yard last year. There's nowhere to go, but down pretty much. So we felt like a decent amount of it was priced correctly. I was looking at Myers field goals. One and a half minus one 55 like I'm not I'm just not going to take that. It's why somebody mentioned two and a half in the chat, but I couldn't do the one and a half. As everybody knows, I do love a good kicking prop, which has made me a lot of money. At least that type of market
for the last couple of years. But excuse me, I have been there with you as we brought any penero. Correct. But I'm saying like we tend to give out some kicking stuff, but unfortunately, Myers was priced out of our range at minus one 54. So we couldn't do that. But yeah, I don't need to take it. We don't need to take an off on that. But for their actual bonus stuff, I don't really have much. I feel like we got the place we wanted. Yeah, there wasn't really, I mean, yeah, this was the we we talked about these last night. These were the six that we wanted. And it's a little bit of a balance on both sides. I think if anything, like maybe an AJ bar under touchdown, I just don't think there's going to be a ton of touchdowns in this game is the thing. I just don't that's how I feel like if we wanted to go for something D Jen, it wouldn't be a player prop. But maybe we could consider like a race to x points neither at like 25 maybe like we can try to get creative creative. But like that's kind of the point. It's not really a player prop. It's more of a team prop there. But I'm trying to think of other stuff that I was somewhat interested in. I wasn't I noticed the market on Shaheed, which was his rushing yards.
Yeah, two and a half. He had negative five in the Super Bowl. But with Seattle, they actually tend to give him. Oh, that's what they use it. They use it. They tend to use him for like a jet sweep gadget type of play. And with price as their unproven rookie running back, don't they maybe give Shaheed a couple of carries like maybe. So if you think Shaheed gets used maybe two and a half rushing yards, but I wasn't that that's that by the way for a for that type of play. Yeah. Uh, that's a that's a really high number. It's kind of my point. We're like, I didn't exactly want to take it, but I can understand the angle for an over with an unproven rookie running back. And their backup who barely is effective ever with the ball. So I thought maybe that would be worth an over two and a half. But I ended up not taking it. But I'm trying to think of other stuff that we didn't take in the thing. This is that guys. It's also just remember this because as he Adam, like, like, you know, the last three and the games gets passed. The problem is is that this is also the first game. And it's just it's a little bit different. Like don't first of all,
do not use hit rates at all. People are going to just say people are going to say things like, oh, yeah, well, he's done this in 10 straight. Those are all last season or those are different things. So I don't know. We let's get creative. We can do it. Let's we can try to move this into underdog now and get creative. Well, before we get into underdog though, well, actually, we'll mention the king of the end zone thing at the end. There's a promo for the longest touchdown in the game. But that's going to wrap it up though for all of our plays and for bonus bets. Time to move on into the actual best bets. And of course, on a dog before that, they're among other brought to you by our sponsor on a fantasy. So they've been brand new mini game for the end fall season. You want to be a millionaire. Adam, what's going to be your best bet for the show? Let's go to Monterey TD. Okay, that's how I get this tee. That's the plus one's one here, right? Yeah. Cool. So for my best bet, I'm going to go for Hollani Longus Rush under nine to half and minus one 15. If you can only get eight and a half, that's fine too. But he's never had a ten yard caring his entire career including the playoffs and I don't
expect many carries from anyway based on the rushing yard projections, etc. So based on that, I'm going to go for Hollani Longus Rush under nine to half at minus one 15 as my best bet. Moving on to underdog, Adam, where do you want to start? Well, we get bad numbers here for some of the like, like, Darnel's 48 and a half there for the first quarter. Thanks. I don't want to do that. But look, we can, look, let's take the, let's do the Jake Myers field goals. Okay. Okay, do that. Jason Myers. Jason Myers. Yeah. Over one and a half. Race two is on here. Really? That's interesting. Yeah. I'm going to use that one. Race to 28. Neither team reaches 28 points. Yes. Come in for that. All right. Is that a decent price? No idea. Okay, fair enough. I'm the team gets to 28. So it's, I still like it though. So I'm going to do two. Yeah. And then let's go to you want the main reception for prime time. Yeah. That's, that's,
even I got, this is even I are always to still locked up. All right. Cool. Here's what we got. All right. We got neither team to 28 points. Jason Myers, higher one and a half field goals, Drake May higher 0.5 interceptions. We have a hundred percent, 3.73 multiplier, but we have a hundred percent boost here, which never mind. It's just a three points. It's just the 3.78 multiplier, I guess. $50 allegedly will win as $187.50. Cool. That's going to wrap it up for the actual unadogged entry and for the show. Before we do end up get recapping our, our plays once again, we have to discuss the King of the End Zone. I see Brent mentioning Seattle defense dash, special teams, which would be my approach as well. Well, the thing is about that prop guys, you got to also the, I keep saying this, but you've got to be easy on these promos. Otherwise,
like you're kind of leaving stuff on the table. That means like, Max your promos and do things like that. So let me just look for a second, but that is the longest. I would do Kyle. Well, okay, what is the price? What is their price? You mean for defense and special? Yeah. Let me check because I have a better option. Well, you can, you can mention your better Kyle. I would do Kyle Williams 14 to 1. Okay. Let me just see what the touchdown prop is on Seattle. $5.50. Kyle Williams is 14 to 1 and Kyle Williams, both returns ponds and returns kicks and is kind of a big play guy. Okay. That's a better, that's a better, that's in my opinion, a better, and it's the best prices on DK. So that would be, that's, that's what I'm going to do. Yeah. I mean, fair enough at the end of the day, it's, it depends if you're trying to actually, you know, go for the best price or if you're just trying to get bonus funds, but same idea.
But you might as well give yourself the best price if you can. Well, yeah, it's also just like for this specific promo, like everybody's going to be on the fuck and defense of TD, like that, that thing's out. I think Kyle Williams. And they also cash in the Super Bowl. That's why I like that. I mean, that ended up getting there last year, 45-year order. So we'll see what happens. Yeah. So I think it's, yeah, Siobst, they, they hit into a ton in the playoffs. I'm going to do the Kyle Williams 14 to 1. Cool. But anyway, it's going to wrap it up for the first football episode or the, of the actual game breakdowns. We did a futures player props episode with Steffi over in Vegas. But either way, it's going to wrap it up for the show. Adam can use recap or three plays one more time. Yeah. Remodels Stevenson touched down. Tomorrow Douglas under 12 and a half longest reception. And Cooper Cup 30 plus receiving yards. And for my three plays, Drake May and reception at minus 114. George Hullani, longest Russia under 9.5 yards minus 115. And Sam Darnold, first quarter passing yards under
55 and a half at minus 112. Got to wrap it up for the show. Back once again tomorrow. It will be a spreads episode tomorrow as we get into our circuit picks for circuit millions. But until next time, good luck to all of you and all of your bets. Bye everyone.
