The Hockey Gambling Podcast on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network is brought to you by the Free Roll Football Contest. $3,000 up for grabs, enter today at sportsgundepudcast.com slash Free Roll. Hello and welcome to the Hockey Gambling Podcast. I am your host Greg. Robert joined by Joel Meyer at Sharn, our Dramasiano here on a Wednesday night NFL kicked off, but only seven points and a half times. Looks like a very low scoring game going on over there. But how are we doing tonight, boys? Doing all right, still recovering from a very degenerate trip to Edmonton. Spent all of Tuesdays sleeping, but a little bit more productive, a little bit more awake and aware today.

Unlike the Seattle offense, which of course are currently lacking Sam Donald after five plays. Going out with a hip injury sounds like. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, so that bad times there for Seattle. Thank we happened now and not last year. But yeah, so far. Interesting game, I guess. I was thinking about the over. Thank you. I never took it because that doesn't have a shot anymore. Yeah, it's been a decent day here back back in the swing of things. Awesome weekend of college football. A lot of good stuff going on there. I say awesome. It's just L.C. kicked him a shit out of constant 51 to 10. That's a domination by the lane train. So things are looking good for the L.C. Tigers. Yeah, that's encouraging, but yeah, here we are back at it. Hopefully get on a bit of a roll going forward until the start of the season. But yeah, doing well here. How about you, aren't you? I'm doing all right. Got my wins. I'm teeth coming in.

So if I start to start around or my eyes starts twitching. That's the reason for it. It's not because I'm just going like. But you know, I'm doing all right. I'm in the dream. How about you, Mr. Gilbert? Yeah, I don't think I went quite as hard as weekend as Joel did, but I took a long weekend. Went up to New York City for a few days. So it's a bar up in there at my my steak dinners. I got back yesterday. So today was my my sleep kind of catch up day. So yeah, might be a something maybe a sleepier pod here for us as we talk about for lesser teams. The bottom half of the central division. But it was just say rest of the piece to Barry Melrose. Apparently he passed away earlier this evening. So he was a great great guy. It was one of the one of the few NHL personalities on ESPN that were actually worth listening to. So hopefully all the best to him and his family there indeed. Yeah, makes yeah, as Joel said, hopefully we can get into a bit of a role here going into the season. We go on less than three weeks, three weeks until the start of the season.

So I make sure you are subscribed to that again podcast on Apple podcast. Spotify YouTube's where we go live, a lot of line movement early in the season. So make sure you catch us live there. Subscribe there we're going live around this time. You know, nine, 10 Eastern most Monday was the Friday during the season. So leading up to that will will be a little bit more here and there. We're hopefully getting that going. SGP I'm still giving back to Columbia's check that out. Sponsored gun podcast.com slash relief there. Any relief going on in Vancouver with Zeeb William, good amount of long term extension. Yeah, it's a different plan of attack for this organization this franchise. I don't remember the specific number, but it's a fairly hefty A A V but for eight years, I think that's a. It's 8.37% or something like that. I thought it was nine, but that's even better. It could be nine. I could be wrong. So like that range 9.38. Oh, yeah.

Yeah, so obviously the connoxer had no place to attend for the next few years, but maybe. The back after this contract, the connox can find themselves to be a real playoff team and having a contract like this. If Zeeb William keeps tracking the way he is as a legitimate 1D, I don't know if we can actually say that just yet, but that's the kind of risky play with these kinds of long term deals where I could look really fucking good or really fucking bad. But that's the way you have to do it. If you want to be if you're a Stanley Cup or if you're any tell team, you have to win the Stanley Cup, right? That should be the goal. So I think groomer bust is the way to do it. Because even on any bust, you could at least keep tanking. Just keep tanking. Sorry. Yeah, it's better than being in the merchant middle, like some measly six million five year contract and then after year four, he's like. And demanding like 50 million something steep like that if you actually pans out so getting those extra few years, I think is worth the risk.

Yeah, this guy has got a lot of talent, a lot of potential. So it's just about developing that and it could be a real big deal if the connox ever turned out to be a real playoff team five or six years. It's trial time, buddy. Anyways. Yeah, it just goes to show you how great Kent Hughes has been and once you're all getting land hues for less money at eight, what eight point eight five something like that. So, you know, who would you rather have Zeef at less than 200 games play with like what 35 points or something stupid. His contract or fucking lane, Hutchinson. But yeah, I mean, it's alright. It might just be like a, you're like a pair of candy at that price anyways, so try what you're paying for the end. It is whatever. Yeah, I feel like it's a little bit over and over, apparently they wanted to get it done before the 15 so I could get it for those eight years before that goes away. I'm just, I'm just skeptical of if he can be a first pair of defenseman that you can like build around or if he's more the kind of support second pair guy that might not be quite that chemical or Quinn Hughes level.

But we'll say he's still 20. He's plenty young. I didn't realize his college numbers were as good as they were putting up 98 points in 83 games there at Denver. I'm not sure if you guys are aware how much flyers fans care about Zeef William because they traded back out of that pick. So flyers fans are always comparing Zeef William to Gentluchenko who has got to road too much advantage. So we'll keep an eye on the on Zeef William. But yeah, we'll see if he's able to be that one day that Vancouver, Vancouver needs. All right, let's just get rid of it to here central division starting with the bottom team, the team with the longest odds to win the division and working our way up, starting with the the Chicago Black Hawks here last year. Their line was 67 and a half points. They got to 72 so they got over last year. And now their line is all the way up at 79 and a half after an interesting offseason because as an offseason as a whole.

Really confusing the boat go buy room trade was very confusing in that contract, but that makes them better this year bringing Patrick Kane in coal, cold Smith Jordan Greenway, cutie parkers Sam Lafferty, William K. So I love in Andre Berkowski. Connor Bernard will be missing the first month plus of the season due to a injury sustained. He was a shoulder injury and throughout while training up there in Vancouver. But Chicago is a team this year that I think I'm, I'm high on there. Six to one to make the playoffs. I'm not sure if I would take that early on, I could see that. a by-law opportunity without Connor Bredard there for the first months. But what are you guys thoughts on the Black Hawks? Yeah, this team were looking really good the first couple months of the season until a Bredard injury and they utterly fell apart. Yeah, they were like in a plathmix for throat that first couple months span. And yeah, once they lose their premier winger, their star talent,

everything else kind of felt very parallel to the devil season. I think although the devil still have a lot more talent than the Black Hawks throughout the lineup. So it's a little bit more understandable for the Hawks failing to translate their early season success into late season success. Yeah, this is the team that is very frustrating. I'm not a big fan of their GM, but trying to keep it hard around, which is why they keep signing these veteran players to prove to him that they are competitive team. And I'm not sure if that'll work, but yeah, you have an interesting Roman Cancer off as a big guy coming in. Strap it from two years ago, three years ago, coming in from the KHL, or you slot it in as the winger here on day with base up. But I think they wanted them to center at some point. Yeah, it's a team that's pretty old considering it's as opposed to this team that they're

you know, it's been bad forever. So you think there'd be a lot more talent in lineup, but I'm not seeing like that. This is our older board. Okay. Sure, but you have for Tuesday, you got the Patrick Kane terrifying and like, did not. Backheads more younger. The backheads more younger than the you talking about the forwards though. Like if you look at it, I mean, that is a pretty young Z-Fetz, of course, right there. I mean, they have a pretty mixed, you know, forward group. I'll give you that, but I think this is overall young team. I don't want to say it's old. Yeah, I mean, Patrick Kane signing really kind of skews thing at 37. Bertuzy Teravine, they're definitely. Me, Greenway too. It's a little older. Greenway, Denato, Denato's 30 already. They have Manjia Pani. Manjia Pani must be hurt, I guess, but he's under contract, under Manjia Pani for. Buck, he is. What's the story for life line up stuff?

Yeah, they're back end, yeah, bi-room, plastic, encoals or veteran guy. They're, yeah, what, Kaiser, Levchenoff, they got, they're a good young team. And then, you know, most importantly, like I think, I feel like Spencer Knight is a potential, if according to one former hockey oboe, I guess, potentially, I invest the trophy candidate. Dilly, may I may go for this, but tonight, he's was, was he a first round pick, second round pick? I forgot exactly, traded for, traded for Seth Jones. He's going to be their starter. They got him left up at the 5.8 million dollar contract, but like, you add Conor Bernard to this mix, you drop from Dow down to second line, is art at the third line. I don't know if it's like six to one seems too long for the playoffs. Do you guys agree or do you think that's probably where they should be? I'd say they probably have a wide band. I think they could. I feel like they really, they're going to really go over, or they're really going to go under. Like, it's, it's a fair price. I don't, I don't, it really depends if

Frontel and Nizar could really hold the front and down the middle, I think. In the end, maybe Cancer Off 2 is the sky. He's pretty much a good stud I've heard from the KHO. So, it's possible that they take a step forward these young guys. They really hold the fourth down with Bernard. I don't know if Bernard really misses that much time though. He might come back sooner. He's shown the willingness to come sooner than later, especially if you remember, from his work this season, when he broke his draw, he still came back early. But I almost like, well, almost like a month. Yeah, you need to come back earlier from that. So, I think that's always an outrage of outcomes. Especially if the young D's like steps forward, they still have, I know, Rizal is a good puck mover. You have left and off. We really didn't look that great, but he could always come forward. A big effort though this off season was to bring a little bit more off the rush with Byron with Kane. These guys will add a lot more with Bernard, giving a little bit more help with that as well. So, I actually think there's going to be a little bit more offense potential for this team. So, I don't hate that look. It's excellent. That's

pretty long. It was the same price to be like the worst team in the league. So, it's like, I forgot to check with that type. I think that's around 10 to 1 or shorter. I would say. I actually like plus some 50 even. So, it's around a little kneesley. Point, Worcerec could be a seven to one for Worcerec. I'd rather take them to make the playoffs and have the Worcerec. Yeah. I think I'm more down on this team than you guys. I did bet the under pretty hard there. It's come down a lot, but even at 79.5, I can only look that way. I don't think that this team are good at all, especially in the central division. 20 good teams in here. How like every team in the division better than them. Yeah, I'm definitely going to pass on the hawks to make the playoffs. I would act myself. I would rather do the worst record in the league, but not something I bet myself, but yeah, I'm more down on this team. You know, you can see that the defense is young and all that, but there's a bad defense. Like, Brope Ironman is your first. Yeah. First offense, that's a new role for him. Outside of when the car was hurt a bit in the style of the count run, where he had to really

take over, but other than that, he hasn't shown the capability to stay healthy, to be at first line defense. So maybe you can do it. I'll pay to see it. I just don't love this lineup. The management is bad. Who's the coach now? Blasho. Blasho. Yeah. Still Blasho. Yeah. I don't like the coach either. So goal tenning's big mystery. Especially night had to be phenomenal for them to win a lot of these games too. So yeah, it's not a good mix. Yeah, speaking of Blasho, I was looking up what his Jack Adams odds were because I mean, if they'd hate to play, I also have a shot there. I'm not. Sixty to one is his Jack Adams. Sixty to one. Okay, that's a lot better than six to one to make a well. That's a parallel score. Fandall says 33 to one on Fandall. That's right. That may be more in line. But you know, in line with that, if Spencer Knight does win a ton of games, 50 to one for the Vest Nostal seems pretty short there. But my favorite bet, besides Jack Adams, might be from Dell to win to

win the Cullter at nine to one. I feel like he's being slept on a little bit. He was just as good in the SHL pretty much as he was better than Vigo Borg, Gork, they played on the same team. I don't know compared to Stenberg how they were, but I could see Fandall coming in and having a 60-70 point season where he's already kind of more established than Martone and McKenna, especially at nine to one, I feel like that's a good look there. Yeah, not good enough for me. No. No, I mean, not all I go with Stenberg. Like six to one or whatever it is. I guess Fandall would have a prominent role, but so will Stenberg with San Jose should be able to come into the line up pretty well. And he's got a lot more star power. Fandall is going to be more of a two-way guy as well. He'll do one of the defense version, which does not appeal himself to voters as much as the scoring capabilities of a Stenberg.

Yeah, I mean, their whole season really loves the guys like if Bidarkin's day relatively healthy once he comes back, right? Like he was in the run for, you know, the rocket and the art roster. He was tied with Celebrity for most of it until he was injured. So it's, uh, it's certainly an interesting lurker looking for the heart to if he comes back sooner. Like, he doesn't miss that, but he gains it. It's still possibly. He kills it. I don't think this too far off of this power, I can improve. And he racks up the points. Has that same still like Celebrity like season he had last year, where it's just like he has some many more points than the other guy. And uh, he just kind of brings the value to his team. Maybe we as we know, right? Yeah, it's rolls set up top, right? But he went down the whole season one, all right? Uh, so yeah, apparently, but art is supposed to mix probably at least a month according to a report from yesterday of Scott Powers. So going on. He was, uh, the ice practicing getting. Yeah, yeah, I hope you out there. But shoulder injury, they may give him, make sure he's 100% before he comes back. Yeah, we'll see how the black hawks are doing. Maybe that's a

by-low spot in the, uh, the thing. But yeah, I'm just kind of seeing like, could the black hawks be last year's sharks? The big difference is the division because central division black hawks aren't going to beat the top teams there when the sharks had some upset wins over, you know, the top teams in their division because they were so up and down with Vegas and have been zanned. But no, I think Chicago. Yeah, I want to take the over or the under. I would take one of these longer shots either to make the playoffs or an award or something like that. Definitely high band team. All right, going up north here up to boring cold ass Winnipeg last year Winnipeg's line was set at 97 and a half. They finished with 82 points. They're at 84 and a half this season. Plus 2 forward and make the playoffs minus 2 60 to miss it. What do you got things here of the Jets? Well, a lot of it comes down to the status of Connor Helbach, who is requested to trade and seems to be, I don't know, at war with management there in terms of like trying to get out of Winnipeg. We'll see what all ultimately transpires. Same thing going on with Dylan Marken in Detroit, but yeah, it's hard to really gauge this team without that because without Helbach, this team are almost a lottery team considering how well he's played for them last couple of years. Not as well last year as they're before, but he's still the heartbeat of this team and they've been kind of leaking talent for a while now, even as they try to get the biggest sign. It's notably

pick a lot of e-lars you before. It's a big loss for them. Now look at their line up. It's not a lot going on there. Just a lot of middle six guys. I mean, I'm Shifley didn't have the best year last year. Connor kind of took a step back as well, although he had a, I think it's first half of season, he was actually letting up the league. Shifley didn't take a step back. I don't want to pick at you, but he had over 100 points. Yeah, Shifley had 100 points, but would shock me last year because he's like 34, 35, like he's getting up there. All right, I stand corrected. I don't know, but Jeff's team just in general seemed a lot more pedestrian last year than they did. They did do. Reliant as they are on the gold tending. It's just, we saw this point total go down. Five points based mostly on the hell of our trader quest. Yeah, it's a huge league of the point season last year after winning the presses trophy.

Not even making the playoffs. So, yeah, only place to go up is up from there. Yeah, it's a very uninspiring team roster, coaching as well. Yeah, I don't have a lot to say, but the Jets right now, I mean, the top line is pretty fucking strong. A lot of you, Shifley Conner, after that, it falls off a cliff. I mean, you know how much I love Culper Fettie, but I'm quite delivered on my promises however many years ago that was when I said he was the best player in that draft. Yeah, the other youngsters haven't really performed as well. It's an older team. Getting weaker by the year, I think. Yeah, without Halbuk, if he goes, it's going to be a pretty damn up poor season, I think for that. But 84.5 is a little total now considering where they've been in years prior. That'd be the lowest total in a while for you to discount last season.

Yeah, yeah, like it didn't do much in the off season. Replace Conner with Skinner, Broad and Marriott Ferraro, Lost Taves, of course, and I just have my quest there. But as you brought up, they're very, very top every team. Shifley 103 points, Conner 92, Valardi 69, Josh Morrisley 55, and then it's all the way down to your boy, Culper Fettie at 32. At 32 points. It's the top line on the ice, the top power play, or it's just nothing going on in Winnipeg. If you get rid of Halbuk, does get traded. I imagine they try to get some young players, future assets. Shifley 33 now, Conner 29, 30. They should just do a full-on rebuild. But I can't see that working in Winnipeg. Who's their backup now? If Halbuk goes, it's going to be Skinner and boy over the get. Yeah, probably they get arch where you think of Winnipeg. All right, so here's what I understand of this team. They can't do a full-on rebuild. They

can't afford to be a bad team because then nobody will ever watch them and want to go to Winnipeg. Nobody wants to go to Winnipeg now. So if they're even worse, nobody's going to win after go there. So they can't. They have to retool. This is the team that can be bad, especially when you have Kyle Conner, Josh Morris, he comes in, comes up, Dylan Sanbury, you have Marriott who's still at their best in the career. He's still on youth. He's like Brad Euglamburt. Maybe they let them him play a little bit more. Cole Pfeffredi, Vigo Bjork, Joel's guy. So they're going to be some youth that injected in the lineup. What it really comes down to is what they get for Conner Halbuk. What kind of pieces they can get for depth. That will matter if they can go over it on their at that point. I took under, really it's the season. I'll see you in next week. I knew that was coming. The Halbuk trader quest. It was already like big talk about April. So there were some levels to it. There was either draft, Buffalo tried to get him, but now the price has come to a way down because he put out that note. I want to be traded by a trader camp. I don't want to be here.

So I would expect I would hope. I think it'll happen next week. He gets traded. So whether that's like whatever team steps up in the end, but it really just depends what they get. So as far as it looks, I will say under, but I don't think Worcerec would just play. This team doesn't can't be bad. They can't afford to be bad. So all that matters in the end for roster Redditorated the future health of this team. Yeah, I was just looking at Worcerecured 13 to 1 because if they do trade Halbuk and get mostly futures back, that could be in play. But then I think back to us looking at the Cadux roster and the Flames roster and just how piss poor they were. So unless like Connor and Schifley both get hurt, this team is still going to still going to put up some wins because I'm going to put up some points. This is a team that I don't think I would have a bet on. I think if I had to, I would would take the under just because the division is so good around them, but minus 260 isn't isn't good enough to miss the playoffs. Don't really

think there's any awards bets we're looking at. So the Jutser just going to be a boring steam up there on one pick. Very much. All right, let's go on here to team a little bit more interesting. The St. Louis Blues had a very active offseason. Did not trade rapper Thomas. They named him the captain there instead. They traded Jordan Kyru to Washington. They got that kind of economic Michael among other pieces also traded for Mason McTavish added Brandon Carlo and Rosh Johnston. Only really piece they lost was Jordan Kyru who looked to be kind of on his way out for a bit there, but they got Snuggaroo coming up. He's a good rookie. Dvorski was great. Up a common player. They have a carburetor too. He could make the team. Neighbors has looked good for them. Holloway as well. So the Blues are a team that might be actually retooling here depending on how their goaltending shakes out with with Hofer and. Yeah, I'm not

level of the steam personally. As Droll does we have a little head to head. He's taking the over. I'm taking the under. I look at the steves back and I think it's ugly. I think they were propped up by unsustainable goaltending last year from mostly Hofer. What? Hofer was great. Awful. Yeah. What was their. Hofer was a good goalie last year. Benedict it was useless. 10 873 Hofer 909 team percentage 893. They weren't carried by goaltending. I was that's. Yeah, but it was mostly like Hofer. That's what I'm saying. They're carried by like like him being. Now they know the first start of goalie. Yeah, then Benedict kind of came along towards the end. So I think eventually he'll be traded. But in the end, I think this team is still trading off pieces to retool. I don't think they'll be a playoff team. Maybe they'll be in the mix. I really don't believe in it. Not really big on the bottom six either. I mean, I know. Super is good, but it's got

but overall, I think it's still retooling team. They're still looking for pieces to sell off, especially when you have campfowler on the back end. So I'm poor ankle, who they were trying to trade as well. So I think they're still selling. So at least we tune under. And they need some better defense because my you. L instant fowler or pretty ugly and Carlos kind of like a traffic cone. I'm not going to lie as a former brewed player. He was the best player in that historic fucking season in the games of a loss. He was the best defenseman in that saying something because he's terrible because he's just traffic. So not really at level of the defense of parent. Either it's pretty bottom bottom of the barrel. My opinion. Yeah, last last year the line was 92 and a half. They got to 86 and they're at 86 and a half for the season. Yeah, I lost a lot of money betting their unders after a little bit break. And that's why I'm Joel Hopper went out of fucking pair. He's getting a shout out. So one goal game is out of your freaking game. So yeah, he was definitely hot down the stretch. But before that goal, then he was

the opposite of hot. And yeah, you talk shit about this blue line. I don't actually mind it. You know, look at my usual show up. Potentially he's a lot of pedigree. Philip Broberg has been great since coming over from Emotin. Paraco still a good player. I think I think Paraco's underrated. He made team. He made team Canada at least for the four nations. I don't know if you made it for the Olympic team. He's a, he's a, he's a, him on the second pair is, is a luxury. Yeah, I don't know anything about Linnstein, but Fowler and Carly, you could say that they're past their primes, but as a third pair, I guess that's fairly solid. It's pretty slow now, but yeah, I don't hate this team. I don't think they're going to win the Stanley Cup rating, but I think that they could get into a playoff mix, you know, 991, 92 points. So considering how hot they were towards the end of the last period of the season, I don't think they found something. And there's a lot of young talent up front as well. He said the re-truly, but yeah, you know, Dvorowski, Mike Michael, McTavish, he could find some

some glitter in a new spot. Robert Thomas, if they're making him the captain, including I'll play him the move of him anytime soon. Jake Nair is another solid player. Yeah, I don't mind this team, plus some Tartafan, the blues. Like I always think that there's a lot of f***ing the ass. Yeah, but think about those, y'all, this could be the year they screw you the other way. Yeah, the flames, the flames sent in. Yeah, yeah. But no, I think that there's a small edge there, and that over 85 and a half, which is that currently. So yeah, I don't mind this team. I think that they're going to fight, and it's a tough division and all that, but yeah, I think that they'll be in the mix. These teams, this team always plays the visional opponents hard as well. They always get up to those games. A little bit less daunting, having to play the AdWine Stars in the wild all the time, if you have that common tovy. Yeah, I think I would go with the over on the blues here. Possibly even a make playoffs, plus 260 if they're, you know, Joe Hofer is taking over a bit.

As Jordan Cairo was a lot worse than I thought last season, 46 points. I think Conor McMichael had more points in that. So that's replacing that, you know, adding McTavish as well. This team might be getting a slept on a little bit, and in a point total of 86 and a half, right around a little bit over 500 isn't, you know, looking at too poorly, but I don't know. I feel like they improved this off season, and their point total went down six points from at the beginning of last year. I haven't bet anything yet. I don't know if I would take the over for the full season on the juice, maybe find a a war to trade with out there. You can have some long-term stuff, but yeah, I would lean to the over here on the blues. I feel like they have a potential to make the playoffs. Could be the 15 in this division, and I think five teams in the central are going to end up maybe the post season. Many player awards, not really, right? Don't many rookies. Don't really have any star players worth looking at here. Maybe if that's the look for you guys for Hofer.

Okay. Carter trophy. No, don't just carve it out. I don't think he's going to actually make his full-time debut yet. Snuggler Roots missed it out last year. So yeah, nothing here. We're friends off for player futures. But this we're talking about a underdog. Underdog. Who wants to be millionaire this football season? All right, final team of today's show in the central is the national predators. Last year finished with 86 points right there with the blues. Over their 83 and a half this year they're at 85 and a half points over under pretty decent off season for them. Got in Maverick Bork, Jack Dury, Ross Colton, Alex Kerfoot, a few former star trade and a few forward avalanche, Kittapartures, Zachary Leroux, Eric Halla. No, I'm really too important there for the predators, but I don't know, I just feel like this predator's team kind of missed the boat a little bit. Like Stamco, St. Marcia, so weren't worth paying for. Forsberg's still really good or Riley is good, not quite a one C still of OC. So as long as he's still pushing along along with UCSAROS,

this team has potential, but I don't have a good read on this team one way or the other. Yeah, I like this team better before they made that trade last week for what got getting rid of the 24 year old player that look at Vegellista. I like the over and then mainly they trade a good young piece. So I don't know what the vision is here in Nashville. It's like, let's just tread waters and be like a mid team, I guess. I don't know, I don't get it. How do you try a 24 year old like that? I mean, they got good return, I guess, but it's going to be late first and the mid second. So I don't get it. I mean, Maverick Bork is a great ad. They had a great bottom six. Just pretty much make it so that way I can hem in their own zone, fucking every single time for the top guys to come on the ice as far as I know, but outside that, don't know what the vision is with this team. They could either make make miss and I would wouldn't be surprised. Yeah, you said right there at the vision, this team, this franchise are

lacking a vision currently. Like they went all out with the martial sauce, downcoast, fridges, these blash, I fell for it and they fell for it. Yeah, they should the bed and they seem to be in a confused state ever since, you know, they're not tanking, they're not going to win anything with this lineup. So I know they have a pretty healthy prospect pipeline coming up now with Matthew Wood as a defensive player, that I got Maverick Bork in there. Some other guys there in Milwaukee Admills, I believe, is their farm team, but still like they're loaded up on these big contracts, but for as much as they're martial stankos, I'm not sure if they're going to win in the near future with those guys making as much money as they do. It's not quite enough star-cowler there, especially with Yoshi and Soros getting so old. Yeah, so like, like, Roger, I have nothing to say about this team. I think it's, it's like I'm pretty correct way, very confusing. You're talking about wide bands,

I don't think there's a wide band here. Yeah, it's pretty proper now. Exactly. 86, guaranteed. Yeah, a narrow band. Yeah, all those shut up, Sunny Mehta, clearly, a amount of genius, trying to way look at Bangelista. I mean, look at that return. Like that is obviously a late first and a mid-second like that is gross. There's the goal of them hills, boy. Yeah, I guess they traded at Evangelista because they knew Wood was going to make the roster and play in the top six. They didn't want Evangelista playing in a bottom six role, so just trade him for futures, but yeah, that was that was a weird look. I'm trying to find maybe some player awards for this. Soros, yeah, 101 for the Vesna on Fandall. Yeah, I think I said the Soros like two months ago. Yeah, sorry, he's 40 to one on drafting. So it's still a wide margin there. If you're a believer, Roman Yoshi 101 for Norris on Fandall, 40 to one elsewhere. So there's some options out there. If you're

high on the predators or predators fan for some reason, but yeah, this seems just in the mushy middle of a division, they can't be in the mushy middle of. If they were in the Pacific, maybe, you know, they can maybe sneak out a division win even or make the playoffs. But right now, I think there are odds of plus two fifths in the playoffs minus two 65 to miss are pretty accurate. It's not long enough for me to want to take it and I'm not full on fading them either. So this is just a team to maybe try to buy lower by high on during the season. I don't know. Pretty cool if they bring in Brea Martin too after drafting him. So yeah, that's one of those guys over for an injury. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's another one that I'd like to see. Is he might he make the team? He might. Okay. Yeah, I mean, you got a rookie camp's coming up. So he has got rookie camp there. So what's what's what's Brady Martin for the call? He has to be pretty long. He scored a goal this first game last year. Brady Martin did make the team or the call to trophy 101 on on the score

81 on drafting. So if you're a predator's fan short, go wild. Put a few bucks on it. You had a lot of money getting picked fifth overall a couple years ago. So he has a warm spot in my heart. Exactly. And he got the flyers poured in Martone. I don't know why the predators passed on Martone for Brady Martin. Yeah, I'm pretty martyred is like a St. Benic guy. You know, that's why I guess St. Benet won the cons might, you know, it's a copycali again. I just don't like to say absolutely. Absolutely. All right. Any final thoughts on this team or these four teams? Kind of watch them live in season. Well, how they kind of perform and then adjust accordingly. I guess like if they all suck, then just put down this. Like, let's say this team gets really injured right here. Like the breads, you know, maybe they get mega injured and you just go, all right, let's just start taking them unders or jam with them in there. It's still like 80 because like if they lose like, um, Stamco's, Forsberg, I don't think this team is doing shit at that point. Um, but yeah, they have a solid love team. That's a bit team.

16 to one for the worst record, which I feel like is probably too short because they have a decent floor. Yeah. If you had to take one of these teams to win the division, uh, these three at 45 to one or black clocks at 80 to one, uh, if you had a free bet, you had to use a one of those four, what would you do? The blues. What if I do one? All right. Um, what has to happen here? Uh, give me the black clock. I didn't want to do it. I'm free bet that fucking. Yeah, because you know, Jeff's won the division two years ago. That's yeah, that's what I thought I was saying about like, maybe they convinced they can vent. Hello, Buck to stay. They can't vent. Hello, Buck to stay. And he comes, they wouldn't miss you. Yeah, that would be wild. Well, we'll say, I mean, we'll talk about the four teams that have an actual, an actual chance to win a division. Uh, whatever, I don't know. So you're going to wave this weekend? Yeah, going camping. Same place, but I got fucking burned. We'll see if I, uh, five of the second round. The fire. Yeah. So we'll wrap things up

next week, probably starting with the end of the central division, then getting into the, the Eastern Conference there. Um, and anything for this weekend, any college football, any, uh, uh, tennis, Joel, Joel, what, what a, what a classic last night. People are shitting about it because that's the longest finish ever at a US Open with the Alcras in Shelton. I don't know why I started a fucking 11 o'clock local time. Yeah, I don't know. It's just for the Spanish people to see Alcras. So they can wake up in the morning. Well, no, it's just because I think every match before that went the full. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. So it was a great day of tennis. I watched it all day at work. I was having a great day. Nice. Nice. But, uh, yeah, I mean, Rebecca, I still live. I thought that she was cooked. Like I bad herb before she got injured a couple weeks ago. It's Cincinnati. I want to say or the, or the term of four months, I'll maybe, I don't know, but she's always hurt. All right. She's killing it out. She's going to get Coco in the same files. The Tendo one. It's a little, we're still alive there. Um, but yeah, our only,

we didn't bet anything to US Open once in her retired. So, uh, I didn't either. Yeah, I just, I got the refunds. Um, yeah, American, yeah, Sarah, he's got a very easy path. Once again, cash enough is going to be his opponent in the next round. Um, yeah, I'm going to go to American semi final. It was shot in the Tiafo. Yeah, should be shown. Tiafo wears too much pink. I can't get behind that. It's too distracting. You know, it's just, you know, that's why he almost lost the other day. He had a great, fucking comeback though. That was a great match. I gotta give it to him. To extract. Yeah, but the finals Saturday for the women's and Sunday for the men. Imagine. Yes, sir. All right. I saw champions league started this week too. Drill, you must be, you must be living it up. You have football going on. You know, football is going on. You know, tennis. Hockey's coming back. What the group stage started already? I've been paid attention. Yeah. Group stage started to mess around today. And I told you about my weekend, the game. I'm out of it. Football's back. I was very sad. One thing at a time, man.

I called football. No NFL. I can't be too good. August has nothing. And then just fucking everything. Everything is a camp. Everything starts to September. All right. Make sure you are subscribed to that yellow podcast. Everywhere. Those spots were written reviewed on Apple's Spotify. We've seen comments on YouTube. We'll be back sometime for a week.
