Hey, friend, how's the year? Hey, Lars. And welcome back to Going in Raw, the only pro-resoling podcast you need to be listening to on today's episode. We've got a bunch from the world, the professional wrestling news that you want us to talk about,
including Nick Conn claiming that WWE WrestleMania plans creatively are already set. They are done. And he says the Triple H is the greatest mind in professional wrestling. Also, Mark Shapiro, Word Vomits, some stuff about Disney and Restructured Talent Contracts. Resized is the word he used. Resized. Downsized, probably. That's more like it. And then what else we have? Oh, wrestler pooped himself at all out 2023. Find out who it was. How is that not lead story, honestly? It really should be. And of course, we've got, oh man, this AW Dynamite. They did such a good job with that ALS stuff and Rebel and all that. Oh boy, I got Misty Island. I did too. I did too at the end of that match when Brit's running off with Rebel and Rebel, but that turns the crowd. Brit's starting to cry and Rebel's crying. Guess what? Larsen cried too. They did a terrific job with that.
So we're going to talk about, oh that. But first, let's talk about this. It's in the what you want us to talk about section, which you can have access to by clicking the subscribe button and the notified bell right here on the YouTube. This first one is from Tyler Price's right, who says Nick, come on. Where you ever good at that, like when you watch on the television? What's Price's right? Yeah, oddly enough, when I was a kid and when I didn't shop for anything, yes. Wow. Now as an adult, I don't really watch Price's right anymore because I have stuff to do during the day. You know, but you know, when I didn't have a job and used to watch daytime TV as an adult, I did less good because I think in my mind, it's Price's right. These were what the prices were circa 1987, you know. Oh, I got you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, you didn't adjust for inflation. So this is what Tyler Price's right has to say. Nick Khan has been talking out the side of his neck all week, talking about Triple H being
the best Saudi Mania creative being set and paying wrestlers more, not less. So what is this that he's talking about? So this was on. Oh, wait, that's the martial pure stuff. Here it is. He was on a, Nick Khan was on the varsity podcast that was released yesterday on Wednesday. He talked about a whole range of stuff. This way you'd say about Triple H. The context of this is addressing social media criticism and how they don't cater to it. This way you'd say about Triple H. You have to rely on the team you know. We have the best creative in terms of all of wrestling at Triple H. Real name Paul LeVec. Thank you, Nick. Thank you. We have the best live events team in my opinion. We have the best merchandise consumer products team. They're able to monetize it. He talks about growth and all that. But you know, he's saying Triple H number one creative mind and all wrestling. I mean, you know, if you know, making money is, I mean, we know that's not the case.
Like saying, you know, Michael Bay is like the number one creative mind. I'm saying when Michael Bay was still like a really, you know, money making machine basically. Yes. When Michael Bay was maybe the most profitable director in Hollywood, by this logic, you'd say Michael Bay was the top author in all of Hollywood because it's money. Yeah. Right. I mean, I guess, you know, the case, if we're going to stick with that analogy these days, that's for Nolan is critically acclaimed by many in, you know, in film criticism and his money's make just ungodly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But I don't really think Triple H real name, Paul LeVec is a Christopher Nolan, but that's just my opinion. What do I know? No, I think you're right. Because as we've seen recently at WTV, there's not a whole lot of effort seemingly made in terms of turning out consistently compelling storylines. I mean, they make a lot of money, but like it's, it's not exactly like they're growing
their own business seemingly in terms of like people actually watching because you see their ratings going down the, going down the turlite. Yeah. We're all talking creative. Let's talk WrestleMania 43 creatives. This is what Nick Khan had to say on that same podcast. Talk about WrestleMania quotes. Never been outside of the US or Canada. It's going to be in Riyadh. It's going to be a significant show. It's WrestleMania. It's a therapy. That's me saying that. It better be, dammit. Nick continues. We're already across the creative. Of course, that subject to any injury. We're already across the creative. I've heard that phrase before, across the creative. I might steal it because I don't know like when I saw this was like, we're already across the creative. I wonder if it's like an internal phrase they use? I could be. If you're across the creative, that means I guess you're on the other side. It's been decided on. It's on the whiteboard there in the writers room. Yeah, so you can't, you know, they don't use dry erase markers as we know. They use permanent markers on the dry erase board. They use sharp erase. Monday after WrestleMania, they got replaced the whiteboards in the writers room.
Or if somebody does get injured, they got to replace all that stuff. It notes here in this wrestling news.co rundown of this quote. It says seven months early by WWE's own standards. A little bit early given that triple H is said October. I think it was on on the first season of Unreal. He said October, we started thinking because a lot of times these days, like war games will sometimes inform kind of what's going on. Many I mean, one of the matches you got to figure is I feel like when he says this man, I feel like what he means is they know it Roman's going to do and that's probably loose though with Femi. Yeah, and they probably know what punks going to do. They probably know maybe like the top three or four storylines heading into wrestling. I doubt the entirety of the card is in place. I mean, that's a bit more like I am kind of curious if they do have some sort of idea what the night one main event would be because obviously Roman's a night two guy. Like what the night one, there's a lot of moving pieces on Smackdown.
So I kind of wonder, all right, well, what do they got going? Punks the champ now. Is he going to remain that way and lose again at WrestleMania? Or is it possibly going to walk into WrestleMania? Punk versus Cody part two, maybe. I mean, QB one, QB one's got a main event. One of these nights, maybe, maybe, maybe QB one is given a QB two, some reps. See if he's got what it takes to maybe one day ascend to QB one. That could be, you know, they're in Saudi. See, I mean, he got a figure that maybe they want Sammy and Kevin Owens again, which would be great, you know, hey, give him 20 minutes and they'll cook. Yeah, let him cook. I'm cook for sure. But yeah, you know, it also what he should have said, of course, was we're across creative on WrestleMania, pending Mark Shapiro or Emanuel stick in a celebrity in our asses. Yeah. Because they might do that. Yeah.
And obviously Dwayne, it's not like Moana was a big hit. He needs a win. So bring him in. Yeah. Moana was the opposite of a hit. What's not going on? What is Dwayne going on right now? What's going on? He's got another Jumaji movie on the dock. He does. Those are popular. Those are, those are, they make money, I think. Well, so did, so did, so did the first Moana. Well, yeah, even Moana too made money, I think. Yeah. Yeah. That movie was very good. And then like 10 years after the first one, did you go see the second one? I did. Yeah. Yeah, not very good. It was supposed to be initially a TV show. They just, instead made a movie. Does that, Disney's thing now, isn't it? So he's got a fast and furious movie, fast forever. He's got Jumaji. He's got that movie where he's playing a character named Chicken Man called Lizard Music. Isn't that a, the, the sap, one of the sapies? Yeah. And then he's got three other movies in pre-production on top of that.
I mean, the furious one in the Jumaji, those are like, hey, you know what, we need, we need a guaranteed win here. We need to go in, we need a win. And so those are two, I think you'd probably get some wins there. I would say of the two, the fast and furious movie, assuming I think it's being built as the last one is the sure. It's a home run. That's a home run right there. You know, it's been a while since the Jumaji movie has come out. So I don't think you can assume that here's a thing too. The rock is the star of the Jumaji movie. He's front center in the marketing and stuff, right? Yes. And if the idea black and maybe the idea is the rock star is start to fade a bit, then that might not have the box office pull of previous movies. However, fast and furious franchise, it's an ensemble. And people go for the ensemble, they go for the cars and they go for the ridiculous action sequences. Obviously, Vin Diesel, you know, is a big deal as well if he's going to be in this. That's the last Jumaji movie.
You're right. It was back in 2019. Yeah. Seven years ago in this. Eighteen. Oh, come out. Eight hundred million dollars. Eight hundred million dollars. Yeah. Off of $125. $125. $125 million budget. Yeah. That was seven years ago. There's a lot of change. It absolutely has. Let's see. I'm going to see if Jack Black and Kevin Hart and this are in this, then let's see. Kevin Hart is. Jack Black is as well. Oh, there it is. Yeah. Yes, it is. He is. So you got to think, man. Oh, also Aquafine is in that movie, Larson. Oh, man. Home run. Oh, that's actually a home run for me. I'll be honest with you. We're going to have to see that one, you know. Yeah, I know. Because of our movie channel. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So we're going to check that one out. Well, next, let's talk about, you mentioned him earlier, Mark Shapiro. Boo. Yeah, you got that right, buddy.
He was at a Goldman Sachs conference, and was talking about balancing talent expenses with amongst all the other line items in probably TKO's budget. We had to say these transcripts come to you from Fightful. He said this. Let's talk about the pay for the superstars and our fighters first. What I tell you is post our deals with the ESPN on DADO B and with Paramount Plus CBS Pcock Sky and UFC and even a little bit post raw with Netflix. We did resize our fighter and superstar pay compensation. That is baked into our numbers. I'm going to take a time pause here. Pause. So for looking at the Paramount Plus deal, the ESPN deal and the Netflix deal. I'm just going to those three, not mentioning CBS Pcock or Sky, because I don't know the nature of those deals. In fact, I don't really know the nature of two of those deals. I don't know if two of those deals are billion dollar deals. I would be shocked that the Paramount Plus wasn't was either for UFC. So we're talking probably three billion dollar deals.
Yeah. And when he says resize, he's not talking up size here. Yeah. He's talking decrease in fighter and superstar salary. At a certain point though with UFC fighters, they really are the stupidest. They make so little money, they're going to start paying to get into these fights. According to Google's AI overview, the median annual earnings for a UFC fighter sits roughly $51,000. Yeah. They make like, Melcer said at one point that UFC fighters make like 10% of what you have like the least, isn't it? Like the least sport. Yeah. Yeah. Which is not shocking considering half the stuff you hear coming out of UFC fighters mald sometimes. It's like you really are, you guys are just beyond smooth brained. Yeah. I guess you hear some of some of what these people say. It's like, oh, this makes a lot of sense. This makes a lot of sense. I need you in the nice. Yeah. He continues this is baked into our numbers.
So there'll be no further adverse impact with regard to how that plays out or divvies out. So he's saying we've locked in these pay cuts. We're locked in and it's not going to change. Yeah. Yeah. He says we're confident with where we sit. We have 600 fighters as an example in our stable UFC. We do do your point really rely on development. Keep in mind that when you look at does it be 75% of the stupasurs come from NXT? They're starting out in our development league and going all the way up. So pipeline is very important to our strategy. We start out with a really small pay. And so when they get up here, their pay is really small compared to where we were like 10 years ago when they'd come in after having made a name for themselves and having more leverage. Yes. And so now we can keep them under lock and key, paying them fucking peanuts. But it's still probably much more than those delts over in the UFC.
And potentially, but keep in mind that Mark Shapiro saying this is the COO of a company that recently signed two if not three billion dollar deals. Yeah. Talking about lowering talent pay, lowering fighter pay and relying a lot more on developmental. So the entry level pay is lower than it would be had they come in and sign from someplace else where they've already developed their own brain. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And he concludes all this with guess what? Our margins will continue to expand. Yeah, because here's the thing, 75% of their WWE wrestlers come from NXT. They will probably want to increase that so that they can continue to keep their pay at an absolute minimum dirt low. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
It's gross. I mean, yeah, dude, you know, that's why we need more competition. Yes. And, you know, the unionizing thing is never going to happen. Yeah, probably. I stop even, I stop even talking about that. Yeah. Because if that were to ever happen, I would rejoice and celebrate, but I'm not counting on ever happening, but you're right. Competition, and by that we mean AW is what's going to help keep pay competitive. And it won't, sadly, it won't be necessarily for people in NXT and just coming up. But the hope is maybe. You know, you have someone who's had a run in NXT, comes up to main roster, had a decent level of success, their contracts up. Well they're a name now. They have some leverage. And I guess the question is, will they exercise that leverage and hopefully make themselves more money? Yeah. Because if it was up to TKO, they would just continually underpay the wrestlers as much
as they could, except for, you know, obviously, your CM punks and Roman Reigns at Cody Road. So they're going to make their money regardless. They're going to make a lot of money. They make a lot of money. They make a standpoint where punks 52 and not as popular as he was, could he be approached, like the New Dayward? Hey, we want you to take a pick. I mean, number one, you know, these wrestlers, they need to get good with their money, you know? Like don't allow WWE to exercise leverage on you, you know? But also, you know, even though yes, they're probably they're paying Roman and Cody and punk, really good money, it's still, but a fraction of probably what they're actual value- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And if you're looking at like, any of the major sport leagues, NBA, major league baseball, although that might change because they have a, they're, they're, they're collecting bargaining agreements up. In a fell, it's usually about a 50-50 split and when it comes to revenue, half it goes to ownership,
half it goes to the players. Yeah, and I, again, last I heard, Meltzer said in WWE, it is low, it's well below that. And I think in AEW, it was around 50%. I believe, yeah, that's been reported. So yeah, if you look at the amount of money which WWE is making, which is a lot versus how much is going to their payroll for their talent, it's nowhere near close to what other athletes are getting as a percentage of the league revenue. No, we're nearer. Yeah, if you, if you take a look at the top five athletes in each major sport and then take a look at what they make based off a percentage of the revenue, and you do the same for WWE and especially UFC. Yeah. You will see some significant difference there. A significant difference. Yep. Yep. And the hope is if, if, you know, there is, the remains competition in the wrestling space and the wrestlers exercise that leverage.
And there's a bidding war per chance for their talents. You know, the hope is maybe wrestler salaries overall will start to rise. So it is more commiserate with other sports league. But again, like AW I think is around 50%. But that's also, and I have no idea if they would raise a but AW is not cut in 50, or you know, they're not cutting billion dollars. No, they're not. Their revenue was much lower. It's much less than WWE's, yes. Yeah. You know, I guess overall, you know, obviously even Roman Reigns as a percentage of WWE's revenue was grossly underpaid. Mm-hmm, sure. Yeah, grossly underpaid. But, you know, you look at something, it's probably someone like Javan Evans. He's probably making decent money. Yeah. But, you know, it's, I think it's a talent in the Mid-Card and upper Mid-Card especially. They're the people who pay really needs to take a significant increase across the board. Yeah. Kind of even close to being a commiserate
with like what the league average is. Right. Yeah. In other, you know, sporting organizations. So, yep. So hopefully everybody knows that they're getting into when they get into the world of wrestling. Yeah. Especially UFC. Jesus. Yeah. Ha-ha-ha. Oh my god, damn it. I had this put down though I anybody want to get an MMA from a financial standpoint. Like, seemingly the days are gone when USC is going to promote their huge names and then they were able to make huge amounts of money. Doesn't seem to have to be a problem. Yeah. This episode of Going and Raw, a sponsor by prize, picks Steve's time to get excited. Woo! Because football is back. Yeah. In this season, I just know it. I'm be seeing it a lot of fly, eagles, fly. Well, say it with me then. Go, birds! No, I'm not going to. Sing it with me fly, eagles fly. Stop. OK, that's a no. What's your point? What's your point, Larson? Oh, my point. So, VJ Brown, no longer on the Eagles. Devante Smith is now. Why'd receiver one? So I'm picking him to have more receiving yards this season. Hopefully, lead Philadelphia to another deep playoff run. I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it. I'm going to be able to do it. And Larson, I drive like an old grandmother. Very slow. Traffic behind me. Huh.
So I'm a road hazard, Larson. I'm not safe for the road. And you're unbothered by it as well. I am, but I want to get better at that, Larson. I think I'm a good driver. What would that discount be? Driving lessons so that I can drive faster, more confidently, not like a nervous wreck going at so slow on the freeway the other day. I was doing 38 miles an hour, Larson. And I feel like I'm an absolute menace on the road. And I feel like if I had somebody maybe to help me with some driving lessons, some discounted rep, well, you're not a license. And I've seen you drive faster. I've been in the car with you. Let's continue on with these whoo, you want us to talk about.
From the world of professional wrestling, David Mtuchek says, W.W. he's possible growing a relationship with Disney. So again, this is from Mark Shapiro one of those Goldman Sachs things. What he had to say. He says, remember, Adobe is a different audience than UFC. They finally realize that. Ha ha ha ha. I can't have told you that, Jack. No. And when it comes to going after families, that's our audience. And I think advertisers are starting to see that, frankly, I'm excited for 2027 because they're working with the Walt Disney Company on some special events around Disney and Adobe and bringing those two audiences together. So I think that's the sense of course, what are they having common? Family. Nothing. Oh, family. That's the biggest part. Because Shapiro says family. It's the reason. You know, look, ringside at Adobe shows, you don't see a whole lot of families there because they're priced out. Yeah, this isn't even bigger leap than, you know, trying to merge the WWB and UFC fan bases. Disney and I want nothing to do with this clown show.
Come on now. Like WWB, they, you know, they're always stumbling over their own feet. Disney is a fine-tune machine, Lars. And I don't think they're going to want anything to do with these carnies, get out of here. Yeah. Like, when Roman Reigns is like, these are circus folk. Get out of here with that. Yeah, no, it, it, it, it, I, Fightful, I'd think, or sorry, WrestleVotes on Fightful, select another thing today regarding this. And it made it sound like one of the options was, you know, like holding WB events that Disney properties. Like, I mean, raw from the Magic Kingdom, you know? Raw from Epcot Center. Yeah. I, you know what, I would actually wager money than that would never fucking happen. No, because here's the thing. We're on the same thing, right? Well, okay, I was going to say Disney would not block off on a matter of time to set up a ring and have a crowd there when they could be selling more tickets. But, I'm sure a one time. You're a man. Hold on, pause, pause. Keep, remember what you're going to say. I don't know what to say. Because of my fucking head, dude.
You're just roaming around. You're roaming around Disneyland and trying to get to the fucking Buzz Lightyear thing. And then over here, you got like a wrestling ring just set up and a couple people. It's like one of those beer fest, you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they got us up curious what's going on here. Yeah, yeah, right. Exactly. And Roman Reigns in the ring. He got Reigns versus Punk. Yeah. I will say this a years ago, this was one of the pires that care of being movies. So this is 15, 20 years ago, maybe. That I was at Disneyland one day. And they closed it early because they were having a premiere for one of the pirate movies there. Yeah, sure. Long time ago, but I guess there is precedent for holding special events at Disneyland and potentially lessening the visitor experience to accommodate that. So like, yeah, and yeah, look, if Disney was interested in this, oh, they could thousand percent do it, absolutely. Yeah, there's a lot of real estate there at Disneyland. Fans in the world, right? They could have it. They could do it at the, they have to do it inside the park either.
There's actually a lot of space they could do it potentially at the, like the intersection of where Disneyland and California Adventure are. Yeah, yeah. Actually within the parks, but there's a lot of room there. You put a ring there and people gather around. Yeah. I would be really surprised. And if I'm proving wrong on this, then so be it. If I kind of feel like what I said is true though, I don't think Disney would want to be associated with WWE. And I don't, I can't even really necessarily express why. I just think that it's like, I don't know, this carny bullshit. Why don't we're Disney? We are Disney. Yeah, I know. I understand that. Yeah. Like pirates that get like holding a screening for pirates to the crib and yeah, because it's their billion dollar franchise. Yes, they're a franchise. Yeah, I get it. Right. And the rest of those things, they also mentioned that, I guess ESPN has a venue somewhere that can seat 9300. Oh, I can see that. I can see that. Which makes that. That's like, yeah, for sure.
The lowest level crossover imaginable. Hey, we're at the ESPN wide world sports center or something like that, you know. Yeah, yeah. Okay, fair enough on that one. That would make sense. But also that is fair enough on that one. That's no different than having Rod any other venue, you know. It just happens. Yeah, right. It is ESPN. Yeah. The end restaurant we're still open. You could have a raw take place out in front of that. That's the difference though, isn't it? Like if the branding is ESPN, okay. They're already linked with them. And I understand ESPN is a subsidiary. It doesn't. I get that. But having actual Disney branding and like an actual like Disney theme thing that's coordinating with WWE, I find that difficult to sort of this thing up because there's a couple of things. Was this the wrestle vote thing or Rebecca? Yeah, so this is so it's a ESPN wide world sports complex used W events. So this says here, a source speculated, this is all caps and embold.
That Adobe theme Disney cruise line experience could could happen speculation. Right, right. Right, right. This is one of the things that that could happen. And then another thing is that it would be talents might begin appearing on Disney plus programming. Okay. All right. What's airing on Disney plus right now? I mean, so they got like the Star Wars stuff. I don't know. I don't know what the fuck else is on Disney. I literally go on it all the time and I have no idea. Like X files reruns. Yeah. I started inserting them into X files. We'll see Disney plus taking a look right now. So we got Disney Pixar. We got all the majors here. Mandalorian. Countdown to Avengers. All right. So Cody goes on a countdown to Avengers podcast. Hey, Seth Rollins was in one of the Marvel movies. I know you got cut out. He got cut out. Yeah. Right. Backie right.
Backie was in post credit sequitur. Something right. I want to say probably that sounds familiar. Otherwise like on Disney plus, I just see a lot of like a. Yeah. A lot of it like outside of the Star Wars stuff. Maybe some of the more like original like series that like original series here. National G. Graphic. There's a lot of documentaries on there. Yeah. For sure. There's like a Lego version of Mandalorian now. Hey, that's neat. I don't know what that's all about. All right. We can speculate on that. I want to get this story because this is really top story. It's got us from Bucket Dipper. How about it? This is just says here. This is succinct Austin gun pooping himself at all out 2023. So he was on Shavandi show. What happened when. Talking about match. It was the guns and bang, bang gang teaming up against FTR and the young books at all out 2023. And this is what Austin gun had to say. Transcript from Fightful said I had stomach problems during this match.
I think I pooped my pants this match. It does happen, especially with those four jumping on top of you. I'm not kidding. I think I just throw away this gear. It's an awesome moment. Watch the only thing that's going to be clipped from this podcast that I pooped my pants. Yes. Correct. We did that. Not all the progress we've been doing. Not all the good things we do. Austin gun says he poops his pants. Yeah. I guess they are technically ass boys. He's writing it for us. I know. He's just I want to say to this guy. You just stop. Stop talking because you're a thousand percent right. We are going to talk exclusively about you shitting your pants at all out. So he said is the spot was superplex followed by a 450. Yeah. I probably shit myself too. Yeah. Hey, look, I don't blame the guy. I'm going to write this down because someday we're going to do the ten times wrestlers poop themselves during matches. Put that down. So we got Austin gun. Bowel out. That doesn't work. The punk. Yeah. They're actually pooping the ring.
Sits it. Yeah. Still cold pooped himself in the ring. God damn, I shit my pants. He told, he's told that story before. So there's four right there. Almost halfway the list. Well, there you go. Yeah. My favorite, this is it even my favorite Austin gun moment. It's when he did a Luthez press and knocked himself out. That's why my favorite. Nobody ever looked at what mentions that, but it's fucking great. It's great. It's a moment that looms large in the history of going in raw. I got to put that in the intro. You do a point because that was amazing. It's a knock himself out. Amazing. No, I like look, man. Hey, hey, you know what Austin? I like the Bang Bang gang. I'm not a collision cowboy anymore. I was for a while. Couple of weeks there. So I don't really watch a ton of Bang Bang gang, but I think you guys are very talented. Love Jay White. Love the guns. Aes Austin. Think he's tops. Yeah. And of course, juice. He doesn't love juice. Yeah. So I'm guns up on them. He's up.
Hey, you guys stomach problems. You got to go out there and perform. I say that's pretty balsy. Maybe you don't talk about it, but. Oh, why not talk about it? It's disgusting. Now when I think of my man, the other guy is shit himself. Yeah. Yeah, that's not good. Well, is that how you think of CM Punk too? I mean, he's done a lot more than Austin gun. I know, but they're literally sourced. Yeah, partially yes. Parts literally saw his fecal matter in the ring. Partially yes. I think as a guy that shit is, but he's done so much. Mainly I think I'm as like, you know, money in the bank 2011 guy. My mom and all that. Yeah, but also partially. Yeah, I should have helped him. We saw it. Yeah. And the ref just picked it up bare handed. Picked it up. No, he had gloves on. Still, he picked it up. Yeah, I'm just saying there's a big difference. We picking it up without gloves and picking up with gloves. No, I understand that same time though, it's like you pick up the poo. There's still poo on the mat, you know, that's because you pick up poo. I mean, there's molecules of poo still on that mat.
So we talked about this not that long ago, but dang MQ wanted us to talk about Cody announcing the passing of Pharaoh. This was incredibly sad and he's got so on Instagram, he posted a carousel of pictures. And one of them, I loved it was like a picture of Pharaoh having graduated, you know, training school and Cody back when Dash and Cody had the mustache. And Pharaoh just looks so proud. He's got the graduation hat on. It's really a lovely slide show. And then there's obviously pictures of Liberty with Pharaoh. And it's a pretty extensive right up here. But he basically mentions, you know, I'll mention the last part here because he starts off by saying Husky's needed job. And he talks about his life with Pharaoh and he says later on, he says, I said Husky's needed a job. And I don't think Pharaoh ever truly knew his. That is until Liberty was born. I scrolled back through my old pictures and there he is with her almost every early photo.
He's just peeking into frame or right beside her or sternly looking through the lens. His job was to be with her. Maybe he wanted to protect her. As I said, he needed a job. When you watch Game of Thrones one night, laid on TV and decide you want a little wolf pup, it would be fitting to say, your watch has ended. But I'd rather say the last thing I told you before you went to forever sleep, you did your job. We love you. Oof. Yeah. Oof. Yeah. You know, I've laid to rest two best friends. And it is difficult. And those last moments are precious. And I'm glad that he got to be there for Pharaoh's last moments and let him know that he did his job. I don't think I've ever cried as hard or as hard as longer as hard as I did when we had to say goodbye to Zoe. Yeah. That was tough. It is tough. It is tough. It is. So our hearts go out to the rest family. Yes. Yes. Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company.

Upgrades will plan that includes ESPN to access the full ESPN on Disney Plus experience in terms of supply. Um, so I guess we can talk about AEW now.
Yeah, man. So what was the heart edition of Dynamite? This was terrific, man. They had a whole ALS thing. Of course, Rebel, you know, formerly with a W found out that she was diagnosed or got diagnosed with ALS back in late 2024. Well, she said she started having symptoms late 25. Sorry, yes. It wasn't diagnosed till earlier this year. Yeah. Right, right. Thank you. And, you know, obviously this is a devastating disease that does not have a cure. The, I think, uh, lifespan post, uh, symptoms or onset is between two and five years. Um, it's really a horrible thing. And, you know, obviously everybody is aware of these ice challenges that people have done over the years to try and raise, you know, funds and awareness for this in hopes that one day it'll be defeated. And I thought AEW did a great job. You know, Rebel is still at the point where, um, she was able to participate in not just the opening segment where they brought that, uh, Brit Baker's, uh, Dennis office thing. The waiting room, yeah. The waiting room, thanks.
Uh, and, uh, and do a little comedic bit there where Brit still refers to her as Reba. Uh, and then she actually had a run-in of sorts when she came down and, and gave Brit her glove, something that she had left there in the earlier segment. And then, you know, Brit was able to win the match. It was a multi-person tag match. We won that and then hopped on the chair with, uh, Rebel and they went up and they were going to, it was, it was just absolutely terrific, terrific stuff for AW for Rebel for the cause. I, this was awesome. It was a great, great time. It was, it was, you know, and I mentioned it at the head of the show that moment at the top of the stage. Even Brit during her entrance was trying not to cry. You can tell. And then she gets the win, um, tapping out, uh, excuse me, uh, high end with the lock jaw after, after Rebel gives her the glove.
And so yeah, Brit sits on Rebel's lap and they start going up the ramp and Brit like Whisper's something to Rebel and Rebel turns around and she's just crying. Brit's crying. The crowd is chanting for Rebel. It's just, it's so emotional. I started crying. Yeah, it, it, it's a terrific way to use the platform of dynamite in this manner. And, and I hope they raised just a shit ton of money. Hope so too. Hope so too. Yeah. Yeah. This is great. Hope so too. Um, elsewhere on dynamite, uh, we found out that Will Osprey did in fact request this match with John Mox. Yeah. John why? Yeah. You know, last time we wrestled, it was for revenge, but this time I got a game plan. I'm, I'm gonna show I have what it takes to stomp out a death rider. Oh, that got it in boxeskin. Yeah, you don't like it. Yeah. Um, he said, uh, well, it sounds like you got it all figured out.
And that is the danger there because you don't want to walk in. It's one thing to be confident, Larson, but to walk in thinking you got everything figured out with this guy who's been doing it at the top of the, of the, of the food chain for so long and he says you can have the death riders down there with you. Yeah. No time. There's no 20 minute time. I got 60 minutes. That's dangerous business right there. That's dangerous business. I mean, obviously this is set up for Will to beat Mox, but what if it isn't? That'd be an interesting choice because we'll just won that top. What'd be an interesting choice. But imagine if you have like Tony cons like, hey, let's see if I can have my cake and eat it too because obviously, uh, there's a big beef there with a mox and osprey give him what happened like a year ago. And then he, you know, joined the death riders. It would not be super at a pocket for Will to also take that title off of John Moxley.
So I don't expect that to be the case, but it'd be kind of a ballsy creative decision to do that. Mox wins because Osprey thinks he's got him figured out, but no, he's got to figure him out again. And you have like what a fifth Mox title run. And then, and then Osprey gets it back. I wouldn't hate on that. I wouldn't hate on that. But, uh, but remains to be seen if they would do that. Yeah, I'd be pretty surprised they did that. Same. I would be surprised. Yeah. That seems to be the situation where, where Will is going to come to this match with the plan. He's going to be tactical, precise. Yeah. It'd be interesting to, though, to a degree to where maybe at first is competitive and then Will, it's like a Lezner scene of thing. With this time, uh, Osprey kind of playing the role of Brock Lesnar in that particular match, where he just manhandles scene for what 16 minutes. Mm-hmm. And it's like never seen John Cena wreck like that before.
And if Osprey managed to do something like that with, with Moxley, that could be interesting. Osprey said the Death Riders are all going to be there. He also said last week that he's looking at building his own United Empire, AEW branch. Could that come into play here with the Death Riders? Is he going to unveil? Could be. Not one piece at a time, but like, hey, guess what? This is my new faction here. We've got, I don't know, Motor City Machine Guns, Ilya. What do you point at your hand for Ilya? Alex Windsor, Jamie Hader, um, somebody else. Could be. Could be. Yeah, could be. Because it's kind of foolish to just go in there by yourself and get Death Riders there. Yeah. You know what? I'm tired of. Take a kid, ask them to make a choice. Go ahead, man. Gabe kid has to make a choice. Are you with the dogs? Are you with the Death Riders? Shoes, dammit. Why? Why?
He's new. It's new. Be new. Right? That's what we say around here. I feel like it's a situation where he realized the dogs aren't necessarily going to amount to anything in AEW. So I'm going to be Death Riders adjacent. Put him in the ops too. Put him in the horror. Yeah, sure. He's kind of awesome. I kind of love the guy. No, yeah, he's great, but make a choice, man. Shoes. I say, you know, dude, if they'll accept you, then join him. Why not? Maybe. I don't know how factions necessarily work if they get like a perdem or if they get a little bit extra, but if you get a little bit extra, if you're going to be in a faction, why not join as many as possible? I think he's a trailblazer. Well, then it just, where do your loyalty's really alive then? Look, I'll be honest with you, man. Come on. The dogs. Oh, I just feel like, yeah, you just sort of helping, you know, these guys need, they need a help. I don't blame him because, yes, the dogs. But then make a choice.
Yeah. If you realize the dogs are, then get your deathwriters patch. All in. Maybe he tried. Maybe he was like, oh, I'm a good dude, deathwriters because they're great. And you guys are garbage. You guys are rubbish. I don't say garbage. I hate rubbish. You all rubbish. Yeah. And then David Finley, he's like one little tear, one little tear coming down. And he's like, oh, yeah, Clark don't cry, mate. Don't cry, just joking. They're so right. So good. Having a laugh. Let's go get it, Pined. I'm just having a laugh. I'll stay with you guys. Shit. It seems to be like Gabe Kidd's character. He seems like not really be sentimental, at least. Yeah, not the most compassionate guy in the world. No. Also during this dynamite, AW, they announced they're going to have a tribute show for Andy Williams, the butcher on collision. And Scalberg gave a really nice, eulogy for Andy Williams.
And he was choking back tears. It was really well done. Yeah, that was really well done. You know, one thing you could always say about AW is that they at least give you the idea that they give a shit. Yeah. You know, they at least try to make you think, hey, we kind of give a shit. They'll actually care about the people behind these characters. We give a shit. And if any of them face any sort of adversity, that we will endeavor to help them. Even if they're not in the company anymore. Yeah. Like, hey, you know what, you got history with us. Come on over here and we'll do something. Yeah. You know, that's kind of nice. Yeah. That's nice to see sometimes. We had a real fun match between Andrade and the Beast Mortas, defending his national title, Andrade was, of course, Andrade got the win there. And then proclaimed himself the real Latino man. How are you? Well, he's doing this thing now where he's defending the national title every week. And before his match, there was a video package where I guess this must happen on collision
after he beat the aforementioned Gabe Kid where he says he's putting that, uh, that world title contract as back pocket, waiting to cash that in with the time it's right. So it seemingly he's taking his time with it, which is nice because, you know, half the time when someone wins. Like Casino Battle Royale or the gauntlet, like the next dynamite, their cash and their opportunity. I like that he's waiting and not doing it super quick. Mm-hmm. So then after the match, after Andrade gets the win, he's attacked by the dogs. Gabe Kid again picks up the mic, says, oh, we're always one step ahead of you. He punches Andrade, but will osprey's music hits. He rushes the ring to make the save and the dogs surround the ring. Deathrider's theme hits. So the dogs kind of leave. Gabe argues with Mox and then Marina takes his chair that he had and sits in it while Mox joins commentary for the next match, which is Will Osprey versus David Finley. And look at this. Will Osprey versus David Finley was a fun match.
Yeah. Well, we'll all sprays in it. You know, he can drag any sack of potatoes or a sack of rocks or a David Finley to a fun match. Yeah. Yeah, David Finley lost to the styles clash in this one. I ain't a hidden blade or a store breaker. It was a style. Which kind of makes the match even better? I know. I know. And so later on, we had the bit where the deathwriters are backstage and Mox is, or sorry, Paq is telling Mox, ah, Osprey can't be trusted. He was never one of us. He was never a deathwriter in Garcia's like, hey, I was kind of like Will. I kind of like Will. Paq says, you must have forgotten. And Gabe Kid walks in. It says a year ago, we broke Will's neck. And now we're showing him respect. Why? This is what Will steps in. It explains the match and all that. He's like, you guys are talking shit. I need to work with Mox. So get out of here. So we'll ask John to you surprise because I'm not, because I asked for it.
Because I owe you for the training and being honest in 2026. I've only ever been pinned by one man and that's you. So as far as I'm concerned, you're number one contender. But it's not going to be like dynasty number one. You can have deathwriters rings side two. I don't need to worry about 20 minutes. I got you for 60 and three. I ain't coming at you for revenge. I'm coming out with a game plan. I know what it takes to be a deathwriter. Good way to start my reign. A stomping in the skull of the ace. And that's for Mox. You got all figured out, huh? Yeah, it gets you out and I'll figure it out, huh? And Will just says, I'll see in Chicago. He will be using Mox throws a chair or something like that. It's pissed. All out is shaping up to be a really good show. Yeah, especially if this next segment we're going to talk about is the match. Yeah, man. Teclah versus Mercedes versus Willow. It's going to be a good one. So Teclah makes a wrench for a promo. She asked the crowd, where's all my dumb bitches at? So the CEO need to have a title to have a celebration party falls. Me wherever I go. And she contrasts herself with Mercedes.
You know, Mercedes lifelong wrestling fan, you know, winning titles and whatnot is, was her dream. Whereas Teclah, she says, I didn't grow up a fan girl. I was playing guitar at a punk band till one night, the basement of a bar. I saw a guy get beat up with a raw chicken carcass and I thought, shit, I can do that. And I did better than anyone ever could. So she's eventually interrupted by Mercedes. She says, I've dealt with Ego's my whole career. So if you think a five foot dumb blonde bitch who didn't grow up loving wrestling is going to scare me, then you must not know who the hell I am. Teclah says, well, we can agree on one thing. Willow is a worst champ and a W history. Willow just got lucky getting the title off me and then she fumbled away at Willow. Or sorry, at Wembley. This brings out Willow. And she comes with a ring technically used and is joined by Julia and Sky on the ramp. So it looks to be potentially the all out match. That would seem to be the case. Yeah, there should be a good one too. The show opened with swerve and the new level defending the trio's titles against conglomeration.
This was a lot of fun. It's always fun to watch WWE wrestlers come in a W and realize, God damn, these matches are really long and they're really involved. Look at me. Coffee and they're fast. I'm looking at coffee. But regardless, this is a lot of fun. I like the little bit of race trying to do the like sweep thing of orange Cassidy. Cassidy's just sort of like jumping out of the way of it. It was fun stuff. Yeah, then the event, new level and swerve get the win here. That brings out ricochet in the demand. They talk shit and they surround the ring because there's like five of them. And that brings out Hangman and Brodito. And they come out to even up the odds here. Get a little bit where Hangman and Brodito give the titles back to the current champions. And Hangman, Paige and swerve have a little face off and that sends swerve immediately out of the ring. He's like, I don't want any of this. So he leaves and Paige and him, you know, still stuck in that like, you know,
I were linked forever type situation. So that was fun. Later on Renee interviewed Paige and Brodito. I said, if you guys are, you guys still in the hunt for the trio's titles. And Brodito is like, well, I'll ask Hangman. He's like, you know, when you came back to a W looking for something to do and it wasn't the trio's titles, he's like, but you know, you're well known to be making your way around all the treos from time to time. Paige is like, yeah, but I needed it and I still need it. So if you're cool with it, I think we're still a treos. And then Brodito's like, Hey, Bandito, you're cool with it. And he's like, yeah, and then Hangman's like, let's go get some services. Yep. So made a van of the show was the young bucks taken on Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Night in a tables match. Before that though, we had a callous family interview. So you had Mark Davis and Josh Alexander face and Darby and Steven Borden and then this tables match made event. So first when they asked about Steven Borden, Alexander says Borden has something to prove. So do I. I've been out for six months. And he talks about Fletcher and Kevin Night winning their first match as a team on collision.
Fletcher says, yes, we've worked well. We worked well together. And then Knight says, well, what happens if we beat the young bucks, the greatest tag team of all time? Don's like, Oh, I can't wait to see what happens after that. O'Cotta walks up says to Kyle, I'm happy. Finally, see the value and family. So Kyle can do this. And he leaves with Knight while Don and Kyle is like, Oh, my dude, O'Cotta. So made event happen. The fun match. Kevin Night's the first one to go through a table. Matt Jackson is looking for a sunset flip power bomb out of the ring on the floor. Knight blocks it by grabbing on the middle rope, but Nick super kicks him through the table. And shortly after that, this is an nasty bump. Kyle backdrops Matt out of the ring through a table ring side. Yeah, it was rough. So the finishing sequence is kind of involved. So Kyle sets up a table in the ring. Nick slides under it, super kicks Fletcher leaps off the table to him with a destroyer. Then super kicks Kyle on the table climbs to the top rope. FTR comes to ringside to pull him down, but he fends him off with super kicks.
He goes back up top, stokely grabs his ankle, Fletcher gets off the table and puts Nick through that table with the brain buster. So we have Kevin Knight getting up, celebrating the win. Kyle selling in the corner while FTR is beaten up. Nick. So then Kevin Knight joins in the beat down. Matt gets in the ring. He eats a super kick from night in a shadow machine from FTR. Then FTR looks for a pile driver on Matt through a table ring side, but Darby and Steve and Boren sprint to the ring to make the save. And that's how the show ends before that main event though, we got Steve and Boren making his in ring dynamite debut. Dude, that leather jacket was badass. I'm just going to say I've not seen somebody wear leather jacket quite like this in a long time. This guy he looks like he should be on some sort of like USA network mid 90s show where he solves crimes at night exclusively at night wearing just a leather jacket and black jeans. No shirt. No shirt. Yeah. I would watch the shit out of that show.
Yeah. He had a promo, but he and Darby had a promo beforehand and I thought Stephen did a pretty good job. I thought he was okay. I thought he was good. Yeah. You know, I'm not expecting gang busters. You know, I think he needs to bring a little bit of that shouty energy that his dad did. But, uh, but I thought it was good. You know, he talked about, you know, I don't want to live the rest of my life wondering what if I got a run into what makes me uncomfortable. And then Darby was like, yeah, Stephen Borden. You're not second next thing your first Stephen Borden. And I'm like, now you need to be a first something else because Stephen Borden, well, Steve Borden's also Steve's name. Well, I know, but that's why they have Stephen Borden. Yeah, I know. I get it. You know, I mean, I'm sure Sting's name is actually Stephen Borden as well because Steve is short for Stephen. Yeah. I know that. Yeah. Um, but, uh, yeah, what I give this guy a name, Larsen. Come on. You can't, I don't think you can be blade runner because number one, there was also another blade runner, but also it's a popular franchise.
Yeah, that's the name of a J white finisher too. There's that as well. I forgot about that one. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know how to think about that one. But the idea that he didn't want to get the wrestling business because he wouldn't live in his dad's shadow. And then he literally is just exact, looks exactly like his dad. Like, I don't want to do this. He's a crazy good athlete. Oh my God. He is good. Gosh, he's a really good athlete. Yeah. So anyways, we have this match and, uh, surprisingly, I thought Steve Borden might be eating the pin here, face a little bit of adversity, but no way he and Darby get the win. They hit a scorpion death drop, coffin drop combo on Alexander. And then Darby takes out Mark Davis, the suicide dive is born and covers Alexander to get the win. Dude, if they're smart, they'll fucking push this guy. Yeah. I mean, he's 34. You got to start. You got to start kind of soon on that. Yeah. He needs reps. He needs a lot of reps. Because the in-ring work, there's a couple moments where it's a little clunky. And I thought the promo was fine, but yeah, he, I think he just needs reps.
This is that. So he said he's had since March of last year, he said 33 matches, which is not a hundred and 33 matches. But, you know, he's getting, he is getting on a semi regular basis. I mean, for a while, it was weekly. They have, he's had, let's see. So he's done some tag team stuff. Generally speaking, at least for this year, he has been undefeated. All of his dark matches, he beat Jay lethal on a, in a dark match on ring of honor. Um, let's see here. He worked against as an opponent and as a tag team with Kirin Gray.
But otherwise, um, yeah, he's either when he's, he beat Ortiz on collision in a dark match. Month ago. So it seems like, you know, hey, that says to me, they're looking to get this guy some wins, you know. I get what you're saying. I do, but you know, look at Goldberg. Oh, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, it's apples and oranges, man. I mean, even like when AW brings somebody in, who's maybe not like super high pro, I mean, even then, you know, like super, super high profile. Like, uh, most recent example, pie the rascals. Shriology, you know, varying levels of success in NXT and TNA, brought them in. And it's not like they instantly pushed them to tag title or trio's contention per se. You know, they're just, they're a team amongst in the division that get a couple wins, but lose plenty of matches too. And, but they're, they're an act that has established brand and a fan base.
So it's kind of surprising they're, they're not treated as more of the upper echelon at the tag division or the trio's division per se. Um, but you compare that to in this case, Steven Bord, someone who's obviously in the process is still developing as a pro wrestler. And I wonder, I kind of, and again, this is sort of apples and oranges, but when you look at, when you try to look at, okay, well, who does, who does Tony Conn like? When I look at somebody like hologram, a Tony con creation, you know, it took Erimus and he repackaged him as hologram. hologram has not lost a match. No. And I wonder if Tony is like, man, this guy is athletic as fuck. He's got the look. He's got the legacy. I wonder if this is going to be like his version of like a Randy Orton. Randy did not lose a lot of matches early on. Um, or ever. And I wonder if that's the difference. Maybe Tony Conn is like, hey, I have such reverence for sting. We'd literally
like, he gave us our best pay-per-view buy, like, you know, or one of our best pay-per-view buys ever. And I think this kid can be huge. So I'm not going to have him do the normal thing where, hey, you're going to take some losses. We're going to make his losses a big deal. We're going to roll him out very carefully. I could see that being in the case here. Yeah, it could be. It could be. You want to answer some questions? Would you like to look at the tell you? Let's go ahead. I'm going to answer some questions. Uh, time where here says I've been trained to be a wrestler since October last year. In this past sunday, my first match entered number nine, the Royal Rumble Type Match lasted over three minutes before being eliminated. Got no eliminations. I wore Sonic, the hedgehog themed gear. If you had wrestling gear that was themed off of a video game character, who would it be? You and I, Contra. Okay. Which is basically just a rip of like, they was like, supposed wrestle vestors to loan it. Yeah. That's the face of the salon in Schwarzenegger, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What about the two robots from Portal 2? Oh, that's good. I like that. That's good.
The what the co-op? I would be the adventures of Bayou Billy. Okay. If that's a solo. Yeah, it has a solo. I would be a hockey player with broken leg from NHL 95. There you go. Let's be Tetris. There we go. Perfect. I'll be L-shaped. I'll be this. I'll just be the, I'll be like the, was it like the, the, the weird, that pretty interesting kind of, yeah. Kind of like a Z, I guess. I don't know. Dylan here says, this is a heavy question. Please understand if neither of you feel comfortable talking about it. But as Friday is a 25th anniversary of 9-11, oh boy. Can you guys tell us your memories of the day and where you both were in life at the time? Did you sleep through that shit? No, I was getting up for work. So I was getting ready for work for the day. I worked at a, a small little production house in, in Burbank at the time. And when my roommates came in and
said there was a plane that flew into the World Trade Center. And I was also, I came over before after he said that. I think about it after because I went on at the time, Yahoo, which was, you know, the place you went for stuff. And they had a new headline that just says plane flew in the World Trade Center. In my mind, I'm thinking, oh, it's just like a, you know, like a single biplane. Yeah. It was just somebody who did an accident. And, but he's like, no, you got to turn the TV on. And so I did. And then, uh, watched some of what was unfolding there went to work, set up a TV there, watch, but I don't remember if that was at home still when the second plane hit or not. I don't know if that was in the office. I think it was at home. I was at, you know, the house still. Um, but one thing I remember is where this office was was pretty close to like Warner Brothers and stuff. And there was concerns that there might be further attacks and like maybe LA or the studios were targeting about whether they were going to send everybody home or not. Um, they didn't. Um, but yeah, that's one,
this was one of those days, remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I first heard the news. Yeah, I was working at the bank at the call center. And I got off work at 545 in the morning, a Pacific time. The plane, the first one hit at 546. So I was like, you know, I got my stuff talking to people and then I go into the break room and I look at a little television up there and people are gathered around. I'm like, Oh, shit. Mm-hmm. You know, but and it's like, it looks absolutely insane. Mm-hmm. And I was like, all right, well, you know, that's that's that's tragic and everything. What a horrible accident. How did that happen? And then I'm put, so like 15 minutes later is when the other one hit. And I, I, I'm pretty sure I was on my way home when that hit or I was going to, I think I went to breakfast with like a friend who got off run the same time. And I think that hit on my way there. And then so we just ate breakfast as a diner kind of like
shocked a bit. And I got home and I, because I was working the graveyard shift, I got home, went to bed and I sort of half woke up as the towers were falling and I was like, Oh my god. So yeah, no, you know, that's one of those things where you can't forget where you're at at the time. I had a time I was talking to Bama about that the other day because she has a party, a lot of party, school dance Friday. And you know, it's like a, it's like a globe theme, you know, dealing with supposed to wear black light stuff. And, but she calls it the 9-11 party. And she was like, Hey, you know, that it took a late night trip to Winco. She was like, so was 9-11 like a big deal. I'm like, bro, she's like, but there's been other like attacks and I'm like, I don't like this one. I said, everything changed afterwards. Everything changed. You know, with airports, you know, just like the way we spend our money as a government. Yeah. People are being super, mental policies. Yeah. People being super racist against like, you know,
Muslims and whatnot or anybody from the Middle East. Yeah. I'm like, it was rough, man. It was rough. It was rough. And we're still still dealing with them now. Yeah. Like, go pick up some donuts over there. Got a question here from Oba Fem be 18. What is the worst movie take you have ever heard? Oba Fem be 18 says my best friend says seven is a bad movie because of the unhappy ending. I love it. I love that. It's a traumatic ending for sure. I don't know. I see them on threads like all the time. It's I there's like a whole industry now. I feel like cinematic rage bait. Yeah. And I'm it's like some of it's like very sp is like, you know, I come across like Star Trek cinematic rage bait. I'm like, what the fuck? Um, put off the top of my head. I don't know if I can. I don't know if I can think of any of the top of my head. Yeah. I don't know if I can think of any either. Uh, Joe says if there was an inner invetational tournament named after a wrestler,
where all the participants had to wrestle that wrestler style. Who are you picking? I would I would go with like a ricochet tournament, but it would be all horses. Yeah. I was going to say somebody with a high flying moveset and none of the participants are high flyers. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm good. Yeah. I can't be bothered. How about this? A new Jack tournament, but you get nothing but like ground-based wrestlers. Oh my gosh. They all have to wrestle like in the most mature and yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They all have to wrestle the most extreme styles. Uh, Luis here says what do Ann Larson and it's and it's Steve. I want to see the Kings do to turn the ship. Also, Larson, how do you feel about the Angels being sold? The Angels being sold is good if you're a Mike Trout or a Mike Trout fan. Maybe they may be able to win around him before he retires. Hmm. What do the Kings need to do? Gosh. Not signed Ben Simmons. Oh wait. We already did that. At least it's a non-guaranteed deal at least. Yeah. Um,
you know, I imagine he's going to be he's becoming off the bench. So we'll see. Gosh. It's it's the roster construction isn't good. Sell the tube. Yeah. It all starts with the owner. Our owner is shit. Yeah. And it's sad because it's not even like he's a cheap shit. He's just shit. Yeah. It's not like the guys that will him to spend money before. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's just terrible at like, you know, hiring good people in the front office and letting them do their job. Yeah. I think the latter part is probably the major thing. So I think what Monti McNair is the GM and the Kings now. And I think his track record the past is decent. Yeah. Yeah. Obviously, hiring Vlade to be the GM initially was a terrible idea. It was awful. Awful. Like and then, you know, they brought in Mike Bologna, great coach. Yeah. Turn the team around and just because Vavec didn't allegedly didn't like the style of play. He wanted more of an uptempo warrior style. They let him go. Yes. Horrible. And it went downhill
from there pretty quick. And yeah, when Mike Brown, they brought him in. He turned things around for a bit. And the moment things got rocky with him, they let him go. So it just, it doesn't seem to be a whole lot of patience from ownership in terms of actually taking the steps necessary to build a competitive team and a continually competitive team. You know, and you have to go through some rough seasons to get there. Yeah. You do. And you have to look at like, okay, see as the way to do it, if you're not a major market team. You gather up a bunch of draft picks, you draft well, you develop players really well. Yeah, we've never been able to do either of those things. I know, I know. And that goes to scouting. That goes to scouting and player development, you know, and Sam Presti and the Thunder, they are the best at those two facets of building a basketball team. And but that's the model, I think, as a team that's in a smaller market, you have to emulate.
Yeah. And it takes patience. It just does. And Vavec doesn't have patience. This is something that a couple of these were held comments in our new stories. And two people asked us to talk about the whole Bronson putting his foot on Oba Femi and Oba Femi potentially having heat by shoving Bronson Reed's foot off him. Well, I think I think I wrestled votes on five votes on about that today. Now did they? So like for while Arson pulls that up, the closing image of the Oba Femi vision segment on raw conclude with Bronson Reed putting his foot on Oba Femi who was laid out. And you and I talked about this on our raw review briefly. Oba shoves his foot off him. And it seemed like Oba was supposed to be laid out. So like, why is he doing that? And Bronson didn't like put his foot back on him or like, you know, reciprocate if this was
supposed to be part of the plan. And so, but what does wrestled votes have to say? Pretty much the primary thing here to pull from this is that it wasn't a written part of the segment. Bronson putting his foot on Oba. And apparently some people backstage didn't seem to like it. And I've read somewhere over the last few days that Bronson taking Roman shoes at first was just a thing he did in spur of the moment. And it caught on. So I wonder if that's kind of Bronson's mentality is all right in the moment. If I had an idea, I'm going to run with it. And if it gets me heat, all right, I'll deal with it. But at the same time, if it's an opportunity to maybe stand out, do something a little different, he seems to be willing to roll the dice on that in hopes that if he does something, it can help get his character over or enhance the story or something. Yeah, dude. You know, I don't know what goes on backstage, obviously. But when I saw when I saw it, I was like, oh, I would not have even noticed the foot on Oba had
Oba not shoved it away. And I thought the shove in my opinion creatively was a not consistent with what I was supposed to be seeing. And I thought that Bronson putting his foot on Oba made sense because they just beat this guy down. They have him down. It's not unusual for somebody to do that. Brock did it. I'm sorry, Oba did it to Brock. Yeah. Because Brock said, hey, put your foot on me. So yeah, this is one of those situations where I don't know exactly what happened if there was a miscommunication here. But I don't think Bronson read was out of pocket for putting his foot on him because it made sense in the character in the moment. Yeah. And especially as a callback to the Brock Oba moment, yeah. In terms of, you know, a little bit of storytelling. Oh, okay. It made sense in that regard, you know. But again, if it's a situation where something's discussed, something's planned, and then something unplanned happened, sometimes people's first responses.
No, this isn't supposed to happen. You know, yeah. But you know, you can also interpret Oba shoving Bronson's foot off. It's still even though he just got beat up as an act of defiance. And I, it works that way too. And if that was going to happen, that's great. And I understand that. I feel like there should have been one last Bronson read, Gozensanam. And you know, we have you right now. So yeah, I thought that was all weird. Yeah, it was a little bit of awkward moment. You want to blind power rake. This one is a good one. This is right up your alley too. Great. It's from Diet Hard Home, where he's not trying to mess with you here. He is. Well, not intentionally. Diet Home, where it says, I've had this idea of floating around my brain for a while now. Ranked these seven jackass bits based on your willingness to do them. Oh, Jesus. With one being definitely in a course seven being no way in hell. All right, let's do it. Let's go. All right. First one.
I think Ryan Dunn did this one is the toy car in the, in the butt. And they're going to get x-rayed. Uh, medic, you know, I'm not, I'm not opposed to that necessarily. Medically, that's kind of terrifying. Like, what if something goes wrong? You know, like, I want to make sure that I'm getting out of this being able to shit correctly. I'm going to go low on that. I don't want to do that. Number six. Okay. Next here, poop it in a display toilet in a store. So that's obviously humiliating. And it's, it just sets you up. Oh boy, that's one of those things where I just don't have, I don't have the stones to do something like that. But medically speaking, you're okay. So pooping number four. Okay. You're going to have some tough decisions to make. I'll tell you that. Yeah. That's here. Getting hit by a bowl. It's got to be seven. I could, yeah, I could die. You could
jumping into a sewage treatment take. All these, all these except for maybe one, all these, well, even one of the one that's up in the air. Potential health issues at play. I mean, dude, I feel like I got to put this one high because a look, I understand that it's not the healthiest thing in the world to jump into a sewage treatment plant. But like, it's not like you're not doing something that's like, oh, it's like so cringy and embarrassing. It's just really gross. And if like, health wise, like, I'm fine, I'm not going to rip my asshole. I'll put that at number two, not my favorite thing in the world, but yeah. Better than the others. I know this moment messed up giant Knoxville was boxing butter bean. He got concussed. He did. He did. I would, you know, it's number one. It's a challenge. It's a
physical challenge. It's got to keep your hands up. Just keep your hands up, man. I'm going to put boxing butter bean in number one. I feel like he could punch through your hands. All right. Next Poo cocktail supreme is launched into Port-a-Potty by Bungie Courts. Number number five, that's fucked up. It's nasty. That's fucked up. Port-a-Potty. Number five. Yeah, I've left. Number three. All right. Last one here. Shot by Riot Control Weaponry. I mean, that is like dangerous as hell. You could like, perforate your, you know, puncture your whatever. But yeah, I got enough. I think I got enough padding there still in my belly to take one of those. I put that at number three. I think that's right. Yeah, I think I did this list right. I think I did this list. That's that. That would actually probably be my list. Yeah. All right. You got a you have a blind powder right here. And it is.
Oh, no, let me get through it. Post. Here it is. We are going to, from Ronan the analyst, power rank versions of Arnold Schwarzenegger. You want spotting for you in the gym. Oh, wow. Wow. All right. How many? Eight. Eight. All right. And you got to keep in mind, like, if there are characters, they're in character. Yeah, the character. All right. The first one isn't a character, though. It's Republican politician, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Hello. I want a good deal for California. Say no to this. See, I feel I feel like he would he would use some slogans to try to motivate me. But then when I let him down, he write me a letter and like the first letter in each line is capitalized and fuck you. Yeah. I fuck you. That's one of the end. You'd be demoralizing. Yeah. Come on. What's the matter with you? I'm going to say six. No deal. Wow. That's low. Okay.
All right. Could your ego that he'd be talking GOP talking points whole time trying to work out and that you're taking the fuck out of me. Yeah, I know, but he's he's so left of that now. I know. Back then, back, the Republicans back then are not Republicans now. I know. You know, they'd be like, Hey, let me talk to you about trickle down economics. You're like, it doesn't work, dude. Yeah, but you want to reserve the shut the fuck up for like talking points now, you know, like, you know, he's not anti-vaxx or anything. Anyways, number two. I don't know if you're ego could handle this one, dude. Pumping iron Arnold. No. Look at you. Look at what you're doing. Look at this as much as you could lift. That's pathetic. Look at you. You're not going to go out to eight. Oh, that's eight. Eight. Well, why are you even bother coming in here? I know. Why are you doing in here? Look at you. You're so small, competitors. Like you're in really good shape. It would be a fork of the road. Either I would quit going to the gym or I'd start I'd get on the gas. You
know, that was no two options. That yeah, you know, look at you. Those are good. There are options. I'm willing to consider. So eight. All right. This one's scary, dude. Do you want the original terminator? Like you die. You die. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. This is how I use like a shooter. Huh? If every morning I woke up and terminator Arnold is in front of my house and the only refuge I had was the gym and that was how he'd motivate me. That's pretty good motivation. He's a killer. I know. Go to the gym. Are you terminated? You're terminated. I will be back. That being said, I need I need rest days to recover. Rest. Otherwise, my nervous system gets too wrecked working out. Play. Hey, John. Number five. Five. All right. This next one, this has got to be your number one. Stressed out that at Christmas from Jingle of the way. Hey, I got to find this toy.
Hurry up and lift your weights. I have to find this toy. Exactly. That'd be the thing. It'd be a distraction. Yeah, he'd be really stressing you out. He'd be like, come on. Hurry up, finish up your lift. I'm like, I'm going to go to the pace. I go shut up. I got to get to the store. Four. All right. Next up, you are here. The chili sound of my doom. Mr. Freeze from Batman and Robin. Have I told you about my wife and what happened to her? I was doing experiments and she froze to death. Something like that. I mean, so long as he doesn't freeze me. I don't see the problem with I freeze. I will freeze you. Mr. Freeze. I could do it. Two. He'll touch the like. He'll spot you and then it'll like, yeah, and you'll get frozen there. That's number two. I'll have the you'll get frozen to death. I'll be benching and yeah, my hands get frozen to the bar. That's horrible. I'd rather hear GOP talking points from 2001. All right. Here we go. Kind of cotton cop out of depth. Kind of got in teach at the end of
your first day. Oh, these kids. They're so terrible. Lift harder. That might be the thing though, because one of the reasons I like working out, I can take my mind off things. I can focus on just working out. Yeah. In that sense, I love it. I love doing it for that reason. If nothing else, he's still on the case though. He's still on the case and he's spotting you. He's like, come on, hurry up. I got to go catch this killer. I've never seen kindergarten cop. Really? Yeah. Sir, I'm sure it's great. It's a great thing. Three. Three. Three. All right. Next up, pregnant Arnold from junior. I got a baby in me. I got a bun in the oven. I'm so grumpy about it. I got so many farts. I want pickles. Why you? This Arnold spotting me, right? One with the gym. Yeah, you have his big belly right there. I have to be careful how much I lift because I got a baby in there. Yeah. That's the thing is doing something heavy, like some squats or something.
He's going to be so far too. And he's trying to spot me. That's it. Yeah. I didn't seem like good idea. So I'll do seven. What's number one? That's so much gas. This one. So you have one number one left. Number one's left. Sit. This might be the worst one and it's Dutch from Predator while he smokes a cigar. I feel like Dutch from Predator might be more out of pocket than pumping iron Arnold. Look at you. What's a matter? You're going in right podcast. Got you pushing too many pencils? I'm not pumping iron. Arnold that he goes for the throat. He does. Yeah. Yeah. And I tell you about that time I was in the forest. So like it is, it's a thing where if I know in the situation, it is weird to think this way, but I'm in the situation. This character, the Arnold plays a spotty me and like, oh, this is just Dutch from from Pirate from Predator. No huge. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Arnold. Arnold. Actually, Arnold. Talking shit to me. Like he wants to do and pump an iron. Yeah. No. Yeah. All right. Well, there you go. There you have it.
