Pyramid roofing company text line 447 KSGF. I want a great home loan dot com whatever you need
If it's a great one
You got the characters in their team Alex joined us Alex character that is on Friday and I noted it that because of the
Polish nature of the site it's easy to think that it is some sort of
You know national company that might have a couple local branches or
Or not even that, but if you go to the site you'll notice
That at the top you have Alex character in his cell phone number Anthony character his cell phone number and Alex noted
Yeah, that's their cell numbers on the weekends. You can call any you know call them that this is not
Like a Monday through Friday 9 to 5 if it's Saturday and you come across a house that you're like oh my gosh that house is up
They're they're putting it on the market and we've always been interested in it
We've just been waiting for the right moment and now's the time you can call
Two o'clock on a Saturday and obviously if one of the two of them is on the line with someone else or sitting in church or something
You can leave them a voicemail and they'll get back with you immediately, but that's what you're getting you getting that level of service
And then the site itself of course has a lot of relevant information that can be helpful to you
But that is where the process will start. I've told the story before, but whenever I first

News leader has a story springfield council to refer fixes to board appointments to committees. I this is also
Hilariously typical Springfield
In which because of a citizen blowing a whistle the city of Springfield not abiding by the rules
gets caught and
Then decides to change the rules to fit
To fit what they were doing against the rules. This isn't the first time that this has been done
Now this has to do with the citizens advisory board
and there are very specific
Rules regarding, you know, the number of people the sorts of people when it comes to this advisory board and
a citizen noticed that the city was completely ignoring the the rules and and
so
The city's like oh, oh, it's an oversight oversight once again. Well, it's an oversight
And so what they're going to do or attempt to do is change the rules to fit what they were doing
News leader writes in response to a series of controversies regarding Springfield city boards and commissions the past few weeks
Springfield city council will vote on sending several related issues to committee at its Monday March 9th meeting
From sales tax boards to planning and zoning. Here's what council will take on Monday night citizens advisory board appointments
In response to a letter sent to council highlighting ways the establishment and subsequent appointments to the citizens advisory board
Violated the city charter
City attorney Jordan Paul acknowledge the conflict
Which he described as an oversight
Oh, yeah
They're really on top of things there aren't they do you notice how increasingly people on the left whenever they get caught
Violating rules that they set up that they always just blame it on incompetence. We just didn't know any better
Was an oversight
Do you think the you particularly you business owners and Springfield get to use that same excuse making if you violate rules
And you get caught tell them hey, it was an oversight. It's all good, right?
I don't have to pay any fines
I don't have to pay any penalties right as long as it was an oversight. Oh
Oh the rules don't work that way. Okay
These people are so arrogant
So the city attorney acknowledge that yeah, okay
Described it as an oversight and presented a resolution that would fix the original mistake at a March 2nd council workshop
Cab CAB which is the citizens advisory board overseas and provides
Council recommendations for how the
Half-a-cent portion of the three-quarter cent Springfield forward SGF sales tax approved by voters in November should be used
Violations of the charter which acts as the city's constitution include
Allowing non-city residents to serve on the board
Allowing the board to operate with fewer members than the charter requires
And changing how officers are selected
Mayor Shrag plans to refer a resolution adjusting
The cab to the plans and policies committee for review in his referral
He's suggesting two adjustments to what was originally proposed by the attorney one of those is changing the number of out of town
Residents who would be allowed to serve on the board in a non-voting capacity from three or from two to three
In the referral Shrag notes
This is due to one of the existing members moving outside of city limits and a desire to preserve the continuity of service
So in other words, they don't want to abide by the rules because they become inconvenient
I love how they make it just seem so I again, I would love for these rules to apply to all of us
You're a business owner and then there's some city rules some city statute
That is just inconvenient for you
Like oh well, no, we're just ignoring that or oh you should change that rule because I don't want to abide by it
Well, my circumstances change so now it doesn't a now I'm now I'm conflicting with the rules to just change the rules
See this is how elitism works
Rules for the not for me and if anyone pitches a fit about it will just change the rules so that they fit to me
Shrag also argues having three non-voting members would allow terms to be evenly staggered
Since there would be nine voting members as well the city's chief spokesperson course got confirmed to the newsletter that Shrag was referring to board member anti-peoples
In addition to the two members Aaron
Donna Stasio and Christina Angle who already lived outside of the city at the time of the appointment
And his presentation to council Paul said that as an option out of town members would could be allowed to serve without counting
Uh
Or without voting rather counting towards a quorum of being eligible for an officer position with most council members
Uh
While most council members said input from non-residents was valuable for the recommending body councilwoman Monica Horton said at the March 2nd workshop
This felt like towing the line of what the chamber requires she suggested that due to previous mistakes the cab should only include city residents
Shrag is also proposing to add specific language to the new resolution as councilman Brandon Jensen had also suggested to ensure three vacancies created by fixing charter violations
Are filled by the committee of the whole as was the case when the original board was put together
And so forth and so forth and so you know again
This isn't an uncommon tactic this same sort of
Situation as a risen in the past and it had to do with um
Jan Fisk
And the fact that the city charter
No
Did that no one who was a member of the council could vote on anything
That might in any way shape or form have any sort of financial connection to them
And if they do they shall be removed and it turned out and it was once again a citizen that blew the whistle on this
I think the same citizen
That she was continually voting on these very issues
And so the charter stated shall be removed. Well, of course they didn't remove her
So instead what did they do they embarked on an effort to change the rules so that retro actively what she did would be allowed
I mean it is typical eliteism rules for the not for me
And
And when again we get called out on it up. It was an oversight simple oversight
We'll change the rules so that what we're doing somehow now is legit
City of Springfield
Good morning from the Ozarks first digital desk. I'm Karissa Codell early Sunday morning fire crews in Boliver work to put out the flames of a local repair shop
The Poe County fire district tells Ozarks first that crews responded to barren sun automotive repair close to 4 a.m. on Sunday
It was reported after the owner who lives near his shop found it engulfed in flames
Thankfully, there were no injuries reported the cause of the fire remains under investigation
Turning now to your forecast today. It's really feeling like spring
It's warm getting up to the 80s and keeping with that spring theme
We do have some rain and thunderstorms coming on Tuesday
So keep that umbrella handy this week from the Ozarks first digital desk in Springfield
I'm Karissa Codell and the first alert forecast from Ozarks first meteorologist Tom Schmidt sponsored by St. Clair of the Ozarks home improvements
Today, we'll see sunny skies with a high near 78 tonight partly cloudy with a low around 61
Four-year Tuesday a slight chance for scattered showers in the afternoon
Otherwise, mostly cloudy with a high near 81 and for Wednesday showers and possibly a thunderstorm with a high near 65
Serve buyers every wall. Hey, thanks the pyramid roofing company
The storms that rolled through on Friday and Saturday they were pretty gnarly

There's another city related item that popped up
Last week, but it's ongoing that caught my eye and it has to do with the city's efforts to
Try and get these people of springfield to reverse their previous vote on increasing taxes on
lodging for the purposes of the convention center and
When I first read this particular article, it just seemed weird and I guess the best
Way to describe it. It just seems as if the city has been very condescending perhaps
So it had that headline and this is from last week maybe even the week prior
Final convention center workshop ask spreek fieldians to be creative
At the final convention center workshop thursday february 26th
Attendees were invited to play
By putting together building blocks
Diving up a fake budget and picking their top concepts and programs that a proposed convention and event center might host
Thursday's event was the third in a series of public input events hosted by the city in the architects of populace
It cans a city based global architecture firm best known for its work on the loss of agosphere
And apparently that is their actual full name because I've never once seen in a story covering this whole situation
Populous mentioned without them noting that they are best known for their work on the loss vegas fear
Like every single time they want to make sure they want to make sure that you know
You know that really awesome loss vegas fear yet it's the same people
Reminds me of that episode of side and fell where George Costanza thinks he buys a car owned by john void
And he bought it because he thought it was and like is that really why you bought a car because you think john void
Owned at one point and you know that it has that feel about it as if the people are supposed to be so excited over the fact
That this architectural organization business firm also had some a hand whatever it is
I don't know in the loss vegas fear that that's supposed to kind of win us over get us excited over it
I don't know about you. Don't have any relevant for as I'm concerned. Of course. I'm not a resident of springfield so
The goal of the event has been to educate and gather feedback about what spring fieldians want to see in a new convention and event center
Not to rehash some of these same arguments, but
If that isn't already known should we really be voting on whether or not to build such a thing
If we're still at the stage of trying to figure out what we would even use it for
This is a vote that is coming up pretty quickly
And we're still getting feedback from people as to what we'd even do with one
The pre-design work an additional public engagement came ahead of the April or comes ahead of the April 7th election
When the city for a second time will ask voters whether to increase the lodging tax paid for by those booking hotel rooms and short term rentals
In springfield by 3% to fund the new convention and event center the increase would have a 35-year sunset
The same measure failed in November albeit without the sunset provision early voting on the springfield issue and other matters in green county is already underway
At the Thursday event again, this is back at the end of February at the Thursday event at the Discovery Center
Attendees were invited to use building blocks to map out different spaces in a new building and recognize the scale of the project
Some blocks represented the required square footage of space identified in the latest consultant report while others were there to add extra amenities
And allow participants more flexibility in creating their own space using construction paper and molding clay
Colleen Cassidy associate principal at populace is the design manager for the project
She said the activities are a way to not only engage folks in gathering input to incorporate into the design process
But also to help residents connect with the project still in the conceptual phrase
Cassidy saying it brings a realism to what this is and what it could be for the community
Instead of just feeling like oh, I'm checking a box. It's like well
What you're checking is actually a whole potential for a future and what that could look like
The building block activity was not necessarily tied to the current property consideration for the
This whole thing is so stupid. So the building block activity. There's a whole little activity which
Quite honestly does this not sound like a kindergarten level does it seems so condescending
All right, everyone get out your building blocks and construction paper and clay mold and if you got to make a fourth an imaginary castle
Or a fort or just whatever it is you could possibly imagine put it all together
And then remember that whenever you come to vote on April 7th
The newsletter writes the building block activity was not necessarily tied to the current property considered
For the convention center and already in the city's hands at the current Springfield depositions or exposition center
And the lot next to it visitors were also invited to dream bigger and consider properties next door and across the street
The city is still involved in property acquisition discussions for nearby lots
So in other words as best I can tell the fun little kindergarten camp project that they had people do at the discovery center
Has absolutely no actual connection whatsoever to what is going to be done with the convention center
According to their own what now this isn't actually understand tie do anything whatsoever
Realistically about what we're going to do
It's just so you can have lots of fun with building blocks and construction paper in time to get you excited to go vote
Yes on April 7th is can it be any more condescending
If
If this works
If this tactic in which they apparently have decided I would have loved to have been in that meeting like all right
Here's what we have to do we have apparently underestimated how stupid the people of Springfield are
We have apparently overestimated their intelligence
So we need to pretend as if they are anywhere from K through maybe third grade
Fourth if they're a little bit slow and maybe we can win them over that way
If if this works god help the city of Springfield coming up
The memorial for Jesse Jackson was once again a demonstration that there is no human being
That is of any value whatsoever to the Democrat party unless that human being can be used for their own political purposes
And despite the fact that Jesse Jackson Jr
publicly
Ahead of time told people do not turn this into a political event no talk of politics
It did not stop Democrat after Democrat including Joe Biden and Barack Obama from getting up there and turning it into a campaign rally
That then subsequent Jesse Jackson Jr. went back to the microphone to rip on him for doing so now
Wasn't at the event itself that he did it was a post event and pre-event and with these people have no shame
They are vile
disgusting human beings
And even after the son of the dead Jesse Jackson implored them to not turn it into a political rally
They spit his face and they did it anyway because this is the Democrat party of 2026
Springfield's talk
101 the first alert forecast from Ozark's first meteorologist Tom Schmidt sponsored by JNS Automotive
Today we'll see sunny skies with a high near 78
Tonight partly cloudy with a low around 61
Four-year Tuesday a slight chance for scattered showers in the afternoon
Otherwise mostly cloudy with a high near 81 and for Wednesday showers and possibly a thunderstorm with a high near 65
Pyramid roofing company text line may be the city of Springfield show incorporate the hotel of terror into the convention center
Year-long draw for tourists kill two birds with one vote
They would never do anything
Regarding the hotel of terror that did not demonstrate
The punishing approach they will take to any small business owner in Springfield who opposes them
Yeah, I mean that it's a great idea
I mean somewhat tongue-in-cheek of course, but now that the to them the hotel of terror represents
The the problematic citizen of Springfield who owns a business and
The fact that a business owner thinks that Springfield belongs to them belongs to the citizens
And it is an opportunity for them to it's at this point. I just really firmly believe it isn't
I mean it is about the hotel of terror, but it's about more than that. It is about
sending a message to any other business owner in Springfield. We will drain you
I mean you think you can beat us we can drag this thing out forever and a day
And that appears to be what is going on at this point because
Now they're going to decide coming up the city the signatures were gathered by citizens to to push back once again
In the past this happened and the council rescinded their own order to go ahead and move forward with
Eminent domain
I highly doubt that they're going to do that again and they clearly recognize
That there hasn't been a shift in opinion on this if anything
I think the citizens are even more aware of
The anti small business attitude that the city has and I think that there will be an even greater turnout
Against the city on this one in this next vote and I think they know it
But this is about destroying
The the the the small business owner because they have your tax dollars to use
They have they have all of the tax dollars that are spent in Springfield to drag this out as long as as they want to
And they know that as a small business owner
Hotel of terror do not have those resources
And so if
Getting their way is driving him into the ground to where financially he is completely destroyed and coat can no longer
continue to offer up
Hotel of terror as as a family entertainment venue for the people of Springfield
Then that's what they'll do and the bonus for them is it's a message to any of you other business owners who ever want to question them
And if they ever come after you if they ever decide to
Find you or do anything that you feel legally they don't have the right to do
They want you to know what'll happen to you if you challenge them even if you're right
All right, fine
Prove yourself right you'll be destroyed in the process
That is what the hotel of terror is for them today
Let's talk about the Jesse Jackson memorial service
This was a
Memorial that took place over the weekend
Believe it was over the weekend unless it was Friday seems like this would be a Saturday event nonetheless
Prior to the event
most likely because of
past behavior
The family of Jesse Jackson knew what was going to probably come and that is Democrats
Use the death not to actually memorialize the person not to focus on the person
Not to make it about Jesse Jackson, but instead to make it about their grab on power
And to use it in order to trash on Republicans to trash on Americans that don't side with them to of course trash on Donald Trump
so in order
To prevent that from occurring Jesse Jackson Jr. prior to
The memorial took to the microphones with this simple request
Your palliative
Out of respect to Reverend Jesse Jackson
And the life that he lived
To these home going services
Come respectful and come to say thank you
But these home going services are welcome to all
Democrat
Republican
liberal
and conservative
right wing
left wing
Because his life is broad enough to cover the full spectrum of what it means to be an American
We only ask people to come and be respectful in the context of the extraordinary life that he lived
And so this is how the classy Democrats just very small snippets from Joe Biden to Barack Obama to Kamala Harris
Respected the wishes of the Jesse Jackson family
Like now
We're in a tough spot folks
Got administration
It doesn't share any of the values that we have
I don't think I'm exaggerating a little bit
Each day we wake up to some new assault on our democratic institutions
Another
Setback to the idea of the rule of law
An offense to common decency every day you wake up to
To things you just didn't think
We're possible
Each day we're told by those in high office to fear each other and to turn on each other
And that some Americans count more than others
And that some don't even count it off
You know
So let me just say
I predicted a lot about what's happening right now
I'm not into saying I told you so
We didn't see it coming
I mean aren't they a classy crew by the way I do have more Biden
Audio to play from this but in the context of
The simple request don't by his family
Not a difficult request
Don't make this about yourselves
Don't make this about device of politics
And that they're so self-centered
So lacking in empathy or compassion for anyone else
I mean, it's one thing to go into it without the request
And Democrats are known for this using people's death not to memorialize them
But instead try and make political points
But when you are specifically asked by the family
Before the event please don't do and you still do it
I'm telling you every single one of those individuals
They're handlers before hand they the discussion was like what do we do now?
I mean the family's gone out and and and very specifically said not to do this
Every one of those individuals
From Barack Obama to Kamala Harris and who knows for Joe Biden said screw him we're going to do it anyway
It wasn't like they didn't know well we didn't hear that we didn't get the message yeah, they did
In fact, I'm sure they probably told ahead of time privately but feared
That the Jesse Jackson's family feared that they would ignore them
Because the public didn't know about the request so they did it publicly
Thinking well if we make it public then surely they will force them into not making it political
underestimating how to pray these people are
These are not good people these are bad people
Afterwards
Jesse Jackson Jr
I mean he had quite a bit to say but this gives you the gist of it
I listened
For several hours of three
United States presidents
Who do not know Jesse Jackson
Bill Clint was one of them and he he went on to
You know praise Jackson and listen Jesse Jackson was a shakedown artist he was in it for himself
It was all a revenue stream deal for him
But I mean it's the guy's memorial you're asked straight up and I
The these are the people that paint Republicans is cold and accuse them of using people
You know with just every day that goes by from although they're in different
Arenas and you know just different ways of being just vile
From Katie Kirk going on in her interview with Gavin Newsom just about how handsome he is to
These Democrats that defile
Deliberately against the request of Jesse Jackson's family hit his memorial
There's no depth that they will not sink none
Zero
These are the same people that spent two weeks
Acting appalled because Donald Trump joked with the boys are the men's hockey team that they were gonna have to share the spotlight with the girls
Telling them well, you know, I got invite the girls too
Like that was beyond the pale for them that was so
horrendously offensive those are the same people they go to this funeral and defiance of Jesse Jackson's family and use it for political purposes
Just disgusting
Absolutely disgusting human beings the worst
Oh Joe Biden of course managed to outdo himself and the others will have some of that. I played a clip of the audio there
But we've got some additional audio and quotes
As usual it really doesn't make much sense anyhow
It this is why they continue to have this guy show up for stuff. I don't know. I'm glad they do
But it is beyond me. Hey everyone. It's terrifying. Hey everyone. That's me
Form in mechanical heating and air. We're gonna have a couple of pretty warm days coming up today being one of them
If you haven't switched on your AC yet now is the time to do it and if you experience
You know uneven cooling throughout your home
Maybe some weird bangs or pops or you flip it on and the AC just doesn't work
It's time to call Russell over at form and mechanical now the form and team they offer residential and commercial services
And if something happens after those normal business hours
They have a 24 seven emergency service line as well and the best part in my humble opinion the form and team
They are not pushy if you want to repair versus replace they are going to work with you
If it is time to have the form and mechanical team out to your home reach out to Russell today
You can find all of the contact information for form and mechanical heating and air under the Sarah's endorsements tab at ksgf.com
right here is an expansion on some of the comments that
Joe Biden made while at the memorial for Jesse Jackson, which was oh did you notice Barack Obama was a little more black when he was talking by the way I did notice that actually
Joe Biden
So
Obama
You know, this is how democrats try to relate they
Will talk like they think black people talk
Um, Joe Biden always seems to take the opposite approach of
attempting to make himself sound better
More intelligent than than people that are minorities. This is just the the tactic he takes including telling the audience that he is smarter than that
Or at least most of them at the Jesse Jackson memorial among some other claims. If I told you all earlier when I was a kid
I had a cleft palate
Or club foot and then he would have laughed
But it's okay to laugh and stutter
I'm not being critical of you, but think about it. It's the one place for people think you're stupid
Oh really
I'm held a lot smarter than most of me
Oh
Two things here. I played this audio in my show on saturday one. Why do these white Democrats always talk to black audiences like that
I know well Gavin was some yes exact that was my point that I made on saturday as well and two
Why do these crowds clap at that stuff? I don't know
I mean, I don't know I I'm guessing that democrats would say well, it just proves our point
It's ridiculous. I don't know why I I don't
I don't even know if I want to know why I don't want to speculate as to why because it's just
To disappointing in terms of humanity for these
audiences these black audiences that get told by these rich white guys
It's oh and it seems like it's usually the rich white guys
You know that
Now
Biden and he's done this on a number of occasions
The you know
insisted that he's smarter than black people
What was the thing he that white kids are smarter than memory said that he said something about I forget exactly what that quote was
But then you have Kathy Hocal where she made that speech claiming that black kids didn't even know what computers are
Gavin knew some telling a black audience. I'm just like you. I don't read well and I have low
SAT scores and but it the thing is this
Shows us what they think of black people
And to your point that to do it in front of an audience of black and then they laugh and clap
What are you doing?
The quote you were looking for was poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids
Oh
There was another one that he he made a comment once
You can look this up
In which he said that bull what he was comparing black people with Hispanics
And and he said something along the lines of black people weren't nearly as
Was it like multi-talented or as diverse as as Hispanic people are
There he made some quote look that one up too. I mean
And of course we all know the things that he has said about how he was against busing black kids to white schools because in his words
It would turn the schools into jungles
He was um, did you find the quote? How about unlike the African-American community the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community
With incredibly diverse attitudes about different things and that wasn't a slip of the tongue
I
I mean, I don't know how much more clear and how many more times we have to say listen to these people when they talk and what they say
I mean, these are the people that will claim that Donald Trump is racist because he wants to clean up black neighborhoods
Making them safer for black families while they run around constantly demonstrating that they think black people are all the same
That they are not that bright
We can't have photo ID required for voting because black people can't figure out they don't have the same intellectual capacity to figure out how to get a photo ID that white people have
They don't even know what computers are
I mean if you were from some other planet and no concept of separate races and you were to sit down and get a tutorial from
Democrats on what the average black person is you would think it was an inferior race Margaret Sanger
Whom Hillary Clinton has praised for her vision
Deliberately targeted black people when it came to abortion because she
argued that they were inferior and they were animal-like and could not control their instincts
This is this was her argument for curbing the birth of black people and she is considered one of the great icons of the Democrat party
I
Don't know what it is going to take and there clearly are people members of the black community who have spoken of these things
But how it is that there is a single
Person of color that can hear these things and understand and I'm not even saying that this isn't about
Democrats. They're clearly not trying to be insulting
But to me that is a that is even worse because they don't even realize
That their beliefs what like that it I guess that it's bad they it's this white savior complex
They have that they are superior to black people and so I guess that's what they pat themselves on the back
And they see it as how enlightened they are when they are informing the black audience
You know, this is your lot in life. This is how you are you're not capable of these things
I'm your great great white savior look at me thank me vote for me
But but to have still even 10% of that community support that ideology and that party
I
It is a real mind bender well when he's offering a hundred thousand dollar a year for chief tasting officer position
That's right up your alley. I am applying for that job
Now I won't leave this one if I have to to take it up
But other than that if I if it means working 80 hours a week I will take that job
