Notre Dame Position Battle Updates: Offensive Line, Wide Receiver, Secondary, Backup QB & Running Back

Notre Dame football training camp is nearing the finish line, and several key position battles are beginning to take shape as the Fighting Irish prepare for Wisconsin, with major developments along the offensive line, in the secondary, at backup quarterback and throughout the running back rotation. Tyler Wojciak revisits the position battles he previewed two weeks ago, starting with Joe Otting’s push at center, Ashton Craig’s potential move to right guard and a crowded wide receiver rotation before breaking down DJ McKinney, Christian Gray and Jayden Sanders in the secondary, the competition behind Boubacar Traore and Bryce Young at defensive end, and finally the battles between Noah Grubbs and Teddy Jarrard at backup quarterback and Nolan James Jr., Jonaz Walton and Kedren Young behind Aneyas Williams at running back.
