2:09What is going on everybody? Welcome into the OG fantasy football show. Joining us today, special guest, Zane Denani. Welcome in. Zane, how are we doing, sir? Good, man. I'm really pumped to do this. This is all the podcasts that I've done. We've talked about players, news, all sorts of stuff, but I haven't done a mock draft. I've done bestball drafts and I think they're very different because we're doing redraft, right? And so redrafts. Yeah. And different strategy than just streaming a bestball draft, which I love doing bestball, but I think we're firmly in the redraft window. And so I think this is perfect time to get users accustomed to how to either abuse or

3:09strategize your team around the typical redraft season. I completely agree. We are in the middle of it. I know they just had the fantasy weekend kick off in Vegas this week. I think that's the main thing that I'm trying to keep it pretty light. Obviously, if anyone follows me on X at 90's AIN, which you can see here, I think the main thing that I try to do is just be like as open, honest, and provide my data dump of thoughts.

4:09And that's the way that I like to proceed, you know. And for me, it's one of those things where it's like I've been playing fantasy for so long. I mean, it's been 25 years. I was I was nine when I started at 10. Sorry. I'm almost 36. 36. I was 10 when I started and, you know, that's when you had to be in a computer room. And actually, like, doing stuff. And they didn't have targets on the website. Like, you just kind of said, oh, I think this guy's pretty good. But anyway, I started like that. And then, you know, I've been so deep in the weeds on drafting for so many years with like high stakes stuff and then best ball and whatnot. And I just felt like this season made sense for me to be more like vocal about the commentary that I wanted to throw out there. So I think the information that I've curated and like watching the film and doing the analytics and stuff too, I think combining all of that stuff was something to me that was going to be appealing that I thought would be appealing to people.

5:11And I'm hoping that that's the case. It definitely is, man. You mean you got a huge following on X right now. And like, that's your my first source to go to for breaking news. I mean, I'm kind of up in the demon hours anyways. And you like posting late. So I appreciate it. And your news is always accurate and on point. So I mean, it's a trustworthy source as well. That's that's appreciated. And whole, I mean, but you know, we know that there's things that are like speculated upon. So you have to be diligent about like being okay with being wrong sometimes because you are going to follow something that's like not 100% correct. The hope is that you're always giving people information that's going to be a little bit early to the game because I just think that there's a lot of edges that can be gained from that. And when you're drafting, it's pretty huge to be able to, you know, if you drafted a month ago, we didn't know that digs was going to be on the commanders, but there's a pretty good sign. You know, there was some and then the ADP's change and all sorts of stuff. So there's value to having information.

6:13And even right now, I still think that there's edges because there's players that are going late in drafts that people aren't going to be taking, especially in your standard like redraft leagues, but they're interesting, you know. So that's kind of the value of information at this point in time. Yeah. I mean, and it's awesome to hear because I mean, that's what we're looking for when we're drafting anyways. Let's go ahead and jump into this draft real quick. Get it started. We can talk what we're doing it. I'm going to be going from the three Zane is going to be going from the nine. It's a rock and roll. Already. And just like that, Gibbs and Bejohn off the board, one, two, kind of seen it all year. Now with the Jamar chase injury news that we just had today, I'm probably going to go Puka here. I mean, even with a hyper extended knee, I'm not happy about it. Yeah, I don't mind. Hard chase. Yeah. And then when it gets to my set, so this is interesting. I'm not going to take my full minute on this, but I have been the James Cook bowl this

7:15off season, where this is a full PPR league. I do think he's going to get more past catching opportunities. We still haven't seen Ty Johnson return to practice. I'm sure he'll probably be fine, but I'm good guy for like out for a while. I always think there's some risk there. James Cook in a good offense. And I always say this when it comes to redraft. I think that in the early rounds, sometimes people try to take big swings. And I think the answer is to lean into the good offense guy that's going to get a lot of production and you just feel confident like, hey, this guy's scoring a ton of points for me. Don't try to lose your draft in the early rounds. That's that's usually one of my strategies. Absolutely. And like one of the first things we didn't mention it, but it's, you know, no, your league settings, no, your rules first. I mean, that's priority number one because the scoring can affect everything. Whether it's full PPR or non PPR. Or if you're running back premium. So make sure you just go over your settings real quick, guys. So this one's tough because I have like, I have like internal feelings about how much

8:19I love Chase Brown. But like I just think that you have to take sake on in this situation, even though it's a full PPR, again, going back to like role, safety, all sorts of stuff. Like, yeah, I know there was early chatter in the off season about sake one, potentially being a guy that could lose some work to tank bigsby. And you know, it turns out like they were just giving him like some rest in practice. And they were giving it to be other looks. And now they're ramping up sake one workload. So I feel like this is one of those situations. Don't overthink it. Now you're getting it for me here. I'm getting a guy in the second round that broke fantasy two years ago. And it could easily happen again. So. Yep. And I was off of sake one last year coming off of that big year just because of the work load that he had. But I'm on board again this year, man. I love the call there. Like, I'm going to have to bump him up a little bit in my rankings. I think I'm too far down myself.

9:21And then AJ Brown, Drake London, McBride, go and George Pickens off the board as well. Um, you know what? I'm going to go ahead and tap in. I love me some Brock Bauer's man. It's hard not to. Yeah, that's the one tie down that I'm maybe okay with. But yeah. And this is not the first time I've seen McBride go over Bauer's either. I mean, do you have him as the two overalls? No, I have McBride very far down. I'm so worried about the Carson back effect that could happen later. I know he looked good in his one preseason game. Just one. Yeah, just one preseason game. Yeah. That's like against the Panthers, like third team defense. Um, I, he had some deep plays. Those things aren't always available. I don't like to read into that too much. I'm very worried that when it gets to a week, you know, 15 and 16, I typically do draft this way where I'm thinking about the end more than I am the beginning.

10:22Um, I, I'm going to be sitting here and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and project for like 40 yards and like half a touchdown because Carson Beck is going to be, um, projected for like 185 yards and one, one point two touchdowns or something. And I'm going to be scared. So. And then what the draft capital they invested in love to, I think they're half to give them work. Oh, yeah. Yeah. The, that's the other, um, underrated component that, um, I don't know that everybody's thinking about is I did some research on this this off season two, um, typically teams that give the ball to give that have a, we're back, go extremely run heavy in the red zone. Yep. Um, and so you're missing out on some potential opportunities when it comes to like, uh, touchdowns for McBride and it worries the absolute crap out of me. Mm hmm. I mean, I think his floor is still safe with his PPR value, but I think if you're spending a second around pick on it, you're going to be a little bit disappointed.

11:24Yeah. Yeah. And we're back on the clock. And now Jordan love and Kyron Williams went off the board. I do think so like your spot, this three spot is a very tough place to draft because you can very easily just get locked into taking like three receivers early, um, because you get with the Puka and it's just like obvious Puka chase like in that spot, uh, pick your favorite for me. It's Puka too. You know, is what it is. Um, and then, uh, in the next spot, like these running backs already go. So you don't really have very many options. You could take darec Henry, um, but in redraft, I don't mind the darec Henry play. I love the darec Henry call and redraft. Yeah. Yeah. But you know, there's time, depending on your draft, like there's times he doesn't make it back to you in this spot. So yeah, the other thing, if you don't get a darec Henry, then you're thinking about Jeremiah Love and Kyron and and Javante, like those types of names. And I'm not, those are the names that I'm not excited to click. The round, round three is where I really like a lot of receivers.

14:36Yep. A great part. Yeah. And I think that kind of missing out. I don't want to reach on running back from the three spot. I am going to go ahead and take Derek Henry here just to lock up an RV one spot. Going for like with the way the running backs are coming off the board for read draft leagues this year. Like it seems like you're going to have to get a couple in the first three rounds. And then there's so much wide receiver value between the four and eighth. And I just love that section of the board this year. Oh, yeah. And this is one of my favorite spots of the draft to and, you know, we didn't talk about this live with everybody, but I did get to pick my slot and I did pick it a little bit in my cheat code way where I said, Hey, this is a slot that I like to take. I can get a bunch of guys that I like to get. And I think one of the things that you can do, especially on sleeper, is potentially abuse like these injury tags, right? I think it's very likely that Malik neighbors plays week one. And I am, I think that he is one of those players that we would easily be taking in round

15:43one if he wasn't hurt. Last year. And obviously there's some risk. But for me here, this is one of those things where it's like there's just a huge separation and talent between him and the guys that come after him where I'm like, I got to take it, especially with the two running backstarts. I like in this slot, taking two running backs to start because I feel like I'm getting pretty elite production there. And then there's a lot of good wide receivers that come after that. So Malik neighbors is going to be my pick here. Yeah. And neighbors has been one of my go to's going on that two, three or coming around into the top of the third round. There's so much potential to be had there. And like you said, he should be almost a wide round one talent at this point, but because of the knee, he's gotten pushed back. Just he passes the eye test man. Like he looks good and camp. Yeah, I completely agree. I'm very big in into him. And I feel like I feel lucky that I was even able to spend time to get him in this spot. I feel like maybe the mock draft has just given me some luck here.

16:47Another situation where I'm getting lucky because I really like safe flowers in this spot, too. And again, I said this in the last round, but this is just such a wide receiver, especially when you get on the back half of the draft is such a favorable wide receiver spot in round three and four where like if I didn't have Malik neighbors there, I would have had Devonta Smith, Vlad McConkey, like because he would have probably got let's just say neighbors went earlier, say flowers, a guy that I'm going to take right now that I would have taken potentially at that spot. I even like Dylan Waddle, Garrett Wilson, like those are all names that one of those guys is going to pop really, really big this year. And I'm like, you know, in my variable drafts, I have my favorites. But if I'm doing like a portfolio based thing, like I'm just taking chances on all of them. Yeah. In this situation, I'm going to take safe flowers. I feel like strong that his production is going to be good.

17:47But if he wasn't there, I'll just say that I would have taken Dylan Waddle. Okay. Yeah. I mean, I love the Jalen Waddle pick two. I mean, that's been one of my go-to's as well. I think that's a lot of like people's my guys this year is Jalen Waddle. But he has a flowers. I think he's getting a little bit slept on. It's either like a little hate with him for some reason. But I mean, with the Declan Doyle system and the contract, he just got in how they want to push the ball. I think he's going to have a big season. Yeah. I agree. Like, they don't really have too many other options, you know. Yeah. Like we're talking about a rookie. They're going to have to rely about rely upon with Jacobi Lane. And then Mark Andrews kind of looks dusty now. And Rashad Bateman, we don't even know if he's going to be playing. But if he is playing, he's also been kind of dusty and injured over time. So it's pretty much like all eyes on on Zayf Lourdes. The big thing with him is you just want him to score touchdowns and he hasn't done that yet. Yeah. But they use him enough in the offense to get him involved in the run game too.

18:50So we'll see how that goes. I am going to go ahead and take Jaylen Waddle here. And Drake may opt forward. Now, I know with the quarterbacks this year, how are you feeling? Are you like in on taking an elite early or are you waiting to see kind of guy? I'm a wait and see. I think that there's so many that I like all of them basically. I'm okay with just waiting for a long time. I had like one of my high stakes drafts that I did recently. And like I got Brock Purtie in round 13 and then I took Kyler in round 14. And I was happy with just like the Yan and Yang where I feel safe with Purtie because he's stable tied to a good offense. Like they even when there's players out, they still perform well. And then the Yang with Kyler Murray and the potential of that rushing that I could get from him. And what happens if his weapons elevate him and the system elevates him.

19:50Yeah, I like taking that kind of approach with all of this. Yeah, I mean, there's like you said, there's so much value there. I mean, I saw Baker Mayfield in the 13th earlier and there was still Kyler there as well. There's just a lot of value. I'm going to go ahead and take Rome here because that's one of the guys I'm high on this year. I love the production and the talent profile. Especially with the offense in Chicago. Then Johnson going to have that thing. Amen, baby. All right, so this is an interesting one. There's multiple ways that I would play this, but you know, we have a flex spot. And I do like Deandre Swift, common on guys currently dealing with injury. I feel pretty good about what I'm getting when I get Deandre Swift. And if if my young guy is missing time, I expect Deandre Swift to play a ton. Like this isn't going to be a typical Ben Johnson split with like Gives and Montgomery in past.

20:52It's going to be like, Hey, this is mainly Deandre Swift. They don't have much behind the young guy. They don't really like Rochon Johnson. Not even sure he's going to make the team. It could be Salvin Ahmed. And they're not going to give Salvin Ahmed touches. Like he's not going to be involved. So I like the production that I would get with Deandre Swift here. I've had I haven't ranked a lot higher than most people do. Yeah, I think I had him around 18 if I remember correctly, but with the manonga thing, we're going to have to bump them up there. Now Tyler Warren did go right before the pick that I had with Rome. If he was there, I would have tapped Tyler Warren in the fifth. That's kind of the last tight end in that tier bucket for me. But with him being gone, I just went ahead and went at Rome and I'll wait on tight end for a little bit later. Yeah. And so in this spot, I think wide receiver gets kind of ugly. If you don't end up taking one here and I'm in a spot where I probably should take another one. So I typically lean towards Christian Watson.

21:54And I'll just give some insight into why right now with Christian Watson. I don't think that the market has caught up with the fact that I think he's going to be a true full-time receiver. Like they are not going to be rotating very much this season. We saw that in the first preseason game, the second preseason game, they only played one drive. And it was a 12-play drive. So they took him out for a little bit. It was a 12-play drive. So he had to be cognizant of that. And it was just like two plays that they took him out and they put him back in. He's going to play a lot. The team is playing three seconds faster. And if you calculate what that means, it's like two to three plays more that they may have per game, which is huge for fantasy as well. And I think they're going to be passing more this season too, leaning into that, giving more autonomy to during love. I agree with that. It's a lot of playing a different role this year a little bit. I think he might be playing a little bit more underneath than he typically has.

22:55So I think there's more PPR-2 is game than what is left on. I do think it's tough because Mike Evans won the board too, because I know he won it just right after me. But it is. Yeah. I feel like I like if I'm comparing two hamstring guys, I'm going to take the younger one. Yeah, I agreed 100% with that one. I mean, and I love that Mike Evans production that we've gotten over the last years. But just with the age thing, it is a little bit of a concern. But I do like to price this count that we get in the sixth round this year. Now, I had mentioned this before we started going that from the practice that I saw today at Injaxeville that Parker Washington is going to be a PPR assassin this year. And he will probably finish as a wide receiver one. I am perfectly comfortable reaching for Parker Washington at this point. And then with Brian Thomas picking up that question in Bulltag too, he had that big long touchdown the first play of practice and then was out the rest of it.

23:55So we'll have to keep an eye on that. But Parker's going to be the PPR guy. So I love the value here. You watched the practice where you at the practice. Did you read about it? Yeah. Did you get to tell me? No, I was at the practice. You were at the practice. Wow. Yeah, we're right here in Duval. Awesome. That's amazing. Hopefully that might be one of the ways that you've filmed me because I've been like pumping all Duval content this entire like off season. But yeah, huge on Parker Washington. I'm glad to hear that you feel the same way, especially like having observed it personally. Yeah, I'm big into that right now. I mean, and he's just the Trevor. He's Trevor's first read on about 75% of the plays it seemed like. Yeah. And that offense work either Parker. That's that's what it is. Yep. And then coming back around. This is, see. I know what I'm going to try. I'm here. But I'm here. I'm here. What you're thinking. So normally I would try and stack Trevor, but with all these quarterbacks on the board,

24:58I'm going to go ahead and take Caleb Williams. Because I do think he has a quarterback one upside as well. And in the seventh, I'm okay. Because I know this is usually about the rounds where those quarterbacks go just from doing mocks earlier. Yeah. So. Yeah. So I wanted to hear him fan in to fall to me. I didn't get that opportunity. But there's one other cheat code tight end that I like that's still available. And I there's like a few tight ends that I'm willing to prioritize. And this is one of them. I'm in a George Kittle. He's going to play. He's most likely playing either week one or week two. And it's okay if he misses week one to me. I'm getting that discount already. I'm not that worried about this injury for him. Talk to doctors about this. And it's not as big of a deal where he had his Achilles injury was higher up on that Achilles area. And so it's one of those things where like, I don't think people recognize like you hear Achilles and then you think back to like

26:00for me at least, I think back to like the early 2000s where it's like, oh, this guy had an Achilles injury and their career is over. Yeah. No, I like this is not the same thing anymore. I love taking George Kittle in drafts. And then, you know, if there's early season risk with him, there's plenty of tight ends that I feel really comfortable taking later that I feel I can get early season production from one name that I'll drop is Juan Johnson without Jordan Tyson. One, I think they're going to be playing a ton of two tight endsets anyway. So he's going to be out on the field a lot. Like them playing two tight endsets means that they're going to have at least like a guy that they feel more comfortable like blocking and then their top receiving option as well, which is Juan Johnson. So I feel good about that. And then when he's on the field, he's probably going to be the top the number two target on the team that's running prowl. It's because it's a lave and then and then you probably have Juan Johnson.

27:02And so I feel really good about that pairing early in the season while, you know, Jordan Tyson is getting up speed and hopefully getting healthy at some point. Yeah, agreed. And Juan Johnson who finished his tight end eight last year. I mean, if you want to be sneaky, you can stack them with a little Tyler Shuck in the last couple rounds. I saw him go into 16th round or what? Juan Johnson went in the 15th and then Shuck went 16. That was earlier today when we were doing that with fourth in fantasy. So I mean, that's there's so much value there. It's just if you miss out on the top tier, I'm not mind reaching for a later one. Yeah. And so right now, since I built up a pretty decent running backroom, I think I'm going to go with an RB4. And my RB4 in this situation is going to be a little bit more risky. It's going to be Jonathan Brooks. And I like taking Jonathan Brooks in this situation because again, I have James Cook, say Juan Barclay and DeAndre Swift.

28:04I don't really like a lot of the receivers left. Like I'm not a huge Michael Wilson guy. I Marvin Harrison just went where he went recently. But I wasn't I'm not that interested in him for the same reasons as what we talked about with Draming Bride a little bit. And I think that there's a couple more receivers that I'm interested in that that will come a little bit later. So I feel like this is a good time to get that like if things break right, I've taken a chance on running back that I don't even have to start in Jonathan. And that was actually my target coming around here. So I appreciate that one. And then Dalton can K win as well. So I got sniped two times. That's okay. I'm definitely that's interesting. Like we're talking PPR like, that's the that's the role he's probably going to play. He's going to play like more of the past catching role. And of course he can earn more over time. But right now, if you are a role like great, I already got a pass catcher in this offense. And I think if he can come in and do well too, he can secure a good chunk of that role.

29:06He doesn't have to really worry about it. And degrading too much once he gets back. Now kill Williams here. I do need a running back. Not like most confident on JK Dobbins, even though you know I'm a buck high baby. But I think Sean Payton's going to give him a lot of work. And he has upside as long as he's healthy and dislating drafts. I don't mind it because I can just take other chances elsewhere. Yeah, I've talked about this on other streams. And my rankings I just updated earlier today. I still have JK Dobbins above market in a lot of places. I just think that they're going to, you know, people get excited with the shiny toy. Jonah Coleman looked good and then they pulled him. I think they have a specific role in mind for Jonah Coleman. And it's technically like that Tyler Bady, Julio McLaughlin role, which is like just passed down, past pro maybe like a couple like spell carries, stuff like that to start. Yeah, JK Dobbins talent wise.

30:06Like I think people will think that he's not a good running back. And let me just say that he is like actually he might be a really really good running back. Like one of the best. It's just a matter of him staying healthy. So that's that's why I like him a lot. And I think that the team is going to rely on him quite a bit at the beginning of the season at the very least. Yeah. Now right here I'm looking at either probably build or reshawed white. Any suggestions here. Yeah, because I am like a build guy and like with the discount, I think you can get a good shot at having an RB1 that late in drafts. I was tweeting about this earlier, like I don't know maybe an hour or two hours ago, but Ben standing. So what one thing that I've been doing lately, filling around with tracking like consistency of reporters over the years. And I started with the MVP of specifically the commanders. Okay, so I did stand big John time and Nikki Jaha Bala.

31:09I think that's how you say her name. And I was trying to see like over the years how like accurate have they been, what some of the stuff that they've done. And Ben standing is just like on the money. Like the rookie year for Brian Robinson, he had him being like their RB1 even though he got shot. Antonio Gibson had like you know 250 carries and 46 perceptions the year before and was still on the team. And Brian Robinson was the third round rookie. So there's really no reason why he should earn that role. But he had him as the RB1 lead running back and that ended up happening. And then last year in March, or sorry no in May of 2025, he said that he thought that there was a chance that Brian Robinson wouldn't make the team. And then he followed that up in August by saying I don't think he's going to make the team. And then he followed that up like one week later and said I still don't think he's going to make the team. And then one week after that, he gets traded.

32:09And he thought Bill was going to be the guy. And then this year, he is saying that he believes Bill is going to be their like primary lead running back with Rashad White doing some of the extra like some of the pass down work, some of the passing work, but mainly leaning into Jacobi Croskey Mary. Yeah. And that's how I felt as well. I know with there's some injury news so you might be able to get a dip on him, but we're so far away from week one that anything not serious. I'm not taking too seriously myself. I'm just kind of taking everything with the green assault and being able to get an RB1 this late is a little risky, but it could hay off of the L2. Well, there were videos too. He was running around catching passes. It was non-contact or anything, but that's what you want to see. Now in this spot, this is when I start getting back to my PPRT code receivers. There's three guys that I like and I don't know which one I want to decide between, but right now at the top of the queue would say Michael Pittman, Jordan Addison,

33:14Josh Downs, a guy that I really like. Quentin Johnston, Stefan Diggs, another guy that I really like. Jane Reed, and Wanda Robinson, and Casey Concepcion. And in my ranks, I have Stefan Diggs ranked way higher than I think any single analyst that exists right now. I have him at like 70 in my ranks. I think he's going to be there wide receiver one. He plays a more consistent role in the author and being more of that short area target. He still showed juice after the catch last year. He had 1,000 yards last year. It wasn't even in a full-time role because of coming off the injury. And I think he will be, you know, he saw the preseason game. They had three total offensive snaps with the starters. He came off the field and two wide receiver sets for one snap. And I don't think that's like a really strong sample size of what I think is actually going to happen

34:15because Dan Quinn has talked about him playing in two wide receiver sets being an outside receiver and inside. So I think that that was just like it's a preseason. Like let's just get some guys out there and figure things out. So I am just shocking that up to that. And I got lucky that all of my guys are still around. And I still haven't taken a quarterback. And I'm kind of interested in taking one, but I might push it another round because I really want one of these receivers that I really like. And I think I'm going to go with Josh Downs because it's a Christian lesson earlier. So I really want to do a red and often. And you said, wait another round. I think that's another thing to point out is looking at your draft board as you're going because all the teams after you have already taken a quarterback. And as long as the computer doesn't do something stupid and start doubling up here. But in your home leagues, most of your people aren't going to take two quarterbacks unless they're doing it later. So I mean, that's, I've liked that strategy a lot as well because nobody else is probably going to

35:17take a quarterback here. So you get the guy you want and the quarterback you want around later also. Exactly. That's why I feel good about it. Yep. This late in the 10th round, I do like Matthew Golden here. I know Casey conception was on the board too. But I think there's going to be a lot of room for Matthew Golden to expand this year, especially, you know, you know, how you're two wide receivers are the bump that they get. And like the target consolidation that we're going to see Ingram Bay should be a good little chunk of some change for me there. But yeah. And then got Kenny Gainwell, Jaden Reed and the defenses are coming off. And then there goes Casey conception right before my next pick. And here we are again. And I'm going to have to take some camp buzz here and jump on the rookie hype train. And I'm going to go ahead and get some stripling action. Just to mix it up a little bit. I want upside shots later in my draft anyways. Like these are the lottery tickets I'm hoping for. I don't really care about just bench fodder at this point. I'd rather have options.

36:22And if they don't work out in the first couple of weeks, I can cut bait and work the waivers. Yeah, I agree. And I wanted Brock Pertice. I'm a little unhappy that, you know, obviously I got kind of sniped on that whole situation. But I talked about earlier. I talked about how I think that this packers offense is going to go more pass heavy. They're going to play faster. I think it would make sense, especially with my situation, having Christian Watson to essentially take Jordan love as well. And correlate my team a little bit for certain weeks. I don't do this all the time in redraft. But I do think that the bet is similar that if Christian Watson is really good for love is also going to be very good. So I like taking that swing in this. Yeah. And I think that offense is getting slipped on a lot this year too. And the other one that I was going to take is Kyler Murray because I talked about him earlier. And I said that one of my strategies is to take a late like a late quarterback and double up on

37:28that and make sure that one of those is probably Kyler because I think he's a he's just a guy that could he's one of the guys that if you looked up at the end of the season and he was like QB 5. Like he's attached to Justin Jefferson. He's attached to Kevin O'Connell. I wouldn't be like super super surprise. I mean, it would obviously be surprising. But it's not one of those things that's out of the realm of possibilities for a guy that runs and has actually had a top five season in the past. So that's a great for the reasons why I like taking that swing, especially because you can a lot of times you can stream quarterbacks off the waiver wire anyway. So if he doesn't work out and things just turn to nothing, 100% agreed. And we know O'Connell's a magician with quarterbacks. I mean, even if Kyler Murray is just adequate with this rushing upside, he should provide good value. And taking him so late in

38:29drafts, I don't care if you have to cut him if you need to. So I love it. Yep. We are here. No, we're good on run. This is probably one of the little a little bit more running back depth for myself. And for me, Alvin Camera has been a go-to target. I think with the eight and a half million, they're giving him this year. He's going to get more work than we're anticipating. And with the PPR upside that he has, I love that value there. Yeah. The only concern I have with him right now is the injury. So it's like, is he going to be healthy? Is he not? I don't know. They haven't really given us an amount of detail to know yet. But if he does play, the whole team, I was talking about this on a different stream before, but every player and coach that they talked to has basically said, yeah, both of these guys are going to do X, Y and Z. And I think that people are not understanding that that means it's a two-back situation with him and Travis H.Anne.

39:35Agreed. Camera hasn't been a league winner in the last couple of years, but he's been serviceable enough to help you win weeks and secure roster spots on your starting lineups. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that's that's the thing with Camera. And if he is healthy, earlier I was talking about John Johnson being a top two target guy, but if he's out on the field, it could easily be Camera. Yeah. Yep. Now, with having to pick kickers and defense this year, are you a late round, last round kicker defense guy? Yeah. And I had reasons for it. Like, I always feel like I have a decent kicker and defense strategy. Last year, I was really high on the Seahawks, and we saw how that turned out in previous seasons. Like, I feel like I always have my finger on the pulse of the one that nobody is drafting that could be pretty good. And so I usually just tend to take those guys last because I know when nobody else is going to do it, nobody's going to draft two

40:38kickers and defenses. This year, and I'll just say it out loud because it doesn't matter. Like, we're not actually drafting with real humans. Yeah. I like Chase McLaughlin a lot for kicking. And he's not a guy that's like in a lot of like top 12 rankings. I think the offense is really underrated. They had a lot of injuries last year. And I think that one thing that I look for especially with kickers and defenses, like, you're probably going to end up dropping them at some point. So one of the most important things is like, who is going to get me a lot of points early in the season for these two positions? Chase McLaughlin, I did did the analysis, but they have like one of the higher implied totals start the season. Like in most of their games, like, their implied totals are higher than a lot of other teams. And then on top of that, one other thing that I think is

41:39underrated is like this team before me, which is a ghost team, took Jake based. And I like that team doesn't, doesn't they go for a fourth down a lot. And so they don't kick as often. So you want guys that are going to be on teams that don't go for fourth down as much. I know we're spending a lot of time on kicker discussion, but I think it's important. I do too. On 20 points a week. Yeah, well, I did the analysis on who does the go rates very often in those like kicking ranges. And Todd Bowles was the second lowest in the NFL in terms of like going for fourth down. And I do think it's a head coach decision. I don't think it's like an offense coordinator decision. It's usually the head coach that makes that choice. So I feel really good about Chase McLaughlin in this in these situations. I'm not going to take him right now, but that was my long winded way of saying, yeah, you should draft. Chase McLaughlin. Oh, right. And then Randall in the chat says, if Purti would have fallen, would you have gone love or Kyler for your quarterback to I would've taken Purti over love. And I

42:43would've gone Kyler. Gotcha. Yeah. And that was just for the rushing up side. And where it's like, I want Kyler because I want that like potential crazy upside. All right, I should actually pick somebody. Your good point of the draft for me, where I'm starting to take like my priority handcuffs at running back. Guys that I think make the NSE if their starter got injured. And I don't care about what their base role is, like at all. It just doesn't matter to me. So I have take one, Barkley, so I'm not going to take take Bigsby, but that would be one of the names that I'd be looking at. And again, I'm not a handcuffer. Like I don't only handcuff my own players. I usually go after other people's. So the other one that I really like and I don't have

45:50Josh Jacobs is March on the way. Those are my two like big priority handcuffs right now in draft season. And I have them ranked like in the 120s, which is super high. But that's because at a certain point, like I would rather, if I if I was taking a RB two, I understand that I would rather take a guy like, you know, Tony Pollard to like fill early season weeks. But if I'm taking like my RB five right now, I want a guy that I think could just absolutely dominate in fantasy if they get the main role with injury or whatever it is. And I think March on Lloyd has that capability. Even though we've seen him get injured a bunch, like I'm taking a big swing. These roster spots are likely going to be players that you end up dropping at some point anyway. So my will agree. I agree. That's what I said earlier. Once you get into like the double digits, that's why I start reaching for lottery tickets and like backup handcuffs. And I had mentioned this the other day too about because you said you don't handcuff your own players, you handcuff other people's. And that's

46:51something I've started doing the last probably four or five years. And it seems weird. But as soon as it pays off, you're like, oh my god. Yep. Okay. I'm sold. Yeah. Exactly. There's three later tight ends that I really like. And right now, you know, in a PPR setting, I think it's a little bit different too. But there's three tight ends that I really like. And I'm just going to take one of them now. But that's Johan Johnson. I talked about it earlier. The other two are Dalton Schultz and Terrence Ferguson. Dalton Schultz, I think, is live to be a top two target owner on his team too. I know they just traded for Kasha on booty. But again, booty is more of like a deep threat type of player. So he's not going to be like highly targeted. He's going to be like drawing the defense, opening things up for Nico Collins. And then Schultz is obviously going to play more underneath and just kind of like potentially PPR scam his way. But the team is going to play more to tie down sets this year too, which just means that Schultz is going to be on the field all the time. He was on the field all the time last year. And that's what you want for tight ends

47:54sometimes. And so that like if I didn't end up getting Johan Johnson in this situation, I would have gone with Schultz. And Terrence Ferguson is the other kind of like cheat code later that I like taking a shot on too. Because one, he could be good as the quote de facto quote-unquote wide receiver three for the team. But injury or suspension or whatever happens with Puka or Devonte Adams, you're talking about a top potential top two target owner. And that's the other thing I look for in tight end is like, are they one injury away from potentially being like a top two target owner on their team? And is the team good in that situation? And the team is good. Yeah. And so yeah, glad you said that. Because like I think that's a good like just a key note is if you don't know what to do if you're tilted and you've lost track of who you're taking target good offenses and people with opportunity, I mean, I think that's just a solid

48:54strategy. And here with this next pick here before we take kickers and defenses, I'm looking for just straight upside. I know it's another rookie, but we're going to go Cyrus Allen attached to Patrick Mahomes back with Eric B&M. I think it's going to be a really good year for Pat. I think he's probably going to finish like QB seven. Oh yeah, yeah. I mean, that's that's the thing with with the situation. Like I shared this, but one of the podcasts that I was listening to for the Kansas City Chiefs was saying like, he's their best man coverage beater. And it's like, okay, well then why is he not going to play? Like at some point, well, he's probably going to be on the field because they have nobody else that's good against me and coverage. So, yeah, I mean, I think he's going to be at least top four in terms of wide receivers. And then all three of their starters have questionable like injuries that they're dealing with right now, where she writes still coming off the knee, Xavier Worthy dealing with his shoulder issue.

49:56And then I think Taekwondo written has a hamstring thing that he's still kind of working through too. So, yeah, and then yep, agreed. And then with the Kenna Walker injury too. And then going on with the kicker here, I'm always going to take defense last because I stream defense such as how I've been doing it. But it gets a lot of trace smack on this roster, man. He's look good in this preseason. I mean, you're not going to make me feel bad when you take trace smack. And especially because you get to say like, I get to smack talk everybody right now. That's the key to all of this. Yeah, I mean, sometimes having a fun roster is more important than having like a dominant roster, man. Like I can grab a kicker anywhere. So having a fun one's good to have, especially if he's kicking it two or three times a game. For sure. I'm going to take my chase McLaughlin because I talked about him earlier. They have a high overrunner for the, sorry, they have a high implied total for the first like couple games of the season. And then they do kick the ball often whenever they

51:00get in kicking range, which is something that I look for and kickers. He's also pretty accurate too. So yeah, he's not going to screw those opportunities up. No, I know one of our little buddies, Mr. Sportsdavi, he is a big Chris Boswell guy. And that's one of his kicker targets as well as Boswell. Nice, nice. Yeah. Oh, we were wrapping it up here in the last round going defense. Is there anything specific you look for when targeting defenses late? Is it just the first couple of weeks is a week one? Like what exactly are you looking for a defense? I say it. So I, it's, it's either or. And sometimes it depends on what the, what the room gives me. So last year I was really high on the Seahawks because I thought that they had a chance to be a dominant defense. And they were kind of a like on the fringe of being drafted. Like maybe defense number 12 or 13 or 14, right? So it's like, I think on your league size all sorts of stuff like that. And so I felt good about the talent there. And that's like a talent specific situation. And then there's

52:01like the defenses that you want to start the season with and stream with. The funny thing is they actually fell into both categories. I think they played like, they had like a super easy schedule to start the season too. So I felt good about them. This here, I think that, so I'll just say this. I think there's some underrated defenses. And I am a Cowboys fan because I grew up there. But I do think that defense has potential. They're playing the Giants week one. Giants are, you know, obviously dealing with guys that are coming off of injury. They're doing a whole new offensive system. Going under center, which creates so much change for Jackson Dart who hasn't done that in the past as well. And then yeah, like look at their weapons and opportunity there. Like I, and I actually think the Cowboys pass rush could be pretty good. The problem with them last year was their secondary and their linebackers. And they kind of short some of that stuff up. Yes, they did. Completely new defense coordinator coming from the from the Vic Fangio system Christian Parker, who's supposed

53:08to be a defensive back guru or two. I think this defense is going to look so different this year. And they play the Giants week one. So I'm going to take them. Yep. There we go. All right. I like to like, I'm a John. There's a guy that I've been taking in drafts too because Kenneth Walker is one of those guys that like, you know, you've seen over, he had just always like dealing with like ankle, like lower body injuries. And so I like taking Kenneth Walker, but he's a scary guy to take because of the injury risk. So he might as well take a chance on a guy that I think is the handcuff to him. Yeah. And I think if you take Ken Walker, normally I say don't handcuff your own players, but Ken Walker is one of those guys that I'm okay taking Emma Johnson late as well because his cost is going to cost you nothing. And you can stash him on your bench just because of the history you've seen with Ken Walker. Yeah, exactly.

54:13Yeah, there's sometimes like buying a backfield isn't a bad idea. If you feel like the RB2 is talented and they're like the clear handcuff, I could actually say that about sake one. Like I think that I actually think that tank big B is really good. You're from DuVol. I don't know what your thought process was on that. But like I could see why the new regime wanted to get rid of him because they had H&N and then they drafted Bayshore Tutin and it just felt like for us for this team, it doesn't make sense. And I think it's a good. Alan and Passpro. Yeah, yeah. And so I think he's I think he's a good running back. And if something happened to sake one, I think it's pretty clear that it would be him as that that like RB2 behind one of the best health unsolides in the league. A team that wants to lead into the run. I think he would just plug and play. Not that he's a sake one talent, but like he's a I think he's one of the better backup running backs. Yeah, yep, agreed. Yeah, Alex in the chat. What's up, Alex?

55:14Going on. All right. And we are all wrapped up here. Going over your team. Hey, look solid. Maybe got solid running backs. James Cook, Sequon Barkley, DeAndre Swift, then he sniped Jonathan Brooks from me. And then you also got in Marcha Lloyd. So I mean, you got solid depth there. I like it a lot. And then you also got neighbors and flowers Watson and then Stefan Diggs and Josh Downs in the 10th is just ridiculous value. I love that pick there. Yeah. And normally like if I took a if I had hailed fan, I wouldn't have drafted a second tight on, but because I got Kittle and a little bit worried about what it might look like for him week one, that kind of stuff. That's the reason I took John Johnson. Most times, most of the times in like a shallower, you know, 16 round draft where I have 14 like skill position players, I'm not taking a second tight on if I if I draft for the good one. No, agreed. And I think that brings up a good point too is if you take a premium onesie position

56:15in quarterback or tight end, I think it's smart to double up on whichever one you don't take later on in the second draft. Yeah, exactly. And that's what I like right here. I took love and Murray. So it made sense. Typically with like a Kittle type, you wouldn't take a second tight end, but he's just in that unique situation where I think you should. Yeah, especially coming off of the injury better safe than sorry, especially if you're paying up in single digit prices for him. It's better just keep up a little cheap one later. Exactly. Yeah. And then over on the OG side, we started off with Pukin, Akua. We got Brock Bowers. Our wider sea of her limbs looking good. The running back rooms looking a little shaky. But I mean, if Derek Henry can stay healthy of JK Dottas can stay healthy, man. That's a legit room that can get you to the playoffs. And then if you can pick up players through waivers, like you got a shot especially with the PPR value. I took two guys that I'm like super flag planning throughout the season that I've super flag planted early in the season, which are Jalen, Jalen Waddle and Parker Washington, like two

57:20guys that I'm super in on. So if you had taken Luther Burton instead of Roma, Dunes, that would have been like the trifecta of like, did they draft this team or like who is drafting that team? But you know, you have your favorites. I have mine. That's how this stuff works. But I love the Jalen Waddle and Parker Washington one. Again, we talked about JK Dobbins potentially being underrated because people like to see the shiny toy. Jonah Coleman, I gave the tip on Dekorikroski Merit. You needed a running back anyway. And so that made a ton of sense. Getting like the depreciated asset in Matthew Golden who's going to play basically like all the snaps and what we just talked about as you know, essentially really strong pass offense. It kind of feels a little bit Quentin Johnson like to me, but I think that he's more talented

58:20than Quentin Johnson was in terms of like actual true route running. And you know, when people see like a year one situation where a guy like just doesn't perform, we all want to throw it in a trash. But sometimes, especially these round one guys, if they don't get deployed in the right situation, like it can take a minute for them to get up to speed. And then obviously taking to John Stribling, like one of those things where it's like, I mean, what if this does work out for him? Like what if the preseason is real? And I did a like little bit of a film review on him and he was getting open. He was doing all the things that you'd want to see from a good receiver. I didn't love the talent coming out of college, but sometimes you just have to like throw that in the garbage. The team is talking about him being a starting receiver for their team as a rookie. And this is an offense where you want to attack that because receivers for the 49ers score fantasy points. So yes, they do. Yeah, and especially with Mike Evans on the edge there with his age, like Mike Evans is a healthy guy, but I mean, our bodies

59:24wear down as we get older. So I'm taking a young guy. I'm just kidding. Oh, yeah. And then we got Camara, Woody Marx, then Trace Mac back there. And then Jaguars defense, I took strictly for that week one matchup. And their defense looks good too. Yeah, yeah, I agree. Last year, they were like turnover champions. And I know that they got rid of what was it? Devon Lloyd. Yeah, I don't know for stuff like that, but their defense is still going to be pretty solid. They have a Brian Thomas on defense too. So, you know, I don't know if he runs a four to but that's exciting. Yeah. No, there's a lot of those double names this year. Like a couple B Robinson's. There's a couple K Allen's.
