The Emmington Oilers scored a key 5-3 win over the San Jose Sharks at Rogers Place, grabbing

two vital points in the type-acific division.

This moves them into second place, seven points ahead of San Jose and ahead of Vegas after

They responded with a dominant third period to seal the deal.

Emmington also did well containing San Jose's young stars, holding Maclin Celebrini pointless

despite his 95 points this season and limiting.

Will Smith to one shot, that forced the sharks to rely on lesser players where the Oilers

had the edge.

The Oilers wrap up their 4-game homestand Thursday March 19 against the Florida Panthers.
