It’s one of the most abused words of our generation. We throw it around lightly. We say things like, “Follow your passion,” “Do what you love,” “Chase what excites you.” But the truth is, most people have misunderstood passion entirely.

The word passion comes from the Latin word “passio,” which means suffering and endurance.
