From NFL coverage, this is your March 17th update.
The New England Patriots have signed veteran-wide receiver Romeo Dows in Free Agency, reportedly
beating out the Washington commanders for his services.
This move fills a gap after the team released leading receiver Stefan Diggs just one year
into his three-year contract.
Dubs drew strong interest from both teams, but he ultimately picked New England and a close
call.
Last season in 2025, the 25-year-old posted 55 catches for 724 yards and six touchdowns,
splitting time with two different quarterbacks.
His skills as a precise route runner make him a great fit for chain-moving plays and
the signing signals real progress for the Patriots under.
Quarterback Drake May and head coach Mike Raeble.
