Despite the loss on Sunday, and the New York Mets winning, the Phillies still clinched a Playoff spot for the 4th consecutive season after the San Francisco Giants lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Phillies Magic Number to clinch the NL East is now just 1, and any win or Mets loss will give the Phillies the division for the 2nd year in a row.
