The Predators have now won three games in a row, boosting their record to 32 wins, 28 losses and 9 overtime losses.

That momentum helped them control the pace against the struggling Vegas squad.

Meanwhile, the Golden Knights have dropped their last three contests, managing just one goal total in that stretch.

Shay AI Theodore got their lone tally on a wrist shot, but a Kirish mid face only 16 shots in defeat.

Nashville built their lead with quick strikes, including power play goals from Stamcoes and O'Reilly, plus a short-handed score from Tyson Joost.

Vegas couldn't mount much comeback pressure after that.
