1:12Hello everyone, Charles, welcome back to Inside Hoster. It is Friday. The weekend is very nearly here. I hope you have a good one wherever you're watching or listening to this around the world. Thank you for joining me here on the channel, the home, the Premier League champions who are back in action tomorrow with a tricky looking game away at Sunday. We all remember what happened there last season. That late equaliser finished 2-2. Of course, Michael Adeter has been speaking earlier on this morning at his press conference ahead of that game. I thought I'd pop on now. Go over some of the pieces that he had to say in terms of team news, updates on Williams-Aleba during timber or Williams-Aleba. Ben White during timber. It has been interesting stuff about Kai Havards. He's responded to those Gabrielle J. Zeus comments as well about how he was sort of left in the dark a little bit by asked. I head of his move to Barcelona. Michael has been responding to those other bits and pieces as well. Talked about his Reconzer and the impact that he's made. I've got some comments and questions from you guys and we will look

Members league, right. Let's get going then, shall we. We will start with the latest team news. Now obviously Ben White has been a bit of focus on Ben following the win against Napoli in midweek. He was seeing kind of gingerly walking off that game. Obviously went off about 10 minutes to go and was seeing limp in down the tunnel. So given how much football Ben White has played this season, covered more ground than anyone else in this Arsenal team. So far this season Ben White and given his injury history record as well. There's obviously quite a bit of concern because during Timbers not yet ready to come back. But Mackel clear in it up says that he's fine. Says there's no issues. He was asked about the team news. Anything happening after Napoli said no, we're all good.

3:14Then was asked specifically on Ben the fact that we're seeing limp in it just said he's fine. Which if you take that face value, which you can't always do when it comes to Micka Latetta in injuries, that is fairly positive news because I think LeBenn will get the week off next week. He won't play against tips which in the car about Cup. But I think it's going to be mass mass changes. Probably 11 changes in that game. So if you can get through against Sunland, then have a nice week break until next until bright in the weekend after then that will be a that will be a bonus in terms of just the sort of the setup and the team and the balance having Ben White at right back and not having to shuffle your pack and potentially play cons or right back. It could be very handy. Again, Sunland. So he says he's fine when it comes to Ben White on Moscaera. Mackel said he's doing really well. Let's see if he can get back for this game or the next one. It will be around that time. So again, if you take that on face value, then I mean, I'll be very surprised if he's available for tomorrow night. But hopefully for for bright in the following week he can be and that's a that that will be a bonus. Obviously after that's the

4:14international break. So we shall see. International break is already looming last three week long. International break we've got coming up a super international break. So on Jury and Timber who obviously went over to Nackelie was part of the traveling squad but wasn't part of the matchday squad. Mackel said let's see. We have another training session today. He's been doing really well. He's been training with us now for a few days and he looks to be in good shape. I wonder if I'll just look. I don't know. I think maybe the Ipswich game. I've always felt that's probably the game that Timber is going to come back. A fact that they flew him over to Nackelie and then he wasn't even included in the matchday squad. It feels like they're just they're not willing to take a risk on him. It makes you wonder what was the point and even fly him out to Naples to be honest. But you just don't want to take any risk especially if there's an international break coming up. I can't imagine for the life of me that the Netherlands would would call him up for that squad. If you're asking all you probably don't want that to happen. I don't know. Maybe

5:18it could be a good thing. You go over there and get some minutes with your national team. But with the international break coming up you probably don't want to take any risk and it always feels like that Ipswich game is the main one for Jury and Timber as much as we're probably all desperate to see him back. I can understand why I asked him to take things very very carefully when it comes to him. So that's the latest team news ahead of that game against Sunlin from McElwitt's press conference today. Ben White, fine, he's okay, Moscairah, probably doubtful but back very soon during Timber. They'll make a decision after today's training session. Obviously no Williams-Leber. He's still out long term. Right, let's just talk about this, Chen Xiaoyah. I thought this was quite interesting from McElwitt's press conference. The comments that were made from Gabrielle J. Zeus this season, sorry this week ahead of Barcelona's game in the Champions League, which J. Zeus came up with a bench and scored in. But he spoke about Arsenal and his departure and how it all happened very very quickly without anyone sort of saying anything to him. Instead he was training with the first team and then suddenly bang, he was out,

6:20put in the bomb squad, no one told him anything. And then obviously the Barcelona move came about and he said he said yes to Barcelona straight away because he didn't know what was happening in the last week. Suddenly he'd been taken away from training with the rest of the squad without any sort of communication. So McElwitt was asked about that by Tom Canson and this is what he had to say about it. He said I'm very surprised at the comments to be fair especially because with Gabby I had an individual talk in the dressing room. I don't know what words were said, I presume by him in the interview, he said it's fine. But the words that we use for each other, it was all about gratitude. So I don't know but it's okay. Sometimes I understand that when you have to deliver bad news or news that people don't expect that those things are reactive, somebody has to be there, somebody has to be there to back up. If I have to be, I have to be and I understand. What's important is normally what happens three months later, six months later, when Trosside comes in, he's in the dressing room with all of us, the atmosphere and the relationship you have.

7:22Thanks God so far with all the players that have left at some point their relationship has been really good. I hope that's the case. So interesting, I think from McElwitt there, sort of basically denying what Gabrielle Jesus said. So there was clear communication or individual communication between us too, exactly when that chat happened, who knows whether that was before the, he was left out the training group or after, we'll probably never know. But McElwitt certainly hoping that you know those relationships have not been damaged by the way that both Gabby's to be fair have left the club and he does point to the fact that Trosside you know comes back, he's in the changing room that we care and everyone's happy, everyone's up and normally they do have a fairly good relationship, sort of former players when they when they leave Arsenal, I'm thinking it back in McElwitt's time, maybe there's been some that have gone that you can't imagine they're going to be walking into the dressing room at any point like someone like a Matteo Glandese for example. But then you compare it to a granite shackle, someone like that where they're very very good terms in terms of the left. It's very hard isn't it? You can't keep everyone happy when you leave and McElwitt is right when you point to some at some point, some conversations, some decisions,

8:28players aren't going to agree with and this sort of initial reaction is probably going to be a bit of a surprise anger frustration however you want to call it but over time over one two three four months, you know, players can look back on it and see it for what it is, football can be a bit of a doggy dog world, you do have to take tough decisions that no everyone agrees with, but maybe, we've all said that Arsenal need to get a bit tougher when it comes to selling and maybe they did that this summer and you know there has been, it did upset a few people, you know, I felt fairly uncomfortable especially with a Gabriel Marcinnellese sort of exit was initially handled especially around the sort of Galatasaray stuff but I don't think it's anyone can really argue it was a good move for Arsenal because I think it is, they got good money for a player that they needed to move on or wanted to try and move on but hopefully I'd love to see especially Martinelli, I'd love to see him come back and get a bit of a moment. Still shame that Trossard didn't come out, you know, he's gone into the change room there, McElwitt said, it's still a shame I think that he didn't come out and get a bit of a goodbye at the weekend when he was there for the Chelsea game, but yeah,

9:29interesting stuff I thought from from McElwitt on Gabriel J. Zooz, I also thought he spoke very he spoke very well on Kai Habers, he's obviously been in fantastic form, he's going to get a lot of attention at the moment, you'd imagine he's going to come back into the team for tomorrow's trip to Sunlin, but Moose in Abraham has asked him about sort of Kai Habers his best position and this sort of thing, you know, it's been asked a lot of times before obviously, but I thought his answer was quite interesting because he can't, it's hard to say what Kai Habers his best position is, I mean you would say number nine, as here I honestly know, we play best as a striker, we've seen him in field, it's not as good when he plays when he feels the striker is that, but then when you'd actually look at the position he plays when he plays as a striker, he's not an out and out nine, is completely different, it's not what we used to see him from a traditional number nine, an Alan Shira, Victor Yokare, those type of, you know, out and out proper number nine, so Michele when he was asked about the best position, this is where I had to say, guessing is for game shows, not your business. 11:35quality, he understands the game, he's five, ten seconds ahead, he knows what's happening, he doesn't need to think about it, he just acts and it makes the people around him better, which is another massive quality. On top of that he's scoring goals, producing chances, he's outstanding, and he's in a great emotional state at the moment, when asked if his best position, habits, his best position can kind of change game by game depending on the system, the opponent, anything like that in terms of who Arsenal come up against. Amicals, it can, yes, because you can play as a nine, but what do you do when you play as a nine? What's your role with and without the ball? It's a lot of things, a position on the pitch, when you put it on the tactics board, you would probably put him the nine in the centre, but then what do you do, whether it's a set piece of transition moment, a high press, when the goalkeeper is right or left footed, there are a lot of factors that are going to take that space and his initial position to a different dimension. When he talks about habits, I think when someone says to me what is Chi habits his best attribute, it's not finishing, we know that, he's a decent finisher and his numbers actually do suggest

12:36it to a decent finish of the spike. There's always the odd game where Chi habits where he has an absolute stinker in front of a goal, we can always remember that many are in the FA Cup, for example, a couple of seasons ago or last season, whenever that was, that was two seasons ago, I think. You can always have those ones, new castles when the carabell cups, so we final first leg in the similar season, in the same season I think it was, there's just odd game where habits just completely has a nightmare when it comes to finishing and then his finishing becomes a focus. So when you talk about what is biggest strength is, it is his intelligence. That is what makes Chi habits such a good player. In my eyes and clearly, Michelin, I'll tell you his mind, that the fact that that intelligence, the way he plays the game, the runs he makes, the way he occupies space, all that sort of stuff makes everyone around him better. He makes his whole better team. When Chi habits his playing and he's playing well, Arsenal or better team, there's absolutely no doubt about that. And that is because of his football intelligence and because it brings out of other players around him, the link up play, all of it. It just makes Arsenal a better team. So I thought it was a really good response from Michel. I wasn't just your normal

13:36typical response when I was, what's his best position? I thought I was a thoughtful one and it certainly summed up how I sort of feel about Chi, who you think is certainly going to come back into the team for tomorrow, sort of focusing on that team a little bit in terms of what Michel's going to do. I think there's, you know, we saw the four changes against Napoli. I'll do my predicted 11 in tomorrow's preview show obviously in the morning. As usual, you want to get involved in that show. Give me your thoughts on what the 11 should be, who should start, who should come out the team, give me the 11s you think the kill go for anything like that. Just get down into the comments and and leave them and I'll pull seven of them together and get them included in the show in the morning. But there were four changes against Napoli. I would expect all four of those players to come back into the team. You know, Chi habits is going to start. I'd be stunned if he doesn't. Christos Solis, I think, comes back in and starts on the left hand side. I think the interesting one is what happens in the field. Is it, do you just bring Miles Lewis Kelly back into the team after he was rested against Napoli after such a good start to season or is this the game that we may be see Bruno, for example, get his first start. It was Merino got the start against Napoli. I don't

14:39think that's going to happen. I think Merino will come out the team. So it's just a case of do you play Bruno, do you play Miles? Does he many comments you're thinking for it? Who is it? He's going to partner Declan Rice in the midfield against Sunlin. I think that's probably the one decision that I wouldn't be totally clear of in my head when I do my predicted 11 tomorrow, wouldn't be 100% certainty what he's going to do. Elsewhere, I think Califuri comes back in as a team. He plays at left back. So it's just that midfield position that I think is maybe the one that I don't really have too much certainty about. I would think it's probably going to be Miles because I'm not sure they they'd deem Bruno 100% fit and ready yet to start. I think he's going to want to get Bruno into the team as quickly as possible. But I think probably right now I'd sway towards Miles coming in to that midfield. So we'll have to wait and see you, buddy. Yeah, obviously I think Kai Habetz will certainly come in and so will Christos Solis. Conzer will continue at the back. If Ben White is fit, then Conzer will start at center back. If Ben White misses out, if there is some sort of doubt over him, Michele's just playing a bit of a his usual injury game today. Then maybe

15:44you have to move Conzer over to right back and potentially play in capi a center back with Gabrielle and Califuri at left back. Michele was asked about Conzer actually in the press conference. He was asking how about the way he settled in and how smoothly he's adapted and the performance he's putting in all that sort of stuff. And he said he surprised, but how well he settled in. And Michele said, well, it's certainly something to admire because it's not easy at all. And you should not take it for granted. But after talking to a lot of people that have worked with whether they're staff members or players, I already had a sense of the way everybody was talking about him that he's a person who is great at gathering people together. He has a real personality, a lot of leadership skills. And he saw that first day, he just trained the way he was talking, the way he was presenting himself. It was very impressive and so far. He's done a really good job. And he certainly has done. He's there. I look like he's been here for years, every Conzer. And you'd want him to continue at center back for this game against Sunlis. This is a tough way. I mean, it's the game that Arsenal dropped points in last season. It's going to eight o'clock. I'll come to

16:47the light, stadium a light sat day night. This is going to be a really, really tough game for Arsenal. I mean, no mistake about it. They're going to have to be at the very, very best to get maximum points from this. It's going to be times in this game when they're going to have to suffer and they're going to, you know, the crowd are going to be up and Sunland are going to be on it. So Arsenal need to play as well as they possibly can. And I think for a balanced point of view, you definitely want to keep comes the next to Gabrielle at center back. And you definitely want Ben White to stay at right back and continue that sort of the link up play and that everything that we've seen down the right hand side from Arsenal so far this season. So yeah, it'd be very handy. It's been very impressive, Conzer. So far, Arsenal really, really impressive. And I think it's cross. You can continue that tomorrow. Right. Let's go through a few questions now, shall we? Before we wrap this one up for today, Tim, first of all, was going to touch on the discord. Thank you very much, Tim. You said, won't somebody think of Nicholas Yover? He has not pocketed a set piece bonus since May the 24th and the man may well have the mortgage car payments and a family to feed. We all know that. Do you think the new directive on challenging goalkeepers has taken the screen away from the routines or are we scoring

17:51enough from open play that Yover simply has not needed to unpack the good ones yet? I don't know because I think we could have scored a fair few from set pieces already this season. I think we've been really unlucky more than once from set piece routines. Obviously, I had the goal that was just allowed against Chelsea the other day. That was a set piece that came in. We had the short corner, the short free kick that was really, really well constructed. The Califury sort of missed his kick on and that led to the big sort of rumble where Gabrielle ended up booting Martin Es in the face. Again, that was a set piece. We had a really good set piece short corner against Coventry, where Solis had one cleared off the line in that first half as well. So I think we're seeing a lot more sort of short corners. We saw that towards the end of last season with Arsenal as well. It was clearly something they were working on a lot, not just putting it in to the mix. It's also been quite interesting against Napoli and against Chelsea. Both of those two teams at times sort of left three or four players up the pitch as well and left a sort of extra space in the in the penalty era. So maybe teams are playing a little bit differently. But I do think they've been clearly working on a lot of stuff set piecewise and they could easily, easily scored three or

18:54four goals from set pieces this season. So I just think it's a way it's kind of going at the moment, but I'm sure Nicholas will be all right. I think he's probably saved up enough in bonus payments from last season to be able to to cover that mortgage for a while. So I'm sure he's not too worried when he sits down and he is conflicts in the morning before training. We've got one from Lara now from Hawaii. Very nice. I hope you have a great time over there until Saturday when you come in back to Ireland. Lara says, anyway, I've been loving, I've been loving all the love for cons. All the praises are actually deserved, but I've been thinking how much praise does the boss deserve for either spot in the talent or unlocking this potential ready on both. 19:54far more disappointed, far more gutted, the cons are gone, the Morgan Rodgers have gone. But you've seen a lot of Villa fans at the moment. So social media sort of cropping up on my feet, getting retweets and stuff like that, saying, why is everyone praising cons for doing exactly what he's been doing for us the last three or four years? Just no one notices when it's asked in Villa, when it's asked, or someone, you know, everyone sort of praise it to the Hill. So I don't know. I don't really think MacKale really can't really deserve praise MacKale for spot in the talent of cons. I think it was pretty, you know, it's an English, it's a starting thing, it's an international. So I think maybe we just, maybe his performance since for Villa just went a little bit under the radar from an Arsenal fans point of view. And why, why wouldn't they? Because let's face it, we don't sit down and watch Villa week and week out. But when you talk to Ashton Villa fans who do exactly that, they'll absolutely tell you what cons are is produced in his first two games for Arsenal. It's exactly what he's been producing. Ashton Villa for the last few seasons. I go on from Henry now, he says, I don't think we can take Ben White out the squad for Saturday. He can be rotated for the Carabell Cup. Then he has to play Brighton and assume he doesn't get caught up for England. That's his break.

20:58Risking the balance by dropping Rice to right back or starting. And I'm fit, my skater or a turn in Ben White. No, but you know, he should be on the minute on a minute restriction. But definitely Ben White starts. Yes, he I agree with that. I think especially given the fact he's not going to play against tipswich. So as long as MacKale's right and he's saying he's fine and there is no, there is no issue there. Then I think you play Ben White again, because I don't, I don't want to disrupt that balance. And like you said, I don't want to see Ben, I don't want to see Declan Rice playing at right back. I absolutely don't want to see that. I don't really want to see Con's the plan at right back and then mucking up that sense of partnership and I'm going to bring him Cape Anna and two left footed centerbacks playing together. In the back line, I just much rather just see Ben White. Then he has a week off at a Brighton. You can give him a couple of days off. It doesn't even have to travel to Brighton. You know, it's clearly going to be loads and loads of changes there. And then you plan against Brighton. And did I say Brighton, I switch, I'm in midweek. And then if you plan against Brighton at a weekend, then yeah, then he has his break during the International Break. If he doesn't get called up by England, which he might, to be fair, he might well get called up by England, because as far as I'll wear Thomas Tuckles, very keen to actually

22:00take him to the World Cup before the injury. So we'll see, I can't believe we're talking about an International Break already.
