RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays OFFENSE FALLS FLAT in a loss to the Baltimore Orioles

The Tampa Bay Rays drop the last game of the series to the Orioles 5-1. The Rays offense could not muster much of anything in this game. The Rays just got 5 hits on the day and only got a runner into scoring position one time in the 1st inning. The Rays had 5 123 innings as for the first time his road trip the offense struggled to put on consistent pressure. Brandon Lowe would get the Rays on the board with a solo home run in the 9th inning. That Home Run extended his hitting streak to 16. Taj Bradley got the start for the Rays and pitched better than his stat line showed. He went 5.1 IP but gave up 8 hits and 5 runs. 2 of those 5 runs came when the Rays went to the bullpen in the 6th inning. The Rays still finish the roadtrip with a winning record of 4-2. The Rays will head back home for the final time before the All-Star break to face the A's starting tomorrow night.
