Welcome everybody to AfterDark with Robin Andrew with Medical in America out louds. We're so happy you guys joined us once again tonight. Say I would say please share the show on social media with your friends. We appreciate that a great deal and Robin I'll try and reshare your share if we see it boasted. We've got a lot to talk about tonight. We're coming up on the anniversary of the tragic death of Charlie Kirk, what a surreal moment that was. I remember being, I was out on vacation, Robert texts me, Charlie Kirk got shot and I was totally shocked and I just got back from David at sight in some theater, great play.
Say I was Rob, I said, oh, is the okay. And Rob said he's dead. I was just completely taken back, like totally shocked and saddened that this young life was taken. You remember them aftermath, republicans were united and coming together, calling out the left and how vicious and violent they are. Unfortunately, things have taken a turn since then where it's become a divisive issue. But in the aftermath of its death, it seemed like conservatives were very disappointed and heartbroken no matter where they ended up on the issue, whereas Democrats were celebrating it right after it happened, which also showed another microcosm of society today where you've
got these sickos, teachers, doctors, lawyers celebrating the death of a man on social media and we saw many of them lose their job. So it was such an interesting time to be in America and it was a sad time that Charlie Kirk got murdered at such a young age. I think this guy could have been a future president possibly. He really had his finger on the poles on the issues and he had people listening to him, Rob. Andrew, you're so right, everything that you just said in your intro, I want to thank all of our listeners for tuning in tonight. Stephanie, coming up on the anniversary of the assassination, Charlie Kirk, and we want to remember him, such a great patriot. And to have his lives snuffed away at the age of 31, it seems as though it happened like
years ago and like, this is not the first anniversary, but this is the first anniversary because we've been talking about this throughout the year and so much has changed since his death and we're getting ready for the trial of Tyler Robinson. At one point, as you said, people were all together like this can't happen, how did this happen? And everyone was on the same page and then somewhere along the way, people started branching out with these crazy conspiracy theories that he didn't do it. He's alive. He's here. He's alive. This person did it. That person did it. The whole Candace ointes saga. A lot of people fell for it. But I was always resolute in saying that, Tyler Perry is the guy. He's our guy. His dad turned him in. His dad is going to testify against him. It wasn't Israel. It wasn't all these other, this person, that person, we got the guy.
But still, there were those, and still some, who want to keep this thing going. They say, that's not the guy. The real person is out there somewhere. Similarly, there are individuals, as you mentioned, Andrew, that are celebrating this anniversary of the death of a man who was assassinated. They're celebrating. They can't wait to come out and celebrate. And I would say to everyone who conservative, Republicans don't even let that phase you, not that we would, move forward, because history will judge them harshly. I read on the internet that there was a woman in Bittenville, Arkansas, who desecrated at Charlie Kirk Memorial. While she lost her job, her house, income, now she thought she was doing something bald.
She thought, I'm going to do this and I'm going to be celebrated. Now she doesn't have anything. And there are so many others who are going to follow her lead thinking that we're going to be celebrated. Remember that two-bit comedian who held the head of Donald Trump up as if she had chopped his head off and she thought she was going to be celebrated. And the left turned on her. I'm surprised that they turned on her, but I guess they said, well, this is a little bit too far. But there have been others who've done the same thing. But they're waiting to celebrate the assassination of a patriot because they think that they're going to get at us. They're just going to make us so mad and then we're going to freak out. I sure. They're going to be some that are going to be mad. They're going to be something to support. I'm definitely disappointed. But see, that's their intent. That's what they want to do. But we can't let them get to us. Charlie Kirk was a patriot.
31 years old, leaving behind a wife and two young children. We can't forget about that. We don't want that to get lost in the weeds. We know the left wants us to forget about it the same way they want us to forget about 9-11, the 25th anniversary of 9-11. And so many young people are completely clueless about it. Andrew, clueless. If you want to ask them about 9-11, they can tell you anything about it. But you know what they do know about? Transgender issues, DEI, slavery. They know all about that. They know the different sexes, different genders, the pride flag. It's really sad that more kids are going to identify the pride flag as opposed to the American flag. Our kids in school knew all about it, but 9-11?
Nothing. Why is that? It's an indoctrination. And I've been calling this up for the longest. We have here in New York City, the mayor, opening up early childhood education for kids as youngest three. That is true. You had a lot of people rejoicing of this and hooray hooray hooray. Oh, child care because it's so expensive. And now I don't have to pay for it. I just enroll my kid in. You're enrolling your kid into an indoctrination camp. And I keep saying this over and over again. We're sounding the alarms about the university saying that we're keeping people are sending their kids to these Ivy League schools, only to have them turned out to be these indoctrinated individuals I can't think for themselves. And that's maybe the reason why a lot of people aren't looking at the harbors and the yells and they're looking at schools in the south. Because they're saying that this isn't worth it to send my kid off and then my kid becomes indoctrinated. And these are young and impressionable minds. We've also got to look at these early childhood educational centers because they're indoctrination
zones. What do you bet? They'll mention Charlie Kirk and they'll say he was a bad guy. Oh, he was a bad guy, but then they'll mention Iran. They'll say, why did we do this to Iran because of the colonizers? Who are the colonizers? The white men. They failed to realize that the airabs, the Muslims and the Africans colonized more people than the white men overseas. But they don't want to know about that. They only want to know about the evil white men. And Charlie Kirk is at the top. Yes, he spoke out against all this DEI stuff and this crazy culture, this corrupt culture that we're living in. Spoke out against man being able to have a baby. A man can't have a baby. He spoke out against it. He spoke out against this horrible culture in the black community and they said, oh, he's black people.
They want to say that the white man has more advantages than the black men. They think what advantages? It seems like the other way around because the black man goes out, kill people and then he's out of jail. All these excuses. So they're going to celebrate his death. Oh, we got rid of him. Not knowing that and doing so. The only thing they're doing is they're giving him more staying power. They're rising him up even more. Because the truth will come out. And people will ask, why are they having such a conibsure? Why are they freaking out? Over this one person. And I heard this bigot, Muslim bigot, a son, Piker trying to identify himself as a Charlie Kirk. Like, are you serious? Dude, you're a bigot. You're anti-Somite. You don't like blacks.
Why would you even want to put yourself at that level? And there's a sob Andrew here on the right that say, we're giving him too much staying power. We're mentioning him too much. No, we're not mentioning him enough. And how threat to democracy he is. We need to constantly mention this guy. He is no Charlie Kirk. You can't say, well, you guys had Charlie Kirk and we have him. Oh, Charlie Kirk is dead. You guys killed him. You assassinated him. We have not assassinated. No one has assassinated a son, Piker. No one's anyone thinking about assassinating him. What they are saying is that they should revolt his citizenship instead of an Arab country. But you know what? He wouldn't survive a month in an Arab country, Andrew. He wouldn't survive. He would not be able to survive the repressive laws that they have there. See here, he can like play around with them. He's in. He can do this. He can do that. He can have all the sex with all these women. And he can do all this other stuff. But there you can't do it. Well, they can't do it. Hopefully they do behind the scene.
See, I know about this culture because I want to school with these people. He could continue to abuse his dog from. It's just unbelievable. So he's going to try to put himself up there. Just like Abdul El Sayy wants to put himself at the same level as Jesus Christ. Are you serious? And people are going to accept it. Christians are going to accept it. Even if Rico, Telefrico, they call it Telefrico, going to the Black churches. And Black pastors are like welcoming him in saying, oh, yeah, come in. Yeah, oh, yeah. We're not endorsing him. Yeah, but bringing him in to fellowship. That is a sign of endorsement of Abdul's, I'll say, having problems with the Black vote there, they're bringing him to the Black churches. Folks, you gotta wake up. Gotta wake up. Then here you had Charlie Kirk, who's speaking nothing but the truth, speaking about Christianity, and then people are turning their back on it. They turned their back on it. Christians won't even mention his name.
They keep some bad person, but they don't think he lived by it with the tennis of the Bible. That's it. You don't hear Al Sayy living by the tennis of the Bible or Hassan Piker? They detest the Bible. They trick you into thinking that they're the victims and that they're on their side, like Abdul Al Sayy constantly talking about reparations, reparations. Well, when are the Arabs, the Muslims are going to give reparations to the Africans and give reparations to them right now? But still continuously putting them in slavery. We had this gentleman on our show Simon Ding, who spoke about he was enslaved. What are they going to give them reparations? We see they know we throw a reparation to the black people, the black people, they'll jump on our side because Charlie Kirk, he said no reparations. Yeah, why? His ancestors didn't. Well, he personally had own slaves in order to do his ancestors just because he's why doesn't mean that he's guilty, but he said, most of the blame reparations and all these other people, what about the people who died in the
civil war who were fighting to free the slaves? And then they remember him bringing up a point. He said that you're always saying that whites enslaved you. He said, but last time I looked there, the same ones who liberated you. Fought a war to liberate you. See, the only one until one half of the story is he does the half that they'll tell it's schools. The colonizers, the colonizers, they came in and they enslaved the blacks. Charlie Kirk comes out and says, oh no, no, that happened, but who freed them? Who fought a war for them? Who tried to push silver rights? Look at the record. Republicans went on the record voting for them. Democrats didn't. I mean, see, that's the history that's not taught and that's the history that Charlie Kirk kept speaking about, but no, no, no, we can't. We don't want that out there. He can't hear about that. We don't want these young people to hear about it and they don't know about it, Andrew.
The same way they don't know about 9-11. So many young people know nothing about it. Is he that's what the Hunts on Pekras want? Because remember, Hunts on Pekras said that America deserved 9-11. He deserved it and he laughed about it. So how can you sit in the room with this man? And then I say that he's our Charlie Kirk. Oh no, he isn't Charlie Kirk. I didn't see him. Was she being the folks that blew down the Twin Towers? Called it out. Then you have Mayor Mendommi, the Mayor here in New York City. I'm going to sit right up on the platform with the victims of 9-11 with the families at lost loved ones. And it's a lot, it's slapping the face really, Andrew. Because he's going back to the area that they destroyed. And it's just assigned to all of them. They'll sit in their mosque and they'll laugh and say, I honestly, we got him now. We're right up here. Right where we committed the damage. We're right here. And he knows it.
He knows it as well. And his wife, where will his wife be when this is taking place? Oh, she's attending some type of retreat and I think Syria, some Muslim retreat. I guess how to blow up the next Twin Towers. No one wants to call her out about it. Because if we call it out about it, we'll be Islamophobia. And see, they created that word just to scare people. Definitely scare white people, especially the white liberals. But when it comes to Charlie Kirk, oh, killing, we don't care about Charlie Kirk. Who is Charlie Kirk? Charlie Kirk is a nobody. He's dead now. What if he said the same thing about Martin Luther King? Because now we're finding out that he wasn't the nicest person. We're finding out that his, the content of this character was nothing to be desired. But still he's given respect, still respects him. Still, Trump has the bust of him in the White House.
While Democrats are trying to take down the bust of him and statues of everyone that they said that they don't like. Now, what if we would have lived by that gold point? They say, well, Martin Luther King, look at how he abused women. We've got to take that bust down. We don't need it up there. Take it down. He's never said that that. And then the joys Floyd statues all over. Are you serious? And then Charlie Kirk, go take it down. Why? We all because he said that it blacks down to some different reparations. Really? So in this anniversary of Charlie Kirk, let's remember the good that he did. All the positive. Yeah. And all the naysayers out there, we can't fall for it, Andrew. We are back here on the after dark with Robin Andrews, continuing our discussion. On the late great Charlie Kirk tonight, the one year anniversary of his tragic passing on September, all of a sudden it was coming right up. Which we talked about at the beginning of the show.
It was kind of a unified moment for the right after his passing. Unfortunately, it's really went off the rails with Candace Owens. And her conspiracy theories about what happened to Charlie Kirk. And that's very unfortunate and sad that that has happened. And it's became somewhat of a divisive issue. I don't ever have a problem with conspiracy theories, but they've just gotten really nasty and some of the attacks, Candace and some of their supporters. And I think it's without any real merit to get this kind of nasty with the attacks. And I told Rob after Charlie passed away, I wish Eric Kirk did not take the public role of the leader of Turning Point USA. And like I said, she should have kind of maybe stayed behind the curtain,
but she decided to take a more public stance. And I do disagree with that still to this day. I think that was a mistake because she's been in the public eye. And it's made her somewhat of a polarizing character when perhaps she shouldn't be as after Charlie's death. That big dome stadium celebration of life they had for Charlie was just incredible. Everybody showed up. It was just a massive crowd. That was a great night for sure. Remembering Charlie Kirk. Rob, what are your thoughts on what we've seen in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's unfortunate passing? You know, Andrew, when I think about it, I differ from you as far as her coming out. I think that was her way of grieving, but I think all of the attacks against her by the left were
definitely and still on the right definitely unwarranted. As you mentioned, it seemed as if Candace always was leading the path with all of her conspiracy theory saying that she had the truth. She knew what was going on and she wanted to meet with Erica. And I felt really bad for Erica having to meet with this deranged woman. I think that when you look at history and when you look at the relationship that she had with Charlie Kirk, I do believe that Candace Orange thought that she was going to be the Miss Kirk as opposed to Erica. I think that she had the hots for him. He did not reciprocate, but truly there was a friendship that was there. And I would encourage you all to go and look at some of the tapes of he and Candace Orange. There was a definitely a friendship there. So I don't know how she could have turned her back on that friendship and go after his wife the
way she did to the point that Erica agreed to meet with her and that we thought that there was going to quiet the waters and it did and Candace came back out with additional craziness. And I think this is just for herself. She was doing this for her own gratification to put money and her own pocket. I get it. You want money, but that's not the way to do it. This is your friend's grieving wife. And if that's all you've got, then you always had it in for him. If since he didn't reciprocate the affection that you want it, you came out striking against him. I mean, I just can't. I'm like, how can a person do that? And she kept it going, Andrew, for quite some time. I mean, on her podcast, or stay tuned, and I'm going to say this and stay tuned. It was like hard course. She kept pushing and pushing and we came on the show so many times that I kept saying, a home Erica does not meet with her. I hope she doesn't meet with her.
But again, this is a grieving woman, a grieving widow with two kids. And I guess she did what she felt she had to do. We all grieve differently. And when someone close to you dies, we can easily say, well, I would do this. I would do that until it happens to you. And then you start grieving and then you see, wow, I never thought it was like this. But the way Candace behaved and naming so many different people, like she said that Tyler Robinson wasn't the killer. And it was a someone else and she had all the fox and stay tuned. And Andrew, did she ever produce the fox? No, as far as I know, no. It was like day after day, stay tuned. And people kept going down her rabbit hole and then I even heard someone even to say once, well, Charlie said to follow the fox, to never believe anything, to always, what was it? To always question, right?
Always question what's going on. Oh my God, he said that, but I don't think he'd meant what Candace was doing and what she was saying. But she kept taking people down the rabbit hole, divided, concurrent, divide. And I always said that and I said the same thing about what's his name, Tucker Carlson, that it was always there in turn. It still is, I think, to a degree to try to become kingbakers and try to siphon mega away so that they could annoy a king. Go ahead, Andrew. I like you said, I like a good conspiracy theory, but no reason to be nasty. Doing it like a few, one I think that Tyler Robinson didn't kill Charlie Kirk, that's fine. Aaron title to believe what you want to believe, but no reason to attack, Erica Kirk, who's not a government official. You know, it could not possibly be in any way connected to this. I mean, it's just a guy's wife.
No reason to attack her because of that. But I think that she felt that that was the she being Candace, that was the only way she was going to get attention. Right. I mean, she went completely out. I mean, remember, she did the same thing with the president of France's wife, McCrone. I don't know how that's been resolved because they counter sued her. And she and I said that that would be a disaster because now she's going to have to McCrone, I'd have to submit to all these tests to invalidate what always is saying. So that has gone nowhere. I don't know what's happening. But when she was saying about Erica Kirk and that maybe there was a she was having an affair, it got really nasty. And I don't see how a person, if that is your friend, how can you go and defame him, defame his name, but he's not around to defend himself. And that he told me this and I got these emails and she did produce some emails that are
questionable. And that's where she was able to grab people's attention because when you read them, you're like, well, maybe he was saying this. Well, no, there was probably another email that he was saying something else, but she never provided it. So people went down that rabbit hole with her, which to me was just nasty. You don't do that. It's just like, we already have folks on the left that don't like him. We already have folks on the left that are demonizing him. We already have folks on the left that are saying things that should not be said. And then for seemingly one of ours, I would say to do the same thing. It's like what gives? Seriously, what gives Candace? When is enough enough? But as far as President of Trump goes, or who do you mean demonizing Candace, Erica Kirk or I'm saying, I'm saying Candace demonizing or good friend? Oh, okay. I got you. Yeah. Just say all these negative things about it.
Right. Yeah. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. Yeah, I completely agree. It just like it was like the one issue she got totally obsessed with and has been for the past year. It's really, really unfortunate that it's come to this. But we're in the middle of the Tyler Robinson trial. And it doesn't look like it's been going well for Tyler Robinson's defense this far. Well, no, my only concern is and I want this, and it seemed as a build, like I said, this has been going on since forever. And the man was only killed a year ago. The they actually want to say that there wasn't enough evidence to take this to trial. And the fact that it lasted so long because this happens all the time. You will have a turn to say, there's not enough evidence to take this to trial. But of course, usually the judge would shoot it
down and say, are you serious? We're taking this to trial. There isn't enough evidence. But in this case, this judge played it, let it play all out. And then you have this grieving widow and his mom, not just the widow, but the mom. Try the Kirk's mom. Haven't to sit through all this. Now again, the dad, Tyler Perry's dad turned to men and said he did it. He told me he did it. I believe him. I'm going to testify for the prosecutor. And then you have someone like Candace always saying, oh, no, he didn't do it. I've got proof that he didn't do it. Like, what proof? Do you live with him? Are you serious? But then, and so this judge, and I guess the judge looked at this and said, look, I've got to make certain that I make this crystal clear. Beyond a reasonable doubt that a crime took place, a murder took place. My only concern is that because he laid it out so well the other day when he was saying, this is the reason why we're going to court that the defense could come back and say that he prejudiced any possible jurors by saying, this is what happened. And this
is the reason why we're going to court is that though to say he did it because I don't know if Tyler's defense is that he didn't do it. I think that said that he didn't do it. But they're not naming anyone else. There's just saying that he didn't do it. And the defense could definitely come back and say, well, you prejudiced any potential jurors when the judge came out and laid the case out. That for them to think that or have them to believe that he did it when an actuality he didn't do it. But like I said, you have the dad who's testifying, oh, yeah, that was my son. The son believed that he was shocking to me if he didn't get it. I'm sorry. It'd be pretty shocking to me if he didn't get convicted. Yeah. Yeah. And I think that he probably will. But then I think that the the defense will probably try to want an appeal and say on the appeal, this is reason why because of what the judge said, the judge prejudiced any potential jurors because what people need to realize is that people
are watching and listening to this right now. They're yet to select a jury. So they have to select a jury from the folks in that area. And more than likely people have been glued in to the TV watching this. There might be some who haven't have not been watching this who do live up under a woodshed. There are some people who do live under a woodshed. You want to ask people with the president as they would say Barack Obama is like, oh, my God, you do realize I was 16 years ago. So there are some people. But I think with this, I think people have been pretty tuned in. But I do believe that that could happen. No, it might not. But if I were representing him, I would definitely use that and say, I'm going to say that you prejudiced any potential jurors. And we want to mistrial. And they could say it now and just say that we don't want the trial held in this county. We want it held somewhere else. But no matter where you go, I'm sure that people have been tapped into this story because Charlie Kirk was a,
he was an influential person. And I don't think people really the Democrats realized it. They realized it after the election. They realized it. Oh, powerful. He was in getting the message across. He was powerful and getting young people to vote for Trump. Powerful in going to these college campuses and debating. I mean, he was all about debating and he was good at it. He was very good at it. And I think the Democrats realized it. It's like, oh, my God, this guy. So now they're trying to throw a Hassan Piker who is a bigot, anti-Somite. It is not going to fly. But for some of the clueless folks out there, maybe he will. I don't think we realized the glue that Charlie was holding together a lot of this coalition that kind of came unraveled since after he left. Because he could, like Rob said, he
could speak to anybody. He debated all the points. And he, you know, really kept things from getting divisive and things like that. And I think even now that Charlie's gone, you almost see how much of a factor he was in the Republican Party before his unfortunate passing. He was like the glue, like I said, that kept the base together. He was very good at the online stuff going on the podcast, things like that. Maybe some of the older Republicans couldn't compete with. He was able to connect to the younger generation and then the older generation that respected young people coming out. He was able to connect with them as well. And like you said, he was a glue, he was a force that was not recognized because he did a lot of stuff behind the scene. And then once the assassination happened, people started to realize, wow, he was a force.
You can agree to disagree with him. But people who debated him, they all said he was very respectful. And he listened. And I watched some of the debates that he had with the different on college campuses. And I took my hat off to him. I thought, wow, I don't know if I could be so calm and cool and have these people with their crazy ideas saying, I think there was one person saying, well, how do you know that I'm not a woman? And I can be a woman. And he's like, but you're not. You're not. A woman is an adult female. And he was respectful with it. Like I said, the whole issue with reparations. And why can't we get reparations? So why don't we have reparations from Africa? Why aren't they giving Blacks reparations? And he was just stonting them and people, well, well, no, I don't want to hear this. You're changing the topic. I want this. And that's what gets me when people refuse to accept the fact that their argument has no foundation and they still want to keep going at you. But he was cool. Calm. Cool. He was a cucumber, as they say. And
would have those conversations. So no, people didn't realize it until after. But Democrats did. And that's the reason why you had all these crazy school teachers that teach our kids. Celebrating when the man was killed. I mean, literally going up and I didn't agree with it, but you know, but free speech and do whatever you want to do. But it was just tasteless. I'm like, you want to be over our kids and you're doing this. How about not having an opinion or keeping your opinion to yourself as the late great Dolly Parton said, I have an opinion, but I'm keeping it to myself. I'm an entertainer. Michael Jordan said the same thing. Teachers to say the same thing. I have an opinion. However, I'm keeping it to myself. We're just going to continue our conversation about Charlie Kirk and the anniversary of the assassination, not celebrating the assassination on his life, but definitely celebrating the life of Charlie Kirk. Life that was cut so short and gone too soon,
at the age of 31, it had so much promise and so much in store for him. And for this to be taken away from him by an individual who had been radicalized by the left, the style of Robinson. And without a doubt, he was radicalized. I mean, you look at some of the ratings and some of the things that he said, his whole intent was to kill Charlie Kirk and he felt that he needed to. And you know why? Because that's what Democrats are doing. When you have someone who is being indoctrinated that this person shouldn't be here meeting Charlie Kirk. Look at what happened to President Trump, the assassination attempts on his life. Believe them, they want him dead. They want him dead. That first assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania had he not turned his head, he would be dead right now. And do you hear them talking about it? Them being the Democrats? No. Once it happened, they said that all that was fake. Oh, no, no, no, it's not real. And then for him to go
to his convention, and he didn't mention it hardly. Even to this day, he'll talk about, but not like most people would. You would think that he would try to use that for a political capital. See, that's how you know how sincere this man is. That's how you know that he knew that wait a minute. I could have been gone there. They want me dead. Maybe he'll write about it in a book. Now, he speaks, you know, here and there about it, but the in depth for us to really know his emotions, how he felt. And then after that assassination attempt, there was another assassination attempt, and then followed by another, and then one most recently in April. I mean, think about it. They want this man dead by any means necessary. They don't care. I'm going to go in a lemon and say, if they were to kill him, God forbid, tonight, they would say, okay, he's gone. Very little coverage.
And then they would move on because then they would feel got him mission accomplished. Do you see anyone on the left coming out against this guy, Tyler Robinson, or even the dead guy? It's all quiet as it's kept. Barack Obama, not one assassination attempt on his life by the KKK or any of these so-called white supremacists. Why is that Andrew? Since America is so racist, why wouldn't they go out to the first black president? At least make take a shot at it, at least make an attempt to take them out. Not one story, name one story, not one dead gum story. Now, I'm sure that there are some of the records and the files that they're holding up, but it doesn't meet them sharing with us, so we don't know about it. Think about this. America is so racist, full of white supremacists, and not a one, try to take up Barack Obama openly, but for Donald Trump? Huh?
Three or four. Butler, Florida. Most recently in April, White House correspondent is dinner. This is openly being done. And isn't that interesting we haven't heard about the guy in April, the White House correspondent is dinner? Where is he? Where are they hiding the story? They don't care. They being the media. They don't care. Democrats don't care. Just one less Republican who's trying to get the agenda across that we don't have to worry about. You know that the person is significant when they're trying to take their lives. They took out Abraham Lincoln to try to take out Ronald Reagan. But they took out JFK. I guess of what they thought he might be able to do, but Barack Obama? No. That's how you know how consequential a president is. The attempts, unfortunately, though, there's nothing to celebrate.
Attempts on his life. And there's still attempts on his life. Now we heard all the stories. They're going to try to kill Barack Obama. They're going to do this to Barack Obama. They're going to do that. But did they do it? No. Look on the right. Steve Scalisi, Lee Zeldin, trying to take them out. Scott Besson, Brett Kavanaugh, Supreme Court Justices. I mean, just look at the facts. It speaks for itself, Andrew. I mean, we're not making this up. How can we make it up? It's right out there, but laid out the front and center. Can you name a Democrat now? There was a Democrat in, was it Minnesota in Tim Walsh's state? The Holtz woman that they killed. She was a Democrat. And why do they, why do they assassinate her?
Because she wanted border control. She was agreeing with Trump about border control. A little tidbit that Democrats try not to mention. Why is that? Why don't they mention it? Why are they keeping it quiet? Things that they don't want you to know about. When was the last time they tried to assassinate Democrat? Not that they should. But Republicans, we see it all the time, Andrew. Yeah, and I would say, was being so close to the midterms. It's kind of concerning the lack of action by the Congress congressional, Congressional Republicans and Senate Republicans. They've got two more months of having total control. They should be passing stuff left right in the center and seems like they're taking more time off than getting things done.
After the midterms, if we're able to keep the Senate, the House has always been kind of unlike it seems unlikely. And at these election years, like Rob's talked about, it's very common for the balance of power to flip, flip, flip. The Senate Republicans have a much better chance of keeping. But if they do keep it after these midterms, I think we got to look at replacing John Thune with some, that's going to get some things done. And MAGA Mike Johnson, I gave him the benefit of the doubt for a long time, but he's not hitting expectations either, Rob. He's not hitting expectations, but who would want that job? That's the thing. Who would want it? I think a lot of people would want to be the least the Senate, but very few would want to, on the Republican side, be speak of the House. Now, you got a lot of Democrats who want that position because they're just going to use it to
glorify themselves, but something else that you said, two or two things, they're not going to get anything done, anything passed. I'm hoping that they're waiting to the last minute, but when they look at things, they're not. And you have all this leeway, like Thune, he's not going to allow recess appointments. I mean, just stupid things. I'm thinking, why wouldn't you do it? Yes. And I don't want to hear that we respect, we respect the Senate. Still playing by the old rules. Right. I mean, that's what I'm not getting. I might, don't you see that they're gunning after you and they're hoping that you're going to continue continuing to play by the old rule? And that's the reason why when it's time for elections, mega is like get these people out of here because they don't realize it. Democrats are playing by a completely different rule book. They will make Puerto Rico a state. They will make DC a state. They don't care. They will pack the court. They don't care. It's all about power and keeping themselves in control. So while we're busy trying to, well, we want to make sure that we honor the legacy. They don't care about any of that. Like I said, if they're going to
go out and try to keep assassinating Republicans, do you actually think they're going to play fair on the house? Look at Eric Swahwell. They knew that the guy was banging a Russian, a Chinese spy, but they let him stay there. They don't care. We're finding out that COVID was a complete host. Dr. Fauci lied about all this stuff. We're finding out that there weren't malfeasies taking place with the election that people were voting who shouldn't be voting. And then you have people saying, oh, it was such a small amount. It doesn't matter. But when you take all those small amounts together, it does matter. Is the media covering it? No, not covering it. They don't care about it. Here's another thing. We've had the leaves of Mekowski, Susan Collins problem forever. You look at the Democrats, Kristen Cinema, Joe Mianchin. When they were voting in line, they got thrown out. Even John Federman, he's public enemy number one now. He's going to be in
for a tough re-election campaign when he recampains because the Democrats don't like the guy anymore. So when someone doesn't vote by party lines in the Democrats, they get rid of them. In the Republicans, we see our leaders like John Thune and Mitch McConnell did it. Just continue to put money into people like some Mekowski's primaries instead of backing somebody else around. Because they don't care. They will sit there. Remember, Mitch, we had this whole problem with Mitch McConnell. He was giving money to Lisa Mekowski, supposed to help Republicans who could have possibly won. He was only focusing on, oh my goodness, Lisa Mekowski is it, though, she deserves to be here. Even if she's not doing anything, she deserves to be here. No, you don't. That's what I don't get. You don't deserve to be there. Get some candidates who will be there. I look at Ken Paxson in Texas. Maybe he's not the ideal candidate. But as Ted Cruz say, these Republicans need to get over
themselves. He won. Let's get behind him. Let's help him get over the finish line. You see? Why don't we sit there? Go ahead. Oh, I was getting my touch off, but yeah, so I mean, seems like it's a pretty 50-50 race, what the polls are saying now. We've seen that in the past in Texas where they had to like be to work, was going to win us in it. See, he got dumped. Hopefully it'll be the same for Ken Paxson. But the Democrats once again think Texas is in play. But election night, it hasn't worked out like that for them so far. But definitely something to keep an eye on. And you can't take it for granted. It's heard that Texas has gotten a lot of Muslims. And we know there's a lot of illegals there. Maybe formerly illegals. A lot of them probably got citizenship under Biden. But so yeah, we'll see what happens in Texas with Ken Paxson. It's a pretty 50-50 race. But like I
said, that's what they told us about Bato Aurora, and he got dumped. Yeah, I don't know if I believe that. They're saying that it's 50-50. I think that Paxson is probably ahead, but they don't want to present that because people won't go get comfortable. They won't go out and vote. Calabrico does think that he is ahead. And I can't see how people, and I said this during the opening, how any Christian could vote for this guy. I mean, the guy is way out there with his ideas on gender and who God is non-binary and all this other crazy stuff. I can't see it. The same way with El Seid. I can't see that either. I'm not real familiar with Calabrico. Is he as bad as Bato Rorquan? Is he more of a moderate? He's worse. I mean, the things that he's come out and said about Christians and that God first, God is non-binary. God can be a man. God can be a woman. And is he another of those lawyers? And his fixation on children. Is that Christian? He's going to bed. He says he's Christian. Someone was asking him, when you go to bed at night,
what do you think about it? He said children. It's like, what? The guy is way out there. We see these are the candidates that Democrats are supporting. And like I said, I don't think enough people know about it. Like you were saying, you've ever heard a lot about him. I'm constantly tapped in and looking at this guy. This guy, they call him Calabrico because he is just at a freak. His beliefs, his ideas. He's, now he wants to try to be a macho man. He wants to say, he said, he's going to take all your guns. Now, I'd like to use my gun. Like really? See, these are the things that people don't know about. And I think Elon Musk just dropped 10 million in Texas, trying to help him win this race. Trump has a sitting on a watch us of 400 million, I think. I'm hoping that he will use some of that also. I believe Andrew, we could keep the Senate and we could possibly keep the House. If Republicans come together and get out there and vote, I think that there are some Republicans who are sitting there who
kind of want to lose the House because they know that there's going to be impeachment. They know that Trump won't be removed from office. But it's just their way of saying, ha ha, we got you. We don't have time for the gotcha games because too much is at stake. Like I said, they're after us. They want, there is a target on our backs. And I don't know if a lot of Republicans are accepting this reality. The Tom Tullis of the world, the John Corning's of the world, the Lisa Macausky's. I don't know if they're looking at this and saying, wait a minute. They don't like me either. But they're thinking, oh, they're going to let me slide. No, they're not. They don't like you. That is something that Trump deserves credit for, I think, is endorsing Ken Paxton, who is not the number one choice of the establishment, certainly. They think he's rougher around the edges, not as electable as who was at Tom Tullis that he ran against.
John Corning. John Corning, he had my father's John Corning, he ran the kids who'd been there forever and thought maybe he would be an easier route to the general election. But John Corning was a rhino. We got to get people with some America first values who want to clean up our country and in Ken Paxton was the much better option, even though he might be riskier on election night. I think Trump deserves credit for endorsing Paxton in that race. Let me say this. You're right. That's not to say that he is the best candidate out there, but he's a candidate that we're going to war with and we need to stick with him. You look at the Democrats. Look at some of their candidates. They're horrible. But I do believe Andrew that we could win this if Republicans come together. We need for our listeners to go out and vote, vote, vote, vote because if you have someone like the Democrats that are voting for an about Muslim who hates
America who doesn't believe in 9-11, who thinks that hey, you deserved it. Why wouldn't we want our candidates out there to go against them? I mean, you have people. You have Tucker Carlson said that he wouldn't vote for the person who's going against Abdul Said. I'm not going for my rogers. I wouldn't vote for him, but they put a gun to my head. Why would you say that? You know what the other side is? Even if you don't like him. So you're willing to say I'm just going to give everything away to this radical Muslim who doesn't like America, who does not like me, who's just pretending who wants to get into the house, get on the heel, I mean the Senate, and just destroy everything, and replace it with nothing. That's why I don't understand. And as I said, when we opened up talking about Charlie Kirk, the anniversary of his assassination, they don't care about it the same way they don't care about us. One less Republican is good for them. They don't care. So we've got to get it out there and we've got to hold the front. We've got to stand in line and make certain Andrew
that they don't come across. We've got to make certain we keep the house and the Senate in order to save our great country. And with that, you guys have listened to After Dark with Robin Andrew. We appreciate you guys tuning in once again on the America out loud. I heard radio channel. Stay tuned for some more talk radio on America out loud.
