Rightly Dividing: Apostolic Signs, the Kingdom Message, and the Church Age (Ep. 233)

In this episode of our Dispensational Truth series, we explore one of the most misunderstood subjects in Christianity: the difference between the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God—and why failing to distinguish them creates massive doctrinal confusion.

We examine how Jesus and John the Baptist preached the gospel of the kingdom, calling Israel to national repentance so they could receive their promised earthly kingdom. This helps explain why the Sermon on the Mount, apostolic miracles, and kingdom commands don’t always line up with how believers live today.

This lesson also explains why miraculous signs—healings, casting out demons, raising the dead—were never meant to be permanent fixtures of the church age. Instead, they served as divine credentials to authenticate the King and His kingdom offer to Israel. As Israel rejected Christ and the message shifted to the Gentiles, those signs faded—exactly as Scripture records in the book of Acts.

We also uncover why these signs will return during the Tribulation, when God resumes His direct dealings with Israel and the gospel of the kingdom is once again preached worldwide.
