What's good boys and girls?
Two for the extra on Wednesday, the 25th of March.
Hope you're well.
Let's get into the news.
Obviously, the biggest news in the last 24 hours
that Mo Salah is leaving the ripple at the end of the season.
And the BBC have looked into some of his options
though I talked about this on the day we read today.
My expectation is if he stays in Europe,
it would be to go to Italy.
I think Roma and Yvese are probably
the two standard options there.
But keep an eye on Napoli, for sure.
I also suggested maybe PSG if he wants to do the crack
at the Champions League and he's happy with a rotation role.
That could be something that he maybe looks at.
Buying potentially for the same reasons
that I'm not sure I see that one.
The MLS could be something that appeals to him for a certain.
So maybe that's one to watch.
And then I will see there is the option of Saudi.
I just feel like if he was going to go to Saudi Liverpool
and him probably had some sort of agreement already in place
that they'd get a fee and he'd move on.
And it would be fairly, you know, fairly mutual on that one.
Liverpool and Wales great.
John Toshak has sadly been diagnosed with dementia now.
I've talked with a few times.
There's a lot of players from Toshak's era
who have been diagnosed with dementia late in life.
Now he's 77.
So he is that bit older.
He's been, you know, he's been a legend of the game
both as a player.
And then as a manager with, you know, Real Madrid
and Real Saucidard, Bishiktas, Wales.
You know, he's one of the greats of the game.
His son, Cameron, who is a coach over in Thailand.
Formerly assistant manager, I think it leads.
He's come out and said is that has good days and bad days.
And you know, I think that's quite standard
with a dementia diagnosis.
Toshak was known for his proficiency in the air,
you know, just a big, powerful individual.
He overcame a bad dose of COVID-19, mixed with pneumonia
back in 2021.
I want to say it was, and he ended up in hospital.
But yeah, I mean, it could be in 2022 either.
But like, it's just very sad news.
It's very, very sad news.
Toshak in Keegan was an iconic pairing for Liverpool.
It was after St. John and Hunt.
It was like, that was the next great Liverpool pairing.
Then obviously it was, it was a dog leash and rush.
Then it was beardly and rushed.
Then it was Russian Fowler.
Then it was Fowler and Kali Moore.
Liverpool have always had these, you know,
these great front pairings there as good as a dog.
Three league titles, two UEFA cups,
a European cup and FA cup.
Like they were just fantastic together.
That's very sad news.
Speaking of big strong toll strikers,
Erling Holland has a book worth 100,000 pounds.
He and his father purchased it.
It's a manuscript about the Vikings dated to the 16th century.
It's part of the Vikings' sagas.
And he has donated that now to the town that he's from,
which I think is very, very cool.
It was printed in 1594.
It's actually the work of a 13th century historian
tells many evil stories of Vikings, Queens,
Viking kings, Queens, farmers and warriors.
That's very, very cool.
And he's given the only surviving copy to the library
and brain so it can be displayed and made accessible to the public.
That's very, very cool fair play.
A Huddersfield manager, Liam Manning,
has been granted compassionate leave
for the remainder of the season.
Of course, a couple of years ago, about 18 months ago,
his newborn son Theo tragically passed away.
He was a Bristol city at the time.
He took a leave of absence.
And then obviously it was at an average,
the start of this season that obviously didn't go particularly well.
But it felt like, you know, when you listen to him talk,
he doesn't, he doesn't sound the same as he did when, you know,
pre-tragedy.
And I think he's obviously just been dealing with some very tough times.
And obviously his family have as well as his wife
and his older son.
And I'd imagine it's been a very, very tough couple of years for them.
So this is, you know, it's good from Huddersfield
and then they're going to support him.
And they're ninth in league one to still him
with a crack of the playoffs.
No question.
And so, you know, it's a tough time for everybody.
It's also a stressful time to be the manager when you look
and I don't think we can really get into the playoffs here.
We're only three points outside,
but the club are backing him in support of them.
I think that's great to see.
You don't see it enough in modern football.
And hopefully, hopefully near Manning, you know,
he's never going to get over it, obviously,
but hopefully he'll get back to being the manager he was
and then showed he has the potential to be.
Senegal's appeal on the Afcon controversy
is to be heard as swiftly as possible.
Look, the whole thing is a mess.
Ultimately, Senegal won the Afcon
and all the rest of it is just a little nonsense.
There's a piece on Harry Wilson,
how he's doing his best Garrett Baylon impression
and I think that's quite cool.
Let's see, KSI to stream Dagenham Games on YouTube channel.
KSI will stream Dagenham Redbridge's
nationally south fixture with Hampton and Richmond
on his YouTube channel this weekend.
He has 17.6 million YouTube subscribers
and Baltimore minority stake in Dagenham back in March
and he will broadcast the game for free on Saturday.
So if you fancy watching a bit of non-leg football,
it will be on his on his Instagram on his YouTube channel.
That's quite cool.
He's already, see, he's got a partnership already
with the zone.
The zone have the streaming rather
the broadcasting lights for the National League.
He's got an agreement with them through misfit boxing
and I know he stepped away from that
but he's still a part of owner as far as I'm aware.
And this is quite cool.
This is quite cool.
So yeah, fair play to him.
Where does Salah rank among the greatest primary league forwards?
He's either one A with Henry 1B
or Henry is one A and he's one B
and it's a matter of personal preference.
I would say Henry was a better footballer.
I would say Salah's Premier League legacy
outstrips on Rees.
So I would go Salah 1A on Henry 1B.
Rodry versus Zubimendi, the battle for Spain's spot.
I mean, they'll both be in the squad
but on Quest III, Rodry's the better player
when he's at his best.
Now he obviously hasn't been that this season
but he was great.
He was absolutely great in the league cup final.
How a coach helped Chelsea
and asked you to quit the sleep for success.
I'll leave it to you to read that one.
Numbers behind the most polluting world cup.
So it does sound unsurprisingly.
Yeah, America's an enormous country.
An absolutely enormous country.
So yeah, of course it's going to be...
It's going to cause a lot of pollution with a lot of flights.
Man who racially abused Jess Carter sentence,
Nigel Duwale, who's 60,
racially abused Jess Carter
and has been sentenced to six weeks
in prison suspended for 12 months.
He's been given a four-year football banning order,
10-day community service, a three-month curfew
and 239 pound fine.
And given he turned up for court in a hoodie,
I'm guessing that fine won't get paid anytime soon.
That, I think, is all of the news.
Oh, actually, there's a good video piece on CESC and Como.
Give that a watch when you get a chance.
123 pounds for child's England kits of prices going to...
Yes, a child's football kit should not cost any more
than about 40 quid.
It's as simple as that.
Simple as that.
It is an absolute scandal.
An absolute scandal how much parents have been forced to pay
for kits and the fact that there's new kits released
every season is also a scandal.
It's also just a money grab
and it's not fair on parents.
Right, let me see.
That's everything I'll be back after break
with the gossip scene a second.
America leads the world in medicine development.
It matters.
We get new medicines first nearly three years faster.
Five million Americans go to work

But China is racing to overtake us.
Will we let them or will we choose to stay ahead?

So, Jayden Sanjo has held talks of brusque dormant
about a return to the Bundesliga
with the 25 year old willing to take a pay cut.
Okay, I think that's the right move for him.
I don't know if it's true,
but I think it's the right move.
Zinedine Zadan has agreed to take over as manager
of France after the World Cup.
The 53 year old who scored twice as France won the 1998 World Cup
will replace Didier Deschamps.
It's long past time for Deschamps to be gone,
so this is not a surprise.
Roberto Deserbis is open to becoming the new Tottenham manager
should they stay in the Premier League.
Yeah, but he doesn't want to be the one to help
stay in the Premier League,
which to me is a bit of a red flag if I'm spurs.
Although I think the football he plays is unbelievable,
but he might be a terrible set of lads.
Manchester United have yet to make contact
with any candidate to become the new permanent manager
and they will not rush into decision.
You're, you know, don't wait and see how
how this situation with Carrick plays out, obviously.
Newcastle's executive team have faith in Eddie Howe.
Do they know?
Do they really?
Chelsea's right back, Josh Champpong has seen
as a good fit by Crystal Palace.
I mean, suggestions he might leave, Stanford Bridge.
He's not getting to Palace
because bigger clubs will be all over that.
A.O. Tanaki of Leeds is wanted by Schalke and Hanover.
I like him, he's a good player.
Manchester United retaining and signing Alfonso Davies
and Byron are open to selling this summer.
I wonder if they know something about his knee.
Manchester United also want to sign Bruno Gamerish.
I think he might go this summer.
I thought he was the one that might stick at Newcastle,
but I don't know.
It's just traveling in a weird direction.
Antoine Griezmann is set to end his 10-year association
at Letico Madrid this summer and join Orlando City.
I love that for him.
I love that for him.
I want him to go to MLS and do well.
I think he'll, I think he'll enjoy it as well.
And Orlando, that's pretty cool.
Manchester City and Manchester United want Sandro Tanali,
but he would prefer a move to his homeland.
Yeah, I mean, Italians, you know,
why wouldn't you want to live in Italy in fairness?
Ben White may be back in the England squad,
but he could leave Arsenal for Everton this summer.
That's a great move for both clubs.
If he can stay fit, Everton need a right back.
He'd fit that well and he needs to be playing more 28.
Austin Villa are amongst several clubs
considering a move for PSG's Ibrahim and Bay.
A lot of clubs can consider it,
but I'm not sure he's available.
We'll see.
Manchester United have added Anthony Robinson
to their shortlist.
I mean, we hear this shortlist for United
and then there's like 40 players linked.
West Ham and Nottingham Forest
will face competition from AC Milan
for the signing of Santiago Castro.
I mean, he's only joining West Ham or Forest over them
for money.
Let's be honest, AC Milan is still AC Milan.
They might not have the money,
but they have the prestige.
Manchester United are willing to spend
up to 100 million euro on Firmin Lopez this summer.
If he becomes available, again, he's not going there.
Randall Colamuani is keen to move to UVA.
We've been hearing this now for weeks.
Crystal Palace are considering a surprise move
for Andoni Irohola.
Why would he do that though?
Like, why would he make that move?
That just doesn't make sense to me.
Manchester United still retain an interest.
I think he's definitely going to be one
that Bill Bauer interested in.
So we'll see.
Chelsea's owners will give Liam or senior backing
even if the club failed to qualify for the Champions League.
Will they though?
Will they come they afford to?
No, not really.
CESC is being linked as a possibility.
Eventus are keeping tabs on Andoni Irohola
which doesn't surprise me because Eventus
since Beppe Murat the left have just done
a dumb thing after dumb thing after dumb thing.
So that's everything I will see you all tomorrow.
Take care, bye-bye.
