The St. Louis Blues have traded center Braden Shen to the New York Islanders after 9 years with the team. Acquired in the summer of 2017 to bolster the center position, Shen became a key leader. He played 650 games, scored 181 goals, and tallied 465 points. He earned all-star honors, won the Stanley Cup, and served as captain for two and a half seasons.
