Seahawks Draft Jadarian Price: New Weapon for Darnold

On April 24, Seattle Seahawks just shocked folks by grabbing Notre Dame running back to

Darian Price in the first round of the draft.

After Kenneth Walker III bounced in free agency, they needed a new lead back fast and

price steps in as that explosive replacement.

Price backed up a top-rusher at Notre Dame, but flashed serious speed and skills in limited

snaps.

He can catch passes too, which fits perfect into Seattle's high-powered offense that

loves dynamic playmakers.

After back Sam, Donald comes out way ahead here, getting a fresh weapon in the backfield

after leaning hard on runners like Walker last season.

Offensive coordinator Brian Flurry wins big two, with more options to scheme around while

Zack Sharvanay heals up.

Running back Emmanuel Wilson takes the L though.

He signed for depth after Walker left, but now Price bumps him down the depth chart behind

guys like George Hullani and Sharvanay.

Head coach Mike McDonald loves this move, building on last year's run game tweaks that

turn things around.
