Seahawks Eyeing Robinson for Backfield Boost

On March 14th, the Seattle Seahawks have jumped into free agency, signing their first outside player just four days in.

They've added some depth they're running back in other spots, but experts say they're still hunting for a true starter to fix their backfield woes.

Brian Robinson, Jr. now available after a trade to the San Francisco 49ers, had a rough year with only 400 rushing yards and two. Touchdowns on 92 carries.

Before that, though, he's shown with the Washington commanders piling up 2,329 yards and 15 scores on the ground.

Plus, solid receiving numbers. Fans and analysts are buzzing about the team's needs, especially with star Kenneth Walker the Third Gunn, and back up Zach Sharbanay, sideline by A, torn ACL for much of the season.

Their recent signing of a manual Wilson on a one-year deal feels like a stopgap at best.
