Seahawks Lose Walker, Gain Price in Draft

On March 16th, the Seattle Seahawks fresh off a Super Bowl win, parted ways with running

back Kenneth Walker III in free agency.

Despite his strong 2025 season, with out in 27 rushing yards, five touchdowns, and 31

catches for 200.

82 yards, the team chose not to resign him.

Walker quickly landed with the Kansas City Chiefs on a 3-year deal worth $43.05 million.

He's joining quarterback Patrick Mahomes as the Chiefs aim to rebound from their 6-11

record last year their first playoff miss since, 2014.

Seattle added running back a manual Wilson from the Green Bay Packers, but he's not expected

to match Walker's output.

The move came amid other priorities, like resigning wide receiver and returner Rashid Shaheed,

especially with backup Zach Sharbanay, sideline by A, torn ACL in January.

Players now predict the Seahawks will target Notre Dame running back to Darian Price,

with their 32nd overall pick in the 2026 NFL.

sharing carries with.

Price could step right in as a slasher in a time share with Sharbanay, helping Seattle
