The Ottawa Senators picked up a clean two-nothing win over the Anaheim Ducks at home on Saturday night. Linus Allmark was stellar in net with 23 saves, including 11 in the third period, earning his second shutout of the season. Michael Amadio scored first in the second period on a two-on-one rush set up by Shane Pinto. Then Thomas Chabot added a shorthanded goal later, that frame, making a two-nothing after Pinto's feed on a three-on-two. The Ducks challenged Chabot's goal for goalie interference, but officials have held it on review, ruling the contact incidental. Anaheim managed just 12 shots through two periods, with Ville Hussos stopping 27. Both teams are wrapping up busy stretches. Ottawa's now, 33, 23, and 9 overall, winners of six of their last nine. Anaheim sits at 36, 24, and 3, dropping two of three on this road trip.
