Now the news. I'm Shane Bigum. A British report shows that China ranks second globally with 21 names in the world's 100 most valuable trade and services brands. Consultancy firm brand Finance released the Trading Services 100, 2026 at the China International Fair for Trading Services that opened in Beijing on Wednesday. The United States tops the list. Data from China's Commerce Ministry showed that China's services trade totaled more than 4.4 trillion yuan, or over 655 billion US dollars in the first seven months of the year. More than 90 countries, regions and international organizations are participating in siftest this year with over 18 hundred enterprises exhibiting. China's Gen. Oil prices topped 100 US dollars of barrel on Wednesday for the first time in six weeks as an escalation in fighting by US and Iranian forces deepened concerns over supply from the region. Brent has risen by 25% since early last month.

Long distances, commuters are also facing tough choices with some cutting back on trips and others worrying about how higher fuel costs will ripple through the rest of their household budget. Experts warned that higher fuel costs could ripple through the economy, pushing up transport

costs first, followed by food prices and rents. British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliban says Israel ordering the closure of the UK's consulate in East Jerusalem is regrettable in damaging. Israel's decision came after 12 countries, including Britain, Canada and France, and now sanctions on Israeli goods from the occupied West Bank. Israel will expel British representatives monitoring the U.S. brokerage ceasefire plan in Gaza. Miliban to maintain that the UK still believes in working with Israel in regards to threats from Iran with intelligence and security relations set to continue. Next, Netherlands says Dutch inland waterway vessels carried 21.8 million metric tons of freight last month down nearly 19 percent and posting the lowest volume for August in the past 15 years. It blamed drought for the sharp decline. The number of voyages increased by 3.4 percent, but vessels carried less cargo because of low water levels. Freight transport by inland waterway was down in almost all countries, with Germany

recording the steepest drop. The volume of goods transported to Germany fell by almost 40 percent. Harry Kane, Arling Helland, Rodgerie and LeMain Yamal were on this year's Belondor short list in what could be the most competitive race ever. England captain Kane could become the first Englishman to win the awards since Michael Owen in 2001, after scoring a career high 61 goals in all competitions for Bayern Munich last season.
