Shura Holmes considered himself as the only unofficial consulting detective, and rightly so.
In point of fact, Holmes worked outside the law.
If he'd be a policeman, working for Scott and Clark, he would certainly not have had the
freedom that allowed him to use his unorthodox methods.
This both pleased the police, and frustrated them.
Pleased them because he almost invariably left such men as inspectors time, and Inspector
Gredson take the public recognition for a case that he had sung.
Frustrated them because he could literally work on a case using his own specialized abilities
while they had to stay within prescribed limits.
Yet Holmes did respect the law, for he was, in fact, an amateur, and felt at best to have
healthy relationship with the professional police.
This encouraged such men, as Lestrade and Gredson, to bring various unsolved crimes to him
for his solution.
His freedom outside restraints the law, allowed him to assume many roles in disguise, and
to work with Watson as his accomplice.
Excellent examples of this kind of work can be found in such original stories as a scandal
in Bohemia, the man would have twisted lip, and the illustrious Clark, to name but a few.
He often broke open safes to get information, set fires to force some action out of an individual,
such as Irene Adlin, or broke into Holmes in order to gain access to information that
would lead to the solving of the crime.
Any abnormations by the police were so dropped, and Holmes produced a criminal or a subpochrome.
Those to this work was done by Holmes and Watson in London, or there is other parts of England.
In the walks of death, Holmes and Watson find themselves in Vienna, on a case.
Now here, on foreign territory, and completely outside the orthodox methods of the English
police, Holmes had even more free reign.
He still knew it is brilliant sense of deductive logic, but now he did not have to worry about
Grypromonsense, God and God, and besides, there was new excitement for Holmes when he could
deal with murder from other than the English criminal.
Join me now as we present Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson in the walks of death.
Petri Wine brings you...
Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce in the new adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
The Petri family, the family that took time to bring you good wine,
invites you to listen to Dr. Watson as he tells you another exciting adventure he shared
with his old friend at Master Detective Sherlock Holmes.
And as for me, well, I'm going to tell you about a swell idea.
The idea of serving Petri California Sherry before dinner.
Tomorrow night, just before dinner.
Instead of that last minute rush, take it easy for yourself a glass of Petri Sherry.
Now, if you'll do that just once, I wouldn't have to say another word about Petri Sherry
who would be a customer for life, because Petri Sherry is good wine with a capitol good.
Join that Petri Sherry anyway you like, by its beautiful amber color,
its part of the great aroma, or by the best test of all, its flavor.
Petri Sherry is delicious, and you have a choice of two kinds.
Petri regular and Petri pet dry Sherry.
Do not show up which you like better. Try them both. Don't buy one, buy two.
But remember, always buy Petri.
And now I'm sure I've good friend Dr. Watson's expecting this. Let's go in and join.
Good evening, Dr. Watson. Good evening, Mr. Bartel.
Are you set for tonight's story?
Here's my guy, I'm all set.
What is it?
It's again in the year 1889.
You'll be in a bright light. Lovely ladies, looking music.
What will you and the great Sherry like Holmes doing there, dancing?
What were we doing there?
Yes, we were taking a trip.
In those early days of our association, we didn't have either time or money.
No, we were in Vienna, with the express command and the Emperor of France Houston.
It was not October I remember that we arrived in the city.
But for several days we were forced to cool our heels, awaiting the imperial pleasure.
Don one of those idle evenings of the good services of our friend, the Chief of Police,
Uncle Franco, secure us an invitation to a splendid ball of being held at the Palace Princess Stephanie von Kram.
It was an incredibly colourful spectacle, Mr. Bartel.
The string orchestra high in the gallery of the Palace Ballroom,
played a haunting star swallows.
But on the floor below, the theme of Vienna is at a stucker's there,
swayed and glided gale, with a loping music.
I can remember the pictures so well, Mr. Bartel.
The homes that I stood there talking to the Chief of Police, Councillor Pratt.
The colour of the scene is in Chintan.
The tuturist, Mr. Bartel, must be real holiday for you and Mr. Bartel.
But it's hard to think of the criminal world when one looks at such a gathering.
And yet, Councillor Farno knows as well as I do that the criminal is not confined to class or in barren.
Indeed, no, Mr. Holmes.
I can assure you that every guest here tonight has been scrutinized as he entered.
Yes, I've mentioned that many paying close men are present in this room now.
Are they Councillor Farno?
Oh, yes. We take no chances.
I suppose you can't afford to.
There's enough juries being won here tonight for King's ransom, might you say?
Ah, the boat's just finished.
Now I can present you to our hostess, Princess Farno.
Stephanie, my pigeon.
My pigeon.
So, Princess, put it on.
Yes, I'm glad to see that in Vienna,
the profession of criminal detection carries no social stigma.
Allow me to present you, Mr. Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson.
The Princess Stephanie Farno.
I'm really honoured to be your hostess.
I'm most happy to meet you gentlemen.
Permit me to introduce my protégé.
You know sort of that.
The Hungarian composer.
Your turn.
This will be night, Mr. Holmes will mark her air occasion.
The signal honors to be conferred on her for life and myself before the night is two.
Next closes a new composition of his tonight will be its debut.
Indeed.
Have a very interesting.
This is a great honor the Princess has conferred on me.
A new composition could not possibly be presented under more official circumstances.
Mr. Farno, you spoke of an honour in connecting with yourself.
May I tell the master you could Stephanie?
No, I will tell myself on the throne.
After your vault has been played, Janusz.
And only told in the eyes shall be the first to have the pleasure of dancing to it.
My father is to make a public announcement.
I used to announce my engagement to Count Ahnett von Rufanno.
Oh, indeed, my congratulations.
You love her like you've fallen in love.
I might not be luck on Mr. Rufanno.
Is she not exquisite?
I, the gay man of Vienna, the cavalier who swore that no one woman would ever capture him.
I confess a gentleman.
I'm in love.
Oh, but I pity you.
Even the great vultures of Vienna could hardly be worthy of this moment.
Ahnett, all you are a boon.
Oh, come, the vault is about to begin.
I shall see you, gentlemen.
Later.
Have you seen?
Have you seen?
Well, be, be, be.
The orchestra is tuning up here, Ahnett.
I imagine this is a great moment for you.
For the very frightening one, I assure you, my friend.
In a few minutes, I shall know what I may be worth to crown with.
Success or failure?
Not the problem of leading the princess to the centre of the floor.
The conduct is raising as better.
This is your moment here, Ahnett.
Good luck.
Great fun, gentlemen.
Great fun.
There they go.
The princess can't be frowning.
Oh, they're starting the rose.
Ahnett, they make a striking bear, aren't they?
You come, the other couple's down on the floor.
They're charming.
They're charming.
It reminds me of...
Ahnett!
It's great.
Don't touch it.
Don't touch it.
It's the princess.
Come, princess.
Come on, Watson.
Out of the way, please.
Out of the way.
Come for final.
Don't have this.
Watson, see what you can do for her.
Come for final.
There's...
There's nothing I can do, I'm afraid.
She was shot through the brain.
She died instantly.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Stiff me.
Come for final.
Have you found any clues?
One of my men found a revolver.
He'd been tossed into the earth of a potted palm.
May I see it, please?
Of course.
Yeah.
Rammed into the soft earth.
Come for final.
Your fiancé was an extremely beautiful woman.
You must have riddles.
Yes, sir.
But none of them are present tonight.
A rule inherited her estate.
Six months old nephew.
Who's his guardian?
The emperor finds Joseph himself.
No, no.
Mr. Doc Holmes, I know.
No obvious motive for someone wishing poor Stephanie.
No, perhaps it was a political crime.
She was a wealthy aristocrat.
No, a prominent one, please.
It's very possible.
Many United's assassins have been active in my contradiction.
It means why we have a ballroom full of suspects waiting for us.
So, I'm just going to suggest we went back there.
We can't find very much by staying here in the library.
To delicate matter, almost everyone present tonight has known to me personally.
I may not suggest to you, sir.
I may not suggest to you, sir.
I may not suggest to you, sir.
I may not suggest to you, sir.
I may not suggest to you, sir.
I may not suggest to you, sir.
I may not suggest to you, sir.
That means why we have a ballroom full of suspects waiting for us.
So, I am just going to suggest we went back there.
We can't find very much by staying here in the library.
To delicate matter, almost everyone present tonight has known to me personally.
I may not suggest to you back to the ballroom
and have the male guests file past you.
To disrain for questioning,
anyone whose evening throws do not fit perfectly.
What the kind of a man's coat we've got to do with this.
Anyone involved in such a ballin as this would naturally have his own tail out.
I think,相of cul reputation,
if you found a man who had too high a scalste king,
has cast young, he might be an imposter and may well prove to be a russet in it.
Mr. Holmes, your plan has not been effective so far.
You find one Englishman who is unusually badly dressed and what to be discovered
is an Englishman lord whose luggage was lost on the plane.
He is the second suspect who is perfectly respectful to the Japanese doctor
who has lost his little child, who has taken a last minute snippet,
who has failed to tell the person.
And the third was poor Hobart, the composer.
You cannot get afforded with the dress today.
Well, come for a final.
Why not have the next suspect shown in?
Sure about.
Bring him to the next man.
Yeah, that's all.
Come to the head, I'm better.
I'm better.
I'm better.
A little frightful in fuller.
My name is Groning.
What do you wish with me?
Your name will stop on the list of invitations.
A long rumours please.
Let me see your right hand, Groning.
You have no idea to touch me.
Where do you get these earth stains?
Your right thumb is pitted and the net is full of dirt.
What does that poor policeman do?
You try to hide your revolver by ramming it into an earth filled cloth.
You know that revolver please, comfor a final.
It will be easy to compare the samples of earth.
But not be necessary.
Did the princess deny them?
Certainly I admit it.
Why did you kill her?
She was nervous to cut.
She was in the press of the poor.
I'm glad I killed her.
One day I had a party.
We'll kill all of you.
Fill the earth, comfor a final.
Put down that revolver.
Shoot him like the doctor.
No, no, no, no.
Come to front.
Even you can't take the law and get your own hands.
Why do you not shoot me?
But he spoke of Stephanie that way.
I killed him just as he killed her.
Very understandable.
And pal, sir, but one that would have ruined your life.
My life.
Now that she is dead, my life is empty.
What the right to love and who do you have to exist in a world that no longer holds Stephanie?
She was all light in life.
Happiness.
Now.
That I am hardly displaying.
My being is blood, am I?
The motor is cut.
Thanks to you, Mr. Holmes.
And my life, such as it is, must go on.
Come home.
That's the story of the jet.
Mr. Barton.
And began.
It sounds like the end of the story to me, doctor.
Oh, from it.
The next day, Holmes and I had I interfere with his imperial magic tech.
And learn the nature of the services expected of us.
The services required are leading the city.
And that's why my boy.
We were gone from the end of the summer.
We didn't know that during our absence,
at all, it was.
It had such a tragic debut.
It was beginning to make a thought of more business.
We have had many requests for it.
Gladly.
We will play it.
Have our own.
Isn't this where the walls are playing?
Yes, my dear.
And he was walking on to the plot of dance to it.
Lea Mullinstein, the actress.
A beautiful creature.
Oh, are you trying to make me jealous, Mum?
Oh, and have a little sleigh of work, Mum.
She's been shot.
A new ballet.
Magnificent.
Never has cross-navaled dance better.
Have you ever seen such an ex-mitted beat away?
No.
Six deaths in four weeks, Shoba.
All beautiful women and all killed to the music of the Hobart walls.
As a homesteaded madman at large in Vienna,
there's only one thing to be done.
We must forfeit absolutely the playing of that wall,
spying till the peak.
No, all of this is still until we return to Vienna.
And then, I suppose, Sherlock Holmes was gone into the case again.
Holmes had a close study of a newspaper of bots on the tragedies.
And it was great to figure that I tore him away from his investigations,
the tender reception of a temper,
which the bankers for our services,
on the mission that we just completed.
As we arrived at the imperial palace,
almost the first person we ran into was the Hungarian composer.
Yannos.
Talk about them.
Yes, heard of the tragedies connected with my walls.
Yes, we have indeed.
I was making a clear study of the newspaper of bots on them,
just before I came here.
You must do something that's a home.
People will hardly listen to other music.
They want my walls.
But that is forbidden.
I'm losing a reputation and a fortune,
while that walls remain unplayed.
Or perhaps here, however,
you are laying an excellent foundation for our later reputation and fortune.
What do you mean?
All this publicity, however, distasteful to you at the moment,
must in the long run prove invaluable.
Ah!
Hey, why am I there to come for fun?
I'm glad to see you back in Vienna.
You've heard of the murders?
Yes, I've heard of them.
Yes, I've heard of them.
I need your help again, good friend.
For over a month now,
the murder has been at large,
and I cannot seem to get on display.
I'm groaning the first time.
What do you have with him?
At least him.
Why?
At least him?
That's not why.
At the hearing, it was obvious that the man was an egomaniac.
He posted of the murder of Stephanie of Panty,
of the urbanity.
The little newspaper editors make quite an issue of the case.
Got the pleasure to bear, and he had to let him go.
Come, find it.
I wish I hadn't left Vienna.
You have to fill out the lodge again, come to France.
It's pretty obvious that he's the third of the other women, too.
The concrete doctor,
he was in prison until yesterday.
The last of the murders was made at three days ago.
Oh!
It comes to simply your highness, not yourself.
Ah!
What do you mean, gentlemen?
Your highness.
Yes, your highness.
Your highness.
Well, as you may have said, it is English company.
Right.
Not only is the masterful son of Hobys,
and it's colleague Dr. Forts,
a English friend of your owner,
but I say that they have it as English representative
from our Hungarian empire.
They are not far back.
If work is successful,
I'm told,
it's a breed of composers for whom Vienna is famous.
Your highness is most kind.
There's a pipe organ in here.
It's an excellent tradition, I am told.
We do not play as part of your competition to tell of that.
I shall be most honoured, your highness.
If you don't implement system, will you?
Thank you.
What shall I play, your imperial highness?
Very soon you wish, your man.
Very soon you wish.
Thank you, your highness.
With your permission,
I choose to play...
Great chemist.
He's paying the death walls.
And you're gone, Watson.
Even in the imperial palace itself.
This twirling tune may invoke murder.
You'll hear the rest of Dr. Watson's story in just a second,
which just gives me time to remind you that
if any one wine could be called the perfect wine for almost any occasion,
that one wine would be Petri, California's shell.
Petri's shell is not only a fine before dinner wine,
but it's wonderful after dinner too.
And, of course, when you're entertaining more,
and guests drop in, whether in the afternoon or evening,
there's nothing better than a class of Petri's shell.
And it's comforting to know that you can serve Petri's shell probably,
because the name Petri is the proudest name in the history of American wines.
Dr. Watson, you certainly left me hanging on a cliff that time.
You broke off your story just as the Hungarian composer
started to play his ill-fated walls to the Emperor of Christose.
What happened?
At the time, my boy, fortunately, nothing happened.
He hovered, competed his composition without apparent incident.
And shortly afterwards, we attended a banquet that was given an hour on it.
A banquet that concluded with a rather curious ceremony,
which the Emperor presented Sherlock Holmes in the middle
to commemorate the services that were living with.
Finally, we shortly after ten o'clock, I remember,
Holmes and I together were covered,
while they were left the royal chain,
stopping to descend the spiral staircase,
leading to the main hall.
You were greatly un-tonight, Mr. Holmes.
Only known as inferior kindness to make three such presentations before
and they were all through my own country.
You might have made another one,
but it is what it is.
The Emperor's most kind,
I can't help feeding with the over-evaluated myself.
You're being unusually modest, Holmes.
Perhaps because I feel that my visits here
is incomplete until I've solved the death-class murders.
I hope you'll be able to stay in Vienna long enough to do that.
And this, I am at my bedside.
I've been giving the matter a great deal of thought, Comfort Colonel.
I have a plan for trapping the killer.
It's in rather an embryonic stage at the moment,
but of the pipes at the hotel tonight, I expect to develop it thoroughly.
I shall call it your office in the morning and explain it to you.
I shall be awaiting a visit easily.
But one more of these murders and a newspaper outcry might become so loud
that I should have to resign my post as chief of police.
Comfort made that daring gesture and played the death-wells tonight.
It's one thing. It's not infallible.
The death of a beautiful woman doesn't always follow the playing of the melody.
There's two blocks to it, but what is it?
Here's some.
It's back in the night with you.
There's a figure here that's dumped on the landing.
It's got it.
Party of a girl.
And if they abuse the girl too.
Drop through the forehead.
You're wrong Watson.
The death-wells is intolerable.
But I swear to you, the factela has struck for the last time.
All right, all right, my dear cancer panel.
Yes, I followed the instructions you gave me this morning, Mr. Holmes.
Chinbombs is a good moment.
The smart stuff is not in Vienna.
I preserved the best table for you, and I've invited the guests that you named.
A faintly assorted couple, I must say.
I know it's for that composer and that grinning fellow.
The one that knitted shooting your...
your fiancee, Carreferno.
This is much as I could do to keep my hands off him in your life, dear doctor.
But Mr. Holmes insisted that I ask you.
Just the same idea she would tell me this panel.
I'm completely in the dark.
You're in the dark.
I can sympathize with you, Carreferno.
Holmes never tells me a thing, either.
Listen, I guess I'll win.
In a very few minutes, I'm sure that my...
...band will be perfectly apparent.
Good evening, Herr Holbert.
Oh, good evening, Mr. Holmes.
How do you do, Herr Holbert?
And how I've night had groaning,
and having to come here against my will,
my party does not approve of these aristocratic, petty big skies.
The council of Frano and Thornt made it,
but I did not come here tonight.
I could expect to find myself in prison.
How could I resist of she persuasive if I tell you?
Hi, I'm the third guest, brother.
I met her at the hotel a few hours ago.
Mr. Holmes, I'm so glad that you were able to come.
Hello, Mr. Holmes.
I didn't know this was going to be a party, but I couldn't be happy.
I'm going to present you, Carreferno.
Dr. Watson, how are you?
How are you?
How groaning?
Mr. Barbara Banks from the United States.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Holmes, I wish I knew what you were to.
And how can a young American girl
afford to come to the anime house?
Of course you can ask.
My father made a lot of money,
and he wanted me to have the advantage he never had.
Your father made money because he grabbed the faces of the poor.
My father never ground a poor face in his life.
He was a capitalist.
I spit at him.
Oh, that's rather unfriendly.
And I also told you, graphically,
speaking something of a problem,
you see, he's living in Wyoming.
You make fun of me.
Oh, only because you make fun of me.
Mr. Holmes, I did address him.
I very grateful, Mr. Banks.
The orchestra leader didn't want to play it.
He seemed scared.
But I waited a lot of money in front of him,
and I promised to pay the fine as well.
I'll spend it.
Great.
Got it.
He'd all know.
So do I.
He persuaded Mr. Banks to buy the orchestra.
He needed to play.
My vaults.
Michael Bitten vaults.
Yes, hair for that.
I felt that if the request came from a young American,
it might seem quite reasonable.
Particularly if they're a quest for a company
by American Thomas,
ground out of the faces of the poor.
You are being unpleasant in the army, aren't you?
Thank you, your vaults, sir.
The death vaults.
Mr. Holmes, this is against the law.
The whole bad vaults is forbidden by imperial decree.
Nonetheless, my deckant, I employ you not to arrest the orchestra leader
until after the vaults is completed.
In which case since I requested it, and it's still playing,
I'm like a partner.
When you dance with me, Captain Farno.
I'm sorry, it's fine to go.
For this melody, I shall never dance again.
Oh.
Well, how about you, doctor?
Oh, I like it.
I like it.
I like it.
But I'm afraid I'm not as light on my feet as I used to be.
In any case, I was never much of a hand of the world.
See, focus more on my learn.
Yeah, me.
I'm getting an inferiority, can't I?
Please, not in the space.
You'll observe that the general public seems singularly
and willing to dance, too.
Not one couple has ventured onto the floor.
How can you blame them?
The world before that they mean death.
How can you blame them?
I'm not afraid.
After all, Herr Hobart, it's your own music.
I'll dance with you.
Your most kind must be.
And courageous.
But to be a partner, the only woman on the floor would mean ruin.
An admission of failure.
My third refusal, I'm a wall plan.
No, my dear Mr. Banks, the aristocrats, they're afraid.
But I claim simple gurning.
I will dance with you, Mrs. Williams.
So, please, you hear gurning.
And I assure you, my father does not grind the faces of the poor.
He does grind the faces of the poor.
Stop, hurry, suicide.
I think not, Herr Hobart.
I think so.
And I'll not stay here to watch him.
Where the hell is he off to?
You're not very doctor.
I should spend my money.
Yes, and we'll keep an eye on both of them.
Come on, watch him.
He's leaving the room.
There's a counter-finalist.
He's dirty.
He's dare.
And the slip behind one of those pillows.
Good lord, he's drawing a revolver.
That's the bottom.
He's our man.
Put that revolver counter-finalist.
What did I say?
He's filling it on himself.
Counter-finalist.
I still can't believe it, Holmes.
Not the fact that counter-finalist brings out the perfectities of murder.
Yes, I was slow to believe it too old, Jeff.
And I blame myself for consequence.
Two things should have been instantly apparent about the madman who killed beautiful women
when he heard the Hallback bloss.
Firstly, he must have had some motivation, which grew up in such an act.
Second day, he must have carried a revolver with him at all times, since he was invariably armed
when the occasion presented itself.
Backing on that factor, they could think of the police officer.
Then, of course, I saw the frano's motivation.
You loved the princess, Jeff and her dear lady.
Her death in his arms was a psychological shock that was more than his mentality could stand.
When he heard that music, it reminded him of the dead princess.
And forced him to kill her.
That's what I know, fellow.
You would have called it when he said to his office, he'll say, is death.
What right to love and beauty have to exist in the world that no longer holds Stephanie?
When he heard the music, he couldn't bear to think that other lobleness existed, and so were he who destroyed it.
But who killed the princess, Stephanie?
When Anna was first arrested for it, had Grinning admitted it after the persuasion when the police arrived,
taken back to prison in the carriage that just took comfort from his body.
It's shocking to think that seven innocent women have been murdered before this case and so.
Yes, a fact that will be a constant riproach to me, I assure you.
Oh, I didn't mean that.
My dear fellow, we won't even in Vienna when five of the killing took place.
Oh, hello, hello, here comes the spanks.
Mr. Holmes, what happened to that funny little man who danced with me?
That Grinning?
He went to prison in the spanks, he was a murderer.
Well, I must say this is a strange kind of a part of you asked me to, Mr. Holmes.
One of the guest-blowsers brings up, and the other, the only man who dances with me, turns out to be a murderer.
Well, I see now why father sent me to Europe, even like this could never happen in Wyoming.
Look, look, look, the hell is walking out in front of the orchestra.
There is the gentleman.
Listen.
There is the gentleman.
I think almost thought that we should ask sure you, upon the word of the Grinning,
to protect this gelatin, that never gains a man new world beat, and a confidence on better.
Hence thought, which melody will be for life, and love and love.
I was the father of the finest protein, thanks to each of your tables.
Bring your glasses and please me, as I now conduct my work.
Bring a glass from the kiss of dance.
Say, Dr. Rai, I really like that story.
That was a bathroom.
Yes, wasn't it?
A highly placed police official in the last person in the world, you'd think you'll be murdered.
I must press, I wasn't so much help to whom, solving that case.
Oh, don't let that worry you doctor.
After all, Holmes almost missed solving it himself.
Oh, thank you.
I'm sorry, thank you.
But it certainly was one of the most interesting cases that I was ever connected with.
I know what you mean.
You know, I came across quite an interesting case myself the other day.
Say, well, right in my own house.
You're seeing a lot of times in a kind of case.
Sherry?
Oh, that's right.
A case of Petri, California, Sherry.
You see, I buy it by the case doctor because that Petri wine is really extraordinary.
But all Petri wine is unusual wine.
Unusually good.
Because the Petri family has been making wine for generations.
Because it's a soul.
And because the Petri business has been owned and operated by the Petri family ever since its beginning.
Is today the largest independent family owned wine company in America.
Naturally, the name Petri on a bottle of wine is more than a trademark.
It's the personal assurance of the Petri family.
Every drop of wine in that bottle is good wine.
Naturally good wine because Petri took time to bring you to good wine.
Tonight, Sherlock Holmes' adventure was written by Dennis Green and Anthony Boucher.
And was suggested by an incident in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's story,
the adventure of the illustrious client.
Ruzik is by Dean Posler.
Mr. Rathbone appears through the courtesy of Metro Goldwyn Mayor
and Mr. Bruce through the courtesy of Universal Pictures,
where they are now starring in the Sherlock Holmes series.
The Petri wine company of San Francisco, California,
invites you to tune in again next week, same time, same station.
Sherlock Holmes comes to you from our Hollywood studio.
This is Harry Bartel saying good night for the Petri family.
This is the world's largest network, the mutual broadcasting system.
At first, when hair-growning confessed to the killing of the Princess von Krann,
I didn't believe it.
When the other women were killed, I was sure that hair-growning was innocent.
I at least suspected Count Reprano of having committed the other murders.
But then, that's exactly what Dennis Green and Anthony Boucher wanted. Don't you think?
The two episodes you're just heard, the out-of-date murder,
and the world's of death, affect the new adventures of Sherlock Holmes,
starting as a Rathbone and Nigel Bruce,
and our in 1988 coffee-radi production of 221A Baker Speed Associates.
The Sherlock Holmes stories and the characters of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John H. Watson
were created by Sir Arthur Kermendor,
and are used with the kind permission of Dame G. Kermendor.
This has been right.
Won't you join me again soon for more new adventures of Sherlock Holmes?
Thank you for listening.
Thank you.
