Suspect Linked to 6 Gas Station Robberies in York Region

Policing York Region are linking one suspect to at least six robberies and gas stations

over the past five days, hitting spots from Markham to Vaughn and Richmond Hill.

The latest struck just before 2.30 a.m. near Major Mackenzie Drive and McCowan Road in

Markham, coming two hours after another at around 12.

20 a.m. near Hillwood Street and McCowan Road where the guy threatened staff and grabbed

cash before bolting.

Police described as a six foot tall man with a thin build, lashing in a gray toque, dark

shirt over a black long sleeve, black pants and gloves, gray.

Shoes, using a white shirt as a mask to hide his face.

Investigators tie him to four more gas station hits, March 25 near Woodbine and Yorktech,

same day at 16th Avenue and 9th line, March 28 near Highway 50 and Langstaff, and March 29

at Steele's in Dufferin plus a money loan spot, March 24 on Young, near Major Mackenzie.

York Regional Police want tips from anyone who knows something, call them or crime stoppers

if you spot this guy before he strikes again.
