Welcome to the 2026 annual take purge. My name is Danny Heifetz and I am joined by two men ready to cleanse their soul. Danny Kelly and Craig Horlbeck, men are you ready to embark upon a journey of catharsis? I need to be cleansed. I'm nervous. I'm scared, but I'm also ready. You should be scared. There's a lot in here that I want to be out there. Right. I can't wait to feel lighter. We are going to embark on an incredible journey together, but first an incredibly natural, well-timed advertising break.

Do it again. Give me one more. Smoother and lower voice. But first, a very natural and not whispering. Just... But first, a really awkward ad break. But first, an awkwardly timed ad break. This episode is presented by Verizon. Let me tell you all about Verizon's new simplicity plan. You get one plan, one price, just $30 a line per month, even for a single line. So while everyone is running four trade analyzers before offering a backup tight end, Verizon said one plan, one price. Sometimes the simplest move is the best one, like the simplicity plan. Head to Verizon.com today. For new customers who switched to Verizon, $30 per line includes auto pay and switch discount. Additional taxes, fees and terms apply. DK, you always get nervous for the take perch.

Why is that? There's a lot of pressure on making sure you get the right takes out. Sometimes it takes themselves are a little bit scary. Just even say them. Even within the confines of the perch, which is like severance, what happens inside the perch is not who you are outside of the perch. You don't remember what happens inside the perch. That's exactly right. I don't know what I've ever said in there. How was it bad? I couldn't tell you. I mean, look, there's just all this prep, all these researches, all just a lot of intrusive thoughts. There's a weight on my shoulders right now. I need to get that off my shoulders. Unwanted ideation. Can you imagine if we had to carry these things with us, just walk around with them every day and didn't have an outlet at some point? What I'm most worried about is my professional credibility being at risk, which is why we invented the take perch so that my sterling reputation as an NFL analyst won't be jeopardized by my... For you specifically, because you set the bar extremely high. Yes. The highest, maybe. I would maybe agree with you. It's nice that we have this opportunity to get

these intrusive thoughts off. Oh my God. This is not a test. This is your emergency podcast system announcing the commencement of the annual take perch. At the siren, all takes, including things you don't actually believe, will be legal for 60 continuous minutes. No players, coaches, or media members of any kind will be granted immunity. All rational thought, logic, and professional credibility will be suspended. The Ringer Podcast Network thanks you for your participation. May our take, God. Chris Sims be with you all. It's perched time, baby. Don't worry. We're not going to give our takes with these masks.

What are we going to do in the whole podcast? For those watching on Netflix and Spotify, we do actually have the giant weird mask that I'm going to take it off. It's time. We're here. We're on the clock. I feel like I've been asleep for 364 days. And I've finally awoken like Ripley and Alien after a 53-year sleep. Yeah. Why don't you bat off here, Craig? I feel like you're just itching. You got... You just look at your soul looks heavy. You got to get something off your chest. I think Brock Bowers is the most overrated pick in fantasy. And we're all just going way too hard on this. I just heard a bang in the other room. It was a lusted hitting the ground. We talk about Brock Bowers's rookie season like he's fucking Randy Moss in 2007. My guy had 1100 yards and five touchdowns. He caught a lot of passes. He averaged 12 fantasy points a game. Let's all settle down. He was... If you include wide receivers in tight ends in 2024, his rookie season, he was the wide receiver slash tight end 22. He's a 22nd

highest rated guy. And we're all like, oh, Cubiaks coming. This is going to be awesome. Cubiaks throws the ball way less than the Raiders did. C-ox or 29th in past attempts last year. The Raiders in 2024 were fourth. They threw the ball 170 more times than the C-ox did last year. Also, Jackson Smith and Jake Butler ran 100 less routes than Brock Bowers did in 2024. I think he's great. I would also like to add in that note, since the year 2000, only three tight ends have ever finished as a top three tight end fantasy with a rookie quarterback playing eight or more games. No tight end attached to a rookie over that span has ever led the position and scoring. So I think we need a little settle down juice about Brock Bowers. That's deep in my soul. I'm like, people taking this guy like 13, 14th overall. This guy's going to be like a top 20 or 30 wide receiver. Like last year didn't even happen. Give me a try. I mean, Brian. Three things. One, I love Brock Bowers. This is obviously about me. Two, I'm a Frager right. Three for like almost none of those reasons. Okay. Frager right, which is terrible. PCL. You brought up like, I mean, the Raiders throwing

more passes, the C-ox throwing less. That's like because the C-ox defense is great and the Raiders defense is ass. I'm not as worried about that. The thought at the point I thought you were going to bring up is the Raiders quarterback situation is just like might be worse. Like her cousins is old and Mendoza is a rookie. And my fear is that I thought I just brought up the whole working quarterback thing. But well, that's the, like the pass rate stuff that'll get ironed out. But to your point, what I didn't think could be at runs a slower offense. And they're just, I don't know, run a lot. Yes. What is your balance in any world? The Raiders were, you think the C-ox are going to be fourth in, are they think the Raiders are going to be fourth in pass attempts this year? Well, how many were completed? No, I think that it's, it's about the efficiency. But I think that the fear I have with Bowers, and I actually kind of feel this way a little about the Chargers too. Is there any world where we're not just repeating ourselves next year? We're like, well, last year, like, you know, the Chargers were healthy. Last year, the Raiders, that was Mendoza's rookie year. Now Mendoza gets a whole off season. Now we should take Bowers. I am afraid that I kind

of think Bowers will break the receiving record at tight end. And it might just be like in two or three years and not and picking Mendoza's rookie year as the year to be in is, I, oh, man, it's a little scary. I don't love that. He had tape on his knee at practice as well. They don't love that. Especially with what happened with his knee, what's his face? It's a guy from the Niners. I'm pure soul. I don't know. It does worry me. I will say this is a great take because I have chickened out in the second round of every draft I've taken so far and I've not taken him. It's just been like something that's been festering in me. I love Brock Bell. I think he's fantastic. Festering is the perfect word. But I'm like, I don't, I just don't know if it's going to be like as explosive as a season as everybody thinks. Yeah. I is so delighted. He has to basically we're drafting him near his ceiling, right? Like he has to go absolutely off. We're drafting him as the seventh best wide receiver in the NFL. That's pretty damn high. That's like basically he's got to have like a CD lamb's average season.

That's kind of high. He could come in first. He could come in second. He could come in third. Yeah. He could come in fourth. I get it. It just comes down to if Mendoza looks like a rookie at all and plays earlier and Kirk cousins looks old and you're like, well, that was that was bad. Okay. Look at him. Looks lighter already. Look at Craig's down. I just wanted to get on base. You know, DK. I got another one that the word festering really works for. This wasn't festering in my soul a little bit. The crowning of Caleb Williams. I'm afraid Caleb Williams is going to suck again and the bear and all our bears takes are going to look like shit. Damn. Madden curse Daniel. I mean, I didn't say it. We literally were in the commercial. We were in a Madden commercial and we are doing the EA sports in the game from part of Madden. It's and we literally may have overlooked that. I feel obligated somewhat to say that there were a lot of bad like underlying statistics of Caleb Williams last year. In particular, his accuracy, which was absolute shit. It was shit. It was shit. It was I land. It was shit.

I mean, if you just look at some of like completion rate over expected, it was like 30 second. Adjusted completion rate. 34th. This is according to fantasy points. 40th and catchable throw rate. Maybe DJ Moore was right. Maybe he maybe he wanted to get out of there just because Caleb Williams couldn't complete God damn pass when it wasn't like him scrambling around. DJ Moore was right. It's a great take here. DJ Moore is right. All the receivers left their teams are right. DJ Moore's right. I will say the reason why this is so genius is I think similar to Brock Bowers. This is like at the tipi top of the mountain of like things we are desperate to believe is true. 100% that the bears are good and Caleb is good and it's real and everything's fun. And this is like all the crazy shit that happened last year is not an anomaly. Yes. And this is like the new team. All the bears hype. We want to know. I mean, I love Caleb Williams as a prospect. I was so excited to see what he did last year. They're improving that he made. But all this bears hype when it comes to a quarterback is making me a little itchy. I don't know how to feel about it. I really want Caleb Williams to be

good and I really do believe in Ben Johnson. But the whole like next step we're going really far on Luther Burton like all over Roman day. Well, okay, settle down now. This might not be Luther Burns fault is what you lost me. You know, they've got some injuries on their offensive. Why in that are still like Aussie Trapilo or whatever his name is. I don't know how to say last day. Trapilo, which is also what is these resting on? He's coming off of a talent, Patelor injury. He was good for them last year. You know, Braxton Jones had a he won the competition and left tackle this this preseason. But he wasn't very good in the games. There's some concern there. The bears are honestly they're going to struggle to run left sometimes. Yeah. Like Zoolander. Yes. So I don't know. It's it's been nagging at me. All the bears talk. It's good. And I really do want him to. Of course. And I he could. But I'm also just like man, when is the bears quarterback been good? Yeah. I mean, the Chicago's literally never had a 4,000 year at passer. And

also they have the sixth hardest schedule this year. And that's the thing is like the same way that the chiefs had like, you know, they went like 11 and wins in one score games two years ago. And then they had like six wins in the final play. And then last year they went like what one and eight or something in one score games. The Chicago had one of the greatest steps ever where they lost on a Hail Mary and then lost 10 straight games after that. Then that was two years ago. And then last year Chicago goes around and they want I think seven different games where they were losing at the two-minute one. And it's just like, oh, it was a very thin margin thing to be like, all right, well, we're good now. It's well, if Kyler Murray had done what the bears did last year, we probably wouldn't be racing to be excited about it. Caleb last year led the league in throwways, 44 throwways. That's the Rogers. That's the Aaron Rodgers. But right, young and cam ward were the two that were right behind him. That's my pushback. Stats are created differently. Caleb Williams is Stats, the profile similar to Aaron Rodgers. Nicky, comparing to Aaron Rodgers. Not a lot of turnover. It's not a lot of. Yeah, in the ball over just not there. He throws it away. He puts it in a place that either a receiver can get it at a low rate or nobody. Yeah, he's not putting it really in the vicinity. But a just a complete. They eliminate throwways. So what about burden? Still really low.

Are you worried about all the bears? Yeah, that's what I mean, that's basically, I mean, as a cascading effect, I'm worried that we're way too high on all the bears players this year. This is devastating. This is good. But it's also great. Okay. Can I get something off my chest? Yeah, please. This is like not just like a silly little take purge. This is like a strategic error. I think we've been. It's not your grandma's take purge. What what other members of our team could we attack here? Because we just killed Austin and kill the kill is devastated. Yeah, this is for us. All of these top 10 running backs are going to get hurt. And us telling everybody to go running back heavy this season is going to make us feel so stupid. They're all going to get hurt. We all did it in the draft in the ringer. Yeah, the ringer draft. All of us want running back running back. We drafted 10, 11th and 12th and we'll probably finish 10 in a three receiver league. It is three receiver league. Literally, we have just had the healthiest two-year stretch for running backs that any of us can remember. And then the industry, the entire industry just was like, you know what? You got to go back to running back to find now. Running backs are fine. Running backs

don't get hurt. The most obvious fade ever is, you know what I'm going to do with my last pick? I'm going to take Justin Jefferson and CD Land back to back. And then Drake May inexplicably falls to in the fourth or fifth round. I'll do that. And the whole weight on tight end went on quarterback. I did a draft yesterday. And I couldn't believe it. I had the 45th pick. Like it was fourth round. I forget. I almost got Josh Allen. Josh Allen went one pick before me. He went 44th overall. No one took a quarterback for 44 picks. And I just remember thinking I've never seen that. Yeah. Right. And I remember thinking I think there's a world where fantasy advice is actually in a weird way. You pick what it's now. Right. Because it jumped the shark a little. Yes. Everyone is so online that I've kind of agrees on a strategy. But August 1st and the models and the projections and everything kind of a line. You wouldn't have seen that in our draft. So I don't kickers went in the seventh. No. But the game theory of it. I'm like, at this point, should our fantasy advice next year be like, let's just see what everyone else decides on and do the opposite at a principle. That's usually where you find the value. Right. Literally.

Zerot running back as a concept. Like, oh, we'll just like take elite receivers elite tight ends, elite quarterbacks. And then like we'll just find backup running backs from guys to get hurt later. And that's how you win started because everyone else is going heavy running back. And like, I am worried that that was very obviously the strategy. But we didn't realize that everyone was kind of touting the same thing. And I'm like, Derek, I love him. But I'm like, the oldest running back in the entire league. Jonathan Taylor had 370 carries last year. Christian McAfry had 413 carries in the reg or touches in the regular season. Safe ones almost 30. Like all these guys like, we are really banking on these guys. I'm missing any time. It's also been a horrific preseason for injuries. Yes. Just I don't know. Yeah. Vibes are vibes are low on that. It's a good one. And it's it's basically betting on the position that you that is most likely to get injured. We'll just get injured. Yeah. And we're all betting that it won't for three years in a row. Damn it. So yeah, that's been buggy, babe. Um, I got something that I've been thinking more and more as we've gotten through the summer.

I did not feel this way months ago. And things have changed. Whether I want to admit it or not. Okay. I think Mike McCarthy is going to go 12 and 5 with this. We in a playoff game. And it's going to make all of us completely reconsider Mike Tomlin's career in like a while. I think this dealers could come out of the gate and be a really competent above average offense. I think Patrick Graham as DC is going to be an above average dare I say great defensive coordinator. And it's going to make us go. So what really was Tomlin doing this team with the same roster pretty much in the same quarterback. One 12 games, one of playoff game. The offense is legitimate. I think they're going to average 24 points a game. And we're going to be like, huh. Maybe Mike Tomlin was a good quote. And Mike McCarthy is a good play collar. A good quote. That's good. That's like a catchphrase. That's that's that's like a fear. But it's also yeah. That would be exciting. I kind of think

cricks right. I will say I have a personal connection to this in a way very like parallel kind of situation happened with the Seahawks where Pete Carol laughed. I was upset when Pete Carol got fired. I mean, he kind of got fired. It was a weird little situation. And I thought the Seahawks were making the wrong decision by letting him go. I had this amount of incredible amount of nostalgia for Pete Carol. Like almost like a father figure. He took us to the Super Bowl. It was amazing. It was like the greatest era of Seahawks football we've I've ever seen in my life. It was so great. But I will say the last however many years seven seven or eight years of Pete Carol's tenure there were pretty Steelers you were. It was like good enough to go play us. Not good enough to do anything else. And then you know, the Seahawks hired Mike McDonald. And I didn't really know to expect I was like excited about it and everything. But immediately I'm like, he's the greatest coach in the NFL. I fucking love this guy. I would die for him. I trust him with my life. What were you doing the last eight years? You just like you know, and we want a Super Bowl in

a second season. You don't really tell outdated something is until he get you replace it. Yeah. Oh my God. I unfortunately I think about this. I kind of wonder if Aaron Rogers is going to look great. Okay. Just like what if it just works when he's not busy throwing Rollin Wilson under the bless. Yeah. Well, I mean, he's probably crazy. Well, Greg, this is a great take. It's it's you think they went to the the Stewards win a playoff game. Imagine if McCarthy really wins a playoff. Yeah, I do. I think that. Okay. Do you think it's tough to vision though? Right? Yeah. I don't know. The Steelers are always good against the Ravens. It's like to fucking bangles and then you have the Browns. Like I think the Steelers have the best roster in the division. Can I give a related one to this? Sure. I think the Ravens are also going to be so much better without John Harbour. Oh yeah. Of course. Is that a take-bridge? Oh, maybe it's not. Oh, maybe it doesn't count. I was wondering I'd like a lot better. It is kind of because he now has John Harbour. Because it's coach. Well, that's what I feel like McCarthy coming in has been this punchline. I don't think Mentor and Doyle have been a part of it. Fair enough because like he's really the Mike Brick. You're right. I guess it's not really a take-bridge. It's just like I do agree with you. No one's talking about the Ravens

as a super bowl contender, but it's exactly the same as what the SEALX did. We've P Carol there forever and they hire it. I think that everyone says, and I'm not wrong, that Mike Brick Donald's kind of like the Sean McVeigh of defense. That was a lofty thing, but winning a Super in your two, it kind of is. If that's true, Jesse Mentor's like the Cal Shannon of defense, like especially his dad has been around forever. It's kind of the right comparison. So, all right. It's a ton of take-bridge. It's a good take though. I do agree with it. And I agree with you that kind of feels like Josh Allen in Lamar. Everyone's like moved on past them as like Super Bowl contenders. It's like, wow, there's a new era now and there's like cool plate collars. We have Ben Johnson. And I'd probably just be like, yeah, it's just been on Lamar and Josh Allen. Oh, I get it. This episode is brought to you by Brooks, whether it's for a moment, a mile or a marathon. Brooks knows that when we move together, we become something bigger than ourselves. motivations, and our passions because connection doesn't just help push us forward. It can help lift us up. Let's run there. Learn more at BrooksRunning.com. All right. I've been saving this one. I've been biting my tongue the last couple of weeks because it's been just in the back of my mind for a while now. Anytime we fixate on a player or a team, talk negatively about them for weeks and weeks and weeks, say basically no positive things, I've been very anti this team, which is the Titans. I think Carl Tate is going to smash this year. I think he's going to be a wide receiver two in fantasy. So I think we've quickly forgotten how good he is. I know that he wasn't like considered a Jamar chase level prospect, but this is a former five star guy who has every tool that you want in his bag. I mean, he's like, he was literally the best catcher of the football last year in college football. I mean, he had automatic hands, win at the catchpoint. He can go deep, he can run a full route tree. He's a really good player.

I know that he didn't do anything in the preseason games, but our buddy, Eason Freeze, who covers the Titans says he's looked great in practices, all that stuff. They haven't been scheming anything up for him in these games. I'm like convinced he's actually going to be the guy that we completely missed on in the preseason. I'll do you one further. Sitting number two in my line up here and my take purges that camwards going to be the next Caleb Williams. Yes. Oh, yeah, the big year two. You're too reversal. We are incredibly overreacting to meaningless preseason crap. Yeah. He had a horrible situation in your one with Brian Callahan, a fired coach, a terrible roster, just like Caleb Williams. You have Brian Debal coming in a guy who's Josh Allen, Daniel Jones, like a person that you trust. I think his style works with camward. Camward closed the season, not that bad. Ten touchdowns, one interception in his final seven games. I actually look at it, look this up the other day because I was looking up Tyler Schuck stats. He, the the Titans, how did many touchdowns as the Saints did in the final like eight games of the season? Camward, it wasn't like they were horrible. Camward in 2025 stats looks very close to Caleb Williams in 2024.

And you look at like physically capable arm talent, all that stuff. Also like off-field work ethic, coaches love him swag level. The way that salad talks about him, like this is a guy who I would want to bet on will figure it out. And this and you look at the last three first overall picks at quarterback. You have Trevor Lawrence disaster for season went three and 14. Price young and Caleb Williams. Those are all three guys who have rebounded. Why wouldn't Camward be able to do it? What are they all having common? A coach that immediately got fired. Yes. And they had a better coach. And that I mean, I know solos that had coached defensively, but he has Brian Dable, who offensively, who again, we talked his track record is solid with with Corvax. We were a little worried that because Camward can't run. Brian Dable won't know to do them. But the reality is again, Dable has made everyone better for like 10 years. So we've been afraid of the title. This is good. It is like if, if Cronald is good immediately, we will think a lot about the Jamar chase, can't tell what the white lines on the ball because the ball college and animals different. Like, why did we give a shit about the police? We've just all agreed that Camward's bad. Yeah, it's over. And we've all agreed based on like two preseason games that Cronald takes the worst pick in fantasy. And again, I know I keep saying I'm the last person on earth who thinks Robert Solas,

Jets 10 year is underrated. But I just think the Titans will be good. I think the Titans are, if you just look at every team that came in last place in the division last year, in the AFC, the Titans are the best candidate to win the division. I agree with that. Like, there's always one team every year. Doesn't mean it's a law of nature. But like if the Titans are kind of, there's not many. Maybe an NFC Salty, probably, but yeah, or just also I think, did the lion who came in last place? The lion's did. That was a count. That was because I had the other count. So, okay, I like that one a lot. I also think they have a chance to have a pretty good offensive line, which is such a force multiplier. Yes, they have Cronald take one. I said, I'm like, this is a much better team. This is the number one overall. Picky had one bad year and we're all out. There was like good flashes last year. And the other thing about the Titans, they spent a lot of money for agency. And generally, that's not always a great strategy. But it usually does work in the year you do it. Like those players usually do deliver immediately. That's great. Can I give another one's been weighing on my head and that I really want to talk to you guys about? If the 49ers lose this Australia game, their season is over. It's over. It's over. This is the first

I mean, I like where I like where your heads at. It's the first must win game in week one in NF history. So we just we are coming off of the Super Bowl as the first Super Bowl that is not a must win game for New England Patriots. And now we're have a week one must win game for the Niners. You could give us me that CX Patriots games more important. This one's more important than the Super Bowl. Not everything. But the nine. Here's the thing. So the Niners first of all, we're recording this take perch 30 September 3rd. They're in Australia right now. The Niners are in Australia already. They got their eight days before the game. Did you see Key on White, the defensive end on the Niners? There was a video he's like, I don't know if you can overdose a millitone in, but I'm going to try for the flight. So the Niners are there for eight days. You could Google that, you know. So you can Google that. In Mad, if the Niners are there for eight days, and then the Rams are going to show up like what 16 hours before the game, they're going to play the game. Fashionably late. They're going to be there like 30 hours. If the Niners show up and the Rams just kind of waltz in, whip the Niners butts and then just get on the plane. The 49ers are going to have a 15-hour plane ride back where all they do is bitch about why the fuck were we just in Australia for a week

and it didn't even matter. Now we're on Australia time. Now they go home to their families on Australia time and they're like, that shit didn't even work. And it's going to set the land speed record for how quickly a great coach can lose locker room because everyone's going to be so mad about how long they were there and out of their routine. And you cannot underrate how much athletes give a shit about their routine. Like think about pictures, everything. They're all kind of like that. They're going this plane ride on the way back home from a loss will break the team. We just got to text that they're actually currently on the plane. They have two more hours until they touch ground in Australia. Dude, these guys are we got this slide away. We got fly to where going on here. Um, I want to I want to 180 your take. Oh please do it. Fuck the substation. The Niners are fine. This is not a no season from hell and they're going to win the NFC West. Yeah. If you actually look at what's going on. It's like Ricky Pearson got hurt. He's hurt every year. I don't even know what the Niners are with Ricky Pearson. He's barely played. He's barely played. You have Kaushanahan who miraculously made it through what could have been

something way worse. Yeah. And seems to be okay. You have George Kiddah who's having a miraculous Achilles recovery at 31 years old. Christian McAfry is healthy. Mike Evans is going to play week one. They nailed this random wide receiver that nobody liked in round two. Which is on Stribling. They have the seventh easiest schedule in the league. I think the Rams are super old and top heavy. The Seahawks just lost their Super Bowl MVP and their real Super Bowl MVP, their play collar, Clint Kubiak. And I'm staring at the Niners and I'm like, you know what? Debo, Kiddah, McAfry, Brock, Bernie Kaushanahan. They're going to be fucking good. This is good. This is a great Zach because we have never shot up about this substation. Yeah. And I'm like, our defense is really it's funny. The substation to me is funny. I don't actually believe it's like doing anything really other than it's super ugly. And maybe it makes the vibes go down. Yeah. Just looming over them. Getting bigger with every day. Grush out of rowing. You're casting on them. Yeah. I mean, that should. It's funny. Like a dark cloud. Yeah. I'm kind of just like, we're over thinking this. Niners. How many of these are always fucking good? How much fucking

electricity is buzzing around us right now? Niners won 12 games last year. And everyone's like, we don't need to discuss everyone. Yeah. With the other two West, it's like, is it the Randall? They had like all their guys injured on defense. Yeah. It's quite I don't like that. That's good. But it does make sense. I think that's a phenomenal thing. Feel lighter. How are you doing? I'm feeling good. I'm dropping weight. I love the way you're talking to you. I love the way you're talking to you. Chip. He brought the heat. Rewatchables coming out later today on Talladeganites. Yeah. Hell yeah. With us three. I'm going. I'm sticking in LA. I'm going. Oh, Oh, Marian Hampton is this year's Jonathan Taylor, but it's going to last all year. And by that, I mean, he's going to score. He's going to score three touchdowns in like four or five. Number one. Number one. He's going to score like 20 touchdowns. It's going to like break the touchdown. Yeah. I believe very strongly. We saw this like back in the day with Zika Elliott. I'm not saying that Hampton is Zeke level talent, but just having an offensive line that will dominate the line of scrimmage. Again, such a force multiplier for an offense. I think

the charges if they can stay healthy, which is of course a big if I think we're kind of just assuming they're going to fall apart. Maybe this year, they fucking keep it together. Maybe this is this is the year where the offensive line stays healthy. Herbert really finally reaches his potential and they just score shitload of points. And Hampton is going to be the guy to do that because he's the hammer and in the run game, he's he's a really tough physical downhill runner. And I think he has a chance to just go off in the same way that we saw during the first half of last year, which Jonathan Taylor is just scoring touchdowns left and right. I don't know if he's going to be a big part of the passing game. I think he might be just kind of a dare canary-esque type of runner. But I think we're kind of I think we're not giving the charges enough leeway to actually be healthy like a normal team for one time in the world. Just be normal. Just be normal. Nikki. Just be normal. And obviously, McDaniel neither if you saw obsession. Did you? No, okay. No, sorry. Have it has a high-fix has an opposite take here, I think. Oh, well, he's smirking at me like an asshole. I think both right. If you are going to go the way, I think I think both are right because

I actually I think there's like in a weird way we're we haven't overrated we haven't over-reacted enough to make McDaniel in LA. And then I also think there's the classic pushback where it's like and don't just get hurt. Yeah. Well, I will say I do think once the chargers get hurt will be really embarrassed that we fell for the charger shit again. No, the coach can I think make up for with with his scheme. That's what we've been saying. No, I know. And I great. And it's funny because the chargers the dolphins ran a bunch. The the chargers even with all the micr Daniel stuff are just very acquirable. If you want to just have literally Justin Herbert and Mary and Hampton and the and Camarita Vidal and Keaton Mitchell and Ladmin Conkin Quentin Johnson, it's not even that hard to do. And you don't even have to sacrifice that much to get it. It's very easy to make happen. And on one hand, I agree. Decay I kind of honestly, man, I kind of think Justin Herbert might throw 50 touchdowns this year. If the chargers play the full season, I kind of think Justin Herbert will literally throw 50 touchdowns. Oh my god. Diamond in an ice storm right now. Like I kind of think he'll be MVP and people like I think people like Bill and Sal who have

questioned Justin Herbert will be like take wise washed out to see and everyone who like doesn't believe in Herbert will have to like go back and delete everything because like it's embarrassing. Do you think they can hurt we're those people who fall for it's really embarrassing and it's one of the other. Do you think the Herbert thing is weirdly like generational? I feel like people over a certain age are out on Herbert and people under a certain age are sticking with them. The old heads. I think she's the old head, you know, I think some of the younger people like his my dad loves Herbert. He's old. I have friends with like he hasn't want to play off game. It's that it's the old it's the boomer or like yes. Found a I think boomers hate Herbert. It's me the playoff game thing infuriates me because with Herbert just because how many quarterbacks last year get the chargers and their eight left tackles to the playoffs. It's like LeBron Michael Jordan never lost the finals. Well I'm sorry Michael Jordan couldn't drag those shitty other teams to the finals like LeBron did you know what I mean LeBron's punished for making the fire on record saying LeBron is better than MJ that's what you're saying. Uh, Michael Jordan should have drag sorry couldn't get past the pistons MJ sorry it took all you needed that is Rod so the answer is yes you're saying LeBron's better than Michael Jordan.

Take purge. Uh yeah fuck it whatever. That's good. That's good. The basically what I'm saying this is funny that's coming in a take purge because I actually do feel this way in my heart in my real life in whatever what's the opposite of uh when you're in the your Audi. Yeah yeah your Audi. I don't believe in curses like a curse a curse is not a real thing you don't believe in curses no I don't believe in a curse I don't think it's a real thing the fucking charges are actually curses. I'm an adult so please. You guys remember when we were in shock you were watching games one week at Bill's house and it was and it was giant to playing the Ravens. Oh you did the little and Justin Tucker was who at the time none of the stuff had come out and Justin Tucker at the time had made like 40 consecutive I think it was more than that field goals under 60 yards and there was a 43 yard field goal which hadn't missed in four years and I went up and I do a little X in front of the field for an important TV and all of you looked at me and I didn't know that you didn't and you looked at me like I was insane and you were like there was no chance that that stupid XU drill will have an impact on the kick right and then he missed the kick yeah that's a coincidence

have you ever done the X and it didn't work in your life it's perfect yeah yeah 100% sure in front of you guys you know you had no you had no impact on that outcome you don't believe in curses at all I don't I believe in like the idea of a curse infecting the minds of the players I believe that I think at a baseline has is absolutely true yeah sure I'm not like against that yeah the substation thing is actually the real example that we're broken Tate and the players now actually kind of believe it and that affects them at the minimum I have a I had a mini fallup now that you said the Herbert 50 touchdowns thing I had a mini purge fallup which is that Quentin Johnson's just gonna outscore Ladman conky this year yeah and end up being the number one wider see around this team and then you do that last year and he's basically not not counting stats because he missed some games but I think I'm like Quentin Johnson's just going to be the next Devonte Adams where it took a little bit right Devonte Adams didn't have a thousand yards until his fifth season in the league this is Quentin Johnson's fourth and he finally has the offense in the situation to do it maybe this is I saw one preseason play but I when you look at a lot of

the stuff you did last year when he was healthy with Herbert one in parentheses yeah one I mean while my camor don't look at that preseason crap I'm like but Quentin Johnson look at that but I do think there's a chance that look maybe it's just like Lad's white and I'm like he'll settle into a nice little role playing situation as a gritty little slot guy but I do think Quentin Johnson there's a shot that this season ends and he has like 1400 yards in 10 touchdowns and we're like oh it is kind of funny that we're like afraid to say that the six foot four guy with a four three speed is good right you know what I mean like he was a first round pick right for some pick higher than Lad Makankey correct and we're afraid to say he's good while we're on the charges I have to give one more take perch so Carlos is not on the show anymore but Carlos asked me to do a take person as well he's a proxy purge a proxy purge a surrogate purge if you will Carlos wants it known that Tuha will still win a playoff game before Justin Herbert oh my god wait is he a Boomer is you hold his car you mean on the bench I started he will he'll watch his team win a playoff

game from the bench he is after the preseason he saw he's like I don't care too is still going to win a playoff game for Herbert this is actually a fucking great take that Tuha might actually be good this year it's amazing that's that's like too hot for this because high fits was out on Tuha because he fumbled a snap no the other way he did it twice the fumble snap was bad than anything that was too small for me twice from the twice Shem on me right I was afraid of Tuha because what he did when he kept the ball in his hands it might have been worse that's fair I thought that was incredible I like that and and all right Carlos is now the resident Boomer of the so he also fucking hates the moment of Zen which is one of the greatest takes over that is the best take maybe in the history the show's Carlos hates that moment he doesn't not like it he hates it yes yes I mean Carlos hates Guinness we're at the Guinness factory it's like you think they got a Moscow mule yes it's overrated doesn't like baseball he's just fucking calling it it's amazing that's great he's like baseball that's he's also debunking my Herbert generational Boomer theory so can I all right I have another purge if I can spill one this is this is like it's not just

takes that you're afraid you say there's also intrusive thoughts so it's not a take this is like something that keeps coming up in my head you're worried about it that I actually like really you don't want to believe and I have not verbalized this like I just think I keep thinking about it I think Patrick Mahomes was gonna tear his ACL again oh my god what is that about because he's reading he's rushing back and he's gonna re-engineer it that is part of it but the other reason is so Josh Simmons the left tackle no this you I this is not just like a thing so it's like a premonition so yes so Josh Simmons the left tackle he has this move where he basically it's it sounds funny to describe it but you kind of grab by the shoulder pads and throw them down to your left like it looks great in individual drill it's gonna hit him into his legs yes and he know who has an it and it's the actual name of it you know everyone calls things different names it called it snatch technique because you basically imagine drill in the line and throws the defensive endgown here's yeah you know who thinks that this is a terrible move with Patrick Mahomes coming off a 20 ACL and

thinks that that is really putting Patrick Mahomes at risk Mitchell Schwartz who was the right tackle for the chiefs when they won the first Super Bowl and was like the best player on their offensive line that year just keeps posting on Twitter that Josh Simmons should not be using that technique because it eventually Patrick Mahomes will be there and he's gonna be in the pocket more this season because of the mobility and he thinks they should stop he's Josh Simmons shouldn't do that anymore and Josh Simmons is still doing it and it's really weird this is high fits his version of I hope you have beautiful articulate sons and they lose their legs I hope their legs you're playing with no I'm not don't you put that evil on me I'm not just sitting there like oh he'll come back on his e-sail the right tackle of the chiefs is like wow that is a very weird technique to use with Mahomes very vulnerable this year this is a grim take yeah I was like I don't know about that but a grim yes put it this way every chiefs snap the first month of the season I'm just watching Josh Simmons that's fair so are you like completely out on Mahomes and fantasy like oh it's not a

take I'm just when the game is on I'm gonna be watching Josh Simmons and if you just some rolling defense events do some of your weird voodoo x things there's some is the is your an opposite of that if you make a circle does the player score have to find out okay yeah we'll do that it works every time do like you know anyway that's a real do you have any other intrusive thoughts like that where it's like I don't want that to happen I just keep keeps coming up now that you say that yes I do okay this is I so what we've pissed Austin off we've pissed Nikhil off Raiders bears don't you fucking do it Craig I don't want to believe this I and I don't believe it but there's something a kernel inside me where I'm like what if Darnell just turns back into a pump he did he was second in the NFL in turn over he was first my guy oh first fuck uh I'm kind of like so Darnell we had Kyle Shanahan when he was a backup then he had Kevin O'Connell and Minnesota and he clink Kubia and I'm like okay so now he has this guy Brian Flurry on the the Niners tight ends coach I'm like Sam Darnell led the NFL in turnovers last year are we underrating click Kubiak

leaving in this current situation that Darnell does under where I fix where a lot more pressure is going to be on him and I'm like what if it's a fucking mess and everyone's like should we bring back Darnell and then that and then we're just right back and then it's it's honestly member when Gino Smith left Seattle what happened to him I'm like what if that just happens to Sam Darnell this is a masterpiece I don't like it um it is a worry okay mine has it parted back your head part of the reason that the C-hux one the Super Bowl are a big part of the reason the C-hux one the Super Bowl obviously their defense is awesome yeah Darnell had zero turnovers in the playoffs after leading the NFL in turnovers in the regular season he had 11 fumbles last year um and it was always kind of the thing that's it's the expression stuck in my cry it stuck in my cry really bothered me the whole season I'm just like can you just be normal can you just go one game without doing the CJ Stratt thing where you fucking freak out and give the ball to the other team four times that's all I need you to do be normal Nikki I can't that's Darnell yeah yeah and I love Darnell like he got us that Super Bowl I fucking love him will be loyal to him forever from now on

but we're in the take purge it's a worry it's a legitimate worry I don't want to believe that I liked Darnell I want him to have success I'm not rooting for this at all but it's something that is like deep in my gut yeah yeah do you have anything like that like an intrusive thought or anything just to take you more get off your chest this is more of just a I it's been in the back of my head I don't know why we haven't really brought it up or talked about it but like this like Buka injury is probably a big deal and I think Chris Godwin's gonna just flat out outscore uh Mika Buka this year I think we're also forgetting about Chris Godwin too much he was coming off a fucking major like leg ankle break that is really debilitating when you get back the first year back prior to that injury he was the YRSEVER 2 in fantasy that's correct wide receiver 2 in this with the same quarterback obviously a little bit different offense different offensive coordinator but I I still do think he's going to be a high volume receiver for them out of the slot he's healthy now no one's talked about him I haven't talked about it once I don't think this whole preseason maybe one time tk we're kind of vibing right you know the two avatar people

to not be they connect their ponytails yeah I had at the bottom my list you're sitting here as Chris Godwin's gonna be a top 15 YRSEVER this year I just think he I Baker Mayfield's talking about it on a serious interview the other day that he he looks like the old Godwin he looks like he's ready to do what he was doing before he got hurt um and he's now like a year and a half removed from this injury yes and I I think we're probably like trying to wish cast that wish cast this Buka injury into it's probably as turfto right it's the take lock it's the desperation like we we we loved him before he got hurt now it's like fuck in my body and shifter are gonna post like yeah he's missing week one he's turfto he'll be back don't worry and then you're like oh my god I spent my fourth pick on someone with fucking turfto or more or higher Godwin was the second best wide receiver in fantasy in 2024 for half the season he was on pace for 121 catches dislocated his ankle came back last year played a couple games kind of got hurt again but he really finished right he tried to come back too quickly he did yeah he finished the season playing five games this is again coming right off the dislocated ankle he was the 24th best wide receiver average 11 points of game last

year now Mike Evans gone Buka to Mick Millen is still dealing with a knee Ted Hirst is a rookie kind of like Chris Gardner is just sitting there we I don't know why we haven't brought this up in regular talk he's 30 you know like this almost is not a take perch it's almost just like we should have probably been talking about this for the last month yeah yeah that's a great one DK I'm in lockstep all right I know V what is it called the Navi yeah the Navi the ringer fantasy football show is sponsored by Fandall before the season every team is undefeated every fan believes this could be the year the year their team wins the division makes the playoffs lifts the trophy and with Fandall you can bet on any of it from who will win it all

hmm what else is on your mind son is fantasy I have like random things about players but something that I really have just truly just been a take I need to purge doing all these drafts now I really wish I could just take the sea hawks or Texans and like round 10 of my fantasy drafts but I'm a coward because I'm like a professional and I'm not supposed to but every time someone does and I'm taking like Rashad white I'm like fuck I wish I could just have this is you know it's funny when Chang was talking about Cam little he's like look at the points he scored just amazing he's always I was kind of like fuck well that's dumb the kicker thing is ridiculous to me but he's talking to me in points I can't really argue take him over Brad and Aubrey I'm like that's stupid like kickers it's hard to predict I will say yeah they're logs they're logs they're all the same some other fucking kicker is gonna do that this year it used it's some other fucking kicker I don't know cares it's it used to be you take a defense in the second last round and a kicker in the last round and now all

the nerds got all up it and they're like you know defense is even less predictable than kickers now so you should take a kicker in the second last round then take a defense in the last one don't even roster a defense or just play matchups yeah yeah just do that every week and then like I go and I'm like oh well now I have to play matchups every week now you're like I got to start the bangles and in the ass yeah and I'm like kicker no I don't even I have a lot of teams I don't even have a kicker on my roster right now because I'm like I'd rather like hold out to see if I'm running back it's hurt and I'm gonna have kickers on my team but the defenses defenses a little more stable year to year now I'm like I there's five I really want it's like Seahawks Texans Ravens I think will be great with Jesse Menter the Vikings the Rams is just a fun one and when those five are gone I'm like man wish I had one I feel like Squidward watching SpongeBob and Patrick play and I'm like that must be cool to not think about that anymore yeah it's a bit of the bell curve where like sometimes the guy who studies the least it's just like I remember like 10 years ago a guy one our league or maybe got like second or something and he took like the Bears defense and the

and like the fifth round and everyone's like you're such a f***er that the Clio Mackere yes the Bears scored like 23 points a game and I was like this is the single best asset in the league right now is the f***er's defense there was a yeah there was a year the Patriots 2019 remember when they started the scene go startled here well they had a bunch of defensive touchdowns they kept scoring there there was I mean it was the most incredible beginning to a half season ever the Patriots defense was like one of the top 10 extra arts and fantasy I'm like man they're gonna be so good I kind of said going up against Cam War Daniel Jones and Trevor Lawrence every year I'm like I'm taking that elite defense well why aren't you it's like because I'm smart yeah I study this all the time this is why I don't want the good one I'll take Michael Pittman instead yeah there's very much to like a when we talk about something on a pod and then we don't do it on like a public in a public forum people like what the f*** you told me to yeah you told me this that or the other why I had to put my money on my mouth with with Lutherbird yeah I appreciate that we for better for worse we took her out advice so yeah I just kind of like hmm I like that one

I kind of had the same thoughts in the and I was like wait do we need to revisit why we're not doing this no we probably don't like with the defenses it's really everything anyways I'm going back to the Buccaneers oh Buccaneers are a team I'm wanting to bet on this year and it is related to their offensive line you know potentially being top five top three maybe even the best offensive line in the NFL if everything falls right I think Bucky Irving is one of the best values in drafts trying to we haven't talked about it Matt all we have it that's good like at all basically I think and the assumption is and a lot of times these assumptions will end up right but a lot of times too they're just completely wrong based on what we're what everybody kind of agrees on in the preseason the assumption right now is that Bucky Irving is small and slow that was what the assumption was when he's coming into the NFL too and he had an incredible rookie year you know he was one of the best values and drafts that year he was the starter for that team he split reps with Rashad White and he still had a great season I think it was like RB 17 or something you could have gotten him in the last round of your drafts um this year and by the way last year he averaged 20

touches a game he was the fourth in in touches a game he was fourth behind like Christian McCaffrey B. John Robinson and maybe it was like Jonathan Taylor you're not worried about Kenny Gainwell well I think Kenny Gainwell is just the new Rashad White I think they will split time I think there's very few running backs are just going to get like all the carries um but I still think they trust him and I think he's a very good running back he's still I love this he's healthy now like last year he had a shoulder injury and an ankle injury or no sorry a List Frank injury which is terrible is like incredibly painful every time he's like trying to cut or run um yeah and so I don't know to be honest like it feels like we've gone way too far on the reaction to Bucky Irving's season last year when he was hurt though offensive line was hurt and Baker Mayfield was hurt and they also didn't really give him any red zone touches but his rookie year they did so I don't know I I just think we're we're overreacting to this Bucky thing and he has a chance to be just like a really productive high touch guy this is an excellent take and I actually have another Bucky Niers take it's not fantasy related but I think Ruben Bane the defensive end out of Miami that Bucky

Niers got with the 15th pick fuck yeah do it is going to not only win defensive rookie the year he is literally going to be a Hall of Famer and him falling to 15th in the draft will have been infinite I'm not going to say he'll win defensive player the year I maybe not this year but I do actually think Ruben Bane's like a Hall of Fame caliber defensive player and we are but his arms are short half time of week one we are going to be like oh my god how did we let how did Ruben Bane fall in the draft and we're going to talk about him on the draft show every year as the when guys with weird measurables are great in college stop thinking about it yeah Aaron Donald you know how like yeah you know how like in fantasy draft there's always a couple players who fall like Kyron Williams or something for some fake reason exactly and then the second somebody drafts him everybody goes fuck the pick the second Ruben Bane got drafted I was like great pick it walking down the tunnel he said the record for me he walked down the tunnel and he just that whole like mirror selfie stage with the hat he just grabbed the hat and kept walking I'm like Hall of Famer yeah and and then every single thing the preseason of how professional football also doesn't

wear gloves I do he's he's just yeah go he isn't he's a great one also it's it's so funny because the bank the Buckeneers reaction when he was there at 15 for them was so class they were like fuck what what like we had we had no under no scenario did we think that this was going to happen they they like basically were like there's no world in which Bane is available for us they had been connected to his teammate messador the entire pre-jaff process and they're like fuck we get like the guy who's however many years younger and just better and man yeah so I really like that take the Buckeneers maybe we're just all in on the back I know damn bucks yeah that's fun I like when we kind of come together late this season for a team um I have one that like this is more of an aggravation and just something I feel like you know we're overextending a little bit I kind of think we're dulling out offensive coordinator jobs for 30 year olds a little too much this is ready to get the next thing then I think the the young guru OC bubble is gonna pop

we got we got declin Doyle David blow Davis web Sean Manion I'm like are these coaches there's just a new cast of X bed I can't tell let's go through these declin Doyle 30 years old he younger than you guys he was in OC for one year in Chicago wasn't calling plays behind Ben Johnson there's a real shot declin Doyle doesn't remember 9-11 that's how young he was five when 9-11 happened you have David blow for the commanders 31 years old he was the assistant quarterbacks coach for two years in Washington not even not even the quarterbacks coach assistant quarterbacks coach to the quarterbacks coach that's his entire coaching experience is that you have Davis web the Broncos offensive pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for one year and is now calling plays with Sean with Sean paying breathing down his neck Sean Manion Sean Manion for the Eagles is 34 years old his coaching history his entire coaching history 2024 he was the offensive assistant for the Packers and he was the quarterbacks

coach last year that's it now he's the offensive play caller for Jalen Hertz sick one partly this is excellent yeah also you think about just all these guys kind of sit in the office like so what happened to the last guy like Sean Manion's in Philly like oh what happened to the last guy oh yeah people um egged his house yeah he was literally run out of town literally run out of time this is fantastic and I think it speaks to something it's there's just a shortage it's like this is a a role and there's not that many people there are a few more jobs at this point than people who can do it because I think are there any offensive coordinators that have been in offensive coordinator at this point for three consecutive seasons I think I don't think there's any left it you know it gets a little funny 80 reads really the court you see versus play call right but the title though see I don't think anyone's been there more than three years in any role and they're running out of people who can do it because there's no pipeline they're finding kids playing madden on twitch giving them jobs it is true that might be kind of an edge we talked about this at the end of last season as a tattoo a Gen Z coordinator yeah I don't know we're like it doesn't make more sense to cut and we're shitting on them now to focus on the guys that we know

are good are Ben Johnson in the Bears with the number one pick Caleb Williams Liam Cone in the Jags the number one pitch Trevor Lawrence and we were like Mike Daniel in the charges and Herbert yeah those guys are good men in their 40s every yeah everyone else who's like isn't marinating in the same system I mean Jen Daniels in Washington it's really concerning like David Blau no what's what's he doing I don't know no one knows because the truth is you know who's really nervous for them those guys like they're really not worried like it's it's incredibly nerve-racking we just got there like like a million things to do it I mean you've kind of talked about this before in the past like the checklist of things like that a quarterback has to do before the snap like think about how quickly the OC has to get the call in he's looking at his car five seconds panicking like oh god and like by the way you see this a lot on the plate on the sideline they're still trying to figure out like was that a first down where'd they mark that down yeah what do I do I start over a a series now like a first down like hitting the middle of the game it's a lot ball his balls drop in the quarter dude and Davis web of the Broncos that's basically just Reese Bob A.D.

and he's just like screaming in Davis web like come on son come on be real soon yeah yeah that's true you got hair on your peaches or what Davis web's gonna be coaching with a live cougar next to him that is this is really good I just I'm like we're getting we're really getting great we're flirting with just hiring dudes in their 20s like we're getting that's cool I think that could go might have been 29 when they hire him this is really good we're just really really getting close uh speaking of which I have a few I kind of just want to rattle some off okay and I don't even know if these are gonna rattle you guys or not I only have a couple more that I are many are minis I want to throw lingering just a few at you one I just don't think my Emmy's gonna win a game oh oh and six oh and 17 I don't think that you think my Emmy is clearly the worst team behind even Arizona or Cleveland I tried talking myself into like what if they're better than you think and then you I'm like you look at that receiver that mulek willis is being set up to feel I actually like him he's a very nice guy I want him to succeed sure I am the dolphins

receiver been really is the worst I've ever seen it's worse than like that jets one ever made fun of in like 2019 it's the worst receiver group I've ever seen the offensive line I actually think it's quite a bit of potential but man they are raw like Hayden Proctor at guard like they're big but I think they all could be good but this is a raw team H&N was great under Mike McDaniel and then I'm like they're linebacker like the green play callers can be Jacob Rodriguez who I like in college but that's a rookie green dot play calling linebacker like it is like a little bit like Ted last of season one like they're trying to like embarrass themselves it I they want archmaning man and I actually want them to be good but I don't know they they high fives I'm just looking at their roster and our lads there on the lead they have zero depth like they have some good players on defense but if anybody gets hurt it's going to fucking collapse like a house of cards because like you I'm just looking at their like just the people who are the second team players it's a bunch of undrafted players and free agents and they're just like filling out yeah but we're no one's talking

about it enough this is like what when the last time you feel like a team has kind of like soft tanks so openly it's the dolphins so in the browns so here's first I take the tanking thing very seriously it's not like the NBA where the coaching staffs a little bit a little in on it and they're like that's the deal because you can't die playing basketball but football so physical that you can a coach can never lead a locker room of men where they think you're trying to lose the whole thing everything you're doing for risking your life your body players need to try to win so in football the front offices set the coach up to fail and the coach kind of knows the deal so like the implications and a lot of these losses from Ryden floors allegations like Hugh Hugh Jackson the oh and 17 browns why was it not fired if you're not winning a game it was kind of maybe he understood the assignment he may be understood the assignment Brian Forrest in these like legal things is saying Stephen Ross like maybe allegedly offered him money to lose per loss like the dolphin they've already the first round picked for that yes like it was a real it's a real thing and so like this team has already tried this recently they're trying to lose

and so I yeah they when they want a quarterback so I think the really dolphins might not win again I do think the the leadership of this team is not being set up to fail they just know that there yeah this is a rebuild but you know I can I zoom out a little bit I want to I want to dip my toe into college football as we head into the season and we prepare for the 2027 draft class I think archmaning is just Marvin Harrison Jr. for quarterbacks and we're just doing it all over again because of the name we're looking at the name on the back is that this is this is famous family blindness and we're just doing it again and every the the march for arch some whoever what poor team is going to my arch madness they're calling bill of soccer match madness is great wow the dolphins are going to take archmaning he's gonna suck that's what I think I'm not prepared to have a take on this yet I like this take I'm just fun take this guy's not that good but it means manning it's it's just Marvin Harrison Jr. is good maybe he'll be fine like Marvin Harrison Jr. is fine but he's not generational

and we're just doing it again it's funny because also the problem is he's generational let's right let's let's literally generational maybe he'll be calling plays for dissolved in 2030 that's not bad that's pretty good uh do you guys have any I have we were going to do one non football one we have a more football yes can I we'll count throughout a couple of intrusive thoughts I've had recently won I think Jay-Jama Carthie's so bad in the NFL that I actually think the Michigan cheating scandal is worse than I thought yeah he had the answers to the test I keep like I need to see him improve before I I might have to revisit my my expectations were low but holy fuck yes we should make that a category oh we have I think a random one I have so this is like a real intrusive thought and if you say this outside to take purge I will deny that I ever said this I will never know naturally as a yeah as a giants fan I would never stoop to say something like this I kind of want to watch Jerry Jones win a Super Bowl

on here I have like can we all be real Jerry won the Michael Barsen's Jerry what the Mike and trade that was a year ago this episode it was the Mike and trade a year ago he cares so much right this was on the take this last year holy shit Jerry the kind of a winning then what happened Cowboys are kind of cooking right now they got Candy Clark quitting Williams Malik R.I.N. they rebuilt their defense they got a fourth that they traded back from a pick that they got from Michael Parsons that turned into Roshan Gary if they have it down so embarrassed they have a top right now they have a top 10 defense by points for game I think you could call it I that's good I think Jerry knew Michael Parsons was gonna tear his ACL he doesn't know where the Sun's gonna be what he knew the ACL was 10 it's a Ricky it's a Ricky ACL he knew he knew and he let it happen I I love that here's the thing I don't want to cabbage when the Super Bowl this is great I don't want to act when the Super Bowl you want Jerry Jerry for God damn I want Roger Cadillac and Jerry Jones at Trowff on a podium I would pay a

disgusting amount of money to hear what Jerry Jones says into a microphone to 120 million people holding a lumbar to trophy I wanted to happen before it dies I'm kind of with high fits on this one I didn't I had never thought about that until right now and I'm like you know what I agree Kosan you just get it just go would we're never gonna see that again so we get to see Sal yeah yeah no one no one wants the Cowboys fans just Jerry just I want the Cowboys fans uh any other football ones you guys have no I'm cooked I feel like I feel like that's a good natural spot okay end with the football takes in particular okay D.K. Do you have a to be non-fouple take you want to get off your your your chest here I'm I apologize in advance if I've already told this to you guys and or if I've already said this on the podcasts but bacon ruins everything except for bacon you're such a piece of shit who the sick fuck respectfully with all do respect who the fuck do you think you walk walk in here and say that to me first of all one question how dare you um so let's go through this I because I believe a few days ago Daniel you told me that you bought a

BLT oh it was a club right you bought a club sandwich and took the bacon off yeah yeah why did you not just order a turkey sandwich because they didn't have one on the menu okay it was really yeah it was like a limited maze like it died it was a room service so you're eating a club sandwich and you're like if the bacon were gone this would be so much better no when the bacon is gone it is better what about a BLT no I just think bacon I don't really eat BLTs what about just this bacon is bacon is bacon is good on its own I like to taste the bacon smell of bacon hash brown the smell of bacon is great yeah if you're just eating it like a piece of bacon okay I like to taste a bacon not saying bacon bacon tastes bad I like it on its own and it's when it's cooked right it's like fucking delicious and it smells great but when it's in other food it fucking it's just like you're eating bacon flavored something other and I don't like that it's really good flavor it's like chocolate and it deserves it overpowers everything your thing no I'm saying I don't like the flavor of bacon in other stuff it's like I don't like mint in ice cream but I chew mint gum it's not a good combo to

me bacon is like mint is somehow more controversial I just don't like well I don't like to your chocolate I don't like fruit in chocolate I just want the chocolate I don't like strawberries would you go bacon on a burger no no I like the taste of a burger if I handed you a BLT for lunch and it was that or like would you would you rather eat the BLT or do you rather eat the LT yeah just let us into my house I mean I don't think I would do that I think BLT is the best sandwich wow I think is this rattling that off I just think it's the simplest best flavors I feel like the purest balance of three flavors I think it's like the most perfect example of a sandwich from a flavor profile you know it's funny to say that because it's really just like the American version of like a Capraza really I guess always like prosciutto in that yeah isn't it Capraza just mozzarella tomato yeah I got that wrong I think just I had me I feel like not having kai on this podcast is bad for my because now you're being out now I'm like the fucking little kid like a palette guy yeah but no little kid step right

up the little kid palette guy is this fucking guys I don't want to go after Craig in these non-fipple takes unless you don't love yours no go ahead my I don't have anything I don't well I don't know I don't know how you guys will feel about any of my takes I never I love plastic bags what I love plastic bags what does that even mean and I feel like you mean getting shamed at the grocery store to get paper back yeah like in the grocery store or a CVS just saying you go and you have a plastic bag yeah and now we're trying to get rid of plastic bags and I want my plastic bags back and I hate that people with the cotton tote bags are like shaming me and cotton totes are now like this status symbol and I'm like a bad person if I forgot my cotton tote and I dare need to have a plastic bag I hate that and I need plastic bags I like having them around and I don't want to be judged for having a plastic bag if it's just litters constantly I do think there's something to this take where the plastic bag shame is like big corporations somehow like

it's turning it around like it's awful oh it's like oh the nuclear waste that you're pouring into the river that would look at it don't look at the animals covered in oil that guy's using a straw dare him use a fucking plastic bag it's like paper straws don't work all this stuff and I'm not saying I don't care about plastic or the environment I do however the cotton tote thing first of all do you know how many time first a woven cotton uses a lot of water do you know many times you have to use we don't have to no we don't have to bring down the people that are using totes I'm gonna it's the New York Times have this article do you know many times you have to use a woven cotton tote to offset the water that it created because the answer is 400,000 times though and I have 20 of them I Jesus the way I can pay well what's the stats on the plastic how many fucking animals are you killing with that thing it's fine it's fine oh my don't look at it he's I will say I I use paper towels that's such a reckless rate same I love using paper towels

they're compostable or compost compost compostable compostable compostable compostable is that right I don't even know well I like I love using just like mounds of paper towels for shit yeah I know it's like maybe you're supposed to use a rag or something you can wash but like I just the plastic dude I have a cat I got to clean my litter you want me to use a giant fucking hefty garbage bag for that's like no I'm a little plastic bag there's a plastic bag you know the you know the tweet the famous tweet that it's like please people my family starving helped me fix my budget and it's like you know five like food rent whatever medical bills and then $1,300 for candles that's how I feel about like people making a big deal about plastic bags I'm like there's so many bigger fucking problems right now we need to concentrate on Rick and Morty line where Morty takes an aluminum can out of a garbage and puts it in recycling and it feels good about himself and Rick is like congrats Morty aluminum is 8% of the earth good luck with that I I use totes I'm gonna I'll say I don't judge him for not using totes but I use totes so get off my fucking bag I just I've wrong the using a toe it's just it's it's not better than the bags it's just

that's some belling him hippie shit yeah you're right you're right you're just you know I'm just people know I use them all the time I should I like we I own and I never take them to the grid I always forget you forget the bag your car I walked to the grocery store rain in this city God forbid I've pop paper bags and Whole Foods God forbid it rains of these coast and I'm like fuck this is everything this is like that this is like finding one stat it's like people who drink 12 beers a day live exactly as long as and I'm like that's all you had to say I'm drinking 12 beers a day there's yeah there's one alcohol in two hundred everyone's like let's do that say last I'm doing it all the other ones died at 50 but that guy lives if it's this is hyper focused on this water stat that like means nothing all right Craig um I think magician should be the most famous people in the world we don't give them the new they're the new saints we don't give them like in the way that we use the revere pilots you know they like wear suits down the in the terminal like oh my god what magicians man you ever seen a magician in person it's fucking crazy they're basically deities

I don't know how they do any of their shit they should be way more famous David Blaine should be the most famous person in the fucking world he's the one the craziest shit you've ever seen it's the closest to literal Jesus why why do they have such a terrible people don't I get I get job interested like a man to be taking seriously I'm fucking crazy the shit they do castle in a way can you explain the magic castle has never been there oh my god dude the magic castle it's just basically it's like the best magicians in Los Angeles it's the rest of the development the society is based on the magic castle it's a real place where it's like they have a restaurant and then like crazy magicians stuff and I honestly the most fun in the rad in this fucking city was walk around magic we went on our senior trip back in high school and one of the stops on the senior trip was like you know how I don't know if you can't do that in California or not but like senior trip senior trip where everybody goes on an overnight trip on and like a bus takes you told like five different places and everybody hangs out not do you do that you mean like sorry I don't know it's like a senior party at night type thing yeah kind of problem no no no it was like

we would do like an all night thing that the high school sponsor on graduation yes that's what it's okay so anyways we did this on our graduation I don't think it was the same day but whatever and one of the stops was this magician and people were fucking going bananas like getting up out of their seat right it up and down like freaking out it was the craziest shit I've ever seen in my life fucking mega celebrities this is like how I feel about Cirque du Soleil I'm like these people these people should be revered like my buddy talking about my buddy for his birthday hired a magician for like 15 of us and it was incredible he blew my mind she stood right in front of us he was five feet in front of me I watched him like fill a coat can with soda after he poured it out I don't know how he did that yes sometimes like slide of hand is not it's not an acceptable answer like no I was watching his hands yeah it didn't work we think about uh publisher who obviously has been in the news because Kauai Leonard and the Clipper just got the big punishment about os so he wins the Pulitzer and then it comes out the first thing he's like

owes the man a list not actually reading people's minds and I was like all right how is this the Pulitzer I agree it's like I didn't want to know that yeah obviously I know he has a trick up his sleeve that's the point I agree I kind of wanted to know though with that one I always want to sound out and you know what the answer sucked and I did that's that's he uses like a fake no don't tell him oh but because that's like I just saw the thing out of a jishan it's more like fraud yeah when the night is guy knows that everyone gets angry yeah anyway well that's really good take out of nowhere fantastic sure you pulled that out out of your ass and I liked it remember when David David Blaine has like the best special ever uh if you made a fucking space shuttle despair through the Harrison Ford one where he's like get out of my house you just look out of my house um do you remember do you remember that space shuttle thing hmm I don't know I think it was David Blaine what was the one night oh oh it was Franz

Harari wow where am I what were we talking about what are those things how long has it been were we talking about were we just cryogenic crowds and clowns I don't know wow anyway I can't wait to draft Brock Bowers this year yeah stillers are gonna suck bowers is the shit man I'm excited about arch this year looks good I'm excited what totally no you're talking about hate magician oh email is good so I want everyone to email us at ringer fantasy football I don't know what happened in our field way lighter though I feel like I just took a 10 pound shit I want ever to email us at ringer fantasy football gmail.com emails your take purges and also you can join our discord where there is a channel for take purges that is gonna be open for a couple more days and yeah email email the take purge just put post of me discord and we'll post the best ones there's a lot already I don't know even know when we're gonna run this because there's like more good ones that are anticipated to be honest but I want to see everyone's take purges yeah I love it

Berlin walking down that's that's that's on the you can there's a little bit of leeway there but it's spiritually spiritually really 80s like it takes a couple years for the decade to end culturally and then it like begins like a 91 or 92 is really when the 80s and the 20th century the 20th century ended in Berlin wall 90s are this weird in between and then 9 11 is like the 21st century everything in the 90s was like a little silo cherry pie create one hold on actually I don't know anything about warrant yeah I was gonna say I just I'm so stupid you ever just Google I googled cherry pie and I'm like what the fuck did I think come up I don't know much about warrant goddamn it now I'm trying to get this is what's great about the 80s glam metal formed in 84 and Hollywood they were formed not far from here no who is this which I love maybe in this guy they had a success from 89 to 96 why do all these people look like Val Kilmer their debut album was dirty rotten filthy stinking rich awesome in the eighties you know yeah what was the what was the debut decay used to dirty rotten filthy stinking rich was the name of their first album yeah man

I'm just not doing like that knew what to do they also had an album called doggy dog okay sick are they American did you say that they were formed in Hollywood yeah American glam metal nice glam metal yeah glam metal because they're really glamorous but they're metal I love it 80s month is crazy it's gonna be an amazing playlist she's mad there's so many bands dude like like 38 special cheap trick the the corner the names I think we're the best we're gonna get into all there's a lot of place names Boston Europe for sure in America America I don't know Boston yeah Boston's got some bangers the what's the I always confuse Boston songs in Europe songs but they're not Boston's like four play long time more than a feeling more than a feeling right but Boston I believe is like a little bit more 70s yes I think they started a little Boston told her they sound 70s more 70s

to me they said I would guess they're late 70s early 80s the fucking bg's are also kind of late 70s the band the Boston was formed in Boston in 75 so yeah I can that one I bet I could have guessed that one yeah no 80s is like 80s get fucking weird 80 songs are like bordering on like is this bad or it's like really early like futuristic sounds like Eurasia you know like rush sure like rush dude I my Jackie's dad is like you do a lot of songs like that he showed me rush we played that album 2112 on the Russian Power Drive I was like this is the greatest thing I've heard it's you go on a journey do they're like also journey journey do that rush out of them the concept is they're like they just find a time traveling guitar and these like eight L it's like interstellar elders are like good lay the guitar and you'll find your way yeah I love that shit I had I had friends here's I still have friends that are in like I don't know with glam

metal or just a like hair rock bands like cover bands they're in them right now yeah it's like this this has really like established itself in the heart of my specific generation that's cool yeah I'm excited for 80s month and I'm excited for the NFL season with you boys yeah email email your 80s a suggestion oh that's your lady this is your last show in LA yes I well so we're doing this backwards this is we're recording the players nobody's talking about yes but as the people hear it as the people hear it this is the last one in person and we'll peek behind the curtain yeah well I we could do LA breakdowns when I was gonna do the next oh we could do that yeah I wanted to do LA breakdowns there great all right goodbye everyone you must be 21 plus and present in select states for Kansas in affiliation with Kansas star casino
