And now, here is Andrea Ties.
US Senator Tommy Tuberville says he will do whatever it takes to get the Save America Act onto the Senate floor in order to get that bill passed.
Tuberville has spoken with the bill's sponsor, Mike Lee of Utah, on how a talking filibuster can be imposed upon the Democrats who are opposed to the bill.
Tuberville was on the Benny Johnson podcast saying that the bill is critical in securing future elections so they're not cheated on by those who want to seize control of the US government by any means possible.
Yeah, if the talking filibuster, and again, if we've discussed this at hours length with Mike Lee, a lot of people thinks it will work and won't work.
You know, I don't know enough about it and I've looked at it and read about it and it's pretty complex, but if it would work, I promise you, I will be on the floor as long as it takes.
If we can get it done that way, if we can help President Trump get this bill through, because as he said, nothing else matters.
If we don't get the Save America Act, we can do all this other stuff that we won't, but these communists are going to come in right behind us after they cheat in elections and change everything back.
So that's the reason this is so important. In any way, we can get it done. I am for it, Benny.
The Save America Act requires proof of US citizenship for those registering to vote and photo ID on the day of voting.
A hearing was held this past Wednesday by the House Ethics and Campaign Finance Committee that hearing was regarding a recently offer bill to close the Republican and Democrat primaries here in Alabama.
That bill is being offered by state lawmaker Ernie Yarbrough, 10 people who took part in the public hearing were supportive of the bill for or against.
The recently elected chairman to the Alabama Republican Party Scott Stadhagen was at the hearing, saying that the current setup for primaries is unfair, and that closing the primaries would help both parties.
A spokesperson for the Association of County Commissions is opposed to the bill, saying it would increase operational costs for county governments.
Small business owner and congressional candidate Garrick Wilkins is in support of the bill and said that open primaries only dilute the voices of the true party members by allowing interference from others outside of the party.
State Senate President Garland Gudger has revealed that a different bill that pertains to the public service commission is now being offered from within the state Senate as opposed to what was recently introduced by the Alabama House or state senator Clyde Chambles is calling the bill power to the people act.
It would expand the current three seats on the PSE to seven seats, all of which are connected to the seven congressional districts here in Alabama.
Those who would fill the PSE seats must be elected by voters in those seven districts.
Gudger is touting the bill and says it gives Alabama citizens even more power and a louder voice when it comes to the operations of the PSE.
However, the executive director for Energy Alabama, Daniel Tate says there is a fatal flaw tucked into the bill's language that would allow for the governor's appointed secretary of energy to set the agenda for all PSE meetings.
Tate says that would allow the energy secretary to overrule the elected members and is essentially a built-in back door for a utility takeover.
The bill was considered on Wednesday in the Senate fiscal responsibility and economic development committee.
A bill that would amend the Alabama Constitution in order to bring back the daily recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance as well as student-led voluntary prayer has now passed the entire Alabama House.
State lawmakers voted on the bill on Tuesday with House Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter supporting it.
Ledbetter said in a statement that our nation was founded and shaped by Christian values and we should be teaching our children to be proud of their American founding as well as boldly share their faith.
The bill's sponsor, Chip Ingram, says it's long overdue to get prayer back into Alabama schools and he believes that Alabama is want to vote on this amendment which would be placed on the ballot in the next election.
Democrat state lawmaker Marilyn Lands proposed changing the bill to exclude the reference to prayer and instead describe it as a moment of silence.
However, Ingram said this bill is not about keeping noise down in schools but about prayer.
The final vote was 94 to 3 with six abstentions.
Well, the City of Lipscomb has filed a lawsuit against its own mayor Robin Sims II.
The lawsuit claims that Sims is obstructing the operations of the city and keeping City officials from carrying out their duties.
This includes blocking paperwork that is necessary for the City Police Chief to be officially recognized by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
City officials are seeking a restraining order against the mayor for his obstruction of people seeking to fulfill their obligations at City Hall and other municipal facilities.
The Director of Health Freedom, Alabama Stephanie Dernan says that the Republican caucus within the Alabama House is showing signs of belonging to a cult or a cartel and she's basing that on their recent unanimous support of House Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter.
Dernan was referring to the caucus signing on to a letter that backs Ledbetter despite his backroom comments that indicated he looked down on the state Republican party.
Dernan says that state lawmakers all sign onto this letter simply because they could not afford to go against the House leadership and she says that's because this state legislature like many throughout the nation operate on pleasing the leadership in order to be granted favor and access to move their bills forward.
Dernan believes that this lack of dissent is clearly a sign that the legislators are operating out of fear of the consequences that come with pushing back against leadership.
Dernan says this is a typical fear tactic used in a cult or cartel and she's now calling on conservatives in the Alabama House to form their own caucus which is built on a platform of principles that are in line with the voters rather than House leadership.

The National News President Trump has ordered the release of 172 million barrels of oil from the US strategic petroleum reserve.
This move is being done to cut off any further increase of oil prices due to the war in Iran. The release will begin next week.
The move was approved by the members of the International Energy Agency which is comprised of 32 nations.
US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said the 32 members of the IEA delivered a unanimous vote to approve the request coming from the Trump administration.
This release will take about 120 days to be delivered.
Federal law enforcement in the state of California have alerted other state law enforcement agencies there to be aware of Iranian-led drone strikes.
ABC News was able to obtain that FBI alert which says that Iran has been conspiring to conduct a surprise attack with unmanned aerial vehicles off the coast of California.
However, the FBI did not provide any details on timing, targets or methods.
President Trump was asked about this drone strike potentiality in California as he was getting onto Air Force 1 on Wednesday night leaving a rally that he had in Kentucky.
I'd be in very good shape. You see it's what's happening. They are pretty much at the end of the line.
There's a mean we're going to end it immediately, but they are they've got no Navy. They've got no Air Force.
They've got no anti-air traffic anything. They have no systems of control. We're just riding free range over that country.
Most people say it's already been won. It's just a question of when. When do we stop?
We don't want to let it regrow and ideally would like to see somebody in there that knows what they're doing. In other words, they can build a country.
Over in Michigan, it appears that Iran also launched a cyber offensive against a medical technology company.
Striker is the largest company in the world regarding medical technology. About 53,000 people were affected by this cyber attack which occurred on Wednesday, leaving the workers with no access to their computer systems.
The group known as Hondala is claiming responsibility for this hack and says it's in direct retaliation for the US military strikes on Iran.
Well, I have been reporting on the ongoing drama within the US Senate over the Save Act and frankly, I'm exhausted when it comes to this.
The so-called Republicans in the US Senate who have the majority in the House and Senate seem to be totally unable and unwilling to get this piece of legislation through for the American voter so that Americans can have more faith and confidence
in election integrity throughout all of the state. Well, now Texas Senator John Cornyn is speaking out about the Save Act. Keep in mind that Cornyn is in a primary runoff race to keep his Senate seat after he's been challenged by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton who seems to be gaining on Cornyn in the polls.
So now Cornyn who has been silent up till now and dragging his feet on the Save Act says he's willing to eliminate the filibuster in order to get that bill passed for President Trump's agenda.
Cornyn said so in an opinion piece that he wrote for the New York Post. However, an NBC reporter asked Cornyn about this new position on the filibuster when she saw him in the Capitol building on Wednesday and this is the reaction she got from him.
You previously said that New King the filibuster would be taking a wrecking ball to Senate rules. Is that no longer true?
I said I'd be open to reforms.
What would you say to those who say you just change your mind to win the President's endorsement?
I'd say that's not true.
You also said that it's not true.
I think I think we're through going away.
Thank you.
A Georgia Superior Court judge has ruled that Fulton County District Attorney Fanny Willis cannot enter legal arguments to try and stop President Trump and other defendants from seeking to have their legal fees covered by the DA's office.
The move for compensation comes after Willis was disqualified from the case against Trump due to her actions involving her employee boyfriend Nathan Wade.
President and his Georgia election affiliates are now seeking $17 million in compensation for the lawyers they had to hire to defend themselves against Willis's tenuous Rico case that she filed against Trump.
Those charges have all been dropped after an appeals court found that Willis had disqualified herself from prosecuting this case.
This week Willis tried to legally intervene to stop the compensation case from moving forward but judge Scott McCaffey said no.
A Texas teacher has been given a legal victory by a federal appeals court, the American Center for Law and Justice represented Stacy Barber who was punished by her school's administration for praying on the school grounds.
Back in 2023, Barber invited other staff members at that school to join her in prayer for the CU at the Flagpole event which involves prayer.
Barber and the other teachers were warned by the principal that they shouldn't be doing that in public because the students might see Barber proceeded to pray anyway and was then punished by the school principal.
The court agreed with the ACLJ's argument that the U.S. Constitution does not permit a school official to silence a teacher's private personal prayer simply because a student might see it happening on school grounds.
This decision came from the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in the Barber versus Rounds case and the vote was unanimous.
The longtime accountant to Jeffrey Epstein, Richard Kahn, was before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday to answer questions about what and who he observed around Epstein during the decade that Kahn worked for him.
Kahn told the Oversight Committee that he saw a lot of financial transactions occur between Epstein and the former CEO to Victoria's Secret, Les Wexner, a hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin, businessman Steve Sinovsky, investor Leon Black,
and the infamous Rothschilds family. Oversight Chairman James Comer went on Fox News on Wednesday night with Jesse Waters to reveal who will be the next person subpoenaed to that Oversight Committee.
That's going to be one of the guards at the Manhattan jail where Epstein was being held before he allegedly died by suicide.
This guard, Tova Noel, made a sudden deposit of $5,000 to her bank account just days before Epstein's disappearance slash death.
Well, the recent media reports, what you just said, is very concerning, especially the suspicious activity report on a $5,000 mysterious deposit that she had.
And the reason that stands out to me, Jesse, is because very seldom are suspicious activity reports even reported for some less than $10,000.
So that's a mystery there, and that's something that, according to the DOJ documents, they never looked into, never asked her about.
So because of this, because of the media reports, and because of the fact that honestly most people on the committee aren't confident,
100% that Epstein's death was by suicide, we're going to ask Miss Noel to come in for a transcribed interview.
Again, no one's accusing her of any wrongdoing, but we have a lot of questions about Epstein.
Questions about who else was involved in abusing girls.
Why did the government not do a better job of investigating and prosecuting Epstein when they had a chance years before they finally convicted him?
Was Epstein a spy? Was our government involved in any way shape or form in trying to destroy evidence or hide evidence from any of those four properties?
And now, was Epstein's death a suicide as the government has reported, or was there some other mysterious factor involved in his death?
So again, no one's accusing this prison guard of any wrongdoing, but I will announce to not on your show, we are going to ask her to come in and sit for an interview because we have a lot of questions.
