There is a potent sense of safety, victory, deliverance, and freedom contained in the Word for salvation in our verse for today. David likely wrote this Psalm in the midst of being pursued by the broken and failing King Saul. Yet it is also one of his most faith-filled and confident writings ever penned. Like David, acknowledge that God is your light and salvation, your victory, freedom, and safety. In light of this, there's no need to live in chronic fear and dread, rest in the truth.
