What you want? The latest with Lauren LaRosa. She's particularly bringing the energy to mainstream radio, the black radio. The sources trusted. You hear that, Eskusa Lauren? I'm the hungry, I know it's a little bit about everything and everything. Keep you having the latest three beats. You asked the question that need to be answered on the breakfast club. A little brown girls looking to you and go out and want to be like you. Hello cool, baby. Talk, talk, talk. Sydney. Yeah, so the baby, we talked a bit about his no-knife chicken broth was opening up in Charlotte and it's been making the rounds of conversations with people upset about the prices. He sat down for interview with positively Charlotte with Alicia Quarrels and talked about all of the upset that's sick of listen. Some people said $45 for a waffle baby. What are we doing? What do you say to people that are like, this is real expensive? I said it shouldn't went to a waffle house. Waffle house has something for you. You know what I mean? But if you want an elevated dining experience, if you want a waffle house, I'm sorry. Don't let this come off a shade to you. This isn't just flour and water. Our sweet potato waffle is infused with real sweet potatoes.

Our blueberry lemon waffle is really infused with real lemon. Even the soulful cornbread waffle. That's the $45. Okay, that's okay. Tell us what makes this thing $45. So this is no flour and water with this. This is real homemade cornbread. This is not jiffy mix. This is real homemade southern recipes. So this is cornbread, right? It's topped with collard greens with turkey leg meat, macaroni and cheese and sweet potato suflet. I also include it for pieces of fried chicken. This is really $100 waffle. Hey man, I don't care what y'all talking about. I'm sold already. I'm gonna be in Charlotte in a couple of weeks. I don't look that goddamn no knife menu a couple of times. All right, I want that banana pudding waffle or that sweet potato waffle. I'm trying a little bit every day. I'm a guy I go to in a couple of weeks too. But if you look at some of the places that people frequently, when they frequently eat, like cheesecake factory, cheesecake factory has $40 on trays that has nothing compared to what that is. I don't say, if you go to a pasta place, like you're gonna pay $40, $40 for a pasta and that has nearly the amount of stuff that he gave you with the salad.

At some point, we have to admit that we as black people are very hard on each other for no guy named Reed and because I ain't never heard y'all complain about carbon prices. No. I ain't never heard y'all complain about the weight of carbon, but because the baby has his own restaurant in Charlotte now all of a sudden, all of y'all food critics and all of y'all worried about the prices. Knock it off. Well, see somebody can even say the carbonist experience you're paying for that. No time for black and experience. But if you go to the places that people frequent, I'm talking cheesecake factory and- You in and out. Yes, it's $40, $50 for things. No, I will be at $40 a couple of weeks, God damn it. Well, let us know how the food is. We got all these food critics. Please send me some audio. And I'm gonna hold a bunch of things. I'm not like Charlotte now. I'm not getting one dish. I'm gonna get like six, seven. It's gonna be a bunch of us. I'm gonna try everybody's gonna try a little bit everything. Charlotte, I worry about his digestive system. Look, you take 10 pills right now. I need to eat and relax. Well, I'm going. I'll be in the cup. I'll be in Charlotte in a couple weeks. Me too. Well, speaking of things that people get critical of or not, people are excited about this one. Tyler Perry's, why did I get married is out now?

Why did I get married again? It's out now on Netflix. I started watching some of it yesterday. I know that they had the premiere event, which a lot of outlets were at, talking about the movie. Now, one of the things that people are, of course, pointing to is the fact that Janet Jackson was not in the movie. Charlotte Perry talked about her absence with Hollywood unlocked during the premiere event for why did I get married again? Let's listen. We didn't see Janet in this one. Did you give fans an update on, when we see like Camille Janet or Lil update on that? Well, Janet, at the time she was on, she was doing a residency in Bakers. So we couldn't work out the time. But who knows what happened in the future? Yeah, now. I want Patricia's character in prison. Okay, Patricia's character caused Gavin to die after he got hit by that truck after they had that argument. And then she walked off with the rock. That's the last thing I remember. I want, if she's in a movie, I wanted to start with her in prison. Not her, and I mean, what kind of prison? Because she was meant, but meant, you know, they meant to me. She was, they were all dealing with a lot. Like, it's like she pushed them.

Yeah, she did. Let people watch it to sell now, right? It is out now, yep, yep. But I do want to get to this because, you know, people are having a conversation online who have been watching it, comparing Taraji's character, Taraji's now in the movie. She plays a character named Roslyn, who's like a friend that was just always absent. But now she's here. And people are like, this doesn't take the place of Janet Jackson's character. So Taraji addressed that conversation. I said, listen, Taraji on her character, and praising Janet Jackson. I'm the new kid on the block. This is an established story. These characters are beloved. And here comes this new girl, what's she here for? One thing I didn't want people to misconcrue is that I was replacing Janet. No one can replace Janet Jackson in anything. Okay. I just cleared that up. Tyler did an amazing job with how he put my character into the story. It made it real. It made it seem like, oh, she was just off living her life. And there's always that one, that friends, that always that one friend. That didn't make the vacation. Oh, yeah. We weren't at that, but there's always friends. Exactly. I'm sure they run even deeper than that.

There's always, you know, girls that are with me. Maybe an installment for, we'll get some more about where the hair Roslyn came from. I can't wait to watch. Yes. I don't think you all remember what happened, Patricia went there, she went there, Gavin's office in the Grazen Hell over some book royalties or something. And so he left because he was like, why are we embarrassing each other like this? So he was all described and he got in that car and got hit by that damn truck. Yeah. Patricia need to be in prison watching this. She's not in prison. She need to be in somebody's mental institution because she went crazy. Mentally, she was mentally hiding a lot. So she was going through a lot, but you think that he deserved the royalties from the book? Why not? I'm asking you, you're saying? Yes, how? Yeah, she'd be right about me. Okay. Yes. Well, I don't know. I just hope we get some closure to that story in general. We talked to Michael J. Watt about it when he was here too and he kind of couldn't answer if that was going to happen or not. But I look, I'm going to finish this movie today. Guys, guys, guys, watch it today. Watch it today. Watch it this weekend. Watch it today, y'all. So we can talk about it tomorrow. But that was the latest for the hour. And when we come back, we're going to get into some conversations because Jalen Brown

sat down with Mahersha Ali and Aaron talking about just the freedom to impact people. It's a great conversation. We're going to do it. All right. Now, Jess is out today. So, you know, usually we do just fix my mess, but today is AC and E. So if you have any questions, relationship questions, you have any issues, whatever it may be, you can get on the phone lines right now. 800-585-1051. Now, Shalom, who are you giving me a donkey too? Man, I need all you pickleball lovers to gather around the radio because there's a couple Andrew Dick and Feather Roberts of Oklahoma. Okay. Andrew Dick and Feather Roberts, all right? Okay. They need to come to the front of the congregation. They've taken their love of pickleball way too far. All right. We'll get to that next. Don't move, Mr. Breakfast Club. Good morning.
