Quasie here and in this video, I'm going to share with you how you can reduce your importance and really why it's so deceptively simple to achieve your goals and why we make it so complicated. This is going to be the biggest secret that has never been revealed to you and why this is the biggest secret is because it is so simple to understand it's literally at the surface level. This took me a very, very long time to truly master and how to comb my internal state but was the most valuable lesson that I learned along this journey of reality creation. Make sure you stick around to the very end of this video because I'm going to share with you the three keys to make this applicable to you in your life. Before we begin this video, I want to announce quickly that a couple of spots have opened up for the free one-to-one console with me and my team for the Reality Mastery program. Make sure you wait around until the end of the video for the announcement on that and with that, let's get started. In this video, I want to talk to you about reducing importance and why this is probably

the most important thing you've got to know in reducing importance. Why I say that is because inevitably in this journey, there will be lots of challenges but we just don't know how to deal with these challenges and it affects our internal state of being. We start to seek these external things but what happens is you know that how you feel within starts to get reflected with what you see outside. The biggest problem is that we create these obstacles that normally wouldn't be there. This is the biggest thing to overcome. You start to get in your own way. There is no one else in your way. It is just you who's stopping and hindering yourself from achieving your goals. You put too much meaning on things. You put your desire things too much and all of these things now are starting to work against you. Now what you would understand is that desire is the most useless thing. This is going to be very controversial because there is so much, you know, shit out there

saying, oh, you must desire very, very deeply. Your desire must be so strong. Your internal desire, you must have a burning desire for it. But people misunderstand that. And why there is a huge misunderstanding of that is because desire is seen as the same thing as intention. People automatically assume that if I have desire, I'm going to move towards my desire. But that's not usually what happens. So why desire is such a harmful thing is because desire naturally means I don't have. When you want deeply, you're just saying I don't have. So desire creates importance. We are taught to believe, this is the biggest false belief, is that if I desire enough, I will eventually get it. If I just desire enough, okay, I'm going to get what I want.

But that's not the thing, right? That's not the case at all because you can desire and sit on your couch all day. It won't happen. This was a big realization for me to get to because I saw that when I was younger, if I just cried and threw tantrum enough, my parents would give me the toy. So that's the sort of attitude I grew up with, right? Okay, I'm going to desire and try about it and feel like a victim. But I saw that when I did that, life didn't pity me and give me what I wanted, but rather life threw more shit at me, right? And just got worse and worse. So I started to see, okay, what is it that I need to be able to achieve my goals effortlessly? And I saw that it's not desire, okay? It's intention. And we're going to talk more about that. But yeah, understand that the false belief is that if I desire enough, it will happen. That's not necessarily the case. Desire is naturally there. You don't have to do anything to help you build up your desire, okay? If you find that you're procrastinating, it's not desire that's the problem.

You have the desire, right? And because you have the desire, you even have the awareness that you're procrastinating. Or else you'd be completely okay with procrastinating, right? So there's a deeper problem in there that needs to be sorted out. That's something else completely. But if you think that you have a lack of desire, you're mistaken. Because desire is just there, you have something clouding the desire, okay? And we're going to talk about that. But before I get to that, the truth about that is that desiring and wanting will never bring about your goals, but the choice, the simple choice and decision will. Okay? Choice and decision is what we call as intention. Intention really is the firmness that you have in your choice and your decision to have to act in order to receive something in order to get something, right? So intention is the focus on the movement towards the goal. Desire is just a daydream, okay?

It's just putting it up on a pedestal and putting you here. Making these two things separate. Desire naturally says, I do not have. And that's what reality starts to reflect back. As you know, the reality, world acts as a mirror. Anything that you think can believe will be reflected to you with a delay. Click up here to check out video on how this mirror actually works and how to manipulate it to get what you want. But what I want you to know for the purposes of this video is understand that intention is what causes this forward movement. Not desire, okay? And the key to understand here is when you desire too much, you start to build what we call as this importance. Because desire and importance is synonymous. When you want something too much, you naturally put too much meaning on it, okay? And this disproportionate meaning, aka importance, is what creates obstacles that normally wouldn't be there, okay?

So if you see that, you know, you've been on this path for a really long time and you just can't achieve your goals. And every time you try to move forward, there's always one obstacle after another. You know, for me, it was when I wanted to achieve my 100k month goal. I was just stuck, you know, after 20k, I would get up to 80k, I would get up to 50k, but then I just couldn't hit the big 100k. And I saw that it was because I put too much meaning on that 100k month goal. And when I put the disproportionate amount of meaning to it, there's always an obstacle that gets in your way. Life will always try to show you its true quality, which is that of impermanence. Every time you identify too strongly with one thing and you need it, life will always find a way to show you that nothing is ever too important, okay? And the way it does that is by creating these unnecessary obstacles that normally wouldn't be there, but because of your meaning and how you view it, how you perceive it, what, you know, quality you attach to it, that's how it unfolds. That's how it shows up as an obstacle, okay?

This is the biggest, biggest thing. Importance creates obstacles, okay? Importance is like an inhomogeneous in the field of the universe, okay? Let's say you start off at point A, you want to get to point B. If you think more and more about point B, you know, you mentalize about it, you keep thinking about it, you put a lot of meaning to getting to point B, naturally there's going to be obstacles. Even if you're thinking about raising your hand right now, try this. You know, you think for like five, ten minutes about raising your hand, the more you think about it, the more you start to doubt it, and the more you start to like build these obstacles around raising your hand, and now you just can't raise your hand. Seriously, try this. Just try thinking about raising your hand for five to ten minutes before actually raising it. As opposed to you just thinking about it once and you just raise it. This is exactly what I mean by putting in too much importance and too much meaning on something,

okay? When you put a disproportionate amount of meaning, obstacles will come out of nowhere and hinder you from getting there, okay? And now I want to share with you how to really visualize this, okay? The non-ideal scenario is you desiring something too much and having a low intention to move towards it, right? Most people don't know how to transmute their desire into intention, so they talk more about getting to their goals rather than actually doing what's necessary to get to their goals. They will keep talking about their goals more and more instead of taking the necessary actions to get there, right? There's nothing wrong with talking about your goals, but when you do it too excessively to the point where, you know, the desire is more than the intention that you're putting in, achieving your goals should be as simple as going to the mailbox and getting the mail. It doesn't, it's not as quick as going to the mailbox, right? Because there are more steps to it. You've got to walk a little bit more, maybe. You've got to climb a little bit, okay? Maybe there are a couple of fences there,

but it's not that there are alligators they're trying to eat you on the path, do you know what I mean? Because if you start to put that much meaning into it, then more and more obstacles, the path will get longer and longer, okay? This is the failure scenario. People don't know how to transmute their desire into intention. They just keep desiring and keep desiring. And the more you desire, the more importance and meaning you put onto it, the more you put it on a pedestal, kind of like getting a partner, you know? You talk about this person and this is just a normal human being, but you fantasize about this person so much. You fantasize about your goal so much. You're like, oh, when I get there, then this will happen. I will feel this way and I will feel that way, but the truth of the reality is, you know, you won't feel that way. You'll feel a short burst of that feeling, but then it will go away. You'll go back to your neutral. You're going to be like, oh, shit, well, I achieved my 100k month goal. You know, for me, when I did the 100k month, it wasn't a big difference. It was like, great, awesome. I hit the 100k month. That's great. What's next?

So really, like achieving your goals is just, you fantasize and you romanticize it so much, it becomes a thing that you think will help you feel a certain way. But unless and until you can get to that state internally first, it never shows up. You've got to be worthy. You've got to be that 100k month version, before that 100k month version becomes yours. So which leads me to the ideal cycle, where your desire is low, but your intention, not your importance, is high. So let's define both of these things. Desire, as we define this, importance. Intention, as we define, is choice plus decision. Choice plus decision equals that movement towards your goal. Intention is the focus on the movement on the goal. Desire is the focus on the goal itself. And no focus on movement at all. The more you just focus on the goal, unless you're one step away from achieving it,

it's never going to happen. So the key here is to have a firm intention to where you want to get to. And how you cultivate intention, right? This is the big million dollar question. It's simply by reducing desire. It's as simple as that. You know, you just do what's necessary. You don't over-mentalize, over-think about it. What do you think? What's the one thing you think you need to do right now to help you move one step towards your goal? Do that. It doesn't matter whether or not it's the right thing. If you think you need to do it, the path is going to present itself to you. When your desire level is low, the paths will eventually show to you. Because the more important and the more desire you have, you're not going to be receptive to the instructions that come. Because now you're not sensitive. You're looking for something and you're trying to affirm why you're not worthy of it. And you're romanticizing it, which keeps you at this separation between the goal. You know, this is you currently, this is the goal that you have. The more you desire, the more you emphasize this separation.

This was absolutely crucial for me to understand. The more you desire a goal, the more you tell reality. Yeah, I don't already have. I don't have it. I'm not worthy of it. I really want it. Come on, please give it to me. You're like a beggar. But you didn't know that you had the power to just go out there and take what you want. Because what's yours at the end of the day will always come back to you. Achieving your goals doesn't have to be so difficult. It doesn't have to be a grind. You don't have to fight to earn your place under the sun. Sure, it's uncomfortable. Sure, it's hard, but it's simple. It's difficult, but it's simple. Okay. It will happen unless and until you can get to terms that it will happen. It won't happen. That's the first thing. So now let's talk about the three keys to help you cultivate intention, but more importantly help you reduce desire. If you just focus on reducing your importance levels to something, it doesn't even matter what intention you have.

If your importance level is low, you're eventually going to move forward. Eventually, your intention is going to be much more powerful. Just imagine you remove all these obstacles. Number one, understand that when any obstacle shows, when something is just appearing much more difficult than it needs to be, you just got to ask yourself one question. Where am I attributing too much meaning to this? Where am I attributing a disproportionate amount of meaning to this? To give an example of that 100k month, I started to realize what was happening. I was incessantly moving towards the 100k month. I had the systems, the intentions. I would get so close. Oh, 80k. 50k. Oh, 80k again. Oh, 85k. Never 100k. Until January 2020. And so I was asking myself, what really brought that difference? And I saw that it was because on that last week when I was at 90k, I ended it like 17k the next week. But what happened? It's because I saw that when I hit the 90k, I just didn't put too much meaning on it.

Cool. 90k is great. Yeah, let's see if we can get to 100k. Let's see if it happens. More of a curiosity starts, rather than, oh my god, I need it, oh my god, what happens if I don't hit it? Right? So instead of mentalizing about all of that, I just asked myself, where am I putting too much meaning on it? Oh, you know, this is where I put too much meaning on it at the end of the month, so it didn't happen last month. When you find that you're attributing a disproportionate amount of meaning, number two is just consciously reduce what meaning you put onto it. Just tell yourself, nothing's ever too important. What's yours will eventually come to you anyways. So I got to terms with, okay, if it doesn't happen this month, no problem. Let's see what we can do. Let's see how much fun we can have with this. Right? And then it just becomes a game to you. Because what's happening right now is all of this is a game, but you just forget it's a game. You become so identified with it. It becomes so important that you forget it's a game. So when you forget it's a game, it's time to show yourself it's a game, which brings me to number three. If you can't consciously reduce your importance towards achieving a goal,

just change the relationship that you have with the emotion of it, okay? Let's talk about that. What do I mean by changing the relationship to the emotion? Well, here's what it is. When you have desire, don't try to sweep your desire under the rug. Just change your relationship to the desire. You start to become aware that you have desire, okay? You're observing that which experiences the desire. So you inevitably take a step back from the desire. Because what most people do is when they have importance, they try to fight that importance. When you fight the importance, the importance grows. When you fight the dissatisfaction, the dissatisfaction grows. Whatever you resist will always persist. This is why they stay stuck in that cycle. When you can't consciously reduce it, then you just go to take a step back from it and let it be. That's what we mean by changing the relationship. Because there's an emotion, right? But there's an emotion behind the emotion and another emotion behind the emotion. So let's say you want to achieve a goal and you're dissatisfied.

And then you're like, shit, I'm actually dissatisfied with the dissatisfaction. Ah, this feeling of dissatisfaction isn't good. Then you get dissatisfied with the feeling of dissatisfaction. Then you're like, oh, shit. Getting dissatisfied with the dissatisfaction isn't good. So you start to make this whole mental chain and all of this just goes to the power of like infinity. Right? So it's just like with fear. You fear something, then you fear the fear coming up again. You're like, oh, what if that fear comes up again? Oh, this fear's going to be bad for me. And then you fear the fear of the fear. So you get into this feedback loop of hell and it just keeps you stuck. The best thing to do is just cut it off here. You change your relationship with the dissatisfaction. You let the dissatisfaction be. That way, not only do you take a step back, now the resistance is gone. Okay? This is what we call as surrender or letting it go. And letting it go is more so letting it be rather than letting it go.

Click up here to check a video on that. But that is number three. Okay? Changing your relationship to the emotion itself. Once you do this, you're going to take the reins to your own internal state. If you can just cultivate your internal state of being at all times and keep it how you want it to be, nothing will stop you. Anything will be achievable. Now, you're organically cultivating your state. You're not depending on it from outside. You're at the cause and not the effect. No one else is responsible for how you feel except you. That is the greatest power you can have. Right now, in this day and age, anytime, anywhere ever, the greatest power you can have is being solely responsible for how you feel. Being truly proactive. Okay? And with that, I conclude this video. Thank you so much for watching. I sincerely hope this was helpful. That's recap. Today, we talked about understanding the concept of importance and really reducing your desire and why desire is futile and why desire is actually stopping you from getting to that goal.

Okay? And why that is is because desire itself is just potential. It's just importance. It has no quality to it. Desire is just the focus on the goal itself. But intention is the focus on the movement towards that goal. Okay? And the biggest false belief we have right now is if I desire it enough, it'll happen. It's bullshit. If you intend it, it'll happen. If you have the choice and you make a decision, you calmly make a choice, you calmly make a decision, I'm going to go and get my letter from the mailbox. Oh, I'm just going to go and get my remote. Oh, I'm just going to go out there and make 100k month. It's going to happen. Right? So we just think we need it. We have to want it enough. We have to want it bad. That's not true. You can simply intend it and it'll happen. Okay? And the key is understanding that whenever you put a disproportionate amount of meaning, the more you desire something, the more your importance level is going to go up. They're the same. Desire and importance are the same.

The more your importance level goes up, the more obstacles start to show up in your way. The more you think about raising your hand up, the more you start to resist doing it. The more you think about and mentalize and dream and fantasize about that 100k month, the more you move away from it. The more obstacles show up, the longer the path stretches. Okay? And here we talked about the transmutation of desire into intention. Right? The only way to do that is to just move. Every time you keep thinking about something, focus on the movement. Shift your focus to the movement. Transmutation is shifting the focus to the movement. Every time I mentalize about my goal, I focus on the movement towards it. Even visualizing is focusing on the movement towards the goal. Right? You're transmuting that excessive potential that's blocked up right now into actually seeing how you'll move towards the goal. What most do is they just keep talking about it, they keep dreaming about it, and they keep punishing themselves for not having it. The more you keep thinking and not sort of thinking,

but more so, the more you keep like, this is very, very subtle. The more you keep desiring it, the more you affirm I don't have. Okay? And this is the ideal cycle. Getting your desire fully transmuted into intention, so that all of you moves forward towards that goal. If you think about people like Jeff Bezos, do you think he keeps thinking about his goals and keeps like wishing his goals or desiring his goals? No, he just goes out there and does it. He just does what's necessary. He has a vision of where he wants to go. That's completely different. Having a vision versus wanting, needing and desiring is completely different. He doesn't think about, he doesn't make excuses about why he doesn't have it. He just knows that it'll come, and he just moves towards it. That's the key difference. You can visualize, you can think about your goals, but it's just when you sort of make these excuses and start wishing and start wanting and needing. That's what the problem really is. That's where the problem really comes up.

And here are the three keys. Number one, whenever you start to see these obstacles, you've been pursuing a goal for a really long time, but it hasn't happened. Ask yourself, where are you putting too much meaning onto it? Why do you need it so much? Understand that. What happens if it doesn't happen? Get okay with that. When you find that importance, consciously reduce it. Tell yourself what yours will come. Okay? Get into that faith that it will, when the time is right. That's when your importance level gets reduced. Number three, when you can't consciously reduce your importance levels, let's say you're on a tight rope and you're walking, and the fear is too overwhelming. Then just change your relationship to the emotion. Changing your relationship to the emotion is simple as letting what is, just be. Cutting it at the source. You know, when that dissatisfaction comes, just let it be then. Understand that it's not you. You didn't choose this dissatisfaction. It's a rising. Take a step back from it. Observe it. Let it be. And with that, I conclude this video. Thank you so much for watching.

I sincerely hope this was helpful. If you're new to the channel, make sure you like, comment, subscribe. Hit that little bell there so you'll notify of any new video that I put out. And also, again, I'm super excited to announce that a couple of spots have opened up for the reality mastery, free one-to-one console with me or my team, to see if we can help you take your life to the next level. Okay, make sure you click on the link in the description below the sign up for that. This isn't for everyone, by the way. This is for those of you who are looking and very, very serious to take your lives to the next level and who we typically work with are as follows. First of all, professionals who are looking to take their careers to the next level or even really transition out into entrepreneurship. And what they find is they just jump between one opportunity to the next and nothing ever really sticks. Okay, they just go from the Amazon FBA to, you know, starting up their trading career or getting into real estate investing, but they just can't get that traction. But the problem isn't these opportunities because other people are doing it and they're becoming very, very successful. Right, but the problem is them. There's an internal problem that's internal ceiling keeping them stuck here. The same thing with the entrepreneurs that we work with,

they're stuck at a certain revenue level in their businesses. They want to scale up, make more money. They have all the business mentors and business coaches, but that's not the problem. It's not an external tactical problem, but an internal ceiling that again keeps them stuck here. The same thing with the creatives that we work with. They want to take their careers to the next level, really get that traction that they want. But they can't persist internally. They're not there where they need to be. Okay, if that sounds like you please take advantage of this opportunity to sign up and let's see how we can help. And also, I'm super excited to announce that free Facebook group is open for you to take advantage of. Click the link below to sign up for that. And with that, see you next time. Peace.
