I'm Sam Slayton, CEO and co-owner at Sante Center for Healing. For three decades, Sante Center has been providing lasting recovery for addiction. Addiction left untreated is a fatal disease. Sante offers treatment-based, clinical excellence and compassion, where available now at SanteCenter.com. This week's eBREAK has already been yanked, but there's still plenty of misfires, mispeaks, and stop downs. From the Tickets Broadcast Week, we've got the best of the rest. It's time for the NIT Break. That's right, 238 on a Friday. This is the sweet spot as we help you get towards that Labor Day weekend. We appreciate you being with us, not only today, but all week. And we'll be back together as a show on Tuesday. Every regular show getting a Monday off, but we will have live local programming all day with Phil and shows Monday. So you don't have to go anywhere. We do have the hard line and why today doesn't suck coming up in just a moment. And congratulations to GeneXe Davy Lane, who captured his 29th career, big eBREAK this morning.
And good job, Davy. Now, I don't know if he's going to be able to get a double turkey this week, but we have no Monty. So our backup QB, David Mino will handle the best of the rest. Thank you, Sean. I love the shirt, by the way. I don't care what the wife says. The shirt is kick ass. It's got tigers on it. We're bloodmints, mouth. It's awesome. But yeah, let's kick this thing off. I have six candidates for you this week. And we will start on the weekend with a show called the T-Box. That airs on Saturday mornings now. You're probably thinking, what did Rosen say this week? This wasn't Craig Rosengarden, a little upset. We had Rick Arnett saying a word that you definitely can't say on the radio. I would still want the powers to be when a commercial is going out. And it's showcasing their brand. I think more people rather than just the marketing department should take a look at it. Because it's not going to hit everybody. If Chip Ruehrer actually did see that and didn't understand it, I had a pulled it. Is it what's the point here?
Well, it's based upon this movie obsession. What the hell is obsession? This makes no sense. That's all you got to do. So everybody's just got to be a little more careful rather than just throwing stuff out there. Oh. Beforehand. All right, I'll just get hammered on. All right, now 33. It's canceled. I am canceled right now. Right. 933 on the ticket. You know what? I think my favorite thing we have to dump is the casual S-bomb. Just in the flow of a conversation. Because it's so easy to fall into just a natural habit and flow and just throw that. I think Saad had a famous one where he called something BS. Yeah, and he said, he said a whole one time. There's some words I get it. But if you can say poop and crap, why can't you say the other one? I was doing tickers that morning and it's like jarring because you're never expecting to hear somebody say something like that on the air. Obviously you dump it and then you don't hear it again.
But when it comes through. At that hour, yeah, it's jarring. And if it's just off the air and just throw it around, it just goes in one ear out the other. But you hear it on the air. It's like, oh my god, he said a bad word. So yes, that is Rick Arnet with an unfortunate S-bomb. Just throwing that S out there. I know. Candidate number two is our weekend board op Carter Lacey, who was running the board for work and progress. Now the Whit boys are wrapping up a segment. They throw out to ham for tease. And Carter Lacey just says, I'm going to go to break right here. Definitely biting my time until I make any real prediction about this thing. But just glad we're finally through it. It was a rough preseason. Only three games. Only none of three. Only three. Eventually, let's get down to none. All right, it's 1052 here on the ticket. Coming up next, we have ham radio exclusive review of the game. You're a good company.
I haven't heard the station the whole day. You just jumped the gun a little bit. Just fast trigger there. And also, that sounded like deathbed DJ talking about Cowboys preseason. Yeah, I've heard DJ this morning. And he sounds like he needs to nettie pot a little bit. Maybe he caught a little something on his his fake wedding trip to San Diego. It could be or he's just so beaten down by preseason football. He's just ready for a little nap. So yeah, that's Carter Lacey. A little fast on going to break. Candidate number three is the muser's producer Jacob Daddy, Dea Demor. And Daddy puts the list together of birthdays for for Gordo every morning. And I guess he just pulls it from the associated press. And also a good one in here is we get a pulp apologizing, Daddy, which is one of my favorite things. I'm just trying to pass the blame. So let's let's hear what Daddy had to apologize for.
On the ticket. Charlie Robinson is 62. Should be Robinson. Zindaya is 30. Phil Fulmer 76. Charlie Robinson still with us. Yeah, I thought there was something to that. Well, yeah, he passed away a couple of years ago. Is this a different Charlie Robinson? Yeah, this says country singer songwriter. Daddy would. Was it the Charlie Robinson? He died in September of. Yeah, he is no longer with us. He was born on this day now no longer with us. Yeah, the AP screwed up. Sorry. They usually don't have died three years passed on their list. Past people. That he was great. Carl Mecklenberg 66. Carl Mecklenberg. Daddy cannot say sorry. Sorry, without me thinking of the drop. Yeah, we have a good daddy sorry drop. And now we have another one with sorry, AP was wrong. Oh, so good way to go, daddy.
Can't trust journalists, right? You can't can't trust the AP. Never trust AP. Candidate number four. So this comes to us from the invasion. And on Fridays, really fun segment they do is I got one where everybody is confident in a pick from the weekend and Lando had one last Friday. The only issue was he was about a week early on his I got one. I was going to take San Jose State to cover. Okay, but now I'm going to have to swing to another large point spread. Okay, and that would be the U-TEP miners and number 10 Oklahoma. I'm being 41 and a half. U-TEP and Oklahoma. Yeah, okay, that's Friday, September 4th. You go with that. Yeah. No, it's going to be a wild for this up. I'll let you play out if that's what you want. I'm sorry. You're doing great then. Ruining the segment. No, it's most excited. No, no, no. We wouldn't be doing it without you.
I know. Well, I'm going to I just wanted to bring that game up to you. So you knew Oklahoma's plan. Oh, thank you. I'm doing advanced scouting. Yeah, that just picked for that week. Well, future casting there from land. So did you have that for today since it's it's now appropriate? No. Just throw it off to this pick pick one from next week. You know what? It would. It would. Texas Ohio State now. It would have been great if they allowed that to be yours and then they win every other game. So then starting tonight, we're the part of the world. We're all freaking out over that game because you guys would have a big financial win full. The only problem is Donnie loses every week. So that would have never happened. Lost 17 of 18 or something crazy like you with Tyler on those numbers, but it's pretty bad. It's incredible. Bad losing streak. But I got it breaks even so much and picks with friends to have that. Yeah. Skid and I got one isn't saying. And I think I know what you did here because you were probably looking at ESPN's I was and their their website's been awful. And on air football games on air, I had to pivot because the pick that I had
Baldi took right ahead of me. I heard that part and they have a week one and week zero. Right. It's all together and it's not really unless you look at the exact date. It's it's been bad. Need to need to fix that. Reelable. So there is Lando candidate number five comes to us from the sweet spot. Heard one to three. And yesterday Sean, you and I and really everybody, we were talking about the big clippers news and co-eyed Leonard. And of course, we're very fortunate to have the hero of the hardwood on our show. And our most potent basketball mind here on the KTCK airways. Right. And all week, I've been wanting to know what Justin's thoughts on all of this work. You were too. And he comes back to work after missing the whole week. And yesterday it was his first day back. So let's hear what Justin's HSOs on the whole co-eyed Leonard situation. You know, this is not like a team that was primed to win right now. That got gutted. This is just, you know, it was a bad team that got worse. It was already a rebuilding situation.
Justin, I'm curious your take on how all this came down yesterday and the co-eyed of it all because co-eyed man, he is getting off scot free here. He is getting to go back to Toronto. And he put out a good start. He put out a big statement yesterday talking about how he has a clean slate. And I know that the team and the franchise was hammered. But shouldn't have co-eyed Leonard been suspended for ex-amount of games or maybe even a whole season for his role in all this because let's be real. He took all this money. Oh, okay. Oh. Sorry, we were cutting up something for open. Oh, okay. That's important. It's okay. Well, again, I don't know if you have any of that. Just repeat the whole thing again. What do you think of what didn't happen to co-eyed? I mean, I just, yeah, I can't believe how, hey, I know you mentioned the fine that he got that's nothing, but also and I saw that coming because you say his name and we've been talking about it for
10 minutes or so. And he's not looking at you. And I was kind of expecting him to just jump in because you're kind of filibustering a little bit or you don't need to ask him a question. We're just having a conversation. I'm like, he's not listening. Also, the red light on the producer's microphone doesn't turn on right now. So like Michael could turn his mic on right now and I would have no idea. See, it's kind of weird. It is weird. And he's not looking at us. He's got kind of his head down and he and him to pull the curtain back. We're working on an open for for our show. Oh, no, for their show that was on this morning during our show. So they dusted that off for the e-brake today. And DJ didn't even really like it that much. Oh, I'm sure it was great. But I'm glad that they don't have much time to do it. I mean, you know, there's no time in the day to like, no, not at all during our show during a second. So there is Justin not listening. And finally candidate number six also in our time slot.
Now, this was during why today doesn't suck Justin not involved with this because I believe this was the day that Justin had his turkey incident where he was dressed up like a turkey and got shot because he was getting ready for Thanksgiving. Right. It was Leanne Lyanne Rhymes' birthday. And EA went full, cool aid man jumped through the wall and had this weird note on him and Leanne Rhymes in the circus. Local girl Leanne Rhymes is 44. Garland. What did she have wrong with her? Nothing. Did she have a health issue or something or perhaps she had diarrhea on stage or there was something. Not every country starlet has diarrhea problems. I cried to her songs. Tell us more. The song, How Do I Believe or How Do I Breathe? Yeah.
Whatever that song, when I was seven leaving the circus, I cried to it and now every time I hear it, I do get sad. You were in the circus. Why did you leave the circus? Yes, this was a circus. Contract issue. Me and my family left the circus and the song came on. The fly was on. And it got me sad. Why did you why your family leave the circus? It was over. I wasn't I was in a person. You were a circus person like a car. I was a customer. Emily Lyanne, EA, I show and you. Kids pack your things. We're leaving the circus once and for all. That just kept getting weirder and weirder. First, he didn't know the name of the song. It's How Do I Live? How do I, how do I breathe? I think she, I think at one point, she says, breathe. I don't know. Then he says he left the circus and he says he wasn't a person. So great. He's a unique broad. I'm so glad we have EA on our ready squad.
So there are your six candidates. Is it Rick Arnet dropping an S bomb? Is it Carter Lhc going to break a little too early? Is it Daddy not knowing a death? Is it Lando having one? Is it Justin not listening? Or is it circus EA? Let's go clockwise today. I like doing this. So start with Lando. Sorry, I had to think about how clocks work. I'll take the flying EA's. Okay. I'll take Lee A. Rhymes. Okay. Give me S bomb Rick. Okay. Sean. I'm going to also vote for Jaguar, Dick Wisson. Rick Arnet, that was, that was jarring. All right, so we have two votes for Rick. Two votes for EA. I am the deciding votes. Man, this one's tough. EA did a good job for us this week and that made me laugh harder. So I'm going to vote for EA. So EA is your winner this week. We got stats, Michael. That is EA's seventh in IT break moving him
into a tie with Bob. Okay. How many how many back is he? Is this because this is where EA does 10 back? Okay. And the all-time leader was 17. Look at that quick math. Yeah, you don't have to wait. That's another highlight of the week is just hearing EA do math in his head. But yes, congratulations EA. You are winner big number seven. Truck drivers. The holiday rush is here.
