The thing we think is the thing, is never the thing.
Think about in your life, when you have a problem, a challenge or are struggling with something. You will often look at the thing as being the problem.
But when we think about the thing, as not being the thing, what it helps us do is to see that thing for what it really is. The manifestation or representation of something that is sitting behind that - in the way we think, our belief system, the way our program works, the way we are emotionally dealing with something, our action, our behaviour - which then appear to be the thing that we think is the problem.
The problem with this is that it deflects us from seeing where the real issue and root cause of where the problem lies. Which in turn often results as seeking a short term band aid solution.
What this also does is focuses our energy and attention on what we don’t want. In this episode, you will have an opportunity to really understand this concept, and to think about "the thing" in your life in a completely new light.
