Hi, it's Robin Sharma and welcome to Daily Mastery. This is my short form podcast. We're all walk you through the insights, methodologies and tactics that I've shared with many of the world's most successful people as their mentor, including celebrity billionaires, NBA superstars, world-class artists, and global humanitarians. I hope you find great value in today's episode. Well, a lot of people ask me, okay, you mentor billionaires and leaders and sports superstars and celebrity entrepreneurs. What are the golden traits of the best of the best? And there are a few. They're perfectionists. They all are contrarians and they really don't care so much about the good opinions of fathers. Many of them are super fit. A lot of them love learning. They want to outlead the competition because they understand that the leader who learns the most wins and education

is a noculation against disruption. A lot of these people have what bud trouble at Apple called the reality distortion field. They have these amazing and strange ideas and everyone laughs at them until they're in the presence of the visionary and then they believe them because in many ways, no one will believe in you until you believe in you. And then once you start to believe in your vision, the whole world gets hypnotized into believing your vision. The best of the best in business, entrepreneurship, creativity, productivity are also absolutely perfectionistic. In this world right now, perfectionism has a bad reputation. Of course, no one wants to be psychologically unhealthy. And yet, I'm not judging. I'm just reporting the best of the best. Absolutely want things perfect. They have the highest of standards. They are automatically focused on the creation of their cysteine ceiling chapel. What else? The best of the best in terms of business and the arts are

also very good at enrolling and energizing people to be on their team and to help them get their crusade done, which brings me to energy. I think energy is more important than even your intelligence because you could have the best product, you could have the best team, you could have the best business, you could have the best market opportunity. But if you get up every morning and you're exhausted, if you don't have what I call the execution fire to get your ethical ambitions done, and if you don't have that vision to turn your promises into productivity, then your genius remains unspent and you become one of those people who are all talk and less do. And I know that's not you. So please allow me to show what I do to maximize my energy every single day. Number one, excellent rest. Become a professional sleeper. Rest is not a luxury, it's an absolute necessity. We know about the science. One of the number one ways to cut your life short is to be sleep

deprived. We know that when we are exhausted, we don't get our best ideas. We don't have a lot of energy. We are not very good at our productivity. We get easily distracted. Number two, eat clean food as much as possible. Avoid processed food foods with a ton of toxins. Eat as cleanly as possibly. So physically, you will not be running on empty. Number three, fresh air. Get out into nature as much as possible. Breathe deeply. You'll have more energy. You'll get out of that fight, flight freeze response. You'll get more in the flow state. You'll get more done. Next, I would say, make sure you are hydrated. When you are well hydrated, it actually promotes mitochondrial function. You'll have more energy. You'll be more healthy. You'll even live much longer. Hi, it's Robin Sharma. I hope you've received strong value from today's episode. I encourage you

to read my latest book, The Everyday Hero Man of Festo, which is helping people from right across the world live soaring lives.
