Hello, everybody. Today we have a very fun episode. We are going to discuss the 2026
second round dynasty rookie picks where their value stands this year compared to other years
what we're doing with them joining us today, Ryan Heath, who has been deep diving the 2026
rookie class. I'm excited to dive into it. And of course, at the very end, we are going to put
our analysis to the test and blind react to trades involving 2026 rookie picks. We haven't seen
them. Let's see what the results are. It's a Dynasty Points market report and it starts.
Right now.
Thanks for tuning back in with us. If you've listened to us before, welcome back. Happy
you're finding your way back. If you're new here, welcome in. Have a seat. Let's look at some
Dynasty market evaluations. We have had a couple episodes talking about the ups and downs of
free agency and reactions. Today we're getting back to our bread and butter. Dynasty,
trades, how we're looking at a couple of different assets. There's one player, though,
Buck, you and I haven't really talked about. And I couldn't think of anyone better to bring in to
help us discuss Jalen Waddle more than Ryan Heath. You've been diving in so much to what we learned,
how things fit, a lot of wider seaver discussions. Let's talk the trade of Waddle. I think this
directly reflects this draft class. Some people disagree with that. We both, I believe, move Jalen
Waddle up to wider seaver 20 in our freshly published Dynasty ranks over at fantasypoints.com.
I'm pretty sure I could have talked to myself into moving them 16, 17, but I held at 20.
I would love to hear your thoughts on Waddle, kind of your expectations and where your trade value
kind of sits with him right now. Yeah, so I'm going to come in relatively bullish, I think,
on Jalen Waddle and the Waddle trade in general. He's a really good player. He was eight in first
downs for our run across the entire NFL last year. I think he's still got it. Now some of that,
of course, is all of the kind of heavier personnel, although like efficiency hacks that
McDaniel likes to pull, but Sean Payton also not a bad offensive mind to be with there.
And what is kind of interesting about the Sean Payton offense, especially last year, is that
in Denver, really, throughout his time, he's kind of had like one full-time wide receiver
that has been over 70, 75% of the routes and just a bunch of rotational guys behind whoever that
number one guy is. For a lot of the time, it has been Courland Sutton, but at times last year,
it was kind of rotating through. It was Troy Franklin for a bit. Just like kind of reading the vibes
of the wide receiver usage in Denver, it kind of told me that they were looking for like a true
number one guy, really, or they were looking to upgrade in some manner. Clearly, they do that here.
The trade compensation is significant. Anything that is going to involve a first round pick,
just kind of immediately tells you, okay, there are plans, big plans for this guy usage wise.
So that is great for Waddle. And yeah, I just kind of end up with him. I think he is going to be like
a mid-range wide receiver too for me for redraft this year. And yeah, that certainly translates to
a top 20 dynasty wide receiver. His per out metrics have basically always been great.
The fantasy points for game haven't necessarily been there the past few years, just playing next
retiree kill to a completely like his mind and body falling apart. Just all of the extenuating
circumstances. But yeah, I think this is actually a pretty good situation for Waddle. I think he
is just a straight up better target earner than Courland Sutton at these points in their careers.
So yeah, I'm pretty happy to have Waddle inside my top 20.
Yeah, it's a little bit of consistent explosiveness, which is something that I have heard.
Often, they've clearly been looking for this. There was the Marvin Mims experiment.
There obviously was Troy Franklin, who at one point people were really high on into last year.
This really just feels like, like you said, Waddle is going to be the one
Courland Sutton becomes the maybe over the middle role player. You watch Courland Sutton
in the playoffs and he was blanketed by everybody. Like he, his separation, not nearly as good,
might have one big issue with Waddle in this offense. And it's bonics a little bit. Now,
I'm pro bonics. I have been I believe people are too low on him in general.
A lot of film bros don't like him. He's been a top 10 top 9 fantasy quarterback over his first two
years, but a lot of that comes down to his rushing. And he was 18th last year in fantasy points per
dropback. That's behind JJ McCarthy. So on a per dropback basis, bonics hasn't exactly been
extraordinary. I suppose throwing the ball. So I'm going to see how that works out. Buck,
we have been very pro Waddle, especially at his cost. This feels like going from a my I'm,
oh my goodness, a Miami team that lost her head coach, got rid of their quarterback,
brought in Malik Willis within his career, high 23 passive attempts in a game, just an absolute
nightmare scenario, moving him to an offense that has been red hot. This feels like his price is
going to bump. I'll start this question with you and I'll come back with it to Ryan. What is your
draft pick baseline for trading for Waddle? Like the 107, right? That's that's after the top three
receivers, the running back, the quarterback, and then whatever like mystery players in there,
like the fourth receiver that gets, you know, whatever draft capital, I think 107,
maybe CD, you know, anything after that's fine. Yeah. Yeah. That are like, you know,
conception gets like some crazy spot or something. And he's like the one he's like the one six
or whatever. But I think that's what I would pay. I mean, I don't think his like actual price really,
I don't really think his price moves very much because he was still he has, obviously,
has a name and he stayed, you know, he stayed valuable. He's more of a player now. It's going to be
harder to get off a team as people are going to be less likely to move him, but his price probably
say the same. Like I think top 20 dinosaurs here is fine. It'll be 28 and late November. So it's
age 28 season for him. So I don't think you can go much higher than that. Like I don't think you could
like jump him over. She writes or anything. I think that's kind of crazy. Just based on age and
everything. But I like Waddle. Like I'm interested in the spot. I'm like I said, like I'm probably
closer to nothing but Nix is, you know, that great. If an NFL quarterback, I don't know which
doesn't matter. He should get a lot of layup targets. And he's always been in that like, well, now
they're starting to kind of age out to like more, you know, like dynasty buys, but he came in with
Devonti Smith and you know, it's him. Devonti Smith, like all those white or silver twos on their team.
He was always like the best metric wise of all those like three that we would always talk about.
Even later, he could bring on like Jordan Addison. Like Jalen Waddle always had metrics as a
wider server one, just playing in a role of a wider server too. And we've never been able to see him
play in like a voluminous past offense really or you know, as the main guy. And when he has like
last year, he got to play in it, but the offense was terrible. I created and he obviously like Waddle
is frustrating. He will leave like a ton of games like that. That just is what happens with him.
But I think in a better infrastructure and on a new team, I think I think it should be really
good for him. But yeah, I think his value kind of has to stagnate just based on the fact that you
28 and then you look at him next off season going to age 29. So I think if you aren't contending
probably probably should get out now because it's probably your last shot to get Max value,
but I think he's definitely a buy after the 1.06 for sure.
Okay, so I just went and had a look from trades from a month ago. So that's well before the trade
obviously. You're getting trades like Waddle in the 305 for Javante Williams popping up here.
28 second in the 311 for Waddle in Justin Fields. But you do see Quentin Johnston in the 303 for
Waddle. It's kind of kind of right around where that was. I think that was that the low of the low
peaks and valleys, if you would, the low of the Waddle Miami dumpster fire that was kind of happening.
That was at a time where like people actually thought Quintiours had a chance to start
meaningful football games for the dolphins next year. So I can see where that is, but we do
see a couple 106s and 107s here already. So I'm going to throw this back over to Ryan while Ryan's
giving his pick breakdown. I'm going to look at the trades just from the last couple of weeks and
see where that value kind of lies. But Ryan, what's your cutoff here for buying Waddle? I'll just say
this. I'm very pro moving my picks for point scoring pieces with upside with this draft class. So
I'm interested to hear what you have. Box was 107. Let's hear what you got.
Yeah, my analysis isn't actually going to be that different from what Buck just gave. I would
definitely do 107. I would probably do 106 right now too. That's more of a move though where it's
like you don't have to do it today and you might prefer to wait just because, yeah, like one of
these three receivers, either Concepcion Cooper or Denzel Boston is going to get like that landing
spot that people lose their minds over and like move them up to the top of the tier four.
And maybe you traded the 106 pre-draft that becomes like a value loss. That like is the spot where
whichever receiver or whichever landing spot people lose their minds over. It is going to go
if it's like Kenyan Sadiq to like the chiefs or something, like just something like that,
that's that going to be that 106. I think realistically I'm still fine giving up 106, but yeah,
that's my only caveat is it could very much be like a you wish you would have waited until
after the draft to trade the 106 type of deal for that particular spot. But yeah, anything after
that is totally fine with me. I'm hovering in around the 107 myself. I mean, you could see something
like Stowers or Sadiq end up on Baltimore and then all of a sudden it is a it is a deep
sigh of regret that that 106 is off your roster. So I think you're right, you have time.
All right, we're just under a month away from the NFL draft. It's not a a must-rush move,
but I will say looking at the prices just from the date Waddle was traded to now.
Waddle and Kyle Pits for James Cook in a third. George Pickens or Waddle and the 208.
You've got Tramock Bride in a .5 10 premium start 10. Tramock Bride for Waddle Pits and a 271.
Like these prices now we're getting into big boy trades. At these prices I would very much consider
selling. Obviously there's going to be a rush of people like I would definitely rather have
Pickens over Waddle in the 208. Yeah. Right. If you're getting these kinds of prices I would say
I lean him being more of a sell after looking at some of these prices. Like the 110 and the 310
I would take Waddle there. But we're talking about like a 27 second the 109 and the 111 for Waddle
in a third. I mean at that point I know I'm low on this class but I think that's okay. I think I
would be okay with Waddle there. I don't two ones even in it's basically two early twos like
is how I think of that. Right and we're going to get to that part obviously when we talk about
the seconds but I look at it like even those two first there might be an opportunity for me to turn
those into like two running backs right to other valuable position pieces come draft day on your
leagues draft day. So that's where I get hesitant to move two ones because these are to us first that
are viewed as early twos let's say in the quality of the draft might read that way for us but on
draft day we both know how managers get you're going to fall in love with their guy someone in the
guys I've seen it across multiple discourse where guys are I'm getting real I'm starting to get
real hyped over over drafting these do it's why what is leading you to do this and we're still seeing
the content machine across multiple YouTube channels pump out you know at the back end of the
first round pit a first round this year so valuable and so so the content machine is still pumping
that out and that gives us the opportunity to kind of capitalize on that. So two first I feel like
you could put those first with other pieces to really get valuable running backs etc which
anyone that listens to this show knows how valuable those ugly fat ass running backs are
and why they're so crucial to success like if I can go and use that 109 and something else to go and
get a Josh Jacobs who's falling in value currently for no reason even though nothing has changed
for him yeah I feel like that's going to be valuable plus another pick so just a different way
to look at it when it comes to those late first I guess something that I think a lot of people
are really talking about right now because it's every rookie to the moon all the time rather than
how we can kind of use those late first sword manage so that's where I draw the line at the two first
but you're right for the most part on these prices I'm a cell like a 28 first and a 28 second for
Waddle I would probably take the 28s I just think I would so I mean he can also be a cell but
I think where we had it that 107 range and later obviously those are deals we are okay with so it's
hovering rate and around wide receiver 20 to 22 for us right now in the ranks so that's the first
bit that's Jalen Waddle really enjoyed that let's take our first break and when we come back we're
going to dive into a little bit of what we were talking about here how these late first kind of
reflect the being early seconds where these seconds are going in startup drafts compared to previous
years especially last year so sit back relax don't go anywhere we'll be right back

welcome back in everybody Ryan you've been doing so much work
writing and writing I feel like Scott has just locked you away in your room told you not to leave
until all of the rookie prospecting is done on top of you developing your own model welcome to
the model bros I expect every fifth word to be model from here fourth when it is fully complete
but you've been diving into these rookies way more than buck and I have so I would love to get your
take on how this rookie class kind of looks in that late one into the second and then from there
we'll move to where these picks are being valued and how that reflects to managers so let's get
your take on the late one and then into the seconds yeah so starting in the late one there are
three kind of like what I would call like B tier prospects for wide receivers Casey Concepcion
Denzel Boston Omer Cooper all those guys are probably going to go between 106 and 109 or 110
in general that's kind of what I would think of as like the the late first in a typical class right
uh all of these prospects uh rank above like I just you're kind of your typical like late first
reach types of guys like your zavier ligats your rickie pier stalls uh your yeah I don't know
your Michael Pittman's like those types of prospects those guys are all a step above that
they're a step below like your Calvin Ridley's uh your DJ more is like for people that remember
those classes just trying to like orient a little bit those were guys that went like solidly
mid late first in dynasty rookie drafts there are those guys for the wide receiver class uh I suspect
that Sadeek and Stowers are both gonna be late firsts as well uh those guys are both quite a bit
below like all of the kind of top tight ends that we've seen come out the past few years uh I'm kind
of fine with both of them I have them ranked like among those receivers uh I think like the really
big drop off is at 110 uh or what sorry at 111 right now I just have like Jonah Coleman Jadarian
Price like penciled in there in my rookie rankings I don't think either of those are like super
compelling dynasty assets are like super amazing players that I would ever want to take in the first
round of like a normal draft like those are very solidly just like second round dynasty type profiles
to me uh and it might not be exactly those guys but I think 111 12 is gonna be uh whoever landed
the best whichever running backs like got draft capital and might have a chance to compete for a
role that's like your 111 12 to me that's comparable to like oh I'm taking Tre Benson in the early
second uh or like with whatever there's always a guy like that in every rookie class it feels like
that goes in like round three maybe round four to like a really good spot or something and he gets
steamed up to the early second that's like every running back in this class actually Jeremiah love
I don't think anybody like surpasses that for me so yeah I think right now you should just look at
111 as a second round pick essentially uh and yeah everything after 106 is like a late first in a
normal year at best uh do you want me to get into round two or do you do you want to break it up
and not have me talk for for 10 minutes straight well let's dive into this back into the first round
as much as I could listen to you uh wax poetic about uh these these rookies right now let's break
down kind of that late round we're looking at compare like we're talking like T Higgins like you
know a two a one at 80 p and rookie drafts these T Higgins would be like the one five one six in
this class in my opinion like to me there are just miles apart in terms of the quality of prospect
not all first round picks are are equal to one another right we have levels of prospects like I
believe just just randomly and if you if you don't have the answer we can just pass but what
Keon Coleman type players the Keon Coleman compared to this draft class and Keon Coleman was a
from that mistaken like a 108 to 110 pick after he went to Buffalo do you know where around
Keon Coleman would sit in like this draft class in terms of prospect quality yeah I can tell you
we're both T Higgins and Keon Coleman rank like among my wide receiver model uh obviously this
doesn't take landing spot into account or any of that but yeah just purely like as a prospect
T Higgins ranked above all of Denzel Boston Omer Cooper and Casey Concepcion I probably
would have him pretty close with Concepcion as a prospect so yeah Higgins an easy 106 if you were
in this class if that profile were Keon Coleman I have a bit lower he's behind all three of those
guys but he is ahead of every single day two wide receiver that is in this class or projected day
two wide receiver my model has Coleman ahead of an Elijah Sarat ahead of a Chris Brazl I had a
Chris Bell I had a Jeremy Bernard anybody on day two my model like Keon Coleman better yeah and
that's like exactly that's the point yeah and when and you get yeah it's the the players aren't real
that that is really what it feels like and all of these are I so I just named off like the four
wide receivers that I'm okay that I have currently ranked like in round two of rookie drafts
uh yeah pretty much none of them would be guys I'd have taken over Jaden Higgins or Luther
Verden or at yeah any of these like round two picks that we had in previous seasons uh yeah
literally all those names I just mentioned are ahead of even Sarat who I quite like uh
Trey Harris even ahead of all of them so yeah just like transport yourself back to like the late
second of last year when we were taking shots on like Kyle Williams and Jayly Noel uh like these guys
are like a little like probably closer to that than to the early second round picks from last year
in terms of just wide receivers yeah that Buffalo please hire some fantasy football model developers
because even in this class Keon Coleman was a rough pick uh brutal absolutely brutal I love that
though that's a nice way to look at the comparison between these late firsts and and into the
seconds here I know Buck was a super stoked that Trey Harris has got mentioned that's that's one of
bucks dudes but let's let's dive into these second round picks here now because it gets
interesting in terms of value last year through March I compared to the day the first to when we're
recording this on the 27th uh the 201 so the first selection in the second round was going at the
9.9 between uh Macmillan or as we call a Macmillan and Cortland Sutton this year it's going all the way
at the 11.12 which is a significant decrease no matter how you look at it uh that's going in and
around Romeo Dobbs Xavier Worthy Michael Penix the Rhino Ramandre Stevenson still way too low at
the 12.02 and then you get the 202 around Jaden Reed Mason Taylor and everyone's would be
Y2.01 Josh Downs so obviously we're seeing a mass value decline here and it's reflected with
with some of the prospects you mentioned here I don't want any of them Ryan and I think when we
were discussing having you on I mentioned like we just really want to talk about are we right or
wrong mostly for just not wanting to make a selection in the second if I could turn these
second round picks into a Ramandre plus or a Parker Washington I think I'm absolutely doing it
because I don't see there being that bigot of them between the 110 and the 201 like you mentioned
yeah I do think that's probably the move is sell your seconds for productive veterans in general
this year uh I I love that you mentioned Jaden Reed and Josh Downs because fun fact both of those
guys rank above pretty much all of these like round two wide receivers in my model except for
Elijah Sirot he's the only one that got models out as better than Downs and Reed did as prospects
which is surprising given like the the change the difference in draft capital there those guys
went a bit later I it's probably like the best way to make this point actually is right right now
I have Ty Simpson slotted into my 201 and I made this description on a mock draft that I did with
Jacob and Theo on the channel a week or two ago but it's that is basically just a way worse version
of the Jackson Dart bet that you were making it 201 last year it's like okay dart like if he goes
in the first he is fantasy friendly he runs like that could just be an easy like profit type of
pick he like ends up as a starter uh Ty Simpson has a way worse profile than a Jackson Dart
way worse for fantasy as well yeah but that that's like as good as we get at 201 it's just yeah
it's very very rough and brutal what what big games like has Mendelsohn played it now like if
we were talking about Ty Simpson like come on now like let's just be listening for real here
not not the agency description seal no no no no no uh yeah truly what a wild I can't
notice back what I can't believe that guy has an MVP vote um you're right it really sucks that
there's no like smash late round QB or not even late round early second QB this is really damaging
to my brand in a year like this I have been above average on Jackson Dart I was on the on his ADP
and rookie drafts I was way ahead on bonix he was my 19 110 that year there's not even a there's
not even a quarterback that I could maybe sort of get behind here like I feel like Milro would have
been like 202 last year consider use like the 2627 uh oh sorry this year considering it's 2627
last year is there if there was a player that you were
maybe excited for Ryan in terms of these 201 202 that wasn't Ty Simpson because at least with Simpson
you can understand if that quarterback does hit smash pick it just again we talked about this
on dynasty points here this last week I don't have faith in any of the organizations outside of LA
being the ones that draft him we know if Ty Simpson hits it's gonna be huge for you in value
who else if any do you expect to possibly be a potential good to smash pick there because we're
about to talk about trading all of these picks away so I want to give some positivity and hope to
those that disagree with us here before we're all called dumb in the comments yeah there are two
that I could make the case for from a ceiling perspective one is Sarat who I've already mentioned
I just think he's a way better prospect than the NFL like projected draft capital is currently
giving him credit for uh it was out producing Omar Cooper who's a projected first round pick uh
has one of the best like per route profiles of any recent wide receiver prospect to come out uh
even if you are like getting rid of everything that he did before getting to Indiana in a non-power
conference like it all the efficiency stuff looks amazing with Sarat uh the issue is he's a projected
round three pick right now but basically all my model stuff is is saying yeah like he's so good
that he should be ranked higher than that uh I I have him like right next to George Pickens
in my model right now uh I mean also to be fair also near Tyler Boyd and KJ Hamler and Jaden Reed
like these are it's not a hundred percent prospecting never is but like this is a high upside
range there have been some good players here uh Sarat's fun he's he's big kind of like outside contested
catch type of winner uh Brett really likes him is above consensus compared to I think most of the
film community on him so he's like the fantasy points favorite the analytics are gonna love him
Brett really loves him that's like who I'm circling in round two of rookie drafts I don't think
you're even going to need to spend the 201 or the 202 on him my guess is that the community
in general will prefer some of these other guys he's he'll probably be more of a mid second
consensus so I like Sarat outside of that it's pretty tough uh I think these other wide receivers
are okay Chris Brazl is like okay if you ignore that he's from Tennessee and no Tennessee
wide receiver has ever been good um hey I I got that comment on YouTube on our YouTube page after
I talked about how like I have a type the old joke that I have a type the Alex Pierce Mac millen
right I have he's that I'm just gonna pretend that he didn't go to Tennessee I'm gonna pretend
that I'm not helmet scouting him because again I do like him for better or worse he is my guy
this year yeah and I mean to to be fair uh Brett has like assured me that his tape at Tulane
was actually awesome too uh so that that would suggest that it's not only like the the fake
coupon offense that has kind of led to the production uh so I can understand getting excited
about him uh after that though it's just kind of rough I start like wanting to rank tight ends
that are probably gonna go in round three around four uh over some of the day two wide receivers um
all of those guys you're probably gonna get in round three I I actually would love to sit in like
early round three of rookie drafts this year I feel like that's kind of the soft spot in terms of
where the like the I start getting prospects that I like at value just because there are so many
wide receivers that are gonna go on day two of the NFL draft that I have absolutely no interest in
but I think are going to go as round two or round three dynasty picks just because of where
they're drafted uh these are like your Malachi fields your Zachariah branches uh I don't like
Skyler Bell I know a lot of people like Skyler Bell not into those guys even Antonio Williams is
kind of met to me like slot guy whatever uh so like there are gonna be a lot of these like
round two NFL draft picks I think that kind of crowd out some of the interesting talent and
like gets guys to drop into like early round three I think that's really the soft spot that's where
you can start drafting like every whoever your favorite move tight end is in this class there
there are like five guys that could be the next or on day gadsin essentially like that that's kind
of where I start getting interested again uh so yeah I either trade out in the second round or
send or send the picks for veterans is where I am currently at I just want to shout out a guy
Tyler Boyd real quick because I'm not gonna tolerate any slander for the record in 2018 2019
he was wide receiver 16 and 18 uh Marvin Harrison Jr wishes so I think if you're getting Tyler
Boyd at 201 you're probably pretty happy um yeah he was a he was a wide receiver three even all
the way up until uh 2023 so I mean like at that point a usable fantasy asset at 201 in this class
I feel like that's that's that's the dream um I know we all want like Justin Jefferson who went
at 111 I know we all want that but the odds of that are just so slim as it is buck I'll ask you
the same question before we take our last break here and get into the actual trades is there a
favorite pick at 201 or 202 for any second that you actually might have and haven't traded it for
every fat unknown running back in every league is there a favorite that you have before we get into
trading the boy well you stuck up for Tyler Boyd now I'm gonna stick up for KJ Hamler shout out
Penn State legend KJ Hamler it was all injury related it was gonna happen another bronco should
should that should happen I think he's still like flying around the league he was on the bills
recently he's in the NFL you can say he's coming back I'm gonna come back he's probably only like
26 there we go I don't see when does birthday when does birthday I don't know in May I'll be
in saying I have to say shout out Penn State legend but um no honestly some of these players though
the market agreeing is it actually July 8th you're all so close for the the wide receiver birthday
God some of these some of these late first though like they are like if you look at
Diancy Data Lab they are kind of also agreeing with us which kind of sucks which kind of makes
me want his ag to be honest like I'm not sending like if you look at the 111 it goes 111 Tyler
Ausier Quentin Johnson Isaiah likely Matthew Goldin might go Blake Korum Corlin Sutton Jacobi Myers
Xavier Worthy Rico Dowdall and then the 112 I'm not like I just take the first so we're everyone
of those players like I can't send the for like I'm not sending a first for Tyler Ausier who's
gonna be like a grind or two down grind on the worst offense in the league or Isaiah likely who
somehow just continues to keep value and has never done anything like the only player I
that's the tight end one for the team you don't care about though yeah he yeah great he's
gonna be the tight end 15 points for game you know we have 40 for 400 or something
and somehow next year he's still gonna be worth the first but no my um so I would take I really
would just like take the shot on the rookie over like all those guys like Rico Dowdall is
valued at a first round pick like that's absurd to me could we look at some targets too though
because I know that like the ADP stuff is kind of weird with with picks this time of year
yeah because people rather pick the player over the kicker we've had about that but for my
for my player I'll go with one I'll go with both Penn State running backs obviously Allen is
gonna probably get the higher draft capital and probably will if he gets the right capital probably
won't be a first still probably will be like late first I still envision him being like the 201
to the 203 I think at worst you know he kind of profiles closer to a Tyler Ausier where he's
probably not gonna gonna do a lot on third downs but I think he's just a good player like
you say on the field and have you know like a Tyler Ausier rookie season where he just has you
know a thousand yards rushing and doesn't really do much you know receiving but and the other guy
is my my actual goal is Nick Singleton who I'm just gonna bet on the fact that I know he didn't get
to test which really sucks for him Trevor ETN or Trevor H&N last year went in the fourth round
and then they they threw in the fourth round with no production no one thought he was good but he
used SEC back that was really young right and he still went in the early fourth round
Nick Singleton former five star former number one player in his class Pennsylvania player the
year twice one of the best running back recruits of all time amazing freshman year pretty good
sophomore year and then really bad last year battle injuries or coach gets fired the team absolutely
creators like they were the top three team the nation they ended up ending the season like six
and six unranked no one on the team was good I'm just gonna bet on the fact that someone picks him
in day two and he goes somewhere in the third round and he is you know very athletic and very
fast very athletic does does everything on all three downs they just bet on like if he gets the
role that he's going to be a lot better of a fantasy asset than like cage on Alan who we know
what he is like he's probably going to be a solid info running back but if we look for like those
massive hits are like historic RB season type like Singleton has the profile to do it as far as
you know like size speed and everything and if we kind of just ignore last year which I know
it's hard and just kind of look at his freshman year like we talk about Debbie guys like he was
people were thinking he was be like the 101 to 103 you know two years ago so I'm just
going to bet on the fact that Singleton still ends up with like day two capital even if he goes
in day three and it's early I'll be interested but Trevor like Trevor H and last year obviously
like that's the comp like SEC back didn't do anything goes you know in day three in a really really
good running back class someone's going to fall in love with Singleton and pick him I think and
that would be my guy in the second round yeah I I spoke up for for Singleton at the end of dynasty
points last week as well as Washington junior I just think someone's going to fall in love with
the speed same reason you decided I think Singleton not testing really hurt him and again someone might
fall in love with the athleticism and what they see remember there wasn't long ago he was compared
to Sequan like people the devi community will sure tell you that but he was what's going on in
the devi community is Nick Singleton is Sequan I was unaware of this oh it was coming out coming
out of high school yeah that was they're both obviously both Pennsylvania players so huge
wise Sequan came out and said that he was going to break all the records like just Pennsylvania
recruits like Nick Singleton is like our our greatest recruit in Pennsylvania is like is
trail prior but Nick Singleton is like right there like he's one he like that dude is you know multiple
times of his player the air he was a five star top running back in his class that's why I talk
about devi not being like a real thing because you know that they'll tout somebody I think it would
happen with Braylon Allen Braylon Allen was like can't miss 18-year-old super jack size speed everything
went out smashed in college and look at him in the NFL he's just not close to being the same player
which is ended up with value though at some point like well everyone assumed it you know he was
taking Breeze Hall's job which wall I mean that's not Lemau that's not real was never real
and still isn't so is grinding the mocks like a thing is Nick Singleton was he supposed to be a day
three pick is anyone now yeah he is supposed to be a day three pick yep someone pick him on a day
two huh well he's like on the borderline though he was like fringe top 100 if if I remember correctly
you need Seattle to fall in love with him if Seattle falls in love with him and takes him around
three or eight yeah he jumps out he he takes the kale of Johnson route it's right he's
straight sermon if he goes to the COX to one yet to one to two absolutely I mean again the the
fat Caleb Johnson stuff to one you know desperation RB team 111 like I can I can see that there's
a pathway for it yeah I just I don't know I just don't think Nick Singleton sucks I really don't
I know that's like I just don't think so I'll never watch the Penn State game but never never never
say them never say them never seen their quarterback either that's supposedly also going in early
day two early second round your your Twitter feed sometimes buck is truly legendary I'm so happy I'm
not popular enough all right let's take our last break before we get into some of these trades and
when we do we're gonna come back we're discussing trading four and a way second round picks don't

karma app all right Ryan this is how it's gonna go every time buck and I do an entire show
we give all of the analysis our opinions what we think is or isn't real and we put it to the test
I have not looked at these trades yet I have just pulled up the list so we are going to do a would we
wouldn't we on these trades I have it just for anyone wondering I have it set to any 2026 second
so sometimes we're going to have to be figuring out if these picks are later or earlier at a point
five tight end premium I do have it set for single and super flex quarterback settings for those
people that want us to do more single quarterback content I did promise it was coming and these are
also from the last month so we're going to see if we're taking the player or taking the picks
also understand if you are listening to this and you go that trade wouldn't happen in my league
then that trades not for you that's something we have to add as a disclaimer all the time not in my
league is not something that we consider because there are millions of dynasty fantasy football players
and we're trying to get into the minds of the average we understand that you are the sharpest
dynasty player to ever exist we know that so with that being said let's take a look at some of
these picks I did find it hard to find picks that trades that didn't have like nine assets and
four wide receivers and so I'm taking the easiest ones that I could find to break down so right
off the bat we have an odd one this one is is kind of obvious but we have got the 204
or the 2026 207 and the 301 yeah give me the two picks
luck I kind of I mean I guess the two picks I kind of would just want the 204 but just to have
the shot at the better player since I think all of them suck I wanted the player that's
ranked higher right I'd rather have the higher ring player with the two lower ring players so I
guess I would just take the 204 actually yeah it's a great great look at what Ryan said where he
kind of wants to live a little bit inside that early third so little bit I think it's easier to
take the 204 and package him with something else so that's that's where my brain's looking at
that's a really strange trade to do not on the clock yeah just randomly just trading up to the 204
with like before the shaft and march that's weird that's a I know film trade like that is that
is your devi player that's who that is we found one you can usually identify it in in some of these
trades let's move that he's moving up for Nick Singleton before he's going to top 16 yep
oh no it can't be it can't be buck because buck doesn't have seconds he's traded
all of his 28 seconds away already so all right we have got the 205 or JK Dobbins
oh yeah I'm like I think you can get better than JK Dobbins for the 205 I'll I'll take the 205
yeah I just don't think Dobbins is ever going to eclipse the second at least the player you
draft has a shot to you know eclipse that value yeah Dobbins is just like a second for the rest of
his career it's good really good when he played last year and that's kind of the story of JK Dobbins
he's always good when he plays and just doesn't play a lot that that is that is the downside I think
I'm taking the second there too so so far very interesting we've got Isaiah likely bucks favorite
tight end the man responsible for ending all of the Theo Johnson discussion much to Jacob's delight
we have got Isaiah likely or the 207 in a 0.5 tight end premium oh that changes it I'll take the 207
yeah I'll I'll also take the 207 I I would like to end all Isaiah likely discussion the
this draft has like five Isaiah likely in it that's if you are until there's not there's not more
place if you are into Isaiah likely you should be acquiring wait seconds and thirds in this draft
and you should be drafting the Justin Jolies and the Tanner Cosials there are so many of there are
so many Isaiah likely is in this draft class so yeah if that's your kind of player I you you should
be getting picks in this class and it will not cost you the two of us this the worst news I've
gone all week I didn't think it could have caused worse a couple of minutes ago he he mentioned
someone named like a he and pretty sure he mentioned Giovanni Bernard when he's talking about
wider sewers and now we're talking about a bunch of Isaiah likely this is box works nightmare
and that's the the worst part is that's my favorite part of the class I've had by far the most
fun writing up titan for through titan nine in this class out of any other group of players those
are genuinely the most interesting and it's because all of them are Isaiah likely
that's so depressing that's so depressing all right we have got Kyler Murray or the 201
Kyler yeah give me Kyler yeah Kyler Murray or Tyson's in I'll take Kyler yeah
exactly even if they just get one year uh let's go let's add on to that now this is going to test your
your belief system here Ryan Aaron Jones and Kyler Murray or Christian Watson and the 208
um let's see Aaron Jones Kyler Murray Aaron Jones is like not relevant to this trade at all so
it's essentially Watson in the 208 for Kyler um I think that's an okay like cubie need type of
deal on either side I'll lean the Watson side uh you would yeah I I would have Watson around probably
the like the 108 in this class to give people an idea I've seen a bunch of Christian Watson for
111 12 trades as well when I was just looking after we were having that conversation so if you have
111 12 send it for Christian Watson I'm down for doing that or like a Alec Pure seat like those
types of receivers I'm happy to get with the 111 or 112 all right buck if I need a quarterback
I would send Watson the toy for Kyler honestly it's in general if you just look at upside of that
deal like if Kyler you know does even half of what we think he should and everything he's just
gonna be worth like if he wins a job which we all expect him to and he plays well in the job he's
like worth you know a first and a half and I don't think Watson could jump up to that so obviously
there's downside of Kyler somehow he loses or he gets hurt again but if you need a quarterback I
definitely do it if you just have Christian Watson's like a wider sewer seven on your team because
obviously it was really cheap last year and you just want to look for value I think I'd also do it
but if you have like four QIs or something just keep your order sewer yeah I agree we have a I
see Ryan every once in a while I look through trades and I'm trying to find like really good ones
but I'm trying to do it quickly so we're not here forever and then I find some that I just call
not real this is a not real trade there's no way a person made this deal but I'm gonna ask it
anyway it is the two oh three and the two oh seven or Kenneth Walker yeah give me Walker thanks
not real yeah that is that is a free Ken Walker that's not real but go try it those are the ones
I we joke about we say aren't real it's not a real thing but go and try it those are the trades we
like to say you never know because you don't again there could just be someone looking to move off
a Ken Walker he's actually gonna lose touches to whoever this year's Kareem Hunt is Justin Fields
is gonna take reps away like I've seen I've seen narratives about it those are the ones you take
the darts and you go and make a toss and maybe one hits just blindfolded take a shot who knows but
that's an easy Ken Walker I don't have to I visibly saw your body reject that trade on hearing it
so I didn't really have to answer that all of our listeners know how you feel as I could just
put quote Ken Walker better is probably or better sorry Ken Walker better can't use the proper
ER there let's have a look at a trade that is a bit more of a package side deal which is a great
way to look at how to package players up and kind of what you can get for it we have got the 410
and that's really enticing but stay with me the 410 the 109 and the 205 or Terry McClauren Parker
Washington and Chris Godwin it's tough I think it's a lot of point potential yeah
I think give me the veteran the veterans but it's not it's not outrageous I think that's pretty decent
I think that's decent
book who is the player before Chris Godwin Godwin Parker Washington and who Terry McClauren oh yeah
I want the best yes so we have to we have Terry McClauren as a major buy for us over the last
little while so if you're telling me I can move the 109 the 110 4 Terry McClauren this year I think
we're all in on that and then of course if you believe on the Parker Washington breakout then that
mid second is a pretty easy decision and then you're getting a kind of a free Chris Godwin in this
4 the 410 I don't Godwin looked a little cooked but he immediately came in and started snatching
targets away from a buka so we'll see how that kind of operates a year healthier so it kind of
looks like and reads to us that we are very much okay with taking points for a lot of these picks
but we have our limits the high risk veterans are not the move for us the JK Dobbins the Isaiah
likely I think we have learned that obviously they're going to people that are really into these
picks we learn that with the Ken Walker trade we've got the Kyler Murray deal and things like that
Ryan you had mentioned guys like Christian Watson and Kyler Murray were buck and I are both a little
bit more on the Kyler Murray side and then how to kind of package some of these picks up and go
and get point scoring vets at value so a couple different ways for you guys to look at second-round
picks how to use second-round picks and the best way to do so hopefully you guys learned something
from that the discrepancies between trade value and ADP value are massive which is why we go through
these exercises almost every single week here in the offseason we'll be doing a lot more we might
even go pick by pick here in the next couple of weeks Ryan thank you for joining us we don't have
a ton of guests here on this program but again this was just an absolute perfect episode here for you
so thanks for joining us if you have more information about your model you want people to know when
even more stuff is coming out now's the time hit them with it yeah right now up on the site
on fantasypoints.com you can read my entire rookie tight end rankings and model explanation I wrote
10,000 words on 15 different tight ends from this rookie class which is just absurd that is way too
many tight ends for this rookie class but I was cooking I was enjoying it that's a totally free
read that you can go check out right now my wide receiver model and rankings will be out I would
guess at some point next week so probably not long after you're listening to this podcast look
out for that on the site running backs will be closer to the draft but yeah that's what I got going
on these just these giant model articles on fantasypoints.com that you can go read
yeah and having that stuff out for free is truly insane it's must read type material and of
course you can stay locked into the podcast feeds we're going to have lots more on this on the
regular times the points program we have a great run of guests with Graham barfield Max Tuscano
Scott Barrett all stopping by before the NFL draft leading right up to the day before the NFL
draft you're going to have a Scott Barrett podcast to listen to with us the day of the NFL draft so
that'll keep you for sure occupied I'm excited for that and then guys Monday we are recording
the last pre NFL draft rookie mock draft so I'm excited for that but we're going to have you
get in on that as well I'm excited for that we'll get Lucas in on that it's going to be a full
dynasty points podcast rookie mock draft I'm excited also want to give but credit did not mention
baseball one time even though it was opening day the other day so there you go for the listeners
that really adamantly dislike baseball also notice no comments about the basketball reference
last week guys so basketball is okay but baseball is not I see how it is what was the basketball
reference it was yellow before yeah yeah yeah we've talked to total 37 seconds of baseball the last
two weeks and gotten shit on both times it's like the worst 37 seconds of their life you know what
that means Buck it's that our baseball podcast that we are originally Ryan you may not know this
but Buck and I were originally going to start a baseball podcast because Buck hated me in terms of
fantasy football so let's look it's true I'll release the DM stop playing games and do business
what are you a comedian all these types of comments so Kevin Hart in the chat yeah Kevin Hart in
the chat yeah that was another good one but anyway that's the show for today go watch some baseball
enjoy life and go read all of Ryan's articles my lord anyway remember that colorizing full
heart can never lose at your best days are always spent tilting we'll catch you guys next time
