The Netflix documentary has returned this case to millions of viewers.It has also generated new discussion about the victims, the investigation, the evidence and the unanswered question of motive.My concern is that Kohberger’s new campaign could shift attention away from Kaylee, Madison, Xana and Ethan and redirect it toward him.That cannot be allowed to happen.The legal filing should be examined. His allegations should be tested. But his claim should not automatically be treated as a major evidentiary breakthrough merely because it arrived alongside a major television release.The evidence has to determine the outcome—not publicity.
