Wake up, wake up in the morning. Then you turn already on and the doubts just keeps on turning. And then you hear any emilence, box, whew. With the steep red habit trying to put you through.
Like these rotten, this week's next vid. If I be on the box, so you know what this is. This is the Bobby Bond song. I'm not losing my pen every time I do this too. Might be sitting on it. I think I saw it earlier. It's all the way in my butt. I don't even realize it's completely all the way in my butt. Like it might have fallen in the back. Or in the crack. Yeah, in the crack back there. Mike, we just, oh, it's in the crack. It's back there. No, a mine. Okay, my crack. I lose my stupid pen every time. Hey, so we had a murder in our building, which is crazy. This happened Monday, Labor Day, Scoobie Steve, saw the body. And we were so just blown away by just the act of that happening here. That we kind of passed over the fact that Scoobie now thinks he's possessed. Scoobie Steve is our executive producer. And Scoobie thinks that since he was above where the guy was shot,
that his body went into his body. Oh, my gosh. Right. And I am not kidding. This is not a joke in that he believes it. Scoobie, true or false? Yeah, my energy is very different from, I'm sure seeing a dead body doesn't help with any of this. And even when I left work yesterday, it was the first time my entire life I've been afraid to leave somewhere, especially in my place of work. Like I booked it to my car and got the hell out of here. Did you park somewhere different this morning? I don't park on P5 anymore. I saw his truck somewhere else. Yeah, he's, he parks on my floor now. That's being irrational. No, it's not. Parking your car in a different spot. No, I wouldn't want to go back to where I saw a dead body. I think trauma affects people in a lot of ways. And I don't think trauma and being rational have a great relationship. Correct. Scoobie, Steve, do you think that his spirit, the guy that was killed is in you? I don't know if it at this moment, but for a while I felt very different from how I normally felt. Okay, but describe it please, because again, our listeners heard you say that you think his spirit went into your body.
I felt like dealing drugs. I mean, he was a drug. He was killed. This is really, he's losing me. Like I have a lot of, I hate this for scuba that he saw the dead body in that sucks. But then when he starts to talk about the body lifting up into him or now he wants to deal drugs in the line. I was kidding about the dealing drugs thing. I was just messing around. Which I mean humor is one way to deal with trauma. So what really, what do you think happened with his spirit? Yes. I don't know. I felt like for a moment there because I had that same thing happen to me in San Francisco where something entered me. And I felt this overwhelming sadness for absolutely no reason. You're laughing at a bunch of bucks. You're the guy with the whole stupid closet store. You tell every six months. Yeah, he's still in the closet. You're going to go ahead. So again, if you're new to the show, scuba I'd believe with his whole heart that he had another ghost go inside of him for a while. Tell that story. Oh, yeah. So it was in San Francisco and I was living, I lived in Nob Hill, which is where the Great Fire and the earthquake happened in the early 1900s. And my building was part of that. And there was allegedly a lot of spirits that were in that area where I lived.
And one day I was going to work super early in the morning, like three o'clock in the morning. And I was having a great day. I was excited. It was a normal day. I love what I did. And I got my car. And as I was walking to it, I felt this weird, overwhelming amount of sadness come over my body. And I'm in the car. And I'm happy. But then I'm not. And then I'm driving the work. And I'm like crying tears are coming out of my eyes. And I don't feel like myself. It was the weirdest feeling ever. And I couldn't shake it. And I was trying to figure out, why do I feel this way? And the moment I got to work, I opened up the car door. And it was like this, like, like, burst of energy come off my body. And then it was almost like dramatically. Like the tears went away. Everything was fine. And my life was back to normal. And I'm like, was I a vessel for this spirit to leave that place that it could not leave for a hundred years? And then finally got the chance to. So I wonder if your body's naturally a vessel. And the guy that was murdered here, vessel, do you? Oh, because he's been a vessel before. It recognizes.
Maybe so. Yeah, and with Native American roots, I don't have something to do with that. Being close to the land. Now he's the American. I've always been that way. Okay, so where are you today? Now I'm the American. Shut the hell up. Where am I today? Yeah. I mean, I'm still, I'm, it's a weird feeling to have. Like I said, I left work yesterday, afraid. And it's in, and you hear the gunshots in my head. And whenever I close my eyes, I see a dead body. So mentally, I'm a little bit messed up. I don't honestly want to be here right now, but I am. I have a job. I have to suck it up and do it. He did see a dead body, guys. He saw the dead body. No, no, and that's what I felt here. Yes, yes. But here's the, he talks about being a vessel. Here's the deal. What? So yesterday I was doing a murder tour with some people around the building. Stop calling it a murder tour. Stop that. I was just showing people kind of where the whole thing happened. It was just me and you and Ray rolled up. That was it. It was a real people. And so Scoobah is like, it's crazy because this happened right above my studio, right below my studio. And I go, Scoobah, your studio is on the other side of the building, dude. You're not even close to where this happened. We're right around the corner. And then we figured out, oh yeah, yeah, it was definitely down the way.
So okay, so Scoobah, I feel bad for you. And if you need to have some time to go talk to a therapist or just get your mind right, you always have it. You know our rule. If you don't feel good, you don't have to come in. But therapists are like a medium. Whatever he needs to do. Okay. Do we need to bring somebody in and do a Ouija board? I mean, no, I'm not into that. Eddie also thinks he's not into that. He's not into that. There's a board game at silly. I'm not doing something like that. I know this is silly. Eddie also thinks he should be in forensics. Guys, I'm telling you, when I was doing this tour, because Scoobah was just showing me like, yeah, this is where I saw the body. And then I started looking around like guys, there must be bullet holes. I found like, how many bullet holes, guys? 10 bullet holes. We ended up finding gun shells, bullets, actual bullets. I found all these things that the cops missed. Wait, yeah, shouldn't those shells have been collected? Great question. I could take it to you, right? I took pictures of them and everything. It's just so crazy.
There's a murder in our building. Crazy. It's so crazy. So when you're saying this, I still have to go. There was a murder right next to us in our building. And then Mike had a really good idea. He's like, should we do a podcast called murders in the building? Stop it. Stop it. I mean, that's what happened to them. It's weird that you found bullets. Yeah, but there's casings like you would think everything would have been collected. Like shells. So I would think, yeah, you would take all that into evidence. I mean, guys, there are cars still parked there with bullet holes in them. No way. I'm telling you, we can't do anything with the murder tour. Yeah, I will take you today. As soon as we're done. I do not want to devour all of it all, but every time Eddie says bullets, it's funny to me. Amy English is my second language. That's not what I'm making fun of. It's cute. Did you contact the cops and say, hey, man, there's more bullets? That's another thing I saw in the news story that crime stoppers is offering $5,000 for a reward to find these people. How many cars have bullet holes in them? Now you're being rude.
What? I would say two. Really? Yes. And they probably can't leave. Oh. Because I was doing one tour, and then when I came upstairs and do some work. Why are you doing multiple tours? Because people want to see this stuff, and I'm like, I know exactly where it is. Well, I would want to see it. That's what I'm saying. I can't believe they're a tour leader of what time do you want to do the tour today? Okay. It's time for the good news. We have a lunch box. There are 200 first responders from New York that are participating in a ride. Called the Ride for Resilience. They're riding 343 miles from Boston to Ground Zero to honor the 343 FD and Y people that passed away in 9-11. Anyone, you guys went to New York. Did you take your kid to that? He didn't really want to see the whole memorial thing because I was like, man, we really need to check that out. But we saw the new building kind of went by the area, but he had a few questions and then kind of moved on.
He's also way young. Yeah, he's 13. Yeah, to know or to have experience like we did. Yeah, I think the thing that really got on the austen, I'm like, when that happened, you know, people didn't really know what was happening. So they weren't really trying to get it too far away from it. But when the first building fell, like people couldn't breathe. All that debris came up. People were trying to get into businesses and stuff like that. So when I told them all that, it kind of hit him like, wow, this is way bigger than I thought it was. Did you go to it? Yes, I've been. Did we go together? I don't know. I don't remember who I went with, but I've definitely gone. Me too. Yeah. And I don't remember either. What if we don't remember together? You guys went to the memorial. I think I did. Yeah. I went. Possibly together. We don't know. We used to go to New York all the time for work. Yeah. But the first time I went to New York was, I mean, the February after 9-11. So I saw the hole in the ground and trucks moving stuff still like, wow. I saw all that. Well, it was crazy. Well, all of it, but looking back, they shut down all flights for days.
If you were somewhere, you just got, you were just stuck in a different city. You didn't get about. That's wild. Yeah. You didn't get about. I mean, even being on a college campus, like everything was like the every, like, yeah, air was shut down, but we were shut down. Like there was no classes. Right. I can't remember how long it lasted, but it was like everybody just felt like they could be the next target. Yeah. You're right, because you know, talking about didn't know nobody knew. Nobody knew. That's a great point. It was going to have to be no. A university like wherever. So everything was just locked down. Yeah. And you know, it's cool. It's put on by the friends, the firefighters and live strong. Oh, that's the whole thing. That's what I said. Well, the land structure foundation. I thought once lands was bad. I thought it went away. Like I thought it would be. No, I think he, but it had to mean, there's a whole board and it's bigger than that. Like it was such a movement. Yeah, but it was him and he's like, not good. Because they probably like, I'm glad. I'm glad. No, I'm glad. Yeah, that's awesome. But it was just it was built off lies. It's going.
That's crazy. Yeah. It's still able to do a lot of good. Yeah, absolutely. The foundation did. Yeah, good stuff. Yeah. What are they writing bikes? Yeah, they're writing bikes. That's cool. 343 miles. Do you think it's a cycle bikes because live strong? Yeah, yeah. Well, now he didn't say that at the beginning. Oh, you thought motorcycles. Well, when he just said ride, I don't know, I could have been anything. Try cycles horses. Yeah, I could have been motorcycles. Yeah, but then when he said live strong, I said bikes. Got it. Yeah. Don't be hating. Sorry. That was a little aggressive. I'm sorry. All right. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A guy in Illinois won a million bucks on a lottery ticket, received as a birthday gift. Oh, man, whoever gave that is so ticked. Oh, that's where your mind goes to the person who gave it to the gift. Oh, my gosh. Yes. Oh, surely they'll cut them off a little piece. No, you don't have to do that. A little piece? Who cares about a little piece? You could add a million dollars. You're the one that bought the ticket. But you only bought the ticket to gift to them. Yeah, you may not buy tickets for yourself. Oh, yeah.
You just got to be a fun gift. Yeah, fun gift. And then now they're not going to be friends anymore. What about that, though? It's like if you give the gift and you win it or like you get the gift, are you really supposed to share with the person that gave you the gift? I would. I'm not supposed to know, but let's play it out. Eddie, you give me a ticket. Oh, it's a million bucks. Wow, this is crazy. And I look at you and you're like, hmm. Waiting after taxes. I'm going to have like roughly $700,000, right? Oh, my gosh. I'd probably give you $25,000. Oh, wow. Okay, I was thinking 100. Whoa. Good for you. Some of the worst person. No, not good for me. You made me sell worse. I mean, good for me. Good for me. I was thinking you give 100. $100,000. That's a lot of money. You wouldn't have. You know what? This is hundreds of thousands that you wouldn't have if the person wouldn't have gifted it to you. Don't even say it. It's hypothetical. Don't even say it. Oh, my. You know what? Screw it. I give you all of it. I just give you all of it. Good for you. Thank you. Thank you. A birthday gift from a friend was a $1 million surprise for an Illinois man who thought it
was $1,000 when he hit. He's like, oh, my God. I want $1,000. Because that's how I would be. If I want $1,000, I would go, oh, my God. I want $1,000. So they went to the center, still not knowing that they won. But if you went over a certain amount, you have to go to the office. So they go to the office to get their $1,000 and they said, no, you want a million. How do you know double check that before you go off it? I mean, how do you miss all those zeros? Well, no, no, no, no. I don't know for sure that it was a scratch off. A lottery ticket, I think, was at the bottom the number. It's got to cut it. Yeah. So he thought he won and then he matched all six and then another extra. I don't know. It's some lot of million drawing. But yeah, he's going to go. New car, golf car, family cruise for the 40th anniversary. Million bucks in the frame. You have to do something nice for the friend at the least. Like dinner. Like me, I give you all of it. But this, well, Amy shamed me when I only said $25,000. I was like, I expected so much of you in this hypothetical situation.
I think you would do more. I think I would too, but when I say that, people roll their eyes at me. Well, I said, not even in this room, but just listeners will go like, you wouldn't you say? No, I can vouch for you. I know you would. Thank you. I would hope that you do $100,000. That would be nice. No, but I would make you think it was $25,000. Okay. And then give me the $100,000. And then I'd give you the rest of it. Oh, you know what? Then I'd give you more than the rest. As long as you're grateful. Bobbi Monshow. Down ahead, Dory of the day. This story comes from Oklahoma. A mom and dad really wanted to go play some pickleball. They hadn't played pickleball in a couple days. But they have an eight year old, five year old, and one year old, and no babysitter. How can we do this? You know what, kids? Here's an iPad. We're going to leave you at home. If anything happens, you call 911. We're going to go play pickleball. Eight. Eight, two young. No, it's too young. And it sounds tempting, but you can't do that. Eight, two young, right? To be the oldest? Correct.
So they left. And one of the kids accidentally hit the emergency button on my pad. And then when they answer, they hung up. So pull these respond to the residents or like, oh, where are your parents? And they said, oh, they're playing pickleball? Okay. We have five month old. So I don't really know the intelligence of an eight year old. How bad is this on a scale of one to ten, ten meaning the worst, like a neglect? When eight, leaving an eight year old with the ages were one and five. Yeah, the one year old is the scale. Yeah, because I don't know if an eight year old knows how to properly care for a one year old scale at the seven. Eight. Okay, so it's severe, severe. I think because of the one year old, like, yeah, I mean, you got to have real supervision with the one year. Because you really can't leave an eight year old by themselves. Yeah. I know. Yeah, but leaving an eight year old in the chart. I'm sorry. I don't know. I'm that's why I'm asking. I'm in charge of two other young children. Yes, yes, that's problematic. Right. Okay. And during the investigation, they found out the parents do this quite often.
Pickleball? Leave the kids at home. Why they go play pickleball? Yeah. Maybe the eight year old's prudent stuff. Yeah, that's what I mean. He graduated to that. Okay. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Our next three day weekend. Do you know what it is? Let's see. Thanks, giving. No, it could be, but it's not. The next standard US federal three day weekend is October 10th, 11th and 12th. Columbus Day falls on Monday. We still celebrate that? I don't know. Yes. Feels weird. I don't know. He was a terrible person. He didn't even come to America. Columbus never came to America. Yeah, I think he hit the Caribbean islands first. Yeah. He never came to America. And also, lots of raping and pillaging. But yeah, maybe we still. Do we still observe? Do we have a company Columbus Day holiday, scuba? I think it's Indigenous people's day. That's what they do now. Well, this says work. This says if your workplace does not observe Columbus Day. So it could be Indigenous people. I think it should be Indigenous people. Yeah, I believe it.
So it's been all, it's been, there's been a, a, a, a, a, no. No, because it's the US officer personnel still calls it Columbus Day. And so let's get that straight. And it's also Gulf of America and Lake America. Yeah, not Ontario. And they're thinking about changing New Mexico to New America. Stop. Yeah, we know I heard that one. No, that's a whole state. That'd be crazy. Yeah. Who? What do you mean who? I mean, I can't guess who. That's what that's a parody. That's what it's about. No, they were, he was talking about, Trump was talking about it. He's like, I think we shouldn't name it New America. Oh my god. Will he actually? No. Probably not. But scuba, do we get off? We do not know. Okay, so that's not ours. But some people do. You know what New England would make more sense than New Mexico? Interesting. New America. Okay, what if we did New America for New America? New America for New England. But New England's not a state. Nope. It's a region. I think you were wanting to change it because it said Mexico. That's why. Yeah. So like the New Hampshire, he's probably going to change. No, New England is England. Yeah, but New England, but New England's not a state. It's a region.
It's a region. Yeah. Yeah. New Mexico is literally a state. So the next will be Thanksgiving. Since we don't do that, then it's Christmas and that's what's up. I thought we might get off that Columbus slash indigenous day. And we don't. Don't. Hey, everyone. It's the Jonas Brothers with the Hey Jonas podcast. We've been catching up with some great friends Paul Rod, Michael Bubley, Seth Meyers, Nile Horan, Jake Shane, and making some new friends while getting into what's really like to have sisters like Alex National. She likes to control everyone and tell everyone to do that. Okay, well control is a harsh word. I would say that's a harsh word. I am more outspoken. Growing up a lot of the times because she was so quiet, I would speak for like the both of us. I'm working on like thinking of mom. It's really not. I'm not thinking before I speak. And Joey King. You know if your like mom is yelling at your sibling and even if you're annoyed with your sibling, you just like won't let that slide. It's like you only can yell at your sibling. I'm like, you can't do that here.
That is not what I want talk about her like that. I just want to talk about her. Plus we've been taking your calls, listening to your voice mail and giving advice or at least trying to. So if you've got catching up to do now is the perfect time. Listen to hey Jonas on the I Heart Radio app Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcast. When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. I just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying shut up. Don't say anything. Every week I'm with survivors who lived through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up without a doubt he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled and nearly silenced.
But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. Their stories about what it takes to make it out alive. On the new podcast solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I choose option B. I'm Julie Pinero and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone I kept meeting people and they were like, you smile good that's not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind or wake up to a new version
of yourself. Middle school is a different world than the one we grew up in. I'm Dr. Joy and this is therapy for black girls. We spent real time on it in our surviving middle school run, bringing in a child psychologist and a psychiatrist who's raising two black girls of his own to talk about what's really going on with our kids right now. So it's literally physiological and neurological, psychological chaos happening all this end up. We got into group chats and gaming, friendship and bullying and how to tell the difference between healthy monitoring and the kind of surveillance that a road's trust. You're belonging. You could think of belonging as I can be myself and I can still be accepted and then they're fitting it. Spitting in says I have to change who I am in order to avoid rejection. Then we turn the conversation toward the fathers, sitting down with therapists, cure gains
on black fatherhood and what it means to raise a daughter through this stage. You don't have more shorts so you can't do flips, you have one to dress you up across your legs. That's the range of this run from screen time to identity to the fathers doing the work at home. How to get off our device? But the reality is there's a lot of life out there that we don't want you as your adults in the life to miss out on. Now time for the investigative morning corny me lunch box Eddie have 90 seconds to try to get as many of Amy's jokes right as possible. Ready? Ready. Oh, okay. You both are good. And here we go. The morning corny. Why does the foam wear glasses? Why does the foam wear glasses? See. See.
See. See. A pound key. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. It doesn't have contacts. Yes. It lost its contacts. Good job. Is that count? Yes. Why did keyboards never sleep? Pounding. Uh, because they're always pounding. Why do keyboards never sleep? Because the keys are always jangling. Uh, keyboards. Because they're always, they never sleep. Cause uh, keyboards. Okay, keyboards. Letters. Letters. Letters. Letters. No Zs. Are you guys taking a keyboard like type or like keyboard music? No type. That's what I was thinking. Oh, I think keyboard. But maybe it is music. Oh, I think maybe it is the keyboard. There's no letters. There's no sleep. There's always making music. There's no sleep. They do shift work.
Because they keep. Shift, because up. They have to stay up all night. They shift overnight shift. They work the overnight shift. Because they, why do keyboards never sleep? They were, gosh, we're so close. No. Because of the shift. Because of their. They have two shifts. Yes. Oh, they do have two shifts. Why? Why? They think they have two shifts. Why don't eggs tell jokes? Because they're your own joke. Yeah. We messed it. You got it. You got it. At the buzzer. We didn't set a record, so it's fine. We'll take three. OK. You're not going to. I don't want to be mean. OK, then we'll move on. Don't be mean. I can take it. What is it? No, no, no. Just. What is it going to say? Wait, on two or work day, there's three shifts. So that's when you would not sleep is if you had three shifts. Or a double shift. But you would still sleep out of the second shift. OK, because I guess I'm not migrating. I'm sorry. How many shifts are there, though? Because three morning shift, afternoon shift,
afternoon shift, and then third shift, and then fourth shift. Are there four? And then fifth shift. Jeez. I'm not. All right, there you go. That's the morning corny. Thank you. Did you do clap? Full of. Oh, no, we didn't do it. Did we do the clap? Did I think? No? OK, go ahead. All right, clear eyes, full of hearts. Can't lose. The shift thing turned me off. The Bobby Boshos. All right, a couple of voice analysis. Go ahead and hit that one. Bobby started doing, giving Tuesdays, to try to turn around the negativity from the comments and DMs, the negative thing that he was seeing. But now it turned into like a negative thing that I drive every Tuesday listening to lunchbox. There's enough negativity in the world. So lunchboxes shut up. Love the sound. Thanks. Response? Oh, gosh. Another idiot that likes to call in and run her mouth. Oh, my goodness. Listen, well, she told me to shut up. So I mean, she's obviously an idiot, because my opinions are valid. My points are valid.
It's just I don't like the baking, baking, baking, baking. Uh, give me that. But it's not your money. It's my money. I'm using my own money. Yeah, but you're getting an advantage of and you're doing it for weird reasons. And I don't want you to go bankrupt. What's the weird reason? Yeah, what's the weird reason? Well, that's what I'm saying. You do it, man. And then what's the weird reason? Exactly. All right, number one. Lunchbox got upset when you did a giving Tuesday for a woman who wanted to have her hair done. And he said that you can do without it unless it's essential. Isn't Las Vegas essential for lunchbox? Maybe he should just quit worrying about going to Vegas and quit judging other people because they're not wants might be a little different than his. Thanks. Yeah, you're correct, because I didn't go into Bobby's DMs on giving Tuesday and beg for a trip to Las Vegas. You were going to, we know you're going to. You had a lot in Lodi. You had it. And so I said it the week before. Correct. But so I never asked Bobby for a trip. He just voluntarily gave that to me. I didn't go pleading and begging.
He'd be like, oh, Bobby, I need to get my hair done. I'm about it a lot. I did complain about my treatment. But I didn't say, hey, Bobby, why don't you give me a trip to Vegas. He out of the graciousness of his heart gave that to me. If he saw someone walking down the street and he just wanted to give them $25, that's different. No one asked for it. I don't understand his point sometimes, but who cares? Okay. But that was my point. You understand my point, right guys? Yeah. We just say, yeah, man, yeah, yeah. Leave us a voicemail anytime. 877-77 Bobby. You call while we're here. And if it's all busy, it'll go to voicemail. Leave it. 877-77 Bobby. Bobby Bulls. So Ed, you've been reading the last couple days. Yeah, the four agreements. Yeah, so after the show, we'll middle of the show Tuesday. You did 15 minutes in office. Yes. The Monday off throws me. Right. So Tuesday. And then Wednesday. And we haven't done it yet today on Thursday. Yeah, but I have a question. So in my off time, because yesterday after the show,
I was like, I've got a few minutes here to kill. I picked up the book and I read a few pages. Is that okay? That's exactly it. And don't put any pressure though, because last night, I like to read minimally 20 pages a day. If I can't when I'm reading, and sometimes, it's a nice day if it's 50. Like that's if I really have some time. And I got like nine pages last night. I was so tired. Don't hold yourself to any standard. Okay. I love it that you read a few pages. Sometimes I do one page. That's great. Okay. Then on the weekend, I may get way more. One page seems like a waste of time. No. It's not. The reason one page is great is the same reason that you put on your clothes when you work out, because the hardest part is just getting started. Yes. Because she may do one page and go, Oh, I do have some more time that I can keep reading. Because you can't read 10 pages if you don't read one. Okay. And I'm just saying, for example, some nights it might be one page, other nights it might be more. And I'm not shaming you. I think it's great. You read an elephant, Bobby? By shooting it and then going, it's taking it to a butcher, go, you're a butcher to an elephant and they go, no, and they go, okay, take some time.
And then they cook it for, and then you eat it. That would be the easy way. Yeah, that seems like the way to do it. No, you, okay. I know it's one bite at a time. I know. I was just trying to show Eddie like you just got to take it one page at a time. So, what are your thoughts? Not on the book, on reading. Oh, reading. Okay, so reading's fine. I feel like there are some days where I read better than others, which is weird. No, it's normal. That's normal. Yeah, that's like our brains. It's our brains. Think of easy trivia. Think of working out. Like you go in, you can do the same exact workout, but some days you just don't feel good. And some days you're able to really, yeah. Like some days I'm struggling with a sentence and I'm just like, oh my God, what does that even mean? And then some days I'm flying. Next to you know, five pages later, I'm like, wow, I just read five pages. Think of it as like you're working out. Some days you can do sprints and fill a lot better and some days you do two and you're like, oh man, something right today. You know where I felt like there was really a problem was when I was carrying my book around the office and somebody goes, are you reading? And I was like, wow, like everybody knows I don't read. That's crazy.
No, no, they were saying, are you reading like, you're carrying number, but you just got cool person to really look at it the wrong way. Oh yeah, I was like, oh yeah, what? I don't read. No, you took it the wrong way. Really? You got cool person. Like are you reading that, no, yeah, that's positive. Okay, okay. And then that's when you just need to own it. And you're like, yeah, this is the four agreements, heart of it. And then somebody goes, are you reading the four agreements? I'm like, I am. So that was kind of cool. Boom. Yeah, but then they were like, how far are you in like 10 pages? That's okay. It does not matter. LeBron used to show up, press conferences holding a book and he'd be on like the first page every time. It was just a prop. So it was just a prop? Was that a joke? I, or like the third page, I think he just would carry a book into make it look like he was reading something. That's funny. But he was always on the beginning. And then it started to get noticed. Like LeBron's actually never reading these books. Okay, so now you're two days in. Yeah, two days in and I got a little book marker too. Love it. You know, look at that. Okay, cool.
Pretty cool. He'll do some more today. I'm a reader. Are you taking anything from it yet? It's starting to get interesting. It started with like, what are they talking about? To now, I'm like, this is, and it's what's funny is like, you start reading a few things and you're like, ooh, lunchbox would really, this could really help lunchbox if you read this book. Just do you. I'm just saying, I start thinking. Why are you just doing it? You're doing it, man. There are certain things that remind me of certain people. And I'm like, oh, interesting. Just do you, buddy. Okay. That's like you're like good people that are at church like, oh, so and so could really use this message. And then you forward the message. I know, you know, for the message. I was very good. I feel like that. You did look like a headboard. Anyway, he's about to hop out and read again. Okay, we will keep track. Good job. Thank you. Even one page is good. Oh, no, I'm 20, dude. No, I know, but I'm just saying, even if you're at home and you read one page and something distracts you and you have to quit, the fact that you started, that is a small victory for the day. These guys go to a restaurant and they get some takeout and they discover a hairless newborn rat squirming
in their takeout meal. Did you guys see the picture? Oh, it's so disgusting. I did not because it's like, click here to see picture and guess what I didn't do. It's like, I didn't want to see it. Mine didn't give me the option. They just showed me the rat. Thoughts? Ugh, guys, it looked, it's a fetus. It was so gross. It was a fetus of a basal rat. It was a live rat. It was moving. It was moving. Oh my God. It was wiggling. It was gross. And I don't know how anyone would not see that. What do you mean? Like, it doesn't look like, what were they eating? What did they order? It doesn't look like a salad. It doesn't look like chicken. It was a baby fetus. Mm. Mm. What are they saying about how it is? It's pink, careless, alien light creature. Oh. Whose eyes were not fully open. Could be seen wiggling its little arms and legs. Oh, the... I hate that for that. I don't know what I got in there. I know. Mm. Okay, I didn't see the picture. I'm glad it didn't. Yeah, you're lucky. You guys have to talk to your doctor through a portal at all? I did. I was the most annoying thing in the world. I think it's amazing. Yeah, I like it. I was able to ask my son's pediatrician, his cross-country coach wanted to put him on
iron and some other supplement. And I just threw the portal and she replied back so quickly. She's like, yeah, that sounds good to me. And I'm like, wow, we didn't even have to go in to the doctor. It's amazing. What do you think about an orange box? It's annoying because it says, oh, I can take up to two days for a response. So when you have a question, don't worry about getting health advice for a couple days. It's really annoying. I never had that way too. I'd be quite annoyed. It may say that. It's always within... It's pretty quick. An hour to longest five hours. Yes. Oh. You guys must have the best doctors in the world. Yeah. No, sometimes it could be anybody that responds. And the whole... You're right. It could be another nurse or something. So they analyzed almost four million medical advice requests sent through portals and what you can say to get your doctor to actually respond just a word. Help. No. You used their name. If you greeted your doctor by their last name, Dr. Garcia. Yeah. Yes.
You got a response almost 40% more. Wow. Because you're showing them respect. Or... They feel seen. Or they feel specifically for them. Oh, and it feels personal. Yeah. Okay. You wouldn't feel like... I mean, Dr. You've gone through all this school. You want to be respected. And then somebody's like, Hey, have a headache. What do I do? Hi. You know, you don't like that. Even in the portal. Yeah. So that's what it says. It's just a little tip here. And FYI, use the doctor's name. You get a response so many more times. That was from the New York Post. Lunchbox, what airlines am I sending you out on, Vegas? Frontier. How you feel about that? I mean, I think it's a safe airline. I mean, I don't have a problem with that. I have a problem with the times that they fly. It's tough. Yeah. Okay, but just the airline you like. Yeah, I don't mind the airline. They got animals on the side. That's pretty cool. Yeah, different animals. That's cute. On the outside of the plane. Yeah, on the plane. Frontier airlines is doing a 249. Oh, you can fly pass. For the year. To what?
Oh, you can fly, huh? Frontier airlines fall and winter go wild pass. Back on self are 249. Nearly unlimited travel through February, 2027. Huh. That's, I'm a travel agency. That's only six months. Pass holders pay just one cent near fair per flight after they pay the 249. With one personal item included, check bags, larger carry on, some seed assignments at it. But yeah, no, that's it. I guess they can't get people to fly right now. It's pretty amazing. So it's, you could fly now through February. Sounds like it. Wow. This is not a commercial. So all I have is a new story that I saw and I pulled it and it doesn't say that. But that's what it seems like. I saw a travel expert online. I know. So expert. I'll say that loosely. Talking about how if you're going to be traveling this holiday season, buy your tickets now. And my mind I was thinking now that seems so crazy. But we're really not that far away from holiday. I know. Holiday. You're right. It's going to be before we know it. I know.
So it can really buy this thing though. It's like, I mean, I can't travel that much. So I don't know if I can use all of that. But if you go twice, aren't you kind of already at even? Sounds about like maybe two. Mm-hmm. See, the story I got Mark Cuban back in the day for a quarter million dollars. He bought unlimited flying. Not really. And then he's been able to use it for millions of dollars. Wow. Now he has a private jet, but he did it forever. There is an influencer to the diet after receiving penis enlargement injections. Oh, I saw this. I was a very large man. But his wiener wasn't. I think he had a micro penis. Yeah. I think. What was his handle was like something about his penis? No, but the funny thing people were doing online was that we just take the headline and they would quote retweet it and put a picture up of like their friend and it'd say, influencer dies after receiving penis enlargement. It's picture of Mike D or whatever. Oh, that's funny. Well, I thought it was terrible. Ego Ubrebo, but his nickname is tiny. Yeah. Tiny. Tiny was vacationing with his wife underwent the procedure and he began to complain about
chest pains and suffered repeated loss of consciousness and he died heart pulmonary ambulism. That is so like you need to have an agreement with the doctor. If medically anything goes wrong, I was in for a kidney donation, you know? Oh, don't save his penis enlargement. That's a good point. Yeah. If I die, that was not getting pulled. Exactly. As a matter of fact, switch it to penis reduction. Right. Right. He's in his cell base. Right. But I was in for a penis reduction. Right. Because it was painful. Now we all know. Right. But I don't know why his nickname was tiny. Maybe everybody knew. I think he was an influencer for the Italian Packer. Oh. So then everyone knew already. Mike, was he a tiny packer influencer? Guys, big man. Big man. Yeah, which makes it crazy at tiny packer. Or is it, you know, the way it's... I'm gonna say it, guys. He was too big for that. He said, be black man. Yeah, because he's from Uganda, I think, right? Nigeria. Yeah, so just contrary to what you would think.
No, you're right. No, she's right. Right. Just like... I've never thought that. No, she's right. And I played football and we weren't all white. And I'm telling you. Yeah. It's true. It's true. Yeah, it's true. And it always made me feel like I had a really, really, really small one. I'm not kidding. Because we had some... All my friends are black guys in the football team. And they were naked. So I always thought my whole life had a tiny one. Because I would see theirs. I just need to be around more white winners. Thank you for having us. I'm not kidding. Yeah, I know. I was always like, oh god, I can never show this. I was gonna be a micro-painted influencer. Name tiny. Yeah. Mike, was he a micro-painted influencer? I don't see that. Maybe it wasn't. But maybe they were just being funny because he's so big. He's so big in contact. I know. I just thought, call me this guy. What was the influencer of then? Because if you're not as tiny, yeah. Just raise your hand if you find it. So we're a thing to Google. I know sometimes I put Mike in a tightrope. It's time for the good news. Which party? Down with something good. The six-year-old disappeared into the woods.
This isn't Delaware. And so they bring out the dog. The dog's name is Fiasco. And they go, all right, go. They gave the dog one of the boys crocs. That dog. Right to him. Smelled one of the crocs. Beeline. Deep in the woods. Right to the kid. Amazing. And I get it. I'm not a dog. We don't understand. Yeah. But the fact they went smell it. And he wasn't like sniffing around for a day or six hours. Went right to him. The boy who asked special needs had disappeared after running into the woods. And thanks to Fiasco, researchers found him near a pond. The kid was muddy, wet, and barefoot, but healthy. Right to him. Wow. Oh, man, dogs. We don't deserve them. Great story. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Some government official in Florida were hoping to capitalize in Miami off of GTA 6 coming out. And so they were going to do this thing and people revolted. And they're not. Grandfather.
Yeah. Here's the thing. The reason I wanted to bring this up was not this story. This is going to be the most sold piece of media in the history of the world. They've, it's been a decade. This game is going to be so robust. And it's not just the GTA storyline. They're going to have games inside the games inside the games. Like I said, you want to be a pro basketball player. They're going to have a game inside of a replay basketball. It's going to be casino. So it's going to be. Oh, it's going to be, in my opinion, the biggest selling most culturally impactful digital piece of anything in the history of the world. But, wow, aren't there really disturbing things that are happening inside this game inside other games inside other games? I came about the storyline. I'm talking about some of the activities that happen within the game. Like, can you hook up with someone in the casino? And I'm not just talking, yeah, like. I don't know what you're asking. I just saw this, uh, uh, fiance talking about how if she, her fiance were to want to play this game, she wouldn't allow it.
Uh, you can get in trouble anywhere on the internet. So this is that. So it's not about this game. It's if you're looking for trouble where you're connected other people, you can find trouble. But nobody in this room is going to play it. This game is not out. It has not been out. When it comes out. I play it. I'm going to get it for sure. But while we play it, it's going to be my degree. I just heard it say dirty. No, it's not dirty. No, you can literally be an NBA player and play basketball. You can be a rider. But anywhere you can connect with people, people will ruin that. I think I understand what you're saying now. Yeah. I just was like roadblocks. That's supposed to be for kids, but are there petafiles on there? Yes. That doesn't mean that game is for petafiles. It's self is bad. Okay. I see what you're saying. I'm only basing it off the clip that I saw in which she was describing was very disturbing. I don't even want to repeat it. So I thought, ew, why would people want to play this game? No, there's going to be such a world of this game. For us anything. Yes, anything. There's going to be such a world in this game that you don't have to play the game to be totally into the game. Oh. That's a bold claim, but I do think it'll be the biggest game in the history games.
I think it'll be more than any movie ever sold. They've spent over a billion dollars making it. It's been over a decade. I mean, the last one came out in 2013 and people still play it. Yeah. And so that, yeah, I think you think it's going to be that, yeah, I watched a whole thing on Netflix. I watched the whole 40 minutes too. It is just like game play. You're like, this is fascinating. And I'm not even going to play the game. Oh, I want to know the world. Did you watch somebody play it? No. It's just a preview. Are we have a bunch of 80 year olds? What are you? What are you? Yes, her. What is she was asked about pervose? Yeah, my concern was some of the activity that seems questionable in the game, but Bobby's right in that people, something can be pure fun and some people out there are going to make it sick. We watched on Netflix. They were showing the storyline in the graphics and I watched it was like 40 minutes. It was awesome. It was cool. And you're not watching a person play like you're streaming, but you're just watching the game. What the game looks like. But they're not showing all that you can do in like the, you know, we play NBA. Yeah, you can do all the stuff. Sure. That time's a million.
Okay. And it's 30 minutes long. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, the Netflix has a moving on. Oh, my God. What's wrong with you? Like the Netflix thing you're talking about is 30 minutes long. Netflix is only the actual game play. Right. That's what I want to see. Yeah, it's 30, 40 minutes. Yes. And they shoot bullets. Okay, bullets. It's one more question. Why can't they not allow the dirty stuff? Okay, but I don't know the answer to that. Why would say about the internet in general? Or why don't they not allow crime? You know, Amy, I don't know. I don't like it. I don't. Is that any worse than like killing someone in a game? Yeah. Well, some of the stuff she was describing that they have to do with girls. Yeah. There's nothing you can do in the game they've made with the actual characters that it would be something that would be considered like that. But what we're talking about though is all of the things you can do inside. What would you call that world? It's an open world. Oh, yeah. There's going to be so much there to do.
Regardless, it seems to make a thing that's ever happened, I think. But what do I know? Hey, everyone. It's the Jonas Brothers with the Hey Jonas podcast. We've been catching up with some great friends, Paul Rod, Michael Boulier, Seth Meyers, Nile Horan, Jake Shane, and making some new friends while getting into what's really like to have sisters. Like Alex and Ashton Earl. She likes to control everyone until everyone to go. Okay, well, control is a harsh word. I would say that's a harsh word. I am more outspoken. Growing up a lot of the times because she was so quiet, I would speak for like the both of us. Now I'm working on like thinking a mom is really not a good thing for me. And Joey King. You know if your like mom is yelling at your sibling and even if you're annoyed with your sibling, you just like won't let that slide. It's like you only can yell at your sibling. I'm like, you can't do that here. That is not what I want to talk about her like that. I just want to talk about her like that. Plus, we've been taking your calls, listening to your voice mails and giving advice. Or at least trying to. So if you've got catching up to do now is the perfect time.

You just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying, shut up, don't say anything. Every week I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up without a doubt he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled and nearly silenced. But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. Their story is about what it takes to make it out alive. On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I choose option B. I'm Julie Bignero and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Buy Asia Revenant or so at least 70% have a phone. So it's literally physiological and neurological and psychological chaos happening all this e-job. We got into group chats and gaming, friendship and bullying, and how to tell the difference between healthy monitoring and the kind of surveillance that erodes trust. You can think of belonging as I can be myself and I can still be accepted and then they're fitting in. Fitting in says I have to change who I am in order to avoid rejection. Then we turn the conversation toward the fathers, sitting down with therapists, caregames on black fatherhood and what it means to raise a daughter through this stage. You don't have more shorts so you can't do flips, you have more to dress up across your legs. That's the range of this run, from screen time to identity to the fathers doing the work at home.
You have to get off her device. But the reality is there's a lot of life out there that we don't want you as your adults in the life to miss out on. This has been our surviving middle school run brought to you by the people who spend their careers thinking about exactly this. I'm Dr. Joy. Listen to therapy for black girls on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcast. What happened? Got a question for you guys. So I got a flat tire, right? So I go to this tire shop to get it fixed or whatever. And the guy looks at it and he says, Oh man, that thread on that tire is too low. You know what? It would be legal for me to fix it. It would be illegal to fix it. He said it's illegal to fix it if it's the thread or whatever is low enough. And I looked at him like, it's not that low. He said, can I interest you in four tires though? Cause you're at that point. So I said, is this a scam? Like, is it really illegal to fix a flat when the thread is a little low or is he just trying to get me to buy four tires?
So obviously I don't know the answer to that. It feels though that he immediately goes to, hey, you need four tires anyway. Yeah. Yeah. Because immediately I said, are you going to change it or not? He said, no sir, I can't do it. Unfortunately, it's illegal. And I said, well, then I'm going to go somewhere else. He's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Like, hold on before you leave. I said, no, if you're not going to fix it, I don't need new tires. I'm going somewhere else. Let's let me go. It's absolutely not a scam. It is legit. The dude is telling you the truth. That's why they go out. And when you say you have one tire that has a problem, they go around and check all four tires to see where your tread is at. And that way they know if it is safe to put you back on the road with those tires. And if it is not, that's when they say, hey, man, you're going to need those four tires. You were not being scammed. The dude was doing an honest business deal. I don't know. I understand. I've been scammed on tires too many times to believe anybody. Yeah, that's true. But I know tire guys. I know guys in the tire business and they would always tell me, man, they would tell me the truth.
And that tread too low is 100% legit. They even have the sign. No, I saw the sign lobby. And it says, if your tread is below this, can't be driving. That's the place. It must be the same place. Yeah, that's legit. What'd you do went to another place? What happened? They fixed my tire. Not a problem. Did you go to a shadier place? No, I just another place. No, no. Did you go to like a side of the road kind of place? Was this place supposed to be shadier than place A? I would say it's a little shadier. Yeah, little shadier. But I mean, still, they weren't trying to sell me tires. And shadier people should scam you harder. I would think so. Yes, me. They looked at it and said, yeah, I'm gonna fix that. Hey, you guys, if you know about this, hit us up. And if you can't get through because it's busy or whatever, leave us a voicemail. Was this a scam? Like what is the actual rule? 877-77 Bobby. Get your baby bones on. Not a bones. Someone on Instagram commented on the vacation pictures that I had posted in a video. And it hurt my feelings, but they were right.
Uh-oh. And that rarely happens. So I posted on our vacation, my wife, her parents, our baby, we went to East Tennessee. And I was on a zipline and they were like, dude, your arms are so small. And I looked at it. He was right. I, since I had ankle surgery and this is me, I have the baby. I've neglected the gym. And not only I've been going a couple of times a week, but because I know I can't work out as much because of all the time I have to spend with the baby, I have been conscious about my eating. And so I don't overeat. I don't eat much sugar. Probably 70. I just, I'm not in an unhealthy way, but I just make sure I don't, I can't burn it off. Don't eat a whole lot. And so I looked my arms and I was humiliated. Take a look now. I'll pull it out for you. I got you because the one thing I kind of have is pretty good arms for a skinny guy. And here, look, tell me, and you're going to say yes, and it's okay to hurt my feelings. They've already been hurt. But look at my arms here, even on that.
Okay. They're not, they're, they're green beans. Yeah. So I'm back, I'm back, boys. You're back to the gym. I'm back. Yoke him. I'm too old to be yoke now. It's, my body won't even get there anymore. But I, I, this person was trying to be mean, but they were right. Yeah. Why would you even comment that like to know because people in the internet are losers, but this loser was right. And then there was another one. I don't know. I mean, who cares? Right. No, but I need that. Like if it's true, it's motivating to you. That one was at first. I feel like your arms look, they don't, they're little. Look at this person's profile. How are they, how are their arms? It was a blank one. It was somebody just trolling me, but they were still right. It doesn't matter. And then another person said, hey, look at your legs. They're even worse. And it's a, it's a weird picture because I'm kind of behind my wife. My legs look smaller than hers because she has muscular legs. They look like toothpicks.
I don't want to comment on your body. I would like for you to. I'm asking you to. I noticed that. Yeah, you noticed that. I'm small. Yeah. All right. I got to look at it. And a little bit of it. I noticed. I noticed. I noticed. I noticed the angle, but also boys, I've lost. I've lost some muscle. I got to get back at it. At one point in time when we measured legs like you were coming in. I'm a winner. Yeah. Cause so you were going to let me know. Let's beat Nalbi's jackals. Whoa. Whoa. It wasn't coming to the government. It's about anything on my bed. Geez, man. You have my legs look like. Yeah. They look little. Yeah. And a part of it again, it is the angle and the shorts. And you can see her thighs, but you can't see mine. But anyway, it looks like I'm the legs of 11 year old. I mean, it looks like you guys are standing right next to each other. No, I'm the angle's a little bad. I keep telling myself. So yeah. And then Eddie also got me in the comments like a jerk. What, what did I say? You don't have to do this in the comments. What did I say? So Caitlin, I are going to Brooks and Dunn this weekend. We wouldn't miss it. We love Brooks and Dunn. We're also very family friends with the lead singer Brooks and Dunn and his wife.
And I wrote as a video from the 80s of these two people dancing. I said, this is Caitlin and I on Saturday night. And I wrote, here we go, dosi doh. And Eddie goes, it's hill to dosi doh. It felt good doing that because you like to be the troller. No, no, people do that all the time. That's funny. That's really what I do. Yeah, the lyrics wrong. Yeah, yeah. And I was like, did you know, you know that it's not. I didn't really. I know I've been corrected on this show. But when I sing it, I sing. Here we go, dosi doh. Yeah. What sucks is that show they go on at like 915 or 920 that Brooks and Dunn the headliner. Oh, dang. And so that's the normal headline set for a Saturday night. And that is fine. And we wouldn't miss it. Arkansas plays Utah at nine o'clock because we're playing in Utah over there. Mm-hmm. Now luckily, I told Ronnie that and he said, well, put you in a suite and turn on the TV up there. Perfect. Hmm. Sorry, you're going to just kind of watch both. I'm just going to put it on my phone and what I have to watch it.
But that concert will be fun. But I, especially if Arkansas doesn't get run. So Eddie, you don't need to be that person noted. And my leg and my arms are smaller. And I'm going to do something about it. So it's time to get a bit unhealthy. Just a bit. Oh, boy. Oh, no, you don't need to be unhealthy. A bit. No, no, no, no, no. I can't do that. You know how I do everything. Just a little bit. Just a little bit, but not a lot of it. So you're saying everything has to be unhealthy? Yes. Okay. Cool. So just a little toxic. Yeah, I just like to get an access to this. Just like a little dash in toxic. Gavin Adcock was on the show. And right on the other side of the Gavin Adcock clip or not. But Gavin Adcock is the guy that fights with everybody. Yeah. He has really good music. His music doesn't sound like what he looks like. No, no, no, very like soft. His music is awesome. Yeah. And then you think if you just say hi, he's going to punch in the gut. I like him a lot. And I offered him $5,000 to read the Hunger Games.
Because he just said he didn't read. And I said, you'll love it. Do you think he'll do it? No. No, not a chance. I don't think he's going to do it. Zero percent chance. Five going to a charity. Yeah, no, there's no way. No. You offered that to him. He said whatever he said. And then he loved you. I ain't doing that. Did he say that? No, in his head. Oh. Well, I don't think he's doing it. I wondered if you guys had thought about that at all. Because I watched the clip back and I laughed. I laughed that I would even have the idea to offer somebody $5,000 to read a book. Because look at him. Yeah. He's got a shirt on button. His big beard. The picture behind him's him smoking. And I just thought it'd be funny if he read Hunger Games. I thought it was a little unfair because you're making me read a book for free. So I thought, so I was like, well, it's fine. And he's already got a lot of money because he's Gavin Edcock. So I was like, well, that's not really not fair. But anyway, I'm reading my book. You know, you're getting money. It's called, you're paid to be on the show. Right. And you're rebreeding at work while you should be doing something else. You are getting paid to read. Yeah, it wouldn't be funny though. You walk up on Gavin Edcock at a picnic table, re-enhancing games.
That's pretty funny image. But he ain't doing it. I'm going to do, so Amy, I brought this in. Mm-hmm. What are we doing here? So it's a movie's murder in our building. Yeah. And so you can carry gun anywhere you want. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And this is a, it's called Stormtrooper White, handgun. Uh, you want to see it? Yes. What are we doing? Why are you pointing it towards me? It's not on me. Hey, pointed out. Point it down. Point it down. If you should always point it down. Whoa. I knew it should always be pointed down. I can't. I'm doing it. Okay, yeah. Why is everybody hiding under the table? Why are you pointing it down? No one might, it's pointed down. When you hear the day, Amy, it's kind of, oh. It's not there. Hey, it's loaded loaded? Of course, it's loaded. Okay. So I know you said your daughter was thinking about getting a gun. Yes, you want to take a handgun safety training class. Yes. So, uh, don't point it at them. Here's this one. So this is actually called a Berna. Okay. Are you familiar with it? No. So it's amazing.
It is not what would be considered an actual gun, but it is for, I have it for, like, home invasion. Remember the thing I talked about that wasn't a real gun, but you can, if somebody breaks into your house, you can shoot them with it. Yes. And so this is it. This is it. And it is awesome. So let me see this one second. It is a less lethal, and they don't call it a gun, but a launcher, but some cops have these as well. And it's basically like a, uh, oh, call it a marble. It's not really a marble, but a marble. And these ones that I have also when it hits the chemicals go up like a pepper spray. Oh, wow. So it's a double. Like pepper balls. Yeah. There's kinetic rounds, which are the hard plastic balls. There's pepper rounds. And from 60, 70 feet, it feels like you're being hit with a bullet. It won't kill you because for me, if somebody breaks into my house, I'm going to shoot them. I've had people breaking into my house. I've had, I've been jumped gunpoint all that. It's going to happen. But I would rather not kill somebody. Right. And this will incapacitate them and not kill them.
And so I brought this in. Now, less lethal does not mean harmless. And you're still pointing at me. That's not pointed at you. Point it down, please. Sleeful does not mean harmless because it can hurt somebody bad. Right. So it sounds like right up my alley. This is what's to share a needs. And I need to. I have a shotgun still at the house. I'm a gun guy. Just so everybody knows, I have a home invasion 12 gauge. I'm way more comfortable with shotguns than I am handguns. But Eddie and I went and shot these. It's awesome for anybody that, and you can carry them in all 50 states. It's not considered a gun, but they are used for, you know, it's, it's effective. I'll say that. I mean, it's deliberately looking like a real gun as well. Mm-hmm. And accurate too. I was shocked by that. Like how accurate it was. They do not pay us. No. I just talked about it on the show before. The less lethal, again, gun because it looks like a gun. I think it'd be awesome if you had one of these. I think it'd be awesome if your daughter had one of these.
I have one now too. I have it all of my shotgun as well. But I have this. If I hear something, I'm going out with this. Because most people, I'm going to put myself in most people's heads. Okay, someone's coming in and they grab their gun. They got to go, man, if I shoot this person, I might kill them. And I don't know if I want to do that. And by that time, they're being attacked and maybe they lose their life or their hurt. This, you feel like it's dangerous? Go. And again, they have the pepper balls too. Yeah, lots. It's a BY RNA burner. Burn end is stormtrooper. I got stormtrooper wide. That's right. That's right. No, it's not. And I've also unloaded it. Oh, okay. That's better. Those are the pepper balls. These are just practice balls. We were shooting yesterday. We were just out shooting stuff. We're in the backyard. Yeah. Me and Matt Castle and Kevin. Because they're amazed with it. They're all getting one. Because they want to protect their house. And two, it's not a gun gun.
And it's legal. And it will mess somebody up. Yeah. You know what, I mean, once the person was murdered here, I bring it to work. I put him up on it. Always have it with you. It's a stacent crap. No, no, no, no, I'm not saying anything. No, thank you for sharing. Because it's coming at a perfect time, especially with my daughter's curiosity. And even for me needing something next, I mean, I know how to use a handgun. And I have my license. But this, I feel way more comfortable with. Yeah, it's called a burner. And you guys can, I don't know, go online or something. This is how you know it's not a commercial. If I say go online or something, we have a store here. Yeah, we do. And I didn't know we had that. And Eddie and I just drove down, but I'm right down my way near my house and we went and shot. And I would recommend them to everybody. You don't need, even if you're not a gun person. You know what's really weird is that I was worried about taking one home because I have kids. But really it's like, it's really not anything to worry about with them. You know, like I felt comfortable then having a gun around where kids can just grab it and do it.
Like I think they understand what it is. And now I can educate them on what to do with something like this. And because it's not a real gun, I liked it. But it will do what needs to be done. Correct. I'm sure I could talk about that better like if I had actual points. But I just wanted to bring it in to show Amy because her daughter was wanting a gun because she's living by herself. For Amy, I think it would be great to have. Yeah. For me, I love it. Because I don't keep my shotgun loaded. I keep the show, the bullets, whatever you want to call them away. I'm quick in its bird shot. I need to pretty good spread. I'm no slug. It's not sought off a home invasion. It's shorter, but it's home invasion. It's not sought off. But to our listeners out there, it's called a burn. A B Y R N A. I encourage you to check it out. I have the one that's called this is CL. So it looks like a handgun. Nice. Yeah. So that's it. Not a commercial. I would love if they sponsored the show. That they saw this segment. They wanted to be a sponsor and they gave us all guns. We have like Wednesday shootouts.
And because there was a murder in our building, we were a little on edge. Yep. Mike, would you get something like this? Definitely. Okay. Yeah. B Y R N A. Bobby Bones. Yeah. All right. Voice mail. Ed She had to leave a segment early because his wife had a doctor's appointment and his kids were home alone. Isn't one of his boys 17 or 18? I don't get it. It's a great question. You did have to leave the show early because your wife had a doctor appointment. Yeah. It wasn't to be with your wife. It was to watch your kids. Yeah. He works. The older one works. So he goes to school like half the day and then works the second half of the day. I had to jump in and cover for the younger three. And the oldest of the younger three is the oldest. He's 12. He's just turned 13. So is that old enough for the 13 to 12? Oh, they don't need a supervisor. I agree, but the problem with them three together, they're just like bad bad news. Can you give the 13 year old though a little power, a little autonomy over the group?
I don't think they see how it works. I don't think they'll listen to him. Or do you think you'll drive up Mr. Smoke coming from like over the hill? Maybe. Yes, dude. I'm telling you them three together. Like the other day one of them went to a friend's house and it was just two. It was a world of difference. It was so different, but then three together, man, they're crazy. Fair enough. Like I feel like- But at some point though, they're all still going to be crazy and they're going to be 15 and 14. Like when does it end where you go? I have to try to see if they're responsible. I think the problem is that the 13 and the 12 year old, they're so close that they work as one. Can they work as one for good, not evil? Maybe when they go to college, we'll see. Oh, that's a good question. I didn't think about that. That's the answer to it.
